Cooking with Christie: Ultimate Chocolate Cupcakes with Ganache Filling
Inspiration: I love baking. I relish making things others delight in eating

One of the primary recipients of my efforts is my husband’s coworkers. Normally, I bake and send whatever tickles my fancy. However, in a rare instance, they sent me a

Pinkie giggled. "I think he is. We were having a lot of fun baking tasty treats and trying them. But, when I finished my batch of chocolate cupcakes he ran off. So, I'm looking for him. If he wanted to play hide and seek he should've just said so. I love playing games like hide and seek!"
She peeked around him to peer into the room. When she saw nothing she looked back at him. "Well, if you see him tell him Pinkie is looking for him." She reached into her basket and pulled out a chocolate cupcake. "Here, have a cupcake. I call these my 'ultimate chocolate' cupcakes! It's a chocolate cupcake with a chocolate ganache filling, chocolate icing, chocolate sprinkles, and chocolate syrup drizzled on top of it."
Without any warning, she shoved it right into his mouth. "Here you go. Enjoy it!"
With that done she skipped away happily. "Big brother Leski, where are you?! Come out, come out wherever you are!"
Ozpin suddenly bursts into Ooblecks office and slammed the door shut. His white shirt and blue jeans are covered in flour and sprinkles and frosting were in his hair. He looked a bit panicked. “Bart, I will literally increase your salary if you let me hide in here.” (@headmaster-leski-ozpin)
Oobleck was sitting in his office going over the lesson plan for next year when he was startled by the sudden entrance into his office, he looked at his friend and wanted to laugh a little but held back and just raise his eyebrow while taking a sip of his coffee before he askedïżŒïżŒ
“ increase my salary you say? Wait I need more info
hide? If you’re hiding from Glynda and your responsibility’s ïżŒagain keep me out of itïżŒïżŒ I don’t wanna be involved”
Oobleck said as he sat back in his chair

