opinion/theory on human magic?

not theory, but i do have headcanons: if monster magic is self expression as they are made of magic... on the contrary, humans channel external/ambient magic and bend it to their will. they do have a bit of magic in them, but as magic is pure energy, it works better with less corporeal beings: as a result, humans need a medium for magic to flow through them. ye olde wizard staff being the classical example, but anything can act as a "wand", especially if the human has a strong emotional attachment to it.

however! because humans aren't build to actually be magic, an excess of it tends to destabilize their bodies in the same way that an excess of determination can destabilize a monster's. this is why "wizard" is a category of human (unlike in monster society, where everyone is capable of magic): there are very great risks that come with the profession. and not everyone is suited to magic channeling.

Since Easter is coming soon, how about S/O plans a special Easter egg hunt for skeleton. The skeleton has to find a special egg that has a mystery item inside for them!

Main ten plz

Undertale Sans - That sounds like a lot of work but he's doing it for you. He's more enthusiastic about the chocolate eggs though. That's the longest time you've seen him in the yard since you moved in you think. You kinda feel like you're taking your skeleton for a walk :')

Undertale Papyrus - You regret your decision when Papyrus says that you know he likes puzzles and so you obviously didn't make things easy. That's when he takes a shovel and starts digging holes. In the entire yard. You're hyperventilating at this point. The egg is right there, on a very visible spot, but Papyrus said it's too easy and so that it's a trap and he refuses to take it. You're not sure how you're going to explain this to your landlord.

Underswap Sans - He's excited and starts to inspect every corner of the yard. What doesn't help are the chocolate eggs he's eating as he looks for the special egg, which sends him into a sugar rush. Blue has way too much energy now and he starts to have zoomies, randomly running to you, picking you up above his head, and running around with you like this as you hold for dear life. Honey signs a "I told you so" from behind the window.

Underswap Papyrus - He's like a child. He comes running to you, excited, at each egg he finds. He wants to show you. When he finds the special egg, you hear him scream in victory from the other side of the house. Best game ever!

Underfell Sans - What do you think he is? Five? He's too old for this. So what's the gift? He's mad you won't tell him. He's so bad at hunting eggs that he gets frustrated very quickly and keeps asking you to show him the egg already. You refuse. It's not an egg hunt if you don't hunt the eggs.

Underfell Papyrus - You kinda realized Edge never did this before as he runs outside a spear in hand to hunt for the egg. Since he can find it, he calls Undyne for backup. Your two idiots are going to trash the yard, hunting for an invisible enemy, as you're watching in disbelief with Alphys from the patio.

Horrortale Sans - He's not too good at this, but he's having fun. You try to help him a little when you see him search in the same spot for the third time. This little game is actually good for training his memory as well. He's in a good mood all day after this, proud he found all the eggs by himself. Good luck to get him to share now lol. That's his eggs. There's a high chance he's going to hide them somewhere in the house so no one touch them.

Horrortale Papyrus - You say nothing and simply watch as he discovers weird eggs have grown on the trees. Willow is so confused about this and keeps asking if you're seeing this. Who would put chocolate eggs in a tree? That's silly. After finding some in the chicken coop, he grows suspicious though. You didn't do that, did you? You play the innocent one, but you can't fool him for long. He's excited when he learns about Easter, and now he wants to organize an egg hunt for you too!

Swapfell Sans - He can tell the special chocolate egg is very expensive and he's a little embarrassed about it. You shouldn't ruin yourself for him. No, but really. He's not a big fan of chocolate lol. He still going to eat some to please you, but most of it disappears inside of Rus's non-existent stomach. You're pretty sure Rus didn't even notice the difference with his garbage bad-quality chocolate eggs. It's just chocolate.

Swapfell Papyrus - Well, cool, because he did the same inside the house. You two are competing to see who will find all the eggs first. Rus is surprisingly good at this. What he doesn't say though is that his smell is actually more developed than normal so it's not really difficult.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He doesn't understand why would humans hide chocolate in the yard when you can really put them all in a basket on the table. It seems way easier to eat them? He's not going to question it. You can see he's judging you so hard though, and congratulates you every time he finds an egg so you feel contented or something. Humans are so weird.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He's overexcited by this game. He wants Easter to be every day of the year! It rained chocolate in the garden, that's crazy! You hear him scream in excitement every time he finds one. He's so happy!

Dragontale Undyne redesign

Hey guys, Dragon8er here!

And it's finally happened.

After nearly a year and a half, I've come up with a Dragontale Undyne design that doesn't suck!

Her final design, in fact!

I'm serious, too.

I've been working on Dragondyne's design on-and-off since last Summer. In fact, this here is technically her 4th design.

As for the others...

The other two I never actually posted publicly because I never finished them. Because they suck.

But, I suppose I may as well talk about them...

This was her first redesign.

It was actually inspired pretty heavily by Prince Sidon from Zelda. Which makes sense, given that he is the perfect being.

Specifically, I actually drew inspiration from how Sidon is in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, with his duel spears.

Good game, by the way, WAY fucking over-hated. Sidon was one of my favorite characters to play as honestly lol. So I drew direct inspiration for this Undyne design. I still think even her current design would use 2 spears if she wanted to lol.

Oh, and this design's boots are basically just a combination of the boots that Undyne and Papyrus from @otherswap wear lol.

