Does anyone know the origin of the neutrois flag?

I'm trying to look for it, but all I'm finding is a bunch of posts, all using the same flag, with the same colour meanings, and without any sources. No one seems to know where it comes from, but it had to have come from somewhere, I really want to find it.

All I ended up finding was the origin of the genderqueer flag and old nonbinary flags smh. /lh

I found this nonbinary flag that reminded me a lot of the nonbinary flag you referenced here, but without the symbol.

I'm not sure, but it does seem like it's older than the most common nonbinary flag (yellow, white, purple, grey).

These were made because I found out that the creator of the most commonly used Nonbinary flag had some frankly incorrect and hurtful (at least to myself as an Intersex non-"DFAB" who uses it the way I do) opinions on Genderqueer people and on the label Genderqueer itself. As well as things like this on nir blog (I hope I don't have to explain why it's uncomfortable, especially in the context of the other post). Later edit, this as well.

This is not me saying you have to use this flag or that I hate you if you use the most popular one or anything btw. I've simply just made my own NB flags to use in edits/icons etc. for my own comfort.

These are inspired by this Nonbinary flag:

which is cited on the LGBTA wiki as "one of the oldest Nonbinary flags" but isn't given attribution (if you know please lmk so I can credit.) I moved it around a bit and adjusted the colors, I made the green to be more grey to mimic the Agender flag. There's a five-stripe version just for those who'd like a yellow-orange in there.

Here are some flipped versions if you'd prefer them for whatever reason (maybe to be closer to the original format of the older flag above?)

Free for anyone to use! You can also use this along with any other Nonbinary flag or flags you like or already use. I don't care as long as what ne said is taken seriously / not endorsed. ( Yes this includes nir flag! )

I’ve always loved the phrase from Toy Story “This isn’t flying, its falling with style!” and I thought it would make a cool url.

I saw that tumblr was a place where fans congregated and I needed something like that. I originally joined for glee.

What do you share/post about most?

It’s always a hodgepodge of what my current fandoms are, which change very quickly. Right now its usually a mixture of: Star Wars, Outlander, Doctor Who is always consistent, Harry Potter, Marvel,  cute animals, broadway stuff.

I try to never share hate posts. I try to stay away from politics for the most part (you’ll notice I’ve reblogged a few things recently because omg I’ve had enough of HIM and what he’s doing to this country right now).

Well I hope they like me....and I bless all almost 1,000 of you for staying with me for the last 8 years even though I’ve changed fandoms a million times.

RIGHT??? I was already over him when he made Europe sound ~so much better~ and ~so much smarter~ than the USA... when Europe has its problems.
