Hah! I was wondering if people were trying to figure them all out. Some are considerably more famous than others.

These are Haven and White Collar. I didn't watch either to the end and have no regrets about that, just saying. There's plenty of good fic though.

This is the venerable Highlander, baby's first OT3 for many a 90s slash fan.

The Book of Life and Singin' in the Rain.

This is the extremely underrated Man from U.N.C.L.E. film. It came out at the same time as Straight Outta Compton, alas.

Some oldschool show fans whined that it was nothing like the show, but they are wrongity wrong wrong and have forgotten season 1, particularly Marion Raven and Gervaise Ravel, upon whom the love interest and the villainess are based. (And yes, I absolutely ship show Illya/Napoleon/Marion.)

There was a nice little fic fandom for a year or two, but it withered in the absence of any sequels. The show is more of a m/m juggernaut with the very occasional foray into the main dudes having a one-off threesome with some lady. Show Illya is pretty iconic and very different from movie Illya though, so I understand that disappointment.

Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty and Mysterious Lotus Casebook. These are historical mystery and wuxia mystery respectively. The former has a more satisfying series end than the latter, but I liked both endings all right. (Look, with c-dramas, that's always my first question: Did everyone die and/or everything get left hanging in a way that will make me throw things?)

The Two Faces of January might as well be called Daddy Issues: The Movie and has allll kinds of badwrong vibes. It's not a happy story. I'm not sure Patricia Highsmith knew what happiness even looked like. But boy is it delicious! The scenery is gorgeous too.

And that last one is Les Spécialistes, a film I only discovered from a fan bitching about how it was the OT3iest thing ever but nobody remembered that it existed. It's a silly French heist movie from the 80s with some identity porn and twists.

Other people added Leverage, most notorious of OT3 fandoms, three of the side dudes from The Untamed, Arthurian legend, and Girl Genius.

Just for fun, here are my rapid fire rambling thoughts on the ATLA ships and platonic dynamics hehe (please don’t go full ship wars tho - these are just my opinions as a chill multishipper!)

My Favorite Ships:

• Zukka - My current brainrot and main ship!! I know they aren’t canon but I really love them and their potential okay😭I just feel like their personalities would work so well! Sokka would call Zuko on his shit and Zuko would be good at grounding Sokka when he needs it. Plus I have seen some absolutely breathtaking AUs with this ship! And fire-and-ice vibes except gay! Them <3

• Kataang - Cutiessss!! I love them! They may not be the ship I think about most often, but when I do think about them, they’re adorable! Aang is such a “my wife” guy and Katara absolutely adores him back! Also the last airbender x last southern waterbender dynamic goes HARD! I like that these two are canon!

• Yuetara - Listen I know they barely interacted but THEY’VE ACTUALLY GROWN ON ME SO MUCH LATELY AND I VERY HIGH KEY SHIP THEM! Something about like, Katara thinking about Yue when she bends is so😭Their story would be heartbreaking in the best way!! Sapphic noncanon blorbos <3

• Mailee - These two are SO cute and have so much potential rahhh!! Again, love some noncanon sapphics <3

• Batkoda - Super SUPER cute and silly and fun! The dads fr <3 Bato is either Katara and Sokka’s adopted uncle or their stepdad and I love it for them hehe! This usually pairs well with a “Hakoda adopts Zuko” AU lmao!

Other Canon/Relatively Popular Ships:

• Zutara - A good ship! I see the potential and tbh it’s very very fun to think about sometimes!!! However, some of y’all toxic Zutara stans need to leave my boy Aang alone lmao. Those who are chill tho, I rock with y’all!! Overall, I’m not opposed if it’s done well and I do sometimes seek out Zutara content! I personally do prefer writing them as found siblings tho, especially with the Azula and Katara parallels!!

• Sukka - Canon cuties!! I really like them! Suki my BELOVED <3 She’s so underrated!

• Yukka - Also canon cuties! They make me sad tho ahhhhh😭😭😭

• Maiko - Also ALSO canon cuties!! They have an interesting dynamic that I can really appreciate! And gotta love Mai <3

• Jinko - Jin my beloved! These two had a super cute dynamic during the one episode they had together lmaoooo, tho I don’t think about this ship too too often.

• Tokka - I don’t mind it if it’s them getting together as adults! But tbh I personally don’t prefer shipping them as teens and I think Toph’s crush was just a typical young girl crush on someone slightly older lol. Definitely not horrible and most Tokka shippers are relatively chill! I like to think Sokka sees Toph as a little sister tho.

Now For Some Of The Crackship-y/Less Popular Ships (based on ships I’ve actually seen):

• Zukki (Zuko/Sokka/Suki) - Power throuple fr and I love some polyamory!! While I mostly lean plain Zukka, this is extremely fun to think about and would be a great dynamic!

