Parker was pissed needless to say, he took a nap but when he woke up Isaac was gone. Asshole.
"Tch, whatever I don't need him anyways." He grumbled, he was still tired and it was still night so what's a better time to have coffee now.
They went over to the coffee maker which miraculously was filled with nice hot coffee, he was relieved to say the least and poured himself a cup. No milk or sugar though, he likes it black.
Parker sat down on his makeshift table bed and checked his phone again. Still no signal, he forgot his charger too.
"What a pain.."
Parker looked outside and grumbled again, "can't go outside then.." he took note of the fog that started to come in as well.

*Isaac is peacefully off in dream land, when the chime of a bell startles him so abruptly he falls off the back of his bar stool.*
“OOF!.. rats that’s gonna leave a mark.”
*Rubbing his head Isaac looks back from his spot on the floor to see two people enter the diner.*
“Hey guys look! We got a couple a newbies!”

Split up and search for clues.
Arthur appreciated Isaac's exuberance, but he was a little wary about everyone wandering off on their own. He knew he'd be fine, but hopefully the others were smart enough to stick in pairs or small groups... or at least if anyone was alone, they'd run into that cat thing again, since it seemed to have met a few of them.
"Well, if we're splitting off, I might as well go see if my gear was dropped with me. Anyone wanna tag along to the spooky graveyard?"

“Helloooo?! Is anyone here??!”
*Edith stops and sighs, her arms dropping from where she’d cupped her hands to carry her voice. The fog is ridiculously thick now and she can’t see a damn thing. Forget her surroundings, Edith would be lucky to spot her own shoes in this cloud.*
Wrong way…
“Well if someone would give me directions then maybe-“
Leave…
“I’m trying!-“
Someone’s coming….
*Now that got her attention. Finally, another person in this absolute wasteland of a town. She looks this way and that, trying to squint through the mist.*

*It wandered. And its wandering brought it toward another figure in the dark and shadow.*
*Now in a human-looking form, with something akin to its own voice, it approached less cautiously.*
"Hello? Is someone there?"

Usually her job was simple. Easy. Fun, even! She got to travel the stars and see all kinds of fun things! And she got to write all about them and tell the people of the galaxy all about her trips. According to her boss, they made for great reading on the Galactic News travel section.
Fires across the hull of her ship were not among the list of fun things. She decided that, when writing about her latest trip, she would NOT mention nearly dying upon entry to "Earth".
She cursed, a series of wild and furious clicking noises emerging from her mouth. The nav-com was still on course for Earth, so at least she was in the right place.
Roughly, at least. She lacked the time to check the exact location she was warping to, and her engined were damaged pretty badly. She was trying to aim for a nice tourist spot, like the large apple city in the America up north she had heard about, or some tropical island.
Instead, she was headed for...
Somewhere? She didn't recognise the name on the computer screen and with her ship's systems failing all around her, she didn't have time to really investigate. She only had the time to maneuvere out of the way of any major population sites and tell her computer to aim for somewhere quiet.
She just hoped she could survive and find the parts to repair her ship somewhere around Uncanny Valley.

The job was simple. Maria had done plenty like it before.
She just had to get in, grab the booze and run. And if she ran into any trouble, the boss gave her permission to "handle it as she saw fit".
In her case, that usually meant knockin' everyone's lights out and driving off in whatever car she could grab. She didn't have one of her own. No licence, but she didn't need one.
She knew the streets better than anyone. Knew every building, every road, every alley. So what if she was no good with numbers or books and all that junk? She was good at her job, and that'd be enough.
Or so she thought.
It was nearing midnight when she approached the target - a small book shop - or "booke shoppe" as the sign spelled it for some reason. The drinks were being hidden in one of the shelves in the back, obscured by rows of big boring tomes of nonsense. Maria couldn't read, but she wouldn't have wanted to look at those ones even if she could.
She tensed her muscles, hearing the fabric of her suit rustle with her movements. It was always hard to get the coats in particular to hold together on these things. She went to bash in the door with her shoulder-
There was a strange
shift-
-in
the-
-world
and-
she emerged on the other side.
Her head spun. She hadn't even hit the door, had she? She shook it off. It didn't matter, she was inside.
Except, she wasn't. Not in the booke shoppe, at least. She was somewhere else. It looked...strange. Some kind of apartment, but there were a bunch of things she didn't recognise, like some big black box looking thing on the wall. She ran out and found herself in an empty hallway.
There was some kind of sliver door at the end, but she didn't trust that thing for a second. She dashed down a set of stairs and barged her way out.
She was in a street. An odd looking street, but a street was a street. It wasn't familiar, though. She turned around, hoping to identify the building she had emerged into, but there was nothing. She began to wander down the sidewalk, hoping to see some sign or landmark she recognised.
She found none.
If she was more literate, however, she might have noticed one sign in particular.

Parker continued walking around, becoming more and more annoyed seeing the lack of life around. No people, no crypids, nothing.
And it doesn't help he's tired beyond belief and hungry. So the next thing to do since he's been here was to look for a place to sleep and eat at.
"hmm...I could break into one of these houses, I'm sure whoever lives there wouldn't mind," he mumbled to himself. Knowing full well he couldn't give a shit if the houses were empty or not, desperate times call for desperate measures.
Suddenly, a diner came into view, to which a sigh of relief came from his mouth as he started to run towards it.
When Parker opened the door and couldn't see anyone around from his view he called out into the diner.
"Hello? Whoever is hear and not friendly I don't give a shit I'm hungry! I'm taking food now!"

The séance with Edith hadn't been as helpful as they'd been hoping. Still, he'd gotten his backpack from the graveyard, so it hadn't been a total bust. After walking back into town with Edith, heading back toward the diner everyone had been gathered in, the two had parted ways. He didn't like the idea of anyone being alone here, but he wanted to do some exploring of his own.
After they split up, he headed further into town, and started testing the doors of buildings to see if any of these abandoned places were unlocked.

The day did not go well. I couldn’t find where to spend the night, the prices at the hotel began to go up a lot, and... The people there turned out to be... Strange. If you can say so. We'll have to walk around and find some other places.
It is advisable that people do not look at me as if I were a strange animal. An abomination.
...Cold. I'm still cold. And such a strange warmth goes through my hands. Nice.
