In fairness, it would win you purple and red hearts if you said that. Jumin is SUPER savage, and 7 is super snarky. An MC who is unashamedly savage would get along great with those two.

Plus, 7 would probably point out she’s right and laugh about it. After all, they have a security system he can activate if they really, really need to.

But yes we should totally get that AU!

I looked everywhere.. My desk.. My files.. The trash.. I still couldn't find where I said Jumin was a better character and deserved to be the True™ End. For the record, the only reason why the "Jumin never does that" fact had ever been brought up was to counter the counterargument "breadcrumbs call and Jumin's call is comparable." Other than that, I don't have any problem with Seven and would gladly have this nerd as my partner in crime. #saltminesaresalty #thankyouEllyforputtingupwithus

I’m mostly just confused at the mental gymnastics at work here tbh. This was basically the conversation:

Don’t feel bad. Play the game how you want. Also Seven says some quite emotionally manipulative stuff on Jumin route so there are some aspects of Seven that actually make me uncomfortable

It wasn’t a Jumin vs Seven debate? It wasn’t even necessarily negative to Seven, since a lot of the people chatting about it love him to bits?? I’m scratching my head at the posts that came after this like BUT ZEN THO and YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT JUMIN like where are you getting this from?? A big part of the discussion was feeling uncomfortable at being made to feel like our choices were wrong and didn’t matter and it would be oddly hypocritical to do that and then say JUMIN THO. HE’S THE TRUE END. YUP.

RIGHT?? The apartment has been unsecured literally from the start of the game. The only thing that makes the MC remotely safe is that 7 is watching the whole time (which is dumb to start with because that boy has many things but a transporter pad is not one of them). Someone knew where it was, someone knew the password to it, WHY WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE TO STAY THERE AND EXPECT IT TO BE SAFE?!

and the whole tone of the route is like “Oh Jumin you keep being so paranoid~!”

And keeps calling it ‘home’ because MC spawned from the ether and has no history or home.

True. In BRE, she never came to any chatroom, which means there was absolutely no complaints from her to Jumin or to any other RFA members about him keeping her in his penthouse Don't forget: it's also explicitly stated by Jumin that MC seemed to be acting as opposed to what she said to him. You can't really blame him when MC was the one who refused to communicate her problems and went rogue with her unstableness.

Jumin’s second BRE is weird because the BREs rely on not having enough interaction/communication and you’re literally living with him at that point, so the MC being super unstable and reclusive is the only way for it to work.

Jumin can barely deal with his own instability, he can’t be expected to deal with that and adapt to a suddenly unstable MC as well. (especially since she’s totally fine with being with him up until the story branch. It’s kind of jarring that you go from “neutral/super clinging choices” to “politely distant/SUPER GET AWAY choices” mid VN.)

It’s impossible to get his BRE without playing through his VNs, which means that it’s possible the MC could be amenable and understanding with him about staying while not getting on the messenger and then getting more unstable for no reason until the BRE happens. (Unlike BE3 that relies on choices, BRE requires inactivity, not choices)

THIS. YES. ALL OF THIS. The only reason MC has to stay at Rika's apartment is that the RFA app has to be connected to the home system and she can receive and send mails to the guests only when she is there. But you know, Genius God Seven could have installed the whole new system in a safer place and had MC live there instead. But nope, how about living in a pronounced dead woman's apartment and helping us host parties from there for the rest of your life *shrug*?

It’s a dinky little thing Rika never got for actually living in, mostly full of computers and classified info. You’re literally turning your nose up to a PENTHOUSE SUITE so you can run back to the apartment because???? reasons??

I mean, if the MC hurt herself and was in life threatening danger 7 would sit on his hands and wait for Mr “I never answer my damn phone” V to give him permission to do anything unless her boyfriend went over and physically threatened him. And that’s when he isn’t in soul crushing depression.

but yes. he could have some kind of a mobile thing set up.

you keep getting emails and answering them and accessing the RFA the WHOLE time you’re with Jumin, so.....I’m not sure what MC can only do at the apartment? (Especially when, push comes to shove, Jumin and Jaehee do most of it for her in Jumin’s route without ever going to the apartment)

and she’s literally in danger from the ??? person who put her there in the first place and everyone’s like “SHRUG?! I guess just stay there? Because that stupid party is SO UNBELIEVABLY IMPORTANT WE NEED TO HAVE IT LITERALLY RIGHT NOW”

That’s the one where Unknown straight up classic NTRs Seven, isn’t it?

I’d have to see it and the lead up more, but I’d be concerned over any result where MC ends up at Torture Capital Korea without a potential escape plan.