• Mai/Ty Lee/Suki - Saw this in a Zukka fic once and it was adorableeeeee! I may not have plans to actively write this or anything, but it’s cute! Another power throuple!

• Jetko - I don’t think they would be compatible long term, but by god they are very very fun to think about in a “Jet flirts with Zuko and Zuko is completely oblivious and they share one kiss before everything goes to shit” way lmao!

• Taang - I can respect it!! I will always love them as chaos siblings personally, but it’s a totally valid and chill ship!

• Katoph - Not a bad ship at all! I’ve only come across like one post tho lmao. Also I do think I heavily prefer them as found sisters, but that’s just me personally! Again, totally a valid and chill ship!

• Azutara - I’m very neutral on this lmao. I don’t despise it at all and it could be pretty interesting?? But tbh really not something I plan to seek out.

• Azulaang - I mean?? I’m also pretty neutral on this one. Aang would be kind to her if she was trying to get help but…idk lmao.

• Tyzula - I see the potential, but I personally think Mai and Ty Lee had a healthier and more interesting and more realistic dynamic. Just my preference tho!

(I think I just want Azula to be in therapy before I reallyyyyy ship her lmao, but NOT THE KIND OF “THERAPY” SHE WAS GIVEN IN THE COMICS)

• Zukaang - I don’t love this as a ship honestly. The canon age gap as teens is sketchy for my personal taste, tho I’ve seen people ship them in “Aang was 16 when he got frozen” AUs and that’s…better and I can get behind it a little! It would be interesting! But I think Roku being Zuko’s great-grandpa just still throws me off of this ship. I don’t have any beef with the shippers tho! I’m very “live and let live” and I have seen so much worse lol.

Can’t Forget My Fav Platonic Dynamics!

• Sokka and Aang - Two found brothers who share one idiot braincell when they interact LMAO! Love them always <3

• Sokka and Katara - The siblings ever!!

• Zuko and Aang - Enemies to found brothers!! Canon besties! I love their friendship and their parallels SO MUCH!!

• Toph and Katara - Absolutely ADORABLE as found sisters!!!! Love them!

• Zuko and Katara - I really like their development in a platonic sense and I think they’re very very fun and lovely found siblings by the end!!!! Zuko is 100% the brother that just “yeah my sister can and will whoop your ass” LMAO!

• Zuko and Toph - Also very found siblings in my head!! Only have a handful of solo interactions in canon but I DON’T CARE! I WILL FOUND FAMILY THEM ANYWAY! I’m a “Toph seeks out Zuko for sibling hugs/cuddles when she’s cold because he’s basically a space heater” truther.

• Uncle Iroh and the Gaang - Zuko needs to learn to share because that is ALL OF THEIR Uncle!!!

• Hakoda and Zuko - I thrive in this section of the fandom!! They have exactly one (1) frame together in canon, but I ADORE Dadkoda adopting Zuko! Something about it is just so wholesome and cute!!! My very very fav ATLA fics are this trope!!#LetHakodaBitchSlapOzaiAndAdoptZuko2024

• Uncle Iroh and Zuko - God they make me so ALSNDKSNXNCNSNSNXNX, y’know?

• The Gaang as a whole - Obvious I know, but I really do love them😭They all bonded sm and I adore their little family!! I eat up fanart of the Gaang cuddling like CANDY omg. And yes Suki is included in the Gaang because WHY WOULDN’T SHE BE!

Childhood me would never think I’d be somewhat shipping Optimus and Megatron but like… yeah I understand what y’all are getting at in your tumblr posts. (Fr though, their friendship was so sweet. D-16’s betrayal really did hurt. And it’s been a while since I’ve seen such a well done relationship like that in the media. They’re just two silly lads who genuinely cared about one another and yet got driven apart by vengeance.)

Every single time Bee said “Badassatron” I’m sobbing— He’s such a goober. Bumblebee was always my favorite as a kid, so I have a soft spot for him (even if Orion and D16 were my favorites in this film). “KNIFE HANDS” he’s a safety hazard. (Also him being slightly insane and making inanimate objects his friends to talk to and being self-aware that they’re fake— I AM STEVE?!)

Sentinel essentially saying “Nu-uh” to D-16 when he was rambling about his plans.

Why did they keep saying miner? 😭

Starscream is such a neeerddd per usual. Dang he’s simping for Megatron (I’m kidding y’all, I miss poking fun at the silly plane man)

Trion basically adopted these tiny 4 robots and yes it is canon 💯 (Bro shouldn’t have died, I wanted silly dad shenanigans 😭)

Orion- “Hey Darkwing, my finger can transform”. Meanwhile D16: *knocks Orion the heck out and then proceeds to get punched by Darkwing* My favorite part of the movie ngl

I am very Bumblebee core tbh. He’s just a silly little guy. A silly guy with knife hands.

