Uncle Scrooge McDuck Gets Marvel Comic

Marvel Comics and Disney are pairing up to release an Uncle Scrooge comic. Uncle $crooge and the Infinity Dime #1 hails from writer Jason Aaron and artists Paolo Mottura, Francesco D'Ippolito, Vitale Mangiatordi, and more. The oversized special will also re-present Carl Barks' Christmas on Bear Mountain, Scrooge's first appearance in comics.

In Uncle $crooge and the Infinity Dime #1, Uncle Scrooge is exploring "the Multiverse to stop a twisted alternate Scrooge from becoming the all-powerful and incomprehensibly rich Scrooge-Above-All! Along the way, the story will introduce exciting new takes on the iconic tycoon with a heart of gold and feature appearances by Scrooge’s nephew, Donald Duck; grandnephews, Huey, Duey, and Louie; and his supporting cast of characters, including Gyro Gearloose!" Uncle $crooge And The Infinity Dime #1 - Scrooge swims in his money - Scrooge and his Money Bin - My redraw - Duck comics - Duckverse

I drew as my redraw in my own way in my own style with a comic cover drawn by Alex Ross in which Scrooge McDuck, the richest duck in the world swims in his money which he loves the most, and it is also his greatest love. Yes, for the release of this comic (soon to be released) I drew this, and you really can't be a Scrooge McDuck fan if you don't know about his love of money and that he likes to bathe in his money most often in the Money Bin in his vault. Yes, the coins are a little bigger, but it would have been difficult if I had drawn them very small, so I enlarged them. And that I added five fingers to Scrooge. My mistake, sorry. And behind Scrooge are Donald Duck and his nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, as Scrooge's closest family in the clouds. These are just his thoughts, in reality they are alive, but they don't care about money as much as Scrooge does.

Primo fumetto americano con gli standard character (esclusi i revival da Disney Afternoon) da quando?

Ai testi Jason Aaron, che non so bene come inquadrare in ottica disneyana (devo dire che in generale l'ho perso di vista dopo la fine del suo magnifico Thor). Sarà, comunque, un one-shot e uscirà (stranamente, ma forse non così stranamente, dato il taglio che la preview sembra lasciar intendere) per la Marvel.

Ai disegni troveremo, invece dei nomi ben noti: la preview, infatti, cita Paolo Mottura, Francesco D'Ippolito, Vitale Mangiatordi (ed altri), mentre la cover A è di Lorenzo Pastrovicchio. La cover B è, invece, opera di Alex Ross.

I wonder if this will impact the Dynamite stuff? But then again, the Dynamite stuff is probably for the "unconventional" stuff like Gargoyles, while Marvel will probably get the "Prestige" characters.