Shoutouts to Otherswap by the way, it's peam.

Oh and yeah she had an angler in this design, which is kinda cool, but I honestly only did 'cause I was struggling to get a horn design that I liked.

Honestly, this design isn't the worst thing, buuuuut I hated it, so I scrapped it lol.

This was the next design I came up with months later.

This one was also inspired by Otherswap Undyne, specifically in regards to the chest strap-pauldron and torso.

You can see I actually started to do lineart 'cause I liked this design way more. Buuut I still didn't like it that much. The hair was what really killed it for me. She looked fuckin emo here, which I didn't want her to lol.

And then the other day, I finally decided to buckle the fuckle in and FINALLY redesign her for realsies.

As you can see, her final design is a culmination of all her previous designs. And I'm actually really, genuinely happy with this one. I'm pretty sure this is gonna be her design going forward from here on out.

Fitting thing to end the Year of the Dragon on, huh?

Speaking of which. I got one more thing cooking for New Year's.

papyrus headcanons because i physically cant stfu about undertale YIPPIE, IM A PRISONER OF MY OWN MIND!!:

-nearsighted as hell. the man has no eyelights! explains why he does shit like mistake a human for a rock. since he can’t see well he relies heavily on his memory and hearing. that might honestly explain how he knows exactly where you are when you call him, the sounds of the environment youre in. he has undyne’s spear-blocking and asgore’s eyeglow attack patterns memorized but struggles with more random barrages.

-was an engineer assisting gaster, sans, and alphys before gaster fell. that would explain why he’s obsessed with mechanical shit. plus the man can FLOAT. which is insanely useful if you dont want to, oh i dunno, fall to your death while working on the core? it’d be hilarious if he was the one told to build all those conveyor belts and steam vents in hotland, and now he gets super annoyed with “whoever’s idea it was to put fucking conveyor belts everywhere” lol

-has gaster blasters but NEVER fires them at someone else. i can see him using them to shield or save someone from falling, or even blasting a body of water to create steam and obscure the enemy’s vision. creative shit like that, since he loves a good brawl and wants the fight to be fair. undyne would totally try to pry the blaster’s jaws open just cuz she can, or tell papyrus to take a picture of her head in its mouth.

-rarely ever sleeps but when he does he is OUT. honk shoo. snoring at the decibel level of a fucking chainsaw. like you’d have to pull an undyne-level stunt to wake him up again. though i can also see him having nightmares about the past and timeline deja vu.

-looks uncannily similar to gaster. there’s distinctions sure like the lab coat, hand holes, eye scars, but their bone structures are near identical. people are always telling him he looks…strangely familiar. oOoOoOoOhHhH.

Here are designs for mud sib nightmare and horror! I may or may not also finish the designs for killer and dust(probably not TvT) but I'm almost certainly never going to draw these two again because I don't have to patience to copy or simplify these overly complicated and detailed color patterns 😔

I had fun drawing them the first time tho and it was fun playing around with the colors! I love mudwing colors so much because there are SO many types of brown and orange and red you can use! I made horror more red/orange and nightmare more pink/purple! also I am in love with mudwing scale patterns <3333

For those who don't know, this is a type of dragon called mudwings who as the name might suggest, live mostly in swamps and really like mud. The reason I made a whole AU where the bad sanses are mudwing siblings is because I think it is way to adorable not to do.

Mudwings usually live in groups of siblings where instead of being raised by their parents, they only rely on each other to learn how to survive. The first of the siblings to hatch is designated leader and caretaker of the group and is know as the bigwings! The thought occurred that it would be really heckin adorable if the bad sanses where all mudwing siblings and nightmare was their bigwings and from there I was like well then how did nightmare lose his eye? How was horror injured? And from there it spiralled out into a whole plot for a war between six of the dragon tribes that involves animus magic nonsense and some very scary rainwings. In this au Dream is a rainwing, ink is a sandwing animus, blue is a seawing and error is a nightwing animus. There's also a seawing undyne running around with animus enchanted spears.

oh my gosh its Flandyne!... erm...Undyan! erm... Flundyne Scarfish!!!???.... Fuandyne the U.N dying? ...uhhhhhhhh- Anyway, don't know if anyone else did this but I got the idea to do a follow up to that last ZUN X Toby pic I did with a phase 2 of that potential AU fight where Flandre and Undyne are somehow friends (roll with it) so now in phase two, after they're defeated, they amalgamate together and push through with enough determination to fuse into this! I tried to mix even aspects of Undyne into Flandre to make the fusion as appealing character design wise as possible and I'm hoping I did a good job, also any colored parts are supposed to be glowing cuz I thought It'd be cool to mix Undyne's Glowy spears with Flans clock hand spear thing I'm not even gonna bother to pretend I remember the name of lol :')

 "Undyne...My sister...The underground...and gensokyo...they're all counting on me to protect them, so if you think we're going down without a fight...then you've got another thing coming..."

First Day, Previous Day, & Next Day.

Day 16: Competition

"Humans... Prepare to die!"

A monster you'd never seen before stood in the doorway brandishing a glowing red spear. She was almost as tall as Papyrus and appeared to be some sort of aquatic monster if the gills along her neck, frilled ears, and webbed fingers were anything to go by. Her skin was a deep blue and seemed to be made up of scales with a couple of red stripes along her more aquatic features. She had firey red hair that was tied up in a high ponytail, and her one good eye was a piercing yellow that reminded you of a cat's, while her left eye was covered with an eye patch. She also had sharp teeth and her nails were rather pointy, having also been painted a dark red.