Bee saying his dream was to work for the government had the theater and I howling (this was a very fun theater experience actually, loved the vibes)

The boys are just casually scared of Elita. Girlboss 💅 (Also I love that her and Arachnid had a fight. I vaguely remember them having a fight/maybe rivalry? In Transformers Prime. Speaking of which, I need to rewatch that. Its been years and I never finished it)

I’m sorry but the whole “Starscream” namesake and then D-16 damaging his vocal cords is obvious irony but still. Nice touch.

Orion’s whole arc and relationship with D-16 is sad when you pair it with how they are in other iterations. Like, the reason Orion/Optimus would’ve been a stickler for the rules and order was because he was afraid of losing someone again like he lost D-16. (I can’t remember if their backstory is the same all across the board, its been a while since I brushed up on transformers stuff)

The animation was genuinely very pretty. I love the little magic sand particles and the way Megatron’s eyes have a glow trail as specific examples.

The child in me kept kicking my legs and screaming at the references. The mask! Roll out! When D got his signature arm gun I internally lost it. And Chris Hemsworth’s voice at the end of the film was a really really good Optimus voice.

“Is it… getting closer?” Meanwhile Bee: *running away for his life* (both him and Orion running at the start of the film absolutely took me out)

You know what, the Fairly OddParents fandom has been quite tame. Let's spice things up a little bit.

Doesn't anybody else get that silly feeling when you see fanart of Peri being like a father to Dev, like... where's the rest of you 😍? Don't be shy, show us where Dale is. Or are you too scared? (I wouldn't blame you, I was too at first)

I would like to quickly apologize to the 6 people shipping Peri with Dale. I thought I was the only one but it seems like I've finally found my people. Anyways, back to the topic.

Now that you're here, I may as well show some more art of these two goobers +some silly headcanons. These are my AUed* versions of the two in my odd semi-realistic style that I completely ditch whenever I don't have the patience to draw faces (I often suck at drawing them. No wonder all my OCs are furries)

Note: him being slightly chubby and him having mobility issues are both headcanons I have shamelessly borrowed from others in the fandom. Also am I the only one who thinks Peri WOULDN'T be 6 ft tall? In the series he's like 5 apples tall, so wouldn't it make sense for him to be a bit short?

Note: there's like a bunch of lore explaining the reason why Dale looks so fucked up in my version. I scarred him for life, oopsie! But at least he has Peri now who "forces" him to go to therapy 😍. I may need to make a seperate post where I only talk about him and his past if I have the motivation.

I know a lot of you don't even know the pain of trying to convert a stylized character into a realistic style and still making them look good and kinda recognizable. I envy you who have less realistic art styles.

*And yes, I did say AU. More specifically I'm talking about the "Missionaries of Eden AU" (by me). I'm not gonna go into detail now, but basically it's a semi-biblical and more serious take on FOP, where the fairies are angels, anti-fairies are demons and pixies... I think they can stay as pixies, or maybe they're ghosts, bees? (There's a lot of things I still need to figure out) Their tasks are to work as missionaries on the planets of Eden (planets where life exists). There's a bunch of other lore (some of which I've explained on my casual/personal account on Instagram), but it's best I leave it for another time.

Btw: if you've seen me talk about a "Below the Stars AU", "Bible AU", "Ager DLC" or something else, it's all just the same thing. I just had a hard time coming up with a good name for it lol.

Also speaking of which, I have another post coming up (hopefully) where I explain my reasons for shipping Peri and Dale. It can honestly, out of context, seem like a toxic yaoi crack ship, but believe it or not but I managed to make it the opposite; plausible AND healthy. I want to enlighten you all plus I really want to yap about them.

It feels super funny to ship such a underrated ship. I'm used to shipping semi-popular ships, so to now be all alone feels kinda fun! They have so much potential and so few are seeing the vision?? Though to be fair I'm also glad it's not that famous lmao.

so I never finished Heroes of Olympus but also I never liked Percy/Annabeth in PJO (……. which makes me an outcast I know) my reasons were silly but I was like 13 when I read the first series. (something something she was too mean to MY Percy and he deserved better) ALL this is to say, I’m curious on your opinion of HoO Percy/Annabeth:

would love to hear your thoughts as to why it was better in PJO or whatever you feel like sharing!