Vegan Thanksgiving Recipes
Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Looking for some vegan deliciousness for your feast? This amazing collection of over 80(!) vegan Thanksgiving recipes has everything you need for an amazing plant-based holiday meal.
It’s time to start planning! Every year since I started blogging I’ve put together one of these little collections of Vegan Thanksgiving recipes. Usually I slack off and post it right before the holiday.
This year I got my act together and I’m here with plenty of time to spare with all the vegan Thanksgiving deliciousness you can handle.
I’ve got more Thanksgiving recipes on the way, and I’ll continue to add them as the holiday approaches, so check back from time to time as you put your menu together.
And to make this list easy to navigate, here’s an index! Click on any of the headings in the index to jump right to that section of the round-up.
And on to the list!
Appetizers
It wouldn’t be a party without some pre-dinner snacks! Keep your guests happy before the big meal with any of these vegan dips, cheeses and finger foods.
Vegan Dips & Cheeses
Dips are always a crowd-pleaser! Keep it simple with some hummus, or go adventurous with a vegan cheese and some crackers or bread.
Maple Dijon Vegan Cheese Ball
Caramelized Onion Hummus
Vegan Swiss Cheese Fondue
Cashew Camembert
Sweet, Smoky and Savory Butternut Squash Hummus
Finger Foods
These little nibbles are just as cute as they are delicious.
Vegan Spinach Puffs
Tempeh Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms
Vegan Mini Spinach Quiches
Mushroom Crostini with Herbed Cashew Cheese
Sweet Potato Latkes with Spiked Apple Sauce
Soups
A warm and cozy bowl of soup is the perfect way to start a meal when it’s cold outside. Go traditional with a squash or veggie based soup, or really impress your guests with one of the super-decadent creamy soups lower down on the list.
Squash Soups
Squash soups get their very own category when it comes to Thanksgiving recipes.
Red Lentil Butternut Squash Soup with Curry Croutons
Miso Kabocha Squash Soup with Maple Roasted Walnuts
Roasted Butternut Squash Soup
Creamy Vegan Pumpkin Bisque with Maple Cinnamon Tempeh Croutons
Veggie Soups
I really like starting my Thanksgiving dinner with a veggie-packed soup. It helps to get something nutritious into my belly and prevents me from overdoing it later on when the main meal is served.
Quinoa & Lentil Cabbage Roll Soup
Rosemary, Red Bean & Kale Soup
Chai-Spiced Apple Sweet Potato Soup
Creamy Soups
Since Thanksgiving is in fact a once a year meal, it’s totally understandable that you may want to indulge in a thick and creamy bowl of soup. The good news is that all of these are made without dairy! Most are cashew-based, but if you’re looking for a nut-free soup try the Creamy Mushroom & Wild Rice or the Roasted Garlic Potato Leek Soup.
Creamy Mushroom & Wild Rice Soup
Creamy Kale Soup with Spicy Roasted Chickpeas
Creamy Vegan Mushroom & Barley Soup
Roasted Garlic Potato Leek Soup
Vegan Cheddar Beer Soup
Vegan Broccoli Cheese Soup
Creamy Vegan Potato Soup with Kale and Smoked Almonds
Smoky White Bean Cauliflower Chowder
Blackened Cauliflower Soup
Main Dishes
Savory Pies
What’s the best way to ensure zero complaints about serving a meatless main dish? Put it in a pie! Seriously, have you ever heard anyone complain about having to eat pie? I didn’t think so!
Savory Lentil Mushroom Vegan Hand Pies
Whiskey Lentil Vegan Shepherd’s Pie
Vegan French Onion Pot Pie
Creamy Cauliflower Cobbler
Chickpea Ragout Pot Pie
Spinach & Mushroom Vegan Puff Pastry Quiches
Vegan Chicken Pot Pie
Vegan Potato Leek Quiche
Vegan Loaves
I only have a few loaf recipes (so far), but they’re all pretty killer. For something traditional(ish) try the (Almost) Classic Chickpea Meatloaf. The Mushroom Dill Red Lentil Roast is perfect if you’d like something adventurous.
(Almost) Classic Chickpea Vegan Meatloaf
Mushroom Dill Red Lentil Roast
Italian-Style Vegan Meatloaf Muffins
Holiday-Worthy Pastas
What makes a pasta dish holiday-worthy? It has to be super hearty, with cheesy (vegan) filling or creamy sauce, and bold flavors. All of these pastas fit the bill!
Vegan Mushroom Stroganoff
Vegan Stuffed Shells Florentine
Pea Pesto Stuffed Shells
Vegan Manicotti with Blush Sauce and Kale
Vegan Gnocchi with Creamy Lemon Garlic Sauce
Butternut Squash Stuffed Shells
Creamy Vegan Mushroom Lasagna
Roasted Butternut Squash Pasta with Walnuts & Kale
Vegan Lasagna Primavera with Pesto Cashew Cream Sauce
Creamy Vegan Pumpkin Pasta
Stews
Stews aren’t exactly traditional as Thanksgiving main dishes, but then again, neither is just about anything vegan. It just so happens that savory stews make perfect holiday main dishes.
Eggplant Bourguignon
Wild Mushroom Ragu with Creamy Polenta
Vegan Rosemary Chicklins & Dumplings Stew
Portobello Mushroom Beef Stew
Veggie-Based Mains
The trick to creating a perfect holiday main dish around vegetables? Use super hearty veggies like portobello mushrooms, winter squash, eggplant and cauliflower!

Vegan Salisbury Steak Meatballs with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Mushroom Gravy
Crispy Tofu Steaks with Caramelized Onion Gravy
Creamy Vegan Mushroom Risotto
Vegan Vegetable Wellington
Butternut Squash Risotto
Sides
Sides are where it’s at. I could create a vegan Thanksgiving dinner from sides alone (and for years I did just that).

Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Crumble Topping
Vegan Roasted Garlic & Dill Mashed Red Potatoes
Marshmallow Topped Vegan Sweet Potato Casserole
Truffled Mashed Potatoes

Super Simple Vegan Gravy
Whiskey Mushroom Gravy
Veggies
You’ve got to at least include some veggies in your feast. Serve the Dijon SautĂ©ed Brussels Sprouts and they just might be the first thing on the table to disappear.
Vegan Green Bean Casserole
Dijon Brussels Sprouts
Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Butternut Squash with Coconut Bacon

Desserts
Dessert is my favorite course to wow everyone with. There so many vegan sweets that are super decadent and nobody would ever guess they were made without eggs or dairy! For a traditional feast, choose one of the pie recipes, or for something different serve up some Thanksgiving doughnuts.
Vegan Pies
Everyone craves pie on Thanksgiving, so I highly recommend putting at least one of these on the menu. I even have a homemade vegan pie crust recipe that works with any of these pies.
Chai-Spiced Vegan Sweet Potato Pie
Vegan Chocolate Pecan Pie
Vegan Apple Pie
Vegan Pumpkin Pie
Festive (and Delicious!) Vegan Cakes
If pie is the number one traditional Thanksgiving dessert, cake has to come in a close second. These are a few of my most festive cake recipes on the blog, so they’re perfect for holiday celebrations.
Vegan Mocha Layer Cake
Vegan Carrot Cake with Cashew Cream Cheese Frosting
Vegan Spice Cake
Mulled Wine Chocolate Cupcakes with Orange Ganache Frosting
Rosemary Lemon Vegan Pound Cake

While some of us might not be able to imagine life without wheat, others find a gluten-free diet to be a necessity. (And even if you fall into the former category, chances are ever greater these days that someone you know and love belongs to the latter, which means you may well end up planning a menu with gluten sensitivities in mind.) There’s abundant variety to be had in such a diet—we’ve got a whole slew of gluten-free recipes for all occasions, and even gluten-free desserts are easy to come by if you stick with ice cream, custards, and the like. But baked goods—like cookies, breads, and cakes, which are often formulated specifically to be made with wheat flour—can be a different story.
Luckily, using carefully selected alternative flours, or a blend thereof, makes delicious wheatless baked goods a possibility. You can try substituting one of these three flour blends in just about any recipe that calls for wheat flour. But if you’d rather roll with a made-to-be-gluten-free recipe, we’ve got plenty to choose from: fluffy, cloudlike angel food cake; pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting; and snickerdoodles that’ll take you back to your after-school days, to name a few. Keep reading for 18 of our favorite baking recipes that anyone, GF or not, can enjoy.

The Ultimate Gluten-Free Angel Food Cake

This gluten-free angel food cake isn’t just as good as our wheat-flour version—it might actually be even better. That’s because the blend of cornstarch, tapioca starch, white rice flour, and coconut flour is more delicate than all-purpose flour, producing a cake that’s unbelievably light and fluffy. It’s also remarkably easy to make—just whip up a simple meringue, then fold in the dry ingredients—and dairy-free as well.

A “dump”-style Bundt cake like this one is great for entertaining: It comes together in one bowl with minimal effort, but still looks impressive. Sweet rice flour, white rice flour, and tapioca starch form a smooth flour blend that won’t leave the cake gritty. Strong brewed coffee added to the batter helps enhance the chocolate flavor, and a simple ganache poured over the top forms a satisfyingly rich glaze. (To make the finished product a little lighter, top with a citrus-scented confectionary glaze instead of ganache.)

One-Bowl Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake
Another one-bowl dessert that’s gluten-free (and dairy-free, too), this chocolate cake comes together just as quickly as a boxed mix, but with a delicate crumb and a chocolate flavor deepened by the addition of coffee. It works equally well as a full-sized cake or cupcakes. Here, we’ve topped the cupcakes with a fluffy coconut and marshmallow frosting; feel free to substitute any icing you choose.