She was wearing a black parka, a pair of thick gloves, and fluffy earmuffs. You couldn't see what she was all wearing underneath the winter gear, but her black ripped jeans and red boots almost seemed similar to Papyrus' guard uniform. Was she another member of the Royal Guard then?

There wasn't any time to question this situation further though, because she legitimately wanted you and Frisk dead. You weren't entirely sure how she'd gotten inside anyways as the brothers usually kept the door locked.

While you knew that Frisk could just reset if this situation turned out badly, you still weren't willing to rely on that power. So, you went to put yourself between them and the intruder but Frisk stopped you.

They tugged on your sleeve before touching their thumb and pinky finger together. "Six."

Your eyes widened as the realization that this had happened several times already dawned on you. Slowly, you edged away from the fish lady as your mind scrambled to come up with some way to get out of this situation.

Frisk stayed behind you and their eyes were narrowed as they scanned the intruder, looking for any weakness that could be exploited. So far, they seemed just as stumped as you were but they were also stubbornly refusing to give up. There had to be a way to defuse this situation like you had all the other ones before now.

The angry fish monster advanced on you and slowly raised her spear but before she could throw her weapon, Sans teleported into the living room. His eye sockets were blank, something you didn't even know he could do, and he looked pretty shaken up.

That quickly changed though when he saw what was going on. His gaze flicked from you and Frisk to the fish lady, who seemed surprised to see him. Sans didn't hesitate further and his crimson magic blazed to life as his left eyelight returned to it's socket.

"undyne," he growled under his breath. You got the impression he'd gone from worry to being enraged in less than a split second.

"Sans," she snarled and the corners of her sadistic smile fell slightly. "What is the meaning of this? Why are these humans still alive?!"

"that's none of your concern, i have my reasons."

Undyne lowered her spear and fixed Sans with a critical look. "Really? Them?" She pointed at both you and Frisk as she spoke. "You picked now of all times to do your job?"

Sans slipped his hands into the pockets of his hoodie, which was slightly perplexing to you. While his tense posture spoke otherwise, was he really so confident that he could win this encounter? Or was he just attempting to assert his dominance in this situation?

"you wouldn't get it but all you need to know is that i have judged them. there's nothin' you can do to change my decision," he answered.

Undyne ran a hand over her face before pinching the bridge of her nose. "I don't believe this...." she groaned. "Just because you happened to...take pity on the enemy, doesn't mean you can just use your position to deliberately disregard Royal Decree. I ought to arrest both of you for treason and take these human's souls to Asgore."

Sans stiffened slightly at the reference to his brother and his magic seemed to burn brighter for a moment. "then you'll die tryin'..." he growled but made no immediate move to attack.

"You Are Completely Outmatched Against Both Of Us."

Your heart skipped a beat when you heard Papyrus' voice. Glancing up, you spotted him at the top of the stairs, although he certainly looked angrier than you'd ever seen him. He wasn't wearing his armour right now but frankly, he didn't need it to cut an intimidating figure that would put the fear of death in anyone.

Undyne snarled and raised her spear again, although she pointed it in his direction this time. "You! I should've known this was why you'd been acting like a complete pansy these past few weeks. Protecting the enemy...what do you have to say for yourself, huh Papyrus?"

Papyrus glared at her and despite the way she was threatening him with her weapon, he deliberately descended the steps while maintaining eye contact. "I Have Nothing To Say To You About This," he stated.

Seeing as Undyne's attention was on the brothers rather than you or Frisk, you silently moved into the kitchen. While you were confident things would be okay, now that both brothers were involved, you really hoped there was a way to peacefully resolve this situation.

Frisk tugged at your sleeve, drawing your attention back to them. "I don't know what changed yet but neither of them showed up all the other times," they signed.

You frowned but didn't have an answer to that. To remain quiet, you signed back rather than speak like you usually did. "I don't want them to fight if we can help it. Did you have any ideas yet?"

Frisk frowned and tapped their chin thoughtfully. "I'm not certain yet but she seems like a competitive person; like even more than Papyrus or Sans are."

You hummed softly, "That could be worth exploring. Maybe we can challenge her to a contest? I don't know anything about her though so it's a bit of a long shot."

Frisk nodded seriously. "Yes, and anything involving strength is a no go for you."

You let out a hiss of indignation and quickly shot back. "Watch your tongue, you rascal! I am plenty strong!"

Frisk laughed silently, "You said tongue!" They grew more serious though and added, "I wasn't really joking though. She seems really strong."

You sighed, "Sorry... You're right though, I definitely can't take her."

The argument in the living room hadn't let up yet and while part of you had hoped that Sans or Papyrus would be able to defuse things, you knew better. You wouldn't say it aloud, but they both had awful conflict resolution skills and it looked like Undyne was just as bad.

Turning to Frisk, you signed, "I'm going to try something, so apologies in advance if this becomes number seven."

Frisk nodded and a glimmer of Determination crossed their expression. "You got this! I believe in you!"

You grinned and shot them a pair of finger guns. Normally, you would've made a quip about only living once, but uh...that wasn't exactly true as it turns out. Turning your attention back to the living room, you stepped just over the threshold and took a moment to observe how things were going.

