just finished watching monkey man and gotta say casteism definitely got the better of me
#raj shitposting#underestimated the upper class gujju#damn it was the best film i've watched in a while#i mean the last good film i watched was swatantrya veer savarkar but that was only for the script not the concept#the concept was blergh i hated it i gave up on the story entirely i just listened to the dialogue and paid attention to the cinematography#it was pure fiction and i really wish randeep hooda had bothered with a historian but that's okay we all know nothing was real#but monkey man... ooh boy this film was made FOR THE CONCEPT AND MY BABYGIRL SERVED-#hijras beating fascists to a pulp and dev patel stabbing a man to death with a knife gripped between his teeth should be commonplace#that was unhinged tbh bro like this mfing gujju and i need to have a conversation real soon like shit's straight outta my dreams#and like the ghagra choli thing they wore in that last scene... hmmm... very navratri bro did you do your vratt this year#like saras bro you got it keep up the good work also call me about that scene because what the fuck-#monkey man#film
