Hello, sorry if that's stupid but do you have any headcanons about Weskers taste in interior design?

Hmmm to start off I feel he’d be a minimalist. If you walk into his apartment (he would NOT have a house. or a mansion. I’m a firm believer of that), It’ll be pretty barren with only the essentials like his bed, some furniture strewn around, obviously a home office because that guy is married to his work. If you ask him about this he’ll get snippy and huff, explaining in great detail about how this is fine, and anything else is just needless clutter. Alongside this, I think in terms of colour palette it’d be pretty neutral. I think he’d be a modern house design kind of guy, your typical blacks, whites and greys with an overall sleek look to it. Of course obviously his space is going to be neat and clean.

Unlike the bright fluorescent lights found at the labs at Umbrella, Wesker’s apartment def has those warm dim lights that you can adjust the brightness with when you mess with the switch. I personally think he has light sensitivity, (because why was he wearing those fuckass glasses in re1) so I think any living space with Wesker would be pretty dark to ease the photophobia he has.

However, if we’re talking about Re5 Wesker I feel like he’d have a taste for gothic interior design as well, (Victorian, for the record). Like I mentioned earlier, he’d have an affinity for the blacks, greys and whites of course, but I think red as a complimentary colour to his living space is so very much Midnight Wesker. Expect to see ornate details such as a chandelier or large cathedral-esque windows that casts a dramatic lighting over the middle of his living room (which, btw serve as a replacement for the led dimmer switches. extra asf for no reason). The entire aesthetic just screams grandiose and elegance which is literally so him.