For the most part, both brothers were remaining calm and collected while Undyne was the one doing most of the yelling. You felt a small tinge of pride as you didn't think either Sans or Papyrus were capable of having a constructive argument, but they were keeping things from escalating into a full blown fight somehow.

Clearing your throat slightly to get their attention, which worked fair better than you anticipated as everyone immediately turned to look at you. Undyne's expression was still full of rage and while both brothers still looked rather cross, Papyrus seemed to become visibly concerned for a moment.

Steeling yourself for what would likely be yet another awkward encounter, you took a deep breath before speaking. "We never got properly acquainted, Undyne, was it? My name is Rihanna." You paused for a moment before adding, "I do wish we could've met under more pleasant circumstances, but maybe we could change that?"

Undyne grimaced, "Yeah no. I don't care who you are and I don't want to be your friend...or whatever these idiots are to you." She narrowed her eye at you in such a way that made you feel like she was looking through you.

You stared back at her, not being willing to let her have the satisfaction of intimidating you. "Fine, I wasn't expecting to be friends anyways. Any chance we can talk this out? Or come to some sort of agreement somehow?"

Papyrus sighed and ran a hand over his face. He made his way over to you and put a hand on your shoulder. "I Know You Are Trying But You Should Not Waste Your Time."

"Still, I want to try, is that so bad?" you asked and moved slightly closer to him. You didn't touch him though and mostly just wanted to stick closer for protection.

"What about some sort of contest? We could compete over something you're interested in?" you asked Undyne again.

"Hell no, stop asking because I don't care," Undyne hissed. She glanced at Sans then back to you and Papyrus. "I've seen enough. Come quietly and your sentencing will be easier. As for you," she pointed the tip of her spear in your direction, "I'm bringing both your souls to the King so Monsters can finally be free."

You noticed Papyrus' jaw clench slightly and caught Sans glancing at him in a questioning way. Because you were standing right next to him, you could feel his magic spike slightly, even as he let go of your shoulder and fully turned to face Undyne.

"Wait!" you cried, realizing they were planning to fight right now. Once again, everyone turned to look at you and it wasn't any less awkward the second time. "Don't fight each other! There's no point!"

You hesitated for a moment before deciding just to play what might as well be your trump card. You looked Undyne in the eye again and squared your shoulders.

"There's no point, because you can't kill either of us. We won't stay dead, no matter what, we have always come back. Think what you want, but both Sans and Papyrus have tried to kill us, multiple times even. They failed because we wouldn't stay dead, so even if you killed us, it wouldn't matter because we'll just come back."

The room was silent. You couldn't see Papyrus' expression, because he was facing away from you, but Sans seemed stunned. Undyne, on the other hand, looked like she didn't believe you and she narrowed her eye suspiciously.

"In fact, you've already killed us six times now, Undyne," you added. While you knew most of what you'd said was true, you were still lying by omission as only Frisk could reset, while you didn't seem able to do so. Still, you were hoping the futility of this situation would be enough to dissuade Undyne.

It seemed that Sans was the first to recover from the shock. He sighed and ran his hand over his face. "well then, if we're just comin' out with it..." he muttered. Turning to Undyne, he said, "there's the reason then, can't exactly take their souls if they mess with time, huh?"

Undyne still didn't seem convinced although she lowered the tip of her spear slightly. "That's impossible..." she muttered. "No human has ever been able to do that before you two. How do I know you're not lying, huh?"

"And how do you know if this is the first time we've had this conversation?" you pressed. "Doesn't this whole interaction feel...familiar? Like a sense of deja vu you can't explain?"

Undyne hesitated. The tension was thick in the air as she studied you critically. You could've heard a pin drop if it wasn't for the hammering of your heart.

"I don't like this..." Undyne took a step back, the spear dematerializing from her hand as she did so. "I'm going to have to consult Alphys about this whole time travel thing."

She moved towards the door but paused and pointed an accusatory finger at you. "This isn't over, human. All of you are on thin ice and if I find out you were lying, I'll report you all to King Asgore directly."

"good luck with that," Sans retorted. " 'sides, al isn't exactly an expert on time travel, that was more the previous guy's schtick."

Undyne huffed, "Don't think you're off the hook either. I'll be keeping a much closer eye on all of you from now on." With that, she turned and marched out the door.

No one said a thing for several minutes afterwards, just in case she came back. You suddenly felt rather lightheaded and sank down onto the couch as the adrenaline began to wear off. Frisk came out of the kitchen and curled up next to you. They rested their head in your lap and you absentmindedly stroked their scalp in a comforting way.

You broke the silence first with a soft chuckle. "I'm not a gambler, but right now I feel like I could win the lottery."

"How Much Of That Was True?" Papyrus asked quietly.

Sans nodded slowly and moved around the couch to stand in front of you. "i knew you were crazy before, but you are so lucky that worked..." he muttered. "you have quite a bit of explainin' to do."

"Yeah, of course." You paused for a moment, trying to figure out where would be best to begin. "Everything I said was true, however I may have left out or slightly exaggerated some things."

You glanced down at Frisk and asked, "Is it alright if I tell them the truth?"

Frisk shrugged and sat up. They glanced between the brothers before nodding, "I trust them."

