Maybe they can find a way to mention the Israel-Palestine conflict while they are at it? Why settle?

damn shame that even tho flagship R1 state schools have built so much of the backbone of the United States (the stereotypical example being agricultural development, but for sheer "wow" my favorite example is the ILLIAC machines), what are they good for now? what are people orienting the telos of these institutions around, besides taking a bunch of money from rich Chinese kids' parents and using it to plug leaks in underfunded pension programs?

maybe I'm just not around Actual Engineers enough, but to me, UMinn or UMich etc. are much more impressive than a 2nd-rate Ivy like Brown or Dartmouth, unless it's for some real frou-frou ass program. but, that's just me.

Did I apply to umich so I could go to school with quinn? No I did not but I did regret it. So am I applying to umich to go to school with owen, kj, briss, and bords? Still no and I still regret it but I definitely should think next chance I get

honestly the amount of times I almost applied to a school but didn't. Honestly I say if you want to apply to a school just go for it! It's worse to have regret over not applying/feeling like you missed something by not applying (talking from experience)

unfortunately, i am not a minnesota blog, however i can helpfully direct to more knowledgable blogs about the school such as my friends taylor (@fifthovertime) and @kniesy and quinn (@kniesys).

in terms of the new umich boys, i can try to answer any questions but if i'm being really honest, i mainly only know about rutger and the fantilli brothers. @rutgersmcgroarty is probably a better source for that :))

I can only imagine how difficult it is being in the limelight of the sports world. But imagine being in the spotlight at your school? Like at a time where you’re supposed to be enjoying anonymity. Ok this sounds super angsty but you get my point haha.

So I can imagine matthew feels pressured sometimes. But then he thinks about you and all the private fun stuff you get to do together (not like that ya nasty 😏)

Like him and his teammates and you playing Mario kart on a random weeknight eating spaghetti-os

Like walking around campus, stress free, and picking up coffee and just hanging out in the lounge areas before class

Like seeing you walk around his apartment in HIS clothes while you do homework and write emails

And even when there moments where eyes are on him you are there to support him while heartedly. Whether that’s wearing him jersey in the stands or sending good luck texts while he is half way across the country

YES YES YES i feel that after some time, people at uminn stop seeing him as a famous dude and treat him like a normal guy and then he can enjoy the experience but before that, he completely loves the private moments and cherish them. like imagine you and him watching some movie and you are just so lazy and cuddly and then one of you remember the assignment you have due tomorrow and it's funny and cute how you help the other one
