ANGEL STRINGS UPDATE!

Unfortunately, this week there won't be a new chapter for my snowgrave fic Angel Strings...

BECAUSE I UPLOADED ANOTHER FIC AFTER IT GOT BETA-READ BY MY FRIEND, V. T. HOLMES!

(Just a heads up this is more of a joke fic compared to my more serious works, and it's based off of two separate in-jokes in Andrew Cunningham's fan base. Just google "Umriss fanfiction reading" and "Kissy Cutie stream highlights" so you will know the context.)

Hopefully next week will actually have an Angel Strings chapter, but for now enjoy this... "masterpiece"

out of all the annoyances of Nutdealer misgenderings, applying he/him to Chara and Kris is wild? Not only are both names, like feminine, but also they have both only been identified as they/them very clearly.

Both Dreemurr humans were around the societies that used they/them for them for years. If Frisk’s pronouns were any/any, then that might make sense, who knows. But the bizarre pattern of making the Dreemurr humans boys while having Frisk be female is really weird! Again, “Kris” and “Chara” are both girl names irl, while Frisk straight up isn’t a name.

The only fanwork I’ve encountered that decided that “yeah Frisk should be a guy and Chara should be a girl” (neither of which are canon (actually Frisk might be a he/they, who knows)!) was a Deltarune character swap AU thing where it turned out that they were Kris’s parents but Frisk murdered Chara and so the Dreemurs adopted Kris. They still made Kris a guy, though.

Anyways this just lead me to think that the infamous Deltarune fanfic Umriss should have bent Kris’ gender femwards rather than malewards, especially since the author didn’t even have the decency to let Kriselle spawn horrific abominations. They kept Noelle attracted to Susie, and I feel like she seems like a Predatory Lesbian™️ instead of some cringy doe who maybe wants a threesome or to be a swinger or something, but is too much of a loser to actually ask and so is either waiting on her crush or her wife to discuss it.

(Anyways, if Kris≠Chara then probably humans in the Nutdealer multiverse are hermaphrodites or something (we know that ghosts are dxab (designated nonbinary(X-gender at birth) based on Mad Mew Mew being referred to as they/them when they were Mad Dummy). If they are then it’d just be weird coincidence, or maybe split reincarnation or Chara somehow managing to convince the underground that all humans are nonbinary because they got a 20 on the associated persuasion check). This could also play into the theory that Ralsei exists as Kris’ ideal self, including gender, if humans are nonbinary by default. This has the bonus of upsetting everyone)

i wasn't sure if i was going to post that, but in the end I do actually like this arrangement so ig why not

it's really just bluebird of misfortune but with as many string instruments from the touhou soundfont i could fit into the thing without it sounding too crowded

as a theme for that one unhinged deltarune fanfic i went a bit insane about bc of my favourite deltarune youtuber ("a bit" might be an understatement, i wrote a whole entire ending for it)

FOR CONTEXT, this is Umriss, an exceedingly strange Deltarune fanfic where the pairings are weird and the lack of divorce is weirder. I think it's really funny also this is my first time ever drawing Deltarune fanart technically and for that, I'm sorry <3 more excuses in the read more v

first things first i don't think kris looks like that at all but the author made them he/him and i was like okay well out of spite i'm giving kris vague house m.d. vibes so i hope that was communicated in a way. 2 i hope this spreads umriss awareness cause i KNOW a subsection of the fandom knows about it but for the life of me i cannot find much in terms of fanwork (FOR GOOD REASON RLLLY BUT ) shrug. three ..... I guess I'm a bit more critical on it because it's my first fic, but if people enjoy it people enjoy it. I am planning on reworking the fic into a chapter for a longer Deltarune fic centered around Trans Noelle, but I'm likely going to save that until ch 3-4's released as will likely learn more about the Holiday family, and thus I could add those details in.

Plus, kind of also got my hands full with an overly ambitious snowgrave fic (that also has trans noelle) called Angel Strings. It's like 7 chapters in. (Unfortunately it's been on hiatus for a few weeks because both myself and my beta-reader were busy with life and university, but hopefully will be able to get a new chapter out soon.)

Hopefully ch8 will be ready for next week, but lets just say something else may delay it. All I'm going to say is "If your an Andrew Cunningham fan, keep an eye out for the next fan fiction reading stream." My beta-reader might look a that fic first rather then the 8th chapter of my snowgrave fic.

I HAVE NOW CREATED FAN-FICTION!!!!!!! This is the first fan-fic I've ever posted so I hope you folks enjoy it! It's a Deltarune fic about Noelle coming out as trans to Berdly! (If you saw me fail at posting this because I forgot to insert the link that never happened)