"Well then, the truth is that only Frisk is able to time travel like that. They remember what happened in previous timelines and whenever one of us died, they would reset to a safe point so we could try again. I don't remember any of these previous resets and I just know what Frisk has told me."

"Then We Really Did Try To Kill You Before." Papyrus' expression was a mix of hurt and horror which nearly broke your heart.

"Yes, however neither of us kept track and besides, we aren't upset with either of you." You sighed, "I am sorry you both had to find out this way. I don't like the whole reset thing either but we wouldn't have made it out of the Ruins otherwise."

Sans sighed, "i guess this explains that deja vu i kept gettin'. i nearly thought i was going crazy..."

You grimaced at that. "Again, I'm really sorry about that...about all of this too. I didn't mean to hurt either of you..."

Papyrus caught you by surprise by pulling you into a fierce hug. His claws dug into your back slightly and your arms were basically pinned, but you didn't protest.

"It Is Alright, I Am Not Mad At Either Of You," he murmured quietly. "I Am Just Happy You Are Safe."

Fun Facts about Amber Mayhem (Fun Facts with OC's Series)

Now Amber isn't really a main character, but she's super related to Emma, Eric, and Code so she's getting her own post now lol

Amber was almost a scrapped character, before I brought her back (I abandoned her for a year sorry my old queen)

Amber is dead! YIPPEE (Death via natural causes... with dementia)

Amber is absolutely in love with Chaos, and was so before she knew of her whole dementia thing

I have no idea how I ended up with the name Amber. Her name was Mayhem for a good like 3 years, and then I changed it because who the HELL names their kid MAYHEM?! (Then again, her brother is named GUYIL.)

Oh yeah, Amber has a younger brother, Guyil Mayhem, who is a mega genies who attempts to find cures for diseases and viruses (The main one being dementia. He fails if you can't tell)

Remember those Designed to Dies I was talking about earlier in like Code's post or something, YEAH AMBER IS ONE OF THEM. So she's doomed to die by dementia in literally every single dimension and story Code or any of the Gods of the New World make up. Poor Amber

Because of this, DTD's get their memories of past times, so Amber remembers only the best of memories, like her brother dying from overworking himself to a point where a virus could just kill him, (If you can't tell, Guyil doesn't take care of himself like ever.) and her for her other friends, Conner, the president of the Last Human City got assassinated in front of her and Ali ended her own life after Conner and Guyil died right before the City was bombed. Yeah, that's all fun to remember (Even more fun when Amber knows she's on borrowed time and will soon forgot ALL OF THAT)

Another thing with her memories is that she gets them back after she dies, you know, when she can't do anything but watch

Amber manage to change the fates of her brother and Conner, thank god, mainly thanks to her memories (Though a few months after that she got pretty much locked in a dementia home due to her condition just not getting any better, aka it got so much worse)

Before Amber got diagnosed, she worked at said dementia home

So you may wonder what the hell does Amber have to do with the story if she's dead already? Well, guess who's curious about how humans work??? Yeah, Code drags Amber over to her 'house' and the two watch the story unfold

Amber gets along with Code just as well as Code gets along with her, aka, she likes Code but she's not letting her guard down

Yeah Arti is my favorite because of 2 reasons: she reminds me of my other fav character (Undyne Undertale) and, well, ANGST

Yeah, the more angst the character has in their story, the bigger chance that they have to become my favorite

OH AND HEY, WANNA FUNNY THING? So, like, revenge theme was always, like, my thing. I wrote a THREE fanfics in HTTYD fandom with this theme. The first one was Hiccup killing people for Toothless' death, then vise versa, then (really funny) they both killed for each other, thinking that the other was dead. Fun thing that Toothless' style of revenge was similar to Arti's. I mean, kill everyone. No you can't read them (unless you know russian)

So, you can guess that on the second place i have Hunter and Saint. Yes, both of them. Why Hunter isn't the first place? Weeell... Idk? When character dies, they just die, the end. When character loses someone they love... They get to live and suffer. Yeah. But still, being on a countdown? Angsty enough.

And Saint... Well, i like them mostly for their brainblast power. Yeah, if the character is strong and/or has some cool power i will probably also like them.

On the third place i have Spearmaster, and i should mention them because back in 2021 i thought they would be my favorite. Because that time we already knew many things about Downpour (which wasn't a thing yet, it was just More Slugcats, legendary mod). And there were like few gameplay videos and a whole stream with Spearmaster's campaign. And i remember that the person was told not to go to shoreline because of the massive spoilers (we were like WHY IS TGAT, IS IT BECAUSE MOOOON IS ALIIVEE???) (we were right lol). Instead they went to five pebbles and he ripped out the pearl from SM. And i was like OMG SO CRUEL I LOVE IT LOOK THEY'RE BLEEDING THEY'RE BLEEDING THEY HAVE FUCKING SCAR!!! and i immediately got few headcanons, that after the Wanderer (from Drought mod) failed their mission on bringing the gold pearl to Five Pebbles, SRS was mad so he took another slugcat, modified them without asking, sew a perl in them so they won't lose it and won't give it to Moon and sent to FP. And i was like OMG ANGST MM YUM YUM

And now it turned out that SRS is actually a good guy and actually cares about Spear and it's no fun ☹️ but the pearl episode is still great yum yum yum

Funny thing that about Arti we knew that she is, well, SHE, and that she fights scavs, has explody powers and cant stay underwater. And karma 1 locked. About Saint we knew that they have brain blast powers and were wondering if they gonna have it in the new version or no. Btw, i started shipping Artisaint in that time too. Like, strong, loud killer and weak quiet saint who can't even hold spears.