so first off, you should definitely finish HoO !! i'm not a huge stickler for "you have to read all of the source material" (because i haven't read past the first ToA book), and HoO is really only Peak Literature if you're like 14 (not to say adults can't like it obv, i do, but when you get older you notice some glaring flaws lol). that being said, you should still finish it, it has its rises & falls. i for one have been rereading son of neptune (very very slowly) & listening along to the newest olympian podcast. but anyways

i honestly can relate to your take on being young & having a book boyfriend & feeling overprotective of him lol. when i was like 14 & first reading HoO, i felt that way with leo when calypso was treating him like absolute garbage...like that's my little guy lol

so my take on percabeth is kind of a, "like it more than i don't, not overly invested in a fandom sense, take it or leave it" on the tier list. i enjoyed their development in PJO despite the moments where annabeth did give him a bit of a hard time, etc. they had a close friendship & trusted each other & i think it developed into a nice relationship (i will say them getting together the morning after annabeth's older brother figure/childhood crush/war rival Died is some Unhinged romantic timing on Richard's part, but i get that ya gotta wrap up the book & the underwater kiss was still cute, etc).

that being said, i understand how they were seperated in HoO & circumstances were desperate, but obv the judo flip scene was just...ick. i think i saw a post somewhere that rewrote it to where she pulled her knife on him, he pulled his sword on her, the romans got freaked out & then they just kinda half-play sparred with no winner, and that helped percy gain back some of his memories, which i think was a sweet rewrite. but anyways.

in the rest of the HoO books they're just kinda...wildly codependant with no individual personalities. annabeth needs percy to save her in battle because it's not like she's been training Longer than he has, and percy needs annabeth's wisdom because Obviously he has none of his own, Right?? (someone save percy from the stupid allegations i can't do it in these conditions Richard—this is all your fault Richard & the fandom Is Not Helping—)

all in all i think Richard's just...not good at writing established relationships as opposed to build up, which is funny because he pairs so many ships off-page & then we gotta see the amalgamations for the rest of the books (someone save solangelo i can't i need a cig—)

also for the record i think perachel is underrated. i think there was a point in tlo where percy admitted in the narrative that hanging out with rachel was more carefree than hanging out with annabeth, and that's kind of the ideal you would want in a partner.

so i'll take them or not, i like fanart & cute hc's with them & having them as a background pair. i don't see myself writing anything with them unless it's like a request or something though. i ship both of them with other people more in a Fandom sense, remaining a casual fan of percabeth. i know there's a niche group in the pjo fandom that are anti-percabeth & say annabeth is abusive—i'm not gonna say that's a lie or the truth or anything, i can see where they're coming from but i can see the other side of it too.

Pairing 1: Protectshipping (Ryou Bakura/Hiroto Honda|Tristan Taylor)

Propaganda: Tristan’s so loyal and dependable, and he pays more attention to Ryo than probably any other character does, and it’s what Ryo needs after everything he’s been through. He’d listen if Ryo wants to talk about his troubles, he’d remember little random details about him, and he wouldn’t make a big deal about these things, but they’d mean so much to Ryo, and he’d let Tristan know how much he appreciates his efforts.  I also think it’s interesting how Ryo looks soft and gentle, but is also really strong and brave, while Tristan looks tough (and can be), but is more sensitive than he’d probably like to admit. A lot of Protectshipping fics are more about Tristan taking care of Ryo, which makes sense and I love it, but I think it’d go both ways - Ryo would want to be there for Tristan if he was going through a difficult time, and I like the idea of Tristan being able to confide in him, especially post-canon when the Ring’s gone and he’s doing better mentally. He might still have some trouble putting his feelings into words (as we saw in chapter 7), but Ryo would be patient with him and let him say whatever he needs to, and I think he’d give pretty good advice too.  I just think it has the potential to be a really tender, caring relationship, and they both deserve that. ^-^

Pairing 2: Snareshipping (Katsuya Jounouchi|Joey Wheeler/Ryuji Otogi|Duke Devlin)

How I feel about this character: It's Spot frickin Conlon, y'all. The legend him/herself! 92sies Spot specifically has some of the best one liners in the entire movie and I think it's really interesting that Spot Conlon is given such a larger-than-life reputation. What really makes Spot so influential? Does Spot have a 'escaped on the back of Roosevelt's carriage' story? Spot respects Jack and sees him as a brother. That's what makes Jack's betrayal so hard on Spot. (I seriously think we need more Spot and Jack sibling dynamics, come on y'all.) Spot is also a very strategic thinker and would kill you at chess. 92sies Spot reminds me of a chihuahua.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Race and Spot because 92sies Spot (kinda) canonically thinks Race is pretty. It's just silly and they are partners in crime. Plus, why are you going all the way to Sheepshead Bay every day to sell papers Race? Aren't you a Manhattan newsie? Uksies Sprace is also so special to me. [fanart!] And for your consideration: Sarah and Spot! Most underrated pairing of all time both romantically and platonically. I need more people to talk about them. [fanart!]

