Do you believe me if I say I spent 28 hours on this?

I wanted to test some things (like the scarf turning into flowers) and they turned out well, I think! I finished this the very morning of my week of finals 😭 At 2:30AM actually.

I chose a different kind of moths! When I saw the DTIYS, and since Zane was bleeding and moths were like... drawn to his blood, I thought "wait, I remember species who FEEDS on blood!"

And here I was, drawing vampire moths. I chose the Calyptra bicolor!

And of course, you must know the flowers: red spider lilies... linked to death. :3

Once again I wore my Beverly Crusher t-shirt to a medical appointment and once again it worked like magic that I don't even believe in because I was treated well and respectfully and they even went out of their way to set up follow-ups in the least-difficult way possible for me.

Honestly, that shirt is turning into a "the power of Crusher compels thee" sort of deal for making HCWs treat me like a real human for a change. They even mask up when requested when I wear the shirt!

And it's not just them seeing the shirt because I've had it work on phone calls too. Even my unpleasant GP does what I want him to do when I wear that shirt for phone calls.

I didn't take a picture today but here's me wearing the shirt while sitting in my rollator outside the hospital in July after another appointment. I did wear the same overmask today too.

sorjack to me is like. You never see them interact in public they’re never around each other but if you go to Jack’s room on specific nights Sorrow’s in there in just their undermask playing cards or smoking or whatever. Never in Sorrow’s room though, Sorrow doesn’t let people in there. Sorrow learns Jack’s native tongue so it can be more comfortable even though they will never be capable of speaking it. Jack blindfolds itself when Sorrow needs treatment as a sign of respect. There’s a level of trust there between them because they’re both dogs and they’ll both bite but maybe if they both just stop growling for a second you’ll find them in these moments together, but they’ll never not be tense, never not wary of each other.

(from the rasplin ask) awesome!! does your rasplin have an undermask look / maskless look or is it up for interpretation? i saw the full body and was wondering if your design had a specific face/undermask look? im so excited to start working on this especially because of the hair and mask

honestly entirely up to interpretation :0 if i never give a masked character a face its probs because im too lazy to think abt it LOL