Here are designs for mud sib nightmare and horror! I may or may not also finish the designs for killer and dust(probably not TvT) but I’m almost certainly never going to draw these two again because I don’t have to patience to copy or simplify these overly complicated and detailed color patterns 😔

I had fun drawing them the first time tho and it was fun playing around with the colors! I love mudwing colors so much because there are SO many types of brown and orange and red you can use! I made horror more red/orange and nightmare more pink/purple! also I am in love with mudwing scale patterns <3333

For those who don’t know, this is a type of dragon called mudwings who as the name might suggest, live mostly in swamps and really like mud. The reason I made a whole AU where the bad sanses are mudwing siblings is because I think it is way to adorable not to do. Mudwings usually live in groups of siblings where instead of being raised by their parents, they only rely on each other to learn how to survive. The first of the siblings to hatch is designated leader and caretaker of the group and is know as the bigwings! The thought occurred that it would be really heckin adorable if the bad sanses where all mudwing siblings and nightmare was their bigwings and from there I was like well then how did nightmare lose his eye? How was horror injured? And from there it spiralled out into a whole plot for a war between six of the dragon tribes that involves animus magic nonsense and some very scary rainwings. In this au Dream is a rainwing, ink is a sandwing animus, blue is a seawing and error is a nightwing animus. There’s also a seawing undyne running around with animus enchanted spears.

I should be adding to my first two wof AUs not making more someone stop me please 😭

I know this defeats the point of the game, but imagine an undertale fighting game where sans is a selectable character but he still only has 1 hp (one hit KO) and half of his moves are just dropping his incredibly tiny hit box out of range of attacks while he's just standing still. The other half are him throwing hot dogs and hot cats for 1 hp damage. Fighting against him or as him would be so frustrating. He has 2 specials. The first is: he pulls out his trombone and all attacks are now just music notes. They don't do damage. The second special has him pausing the fight for a mandated break and papyrus tags in for a real special attack. Papyrus will bring the opponent to 1 hp but will never Finish Him.

Papyrus in this theoretical fighting game has actual moves that reflect his move set in game. One special is to turn the opponent blue (just cancels jumping for a set time). The other special is the annoying dog stealing papyrus' bones. This does a surprising amount of damage to the opponent. If you start a special sequence but miss up in a specific way sans will show up on screen and play the wah wah wah sound. (If the opponent is sans, he'll just do that anyways lol). Papyrus would have a taunt that's just his hero pose, cape flapping in the wind. (Sans' idle pose is him falling asleep).

There would definitely be a distracting amount of unique dialogue for a skelebro match. Papyrus in general would already have a thousand lines (plus unique options for every match up) but this would be one of the few matches sans also has a ton of quips. Usually he'd be snoring or going through like... a thesaurus of skeleton puns.

Also you can unlock different skins, half of which are just skins half of which would totally alter game play bc I don't know the meaning of scale lol. Anyways, you can unlock a Christmas sweater for example, which is just a skin OR you could unlock an AU I guess which would be basically a new character.

I think playable characters would be... frisk (a skin for chara, a skin for no mercy), flowey (unlock asriel), toriel, sans and papyrus, asgore, undyne, alphys, mtt, and muffet.... I also think it'd be fun to add the Snowdin dogs, grillby, gerson, gaster lol, though I suppose some would have less skins and alt characters than others.

The snowdin dogs would be like... almost one unit? Greater dog and lesser dog would work together with like... A attack being greater dog's heavy movements and B attack being Lesser dog's. But they move as a unit. A special would swap greater and lesser with dogamy and dogaressa who bring down their axes for a ton of damage. Doggo would get his own special or be part of the conglomerate at the beginning for a ranged attack option.

Undyne would be a classic fighting character. I think her taunt could be the whole "mimes you are going down" gesture. Her spear attacks are great for ranged to midrange but not close quarters. Her normal special would be her attack from the docks portion of the game, just summoning a ton of spears under the opponent for massive damage. Her alt special would only be available after her hp got to a specific level and it would basically just initiate undying mode: her attacks hit harder and opponent attacks hit for less than normal.

Alphys is almost entirely ranged (her cellphone shoots lightning bolts) but she has some tail and claw attacks too. Whenever she gets caught in a special by undyne or asgore she is definitely fawning with hearts in her eyes. Her own special would be "mad scientist" where she summons a giant robot to smash through the opponent. The second special would be a magical girl transformation which gives her a magic wand and a cute outfit for a damage boost. She can counter MTT's special by reflipping his switch (basically a QTE). In return Mettaton can hijack her special by stealing her wand (also a QTE, if either of them start the qte and fail they get blow back damage, but it's optional). He doesn't get any buffs, just looks cute.