My non-romantic OTP for this character: SARAH AND SPOT!!! You can't tell me that Spot wouldn't love Sarah Jacobs. Spot meets Sarah at the rally and is immediately impressed by Sarah "my father and I are socialists" Jacobs and they bond to David's utter bafflement. Spot and Sarah are literally going to take over the world together guys, I'm telling you. Spot and Race is also great platonically. And then there's uksies Spot and all of her girls. I just love them all so much and they have each other's backs.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Spot Conlon and Brooklyn being girls adds so much depth to Spot as a character in the stage musical version of Newsies. I honestly don't know how Spot could be better improved upon given the musical script as it is. Long live the Brooklyn girlsies!

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: The real Spot Conlon may or may not have been a leader of the Brooklyn newsies at some point, but he was definitely from Brooklyn and he wore pink suspenders [x]. I wish that they'd kept those pink suspenders in the movie. Granted, the red suspenders are meant to distinguish leadership/power (like Jack's red bandana), but arguably his pink suspenders would have served just as well as a symbol of leadership in historical context. Give him back his pink suspenders! In the stage musical version of Newsies, I really, really, really wish they'd adapted Spot's character better. There's just so much of Spot that we lost in adaptation.

Their feud from 2021 is also pretty spectacular as it’s probably Kenny’s best feud when he was AEW champion. (Plz go watch their full gear match, it’s worth it).

Besides the fantastic matches the two of them put on with one another, I think they have 10/10 chemistry when it comes to promos and in ring. One may say they’re “wrestling soulmates”, they never miss. There isn’t much to say about them to be honest, to me they are the definition of love in a tag team. Which is what makes them so unique to begin with!! They have 10/10 chemistry and I love how they care so much for each other, the loyalty and love these two share for each other is just… fantastic. I won’t ramble on since this would be much longer if I had the time😭 but they are so amazing and AEW needs to open their eyes to call them the Golden Lovers!

Oh they are both soooooo sillyyyyyy together, Kenny trained Riho so it’s explainable why they are so close. But their mixed tag matches are SO cute and they seem to have a lot of fun together :3 which is everything to me!!! Especially when Kenny goes “RIHO GO!” And she starts beating the shit out of their opponents. We all miss Riho and I hope she comes back soon :(( but they are sooooo silly and funky!! I wanted to make a May the 4th post dedicated to my Star Wars f/os yesterday, but I gotta be honest I just did not have the energy ._. So I'm just gonna do it now though!

I never really talked much about my Star Wars f/os on here because despite having 5 of them (maybe more if you count platonics), they're all secondary f/os and I hardly find the time to dedicate art or writing to them. They still mean a lot to me though and I think they're wonderful and interesting characters, so here they are💕

First up, Grand Admiral Thrawn/Mitth'raw'nuruodo, I first got to know him properly through Rebels (I knew he had existed in the Legends universe before already but didn't particularly care about him) and not going to lie, for a while I found him really annoying. He seemed very arrogant to me and I didn't get how he could always be a step ahead of the rebels, but I learned to understand and appreciate him, and somehow I fell in love with him eventually. At the time he was probably the strongest fictional crush I ever had (this man literally made me question my asexuality at some point - I didn't know that micro-labels like grey-, demi- or fictosexual were a thing back then). I didn't know about the existence of a self ship community back then, but in my head I shipped a character that was basically myself with him (with a few changes of course, like I was 16 at the time but my s/i was obviously a grown adult, the story I had in mind for her wouldn't have made sense otherwise anyway). I also started writing character x reader fanfictions about him! I finished a few one-shots, but the only multi-chapter story I started has unfortunately been laying around abandoned for a few years. I still kind of want to write an ending for it one day, but I don't know when that will happen. I struggled with my feelings for Thrawn after some uncomfortable experience with a former acquaintance in the Star Wars community, but as this is luckily in the past and maybe I can reconnect with him some day (In the meantime I'd love to meet other Thrawn shippers who are comfortable sharing him!). Regardless of that my love for him has had a significant influence on me, because without him I would've probably never made my art instagram account (the first social media account I made aside my personal insta account that I never use) and wouldn't have met many of my wonderful online friends.

Next up, Admiral Ar'alani, she's gorgeous and at least partially responsible for my bi awakening. I mean just look at her! Due to being a book character she's probably kind of underrated and less well known, I'd love to see an animated series about her and the crew of the Steadfast! I loved her in the Thrawn trilogy, I still have to read the Ascendancy trilogy though.

