          if he could blink right now,  he would.  instead,  metallic copy opts to simply STARE at the girl with the usual blank expression.  he is a robot.  he doesn’t even have a mouth.  food meant nothing to him.  did she forget that?  that’s the only conclusion that he can come to that makes any sense.

          it takes a moment,  but eventually does he move to barely lift a single clawed finger in response.  it looked gross.

Umbragenesis: He has the ability to generate and project shadows and darkness, which absorbs or nullifies light in the area.

Umbrakinesis: He's able to shape and manipulate darkness and shadows, as if they are physical constructs. He can control anyone's shadow, but his control over his own shadow is at another level. His own shadow can become a dark clone of himself and he can make it act independently from his body, even detaching it from his physical body. Night Augmentation: His powers are at their strongest during the night. Shadow Control: He can takes control over motor functions of others against their will as if they were a marionette, via shadows. The victims are still conscious, but can't resist his control. Shadow Binding: He can tether a target to a single place by pinning their shadow to the ground or he can control the shadows to attack and bind the target. Shadow Blasts: He has the ability to fire concussive blasts of dark energy that can do considerable damage. Night Vision: He has the ability to see in low light conditions or even total darkness. Shadow Mimicry: He can transform his body completely into darkness. His transformed form is anatomically identical to his normal form, aside of being made of darkness. He can assume a two-dimensional form, extend outward to become a larger shadow, blend into the darkness and shadows completely and even teleport through them. Psychic Immunity: When in his shadow form, he's immune to telepathic powers. Physical Invulnerability: When in his shadow form, he's immune to physical damage and harm. He can still be hit by elemental attacks. Shadow Camouflage: While in his shadow form, he's able to become completely undetectable as long as he's in darkness or shadow. Shadow Teleportation: While in his shadow form, he can teleport himself and others, via shadows and darkness, merging into shadows and re-appearing anywhere else in the same element. Power Negation: If he engulfs someone with super abilities in his shadows, he has the ability to disrupt or negate the functioning of those powers.

Superhuman Strength: He has a low degree of superhuman strength. He's physically stronger than the strongest human beings, because his physical capabilities and applications are pushed beyond the natural level.

Superhuman Stamina: His cardiovascular, respiratory and metabolic systems are far more efficient than human norms.

Superhuman Agility: His agility, balance and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are far beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athletes. His tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being.

New ‘verse!

DCU!verse

Beau's a soldier – or rather, used to be one. He enlisted straight out of college and served for about six years, reaching the rank of NCO Sergeant E4. It was during that sixth year, when he was stationed in Afghanistan, that he watched a tank full of his friends roll over a mine and get blown to smithereens. The force of the blast threw him into the wreckage of another destroyed vehicle. He was mortally wounded, his body shredded by shrapnel and the impact. His heart stopping triggered the activation of a dormant metagene and set off a powerful burst of energy with him at ground zero. He regained consciousness surrounded by a group of soldiers he didn’t recognize, with their guns aimed at him, and hundreds of other people who shouldn’t have been there – he’d somehow revived all the recently dead in a five mile radius. All his own wounds had disappeared, leaving only a starburst scar where the largest piece of shrapnel had pierced his heart. He was taken to a secret facility where his captors performed experiments on him to find out the extent of his abilities and attempted to weaponize what they found. By the time he was found and rescued, Beau was barely clinging to his sanity, tormented not only by the tortures he had undergone, but also the spirits of the dead who seemed to be somehow drawn to him. It took only days to recover from the physical effects of his ordeal, but weeks to be able to somewhat function on his own. When he finally returned home, Beau knew he couldn’t return to the life he’d known before. He had to do something with his newfound abilities besides hiding them from the world. He took to the streets as a masked crime fighter. His alias: Lazarus.

Powers/Abilities:

Resurrection - This only occurred at the time of Beau’s powers’ manifestation and has not since. It came at a steep price, draining the life energy from the land itself. He doesn’t know whether he could do it again or use it to save someone else.

Immortality - Due to the nature of his powers’ manifestation, Beau can’t be killed by any means other than removing his heart, both lungs, spine, or brain from his body, or completely incinerating him, except by someone who has the means to negate his powers

Accelerated Healing - Beau heals at an extremely accelerated rate. If his wounds are severe enough to be life threatening, the energy drain that occurred at his powers’ manifestation will occur again, taking energy from any living thing nearby in order to heal him.

General Healing - Beau can heal others’ injuries to a very slight extent. Enough to stop a cut or gash from bleeding or remove bruising.

Mediumship - The spirits that flock to Beau speak to him and aid him, reacting to his emotions and state of mind. That’s not always a good thing. More about this ability here.

Umbragenesis - Beau can manipulate shadows, and he will often use this ability however the situation calls for, whether that’s creating a shield, lifting items that are too heavy to lift normally, transportation, creating his uniform, or making shapes to entertain a child.   This had been a stupid idea. While no longer young, Abraham still took pride in being seen out on the field as much as he could. Today, this had proven to be a terrible decision to make. Slowly looking around, he took in the scale of the destruction caused by robotnik’s machines, now pushed away by the local population and GUN’s forces. As he slowly stood up, he realised that someone was holding onto him tightly. Looking down, Maria’s blonde hair came into view, followed by her unusually worried look, fixated on him. “Maria...” he let out in a whisper, before straightening himself up, thanks to her help.

”I’m... Sorry.” Was all he could muster. But for what? For roping her into this? For having to see her cousin’s action in person?.Tower himself didn’t know...”Are you alright ?” He continued as his head no longer hurt and his ears no longer rang.

Seated, listening intently, never once does Meena remove her eyes away from the blonde, not even a split second. 

Huh, what a much relatable statement to be hearing. She wasn’t going to leave this unanswered, all while having this peculiar sensation of knowing what Maria meant... to an extent, mind you.

‘‘But you’re still looking for him’‘, it was something the latter could do, though not alone. After all, the metahuman was all for giving an helping hand.

There was nothing to gain from this, not in this situation, not towards whomst brought up such a question, concern even.

Eyes, akin to the ocean, glanced down, at the arm’s damages, how peeled off it looked, how it was chipping off. Though crimson leaked, the sap in the way, coating Meena’s arm, was acting similar to that of bandage, keeping blood from leaking too freely.