Toriel and Asgore's attacks are like in game, ranged fire attacks, trident, etc. They totally have special interactions with each other though... the dialogue alone is cutting divorced parent energy. I think one of toriel's specials would change to something unique against asgore. If asgore won his winning line would be... like "does this mean we can be friends again?" Ajshskkfkfl

Frisk wouldn't have any dialogue options (mute) unless you selected the chara skin. But! They have unique interactions with every character combo. Their weapon is a stick for basic attacks. One special would be to SAVE, basically the first time it's set the health and special bars for both players is recorded. The next time the SAVE special is triggered frisk's and their opponent's stats change to what they were before (though Frisk's special is now depleted). Most characters will have a response dialogue implying de ja vu for this! The second special is dependant on opponent. For example, fighting asgore and triggering this special suppons toriel to glare (literal) daggers (fireballs) at him. Against undyne MK is summoned. This special is a combo breaker, either used to literally break a combo if frisk is getting cornered or to break an opponent's special. Frisk's specials don't cause damage but they can cancel momentum effectively.

MTT's special is 1: summoning burger pants to tag in and 2: flipping his switch.

I cannot hold this back anymore, I really need to ramble about some of the dot points I've made for Finaltale, SPECIFICALLY character classes and what they can do in battle BECAUSE HUEUHEUH I'M SO RRRAAAAAAAHHH

Toriel would be a white mage, someone who primarily uses heals and buffs, however, owning the summon of Ramuh, she can also summon eidolons..... espers.... summons.... they have many names lmao She'd also be able to disperse enemies' buffs and cast status ailments debuffs.

Sans would be a black mage purely because he doesn't have to do anything physical and he'd still probably be able to use gaster blaster-esc attacks, because holy fuck black mages in final fantasy can summon goddamn meteors, I think he can summon gaster blaster adjacent attacks too.

Also, along with sans being a black mage-esc class, Papyrus would be a knight or paladin class, and I can imagine, if you have them both in the party, Sans could buff up Papyrus' sword and make it like, a blade x magical attack sorta like what you can do in Final Fantasy 9 if you have Vivi and Steiner in the party :>

Undyne is 100% a dragoon- Dragoons use spears primarily and do attacks like jump lol They can learn other skills I believe? I don't really remember, I only had one Dragoon in my party once and all I made him do was jump attack pfft

Napstablook (because I can imagine them being a party member in this AU), would be a blue mage. I think it's funny that blue mage specifically suits them bc y'know the saying "don't be so blue" or something.... yeah...... anyways PFFT blue mages learn spells from enemies, I can imagine they'd use a spell called "posses" which causes them to be able to go into an enemy and learn their skills that way :> You'd probably have to weaken the enemy enough like how you learn blue mage skills in FF9

Alphys would probably be a Machinist class, usually they use guns pfft but going off of the abilities of the character, Edgar from FF6, she'd have abilities similar to him instead. Tho, it is a funny thought she'd be able to wield a gun IUJSDGFSDHHJ Edgars abilities that Alphys would adopt would consist of: Auto-Crossbow, Bioblaster, Circular Saw, Noiseblaster, and Drillbreaker (best to search em up), but she can maybe wield an axe or something too for the fun of it. OH I MEAN Circular Saw is a chainsaw so that can be her main weapon MYEHEH

Mettaton is... probably the hardest to categorise right now, but I think dancer class (bc I suddenly remembered it existed lol), may be good >:3 Looking into it more, dancers use a mix of white mage abilities and thief abilities. Able to wield similar magic to Toriel, he'd be able to wield daggers aswell NYEHEH

Frisk is also a hard one to categorise. I'm leaning on freelancer, which isn't a sorta class? It's like, the default until you learn other classes through the game. They can, however, late game learn more potent skills and are able to equip like, anything, so I think that's best for them, given that they actually do equipt any weapon or armour through undertale. They could've been a dragoon bc of being bahamut related but we already got one AAAA

I'm not sure for Asgore. Leaning to Dragoon aswell, mostly bc he trains Undyne and also uses a spear. Maybe a dragoon and dark knight given his Odin form HMM 🤔

How strong are your skeleton's bones? How much would it take for them to break one? Has any of them already break one?

Undertale Sans - Despite his low HP, he's pretty average. His bones are as solid as those of a human. He broke a few during his teenage years because he was quite reckless, mainly in his arms. But never a big big fracture. He has a beginning of scoliosis though, that guy is definitely never sitting straight.

Undertale Papyrus - Despite having phenomenal strength, Papyrus' bones are quite fragile. It's mainly because of his growth during his teenage years, and the long size of his spine. It's actually pretty thin and he got a few scares growing up every time he fell badly on his back. He only broke his ankle once, after Undyne accidentally sent a spear through it while they were playfighting. She felt terrible and he used this to force her to do things he really wants to do when she's getting too stubborn.

Underswap Sans - He has bones of steel, quite literally. He can break rocks by crushing them against some of his bones. He never broke a bone and his hard training since he was a teenager definitely helped making them strong.

Underswap Papyrus - Honey always struggled to coordinate his bones since he was a kid, and that resulted in a lot, a lot, A LOT of fractures. Sometimes several at the same time, but not done at the same moment lol. His bones are fragile because of how many times he broke them. Arms, legs, pelvis, ribs... He pretty much broke everything at least once and still has a few scars as a memory of them. He almost broke his skull once by falling off the bridge of Snowdin which was actually not a bridge but a cliff Blue painted to look like a bridge to make a human fall the cliff :D

Underfell Sans - His bones are quite thick and very hard to break. His body kinda adapted to the horrible conditions he was living in. He still has a lot of broken bones in his life, mainly from stronger monsters trying to kill him, and he has a lot of scars. He actually misses two ribs as well near his soul because a monster ripped them off to try and grab it. Red hates people touching him near that area as that's a big weak spot he's scared people can find out. Like Sans, he has a beginning of scoliosis too, and it's even worse because even standing up, Red is not standing straight lol. Edge usually kicks him in the pelvis every time he catches him standing the wrong way but Edge is not here every hour of his life so who cares.