Commodore Karyn Faro probably wins the price for the most underrated f/o among them (also F in the chat for her for having literally 2 canonical depictions in a comic and no other visual reference, that's why I had to choose a slightly silly picture for her). I loved reading from her perspective in the Thrawn trilogy and I always enjoyed her dynamic with him too. Despite having her as an f/o I also ship her with Ar'alani, I think they'd make a cute couple. At the moment her canonical fate is pretty much unknown (I don't think it was ever made clear whether she left the Chimaera to transfer to her own fleet before Thrawn left for Lothal or not?), but although it is unlikely I personally wish that she'd also somehow end up with the Chiss like Eli did and get a happy ending with them.

Tech was just a very relatable character for me, and I knew I'd like him pretty much from the start. I always had a weak spot for this slightly nerdy scientist type of characters (namely Kowalski from TPoM and Mr. Spock from Star Trek TOS), I just never really f/o'd any of them before since I was like 8 years old or so at the time I was obsessed with them. But oh I had so much fun watching Tech, and his quote "I may process moments and thoughts differently, but it does not mean that I feel any less than you"? That hit right in the heart especially since I could relate so much to it. Also he must still be alive, I don't accept that he's gone no matter what the canon says.

Last but not least, I think General Grievous/Qymaen jai Sheelal was actually my second proper fictional crush, but for some reason it took me until last year to properly admit to it? I don't know, apparently 13 year old me was unconsciously in denial about being a monster lover, or just somehow unaware that I could just ship myself or an oc with him and didn't have to pick one of the canon characters. He's a character I'd actually love to come back some time, it's mainly that I'm too focused on my other f/os at the moment, but I think he deserves more love (yes I know he's kind of horrible too, but I think horrible fictional guys can still be loved and cherished).

Anyway this got longer than I anticipated, but at least you have an introduction to some of my secondary f/os now I guess. Anyways I hope you all had a happy Star Wars day, and who knows, maybe some of these guys here will make an appearance on my blog again in the future <3

rengoku (the literal love of my life, the one who started it all, the main reason i got into anime, the cure to my depression at one point?? i get emotional just thinking about him sometimes. i go back and listen to the mugen train soundtrack just to hurt my own feelings)

shinobu (🦋 [can't add my blog tag for her cause it's an emoji but she has some of the prettiest fanart ever], gorgeous character design, color scheme, overall aesthetic, classy. she deserved more out of her life than being in a constant state of anger 😭)

inosuke (i have no tag for him but he is my fav from the main squad. he is chaotic as hell and caveman-ish in the most hilarious ways. his pretty face makes it that much more ironic)

nezuko (the cutest baddie ever. so pretty. protective of tanjiro and comrades. how can you not love her)

geto (oh geto (be forewarned: only depression posts in this tag). it hurt me so bad to see his descent into madness. i think his story and especially his relationship with gojo is beautifully written. the visual symbolism is also heavenly in the most melancholic way. he reminds me a lot of eren from aot. i felt his exhaustion and hopelessness from the depths of my soul. i think about rengoku when i want to be hurt in a good(ish?) way, but geto is my go-to when i'm in the mood for straight depression)

yuta (a blorbo if I've ever seen one. so precious. very sad about his current state. if gege kills him off there will be no one left 😭)

remember i am within the belief that people can interpret characters the way they want to and i respect any other interpretations even if i find them very far from canon! and i totally accept that some people will find MY interpretation as super far from canon and thats ok too!

that said i will cherish anyone who agrees with me because i find it so rare that people characterize medic the way i do in fan material

there are a couple different breeds of medic fans and i'm of the (unpopular?) opinion that hes a sadistic egotistical maniac whos managed to manipulate everyone into thinking hes charismatic- but he truly cares for no one (except his birds). and i absolutley love him for it. because this makes him incredibly interesting to play around with and examine like a little bug on my windowsill

i dont seriously mind other interpretations but man is this the real medic to me (also why i dislike ships with medic! i headcanon him as not romantically interested in anyone ever plus the characteristics he has making things incredibly toxic (the comment about his wife by demoman is either demos drunk ramblings or some poor one sided relationship or a convenience marriage)). i always strive to make things as close to canon as possible and this is just the interpetation i've gathered after examining the canon materials. i will gladly provide proof of my beliefs whenever

yes he brought sniper back to life but that's for the science! he mentioned smiling because he was happy to see sniper while sniper was already shot and bleeding out because he could smell some human experimentation coming! meaning he was happy to see sniper DYING! (or he's just flat out lying!! which he totally would do!)

hes pretty much out ONLY for himself and only works with others for the services he wouldn't have access to otherwise. he acts charismatic because people are more likely to let him do what he wants if hes pleasant. and also hes just sort of silly by nature which a lot of people find endearing

the second opinion shows both the evil zombie face and NORMAL HIM have a united desire to murder all of his friends. he doesn't because it would be inconvenient. the fact he AGREES with the second opinion but shushes it anyway shows he wants to APPEAR like he doesnt want to kill everyone which is certainly a manipulative behavior

i just love how medic has been characterized through all of the materials valve has so graciously given us and it makes him such a horrific specimen. it's so rare to see a genuinely terrible person who is also a protagonist and i feel like watering that down to make him more palatable or likeable is a tragedy. because terrible people as characters are underrated. and a character doesn't need to be "actually a good person, guys" to be a compelling and interesting character. i love absolutely screwed up self-centered uncaring wild and silly medic and i hope at least one other person out there does too.

This is going to be long, but I'm sure you expected that. I will say, some of my answers will probably be very similar to yours LMAO

First Impression:

I remember thinking their design was so cool, and immediately doing everything I could to research into the character. Sadly, I was 11, and didn't realize Tumblr would be the best place to do that so I saw some very not canon content of them on YouTube, but somehow got attached anyway.

Impression Now:

I'm still just as attached to PJ as I was when I was kid, even more so now with the knowledge of what PJ is actually like in canon. I love the little guy; he's such an angst-filled little shit. Tied with Lux in the top spot of being my favorite UTMV character.

Favorite Moment:

Struggled to answer this because there are so many good posts with him that it's hard to choose from. Ultimately, I'd probably have to choose the entire roleplay between @/7goodangel and @/cereusblue of how PJ and Omni met. It's really cute and really well written and it shows off both of their characters so well.

Idea For A Story:

There are so many I could write here, to just stick to one, any story with PJ being a parent is so awesome and cool. I want to see more of that!!! PJ being determined to raise his kid/kids better than how he was raised? That would be so cool to see. Make this guy a parent!!! He has a canon kid!!!! Include him in more stuff!!!!!

Stealing what you wrote for this because I agree wholeheartedly. I do not personally like the concept of PJ and Fresh being a couple. It makes me wildly uncomfortable. I think their dynamic works much better as friends or with Fresh taking on an uncle role! That's just my opinion though. People are free to disagree.

Favorite Relationship:

Platonic: PJ with any of his siblings tbh. Especially PJ as a big sibling. It is something I enjoy seeing very much. PJ is just so sibling coded, guys. It's like he was meant to have one. Or multiple. Trust.

Romantic: I don't want to repeat myself too much, so I'll answer for one ship I really like with PJ and put the other in Lux's answers. I adore OmniPJ. The two of them are so cute, and I am obsessed with their dynamic. Starts sobbing thinking about them. They are so!!! It's definitely my favorite canon ship within the fandom. They are insanely underrated it makes me so sad. Omni is often disregarded, which SUCKS!!!!! They should not be separated!!!!!!!!!

Favorite Headcanon:

I think my favorite PJ headcanon is that he can purr. He is so creature coded to me and I love the idea. Guy that is bad at expressing himself and his subconscious gives away how he's feeling through purring. It's a really cute concept to me.

Lux

First Impression:

I think my first impression of her was that she was pretty but not super interesting. I enjoyed her from afar. I thought it was neat to see a fairly popular girl ship kid, given how male-dominated the characters in the fandom are.

Impression Now:

My baby darling angel girl, I love her so so much. She is the moon, stars, and sun in the sky. She is everything. She's my favorite character in the UTMV fandom, and I think she is severely underrated. I would die and kill for her.

Favorite Moment:

I generally try to ignore a lot of her canon content because most of it is just silly or weird, but there is one moment I like from her original comic. I think the moment when she was a baby and fed jam to help calm her down was cute. That's like. Pretty much the only thing I can remember having a soft spot for in that comic.

Idea For A Story:

There is so much unused potential with this girlie it's insane. I could ramble about a lot here but I'll just mention one story concept I particularly enjoy. Anything with Lux becoming corrupted like Nightmare is so fun to mess with to me. The symbism and angst go crazyyyy.

Unpopular Opinion:

Repeating one of your points, but I cannot imagine Lux dating a man ever. That girl is a lesbian, and nothing you could say to me would convince me otherwise. No hate towards people who ship her with men, of course; it's just something I personally am not a fan of. As far as I'm aware she was never given a canon sexuality, so it doesn't really matter at the end of the day, but she will always be a lesbian in my eyes.

Favorite Relationship:

Platonic: I blame @/bluepr1ntyy for this, but the dynamic between her and Raven is everything to me. They have literally never interacted in any canon setting but I do not care they are canon best friends to me.