Underfell Papyrus - Edge has thick bones as well and can take a lot of hits, that's why he's mainly a soldier who fights hand-to-hand, unlike Undyne who is better at fighting at close distance. That's why they're so complementary even though they hate it. He broke a few here and there, but that idiot never told anyone so they kinda heal on their own. Some of his bones are not very straight, others have really bad scars, including his face, but that's fine. He's still not telling if he's breaking something on the Surface by the way.

Horrortale Sans - Oak's bones are extremely fragile. Unlike his brother, he never ate human meat and so he took the 14 years of famine in the face. Added to that, he lacks the ability to feel pain, so when he injures himself, he usually doesn't notice right away. The list of fractures is quite long, starting with his head, obviously, but also his ribs. Undyne forced him still by throwing spears in his ribs, and he broke some in the panic, as he was convulsing on the floor after she exploded his face. He misses a good 20% of his ribcage, that dusted. He also has only four fingers on the right hand, because the fifth one got stuck into one of his brother's bear traps, oopsie. He broke his arms and legs multiple times since to the point that Toriel actually put health reinforcement spells on his legs and arms lol because she was tired of fixing them.

Horrortale Papyrus - Willow's bones are very fragile as well, both because of his growth as a kid and the famine, but he's recovering well. All of his spine is badly damaged because of his last fight against Undyne, where he tanked most of the attacks. He has to be very careful and follow all the doctor's recommendations as if he receives another powerful hit, they warn him he might end up paralyzed for life. His pelvis broke in several pieces as well and it didn't heal properly, which is why he's limping a little and uses a stick to walk.

Swapfell Sans - He has really thin bones, but he compensates by being extremely good at dodging and attacking straight in the weak spots of his opponents. Nox was refused several times in the Royal Guard because they judged him too weak, but that didn't stop him from killing all of them to earn his place. He never broke anything, and he's imposing himself long daily sessions of exercise to avoid any injury. He's at the top of his form. He looks weak but he is really not. No one can land a hit on him, he specialized in dodging to be sure it never happens. At least he hopes it will never happen...

Swapfell Papyrus - He has pretty average bones, despite being a walking disaster. That's actually quite a miracle he's still alive since he broke everything at least one, spine and skull included, but somehow always had enough luck to recover without any consequence. Most of these injuries are either because he was too drunk Underground or doing stupid things. It's not his fault, he doesn't know how to not put himself in danger.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He has bones of steel as well. You can headbutt him at full force and knock yourself out without him even flinching. Wine is scarily strong, no one is really sure if he's bluffing on his abilities or not. He's terrifyingly fast, super strong and it's hard to see him struggling in any fight. He broke a few bones in his childhood fighting random monsters in the streets, but that never stopped him.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - Coffee looks like a weak monster to everyone who ever met him, so it's easy to think his bones are fragile. He has actually bones of steel as well and a scary strength. He's just not using it because he doesn't feel like it and has no self confidence whatsoever. But yes. Sweet Coffee can tear a human in half if he really wants to. Why do you think Wine is so frustrated about his wasted potential?

Some bonuses with the rest of the Horror brothers because why not:

Horrorswap Sans - His bones are weaker after the famine, but he still has extremely strong bones. He suffered a lot of injuries during the famine, as not all humans were actually happy to get killed by him and fought back. He may have lost a leg in his fight against Alphys, but he manages pretty fine without it. He adapted his prosthetic leg really fast and he is barely limping, it's hard to tell he has only one leg.

Horrorswap Papyrus - Obviously, both the famine and the torture Alphys inflicted on him didn't help with his already fragile bones. Pumpkin has huge problems with his bones, as some of them are so damaged they're slowly dusting. He has a ton of fractures that didn't heal properly, and so most of his bones are in weird angles, with bumps and old broken parts sticking out in some places. The doctors also had to break again several too damaged bones to assure him of a better quality of life later. There's obviously the irredeemable damage caused by the loss of his inferior jaws added to that, which makes eating very difficult and he lost his ability to talk. He has days where he's in so much pain he can't walk, but it's getting rarer. He still has to walk with a stick, and he can't do a lot of things, like climbing stairs or hopping over surfaces taller than his knees.

Horrorfell Sans - He still has thick bones and got out of the famine with not that much injuries. His body already adapted to extreme survival, and there was already famine in Underfell way before the CORE crashed so he was ready. Sure, he lost an arm in the last battle, and he's still very salty about it, but that's fine. Who needs two arms anyway, that's so overrated. He keeps inventing stories of how he lost his arm. He doesn't want to tell his kids that Undyne cut it in the first 10 seconds of the battle and then he hid behind a wall for the rest of the fight cheering his brother lmao.

Horrorfell Papyrus - Chief still has thick bones, but he's not using them that much anymore. Undyne almost fully sectioned his spine and without Grillby's quick thinking and powerful healing spell, he would have probably died. That's still a miracle he has legs actually. Yes, they're not moving, but at least he still has them. The doctors are hopeful he will be able to walk again someday, so he tries his best to keep his spirit up.