Romantic: Man. I wonder. Yeah, it's FireColor/PJ and Lux. They are. So important to me. The painter and the poet. They are eachother's muses. I just love the idea of them together so so much. They are so in love guys, trust. Also adore her with Omni. They are literally so cute. And the three of them together? That is everything to me.

Favorite Headcanon:

My favorite headcanon is that she likes baking. I really adore the idea of her making pastries for her loved ones, for events, for anything she can make an excuse to bake for. The idea is just so soft and sweet to me. It's just, ugh, I love it so much.

Ranking Duo ships from my least favorite to my favorite!

#10 MCxYuri: I think that MC and Yuri have the worst chemistry in the whole game and it kinda feels as if they don’t completely fill each other’s needs as partners. I like them more when the rest of the club are involved bcs they aren’t an exclusive thing and they still fill some of each other’s needs, but the rest are filled by the other dokis.

#9 MCxMonika: MC ships are really hit or miss for me (as you’ll later see), but like in most scenarios I don’t really like this ship. Mid-game Aware Monika x unaware MC kinda just feels forced, same if MC is aware as well or is the only one aware. The only reason that I could think that type of situation would work is if Monika is just coping and going for the next best thing apart from the player, but even then I think another ship does it better. Meanwhile unaware MC x unaware Monika would just be plane old boring. BUT there is one situation where I think Monika x MC works for me, post-game and they’re both aware, mostly thanks because of the “The things she does for love” fic.

#8 Monsuki: Now we’re getting to some ships I actually like, revealing that the main reason I wanted to do this ranking is to yap about how much I love these ships. I’d say that Monsuki is my least favorite of the ships I actually really love because I think it would kinda lack a lot of the angst/drama/comfort the other ships can offer. Anyways I do think that they’d make the silliest couple out of any of these, mostly because of Monika’s Faux confidence and flirty nature would bring out the most tsundere out of Natsuki, both the Tsun and the Dere.

#7 Natsuri: I’m not the biggest Natsuri fan (or maybe it’s just me being a contrarian lol), but I can very well see how they just work as a ship, mostly because they’re extremely similar yet complete opposites and seeing them discover just how similar they are to each other is just so awesome? I don’t know any other word to describe it. Also short feisty lesbian x tall calm and anxious lesbian is a tale as old as time.

#6 Sayuri: Sayori and Yuri would just make a great couple, Sayori being silly and flirty and Yuri just constantly being flustered. Meanwhile they both comprehend really well they’re feelings of self-doubt and self-hatred and would comfort each other really well when push comes to shove. IT’S JUST SO CUUUTEEEE!!!

#5 Yurika: Toxic or evil duo Yurika can be really fun, but like I think they’re both just a really underrated ship cuz like they’re both pretty mature for their age or at least act more mature than the rest, so I dunno there’s something in that which calls to me. Plus Confident power sub Monika works really with Yuri being shy but intense in a way I cannot describe.

#4 Sayosuki: Sayori and Natsuki have my favorite dynamic from the base game (I haven’t played nor seen the side stories lol), they’re just silly, and I think that them being silly and cute together really just makes me happy. + imagine all of the hurt/confort (my favorite tag).

#3 MCxNatsuki: As I said, I love Hurt/Comfort and I think that MC x Natsuki really shines in that department. It’s possibly because in all the ddlc mods I’ve seen, when Natsuki x MC is the main couple, it really makes Natsuki shine a lot, for a bunch of reasons (Natsuki being a interesting yet easy to dissect character, the whole softening up that Tsundere lovers absolutely eat up, the angst and then the comfort that comes with it, the fact that MC doesn’t really face much personal problems , so Natsuki’s problems are in the limelight, etc.). But also because they’re probably one of the most probable couples, cuz they’re both weebs, MC is very understanding, non-judgmental and patient with Natsuki, which is something that she needs and they just have good chemistry.

#2 Sayonika: I 👏 Like 👏 Cute 👏 and 👏Fluffy 👏 Sayonika. Yes please, gimme me more of it, but I absolutely love toxic Sayonika for some reason. And like this isn’t probably too much of a hot take in the toxic yuri website, but there’s something just so intriguing about a Monika treating Sayori like a tool for stress relief or a means to an end thinking she’s not a real person and Sayori just kinda ok with it because it’s the only way she can feel loved.

#1 MCSayo: I have a thing for childhood friends to lovers, OK!? But also they just make a very silly and very cute couple, and like, THEY’RE JUST SO CUTE TOGETHER!

Overall of I had to like rank these on a tier list (cuz why not?), I’d say that MCxYuri are a D tier, MCxMonika are a C tier, Monsuki, Natsuri, Sayuri and Yurika are all A tier and the top 4 are all S tier.