Apple-Ginger Tishpishti (Gluten-Free Almond and Walnut Cake)
Because leavening action is prohibited during Passover, most desserts prepared for the holiday eschew flour entirely, which makes these recipes an ideal resource for anyone avoiding gluten. Tishpishti is a Sephardic Jewish cake made with walnuts and almonds and traditionally eaten over Passover; this Americanized version includes grated apple, which lightens up and tenderizes the dense nut-based cake. Though the original version is often doused with a rosewater syrup, we complement the apple flavor by using one flavored with ginger and Applejack instead.

Easy, Light, and Tender Honey-Vanilla Almond Cake
[Photograph: Jennifer Latham]
Like our tishpishti, this cake is made with almond flour, either store-bought or homemade—we like to grind our own flour in a food processor because it gives us more control over the texture of the finished dish. Use skin-on almonds for an earthier flavor or blanched ones for a lighter cake. Either way, the key to this cake’s remarkably light texture is to properly beat the egg whites: to soft peaks only, at a relatively slow speed, with a couple drops of lemon juice added to stabilize the foam.

Gluten-Free All-Day Lemon Cake (With a Choice of Two Toppings)
The restrained sweetness of this lemon cake, whose light texture comes from a combination of rice flour and tapioca starch, makes it just as appropriate for dessert or breakfast (hence the name). There are a couple ways to customize it—top it with a simple-syrup glaze or a lemon icing, and feel free to toss fresh berries into the batter if you have some on hand.

Gluten-Free Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes With Cream Cheese Icing
[Photograph: Elizabeth Barbone]
Pumpkin season (and pumpkin spice season) is a long way off, but if you can find canned pumpkin purĂ©e in stores near you, you can enjoy these warmly spiced cupcakes all year long. The neutral flavors of white rice flour and cornstarch allow the pumpkin itself to take center stage—though make sure you look for real pumpkin purĂ©e, not pie filling. A teaspoon of ground ginger gives the cupcakes a little bite without pushing them into gingerbread territory.

Flaky and Crisp Gluten-Free Pie Crust
It’s easy to make a gluten-free pie filling—the crust is the tricky part. Our recipe uses the same base as our GF angel food cake (cornstarch, tapioca, white rice flour, and coconut flour), plus xanthan gum to give the dough extra strength and elasticity. Once you’ve rounded up the ingredients, the technique is the same as for our traditional flaky pie crust.

Gluten-Free Blueberry Cheesecake Pie With Lavender Streusel
[Photograph: Aki Kamozawa]
Looking for a recipe to put that gluten-free pie crust to work? This hybrid dessert combines two perennial favorites—cheesecake and pie—by filling a tender yet crisp crust with both tangy simmered blueberries and a light cheesecake layer. A lavender-scented streusel topping, made with a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend, adds the buttery crunch of the graham cracker crust more commonly used in cheesecake recipes.

Easy Gluten-Free Plum Cobbler
The key to this plum cobbler, which replaces wheat flour with sorghum and sweet rice flours, is to cut the fruit into thick pieces: Quartered plums may look huge going into the oven, but they’ll cook down to the perfect size, growing soft and juicy while retaining some structure. If you can get good peaches, try swapping them for half of the plums.

Cookies and Bars
Gluten-Free Snickerdoodles
The gluten-free flour blend used here is a 1:1 substitute for all-purpose flour, making this an otherwise pretty standard snickerdoodle recipe. Just combine sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla; add baking powder, salt, and the flour blend; portion the dough; and roll each ball in cinnamon sugar. The result is a tender, buttery, crisp-edged cookie, and the whole recipe comes together in about an hour.

Buttery Gluten-Free Corn Cookies
Our gluten-free take on the corn cookies made famous by Christina Tosi of Milk Bar calls for replacing the wheat flour with white rice flour and slightly increasing the amount of corn flour (which is nothing more than very finely ground cornmeal). Tosi’s recipe calls for “freeze-dried corn powder”—make it by pulverizing freeze-dried corn kernels in a food processor, or buy it online directly from the Milk Bar store.

Gluten-Free Chocolate Cookies With Peanut Butter Chips
[Photograph: Elizabeth Barbone]
A combination of cocoa powder and melted chocolate makes these cookies ultra rich, while melted butter instead of creamed butter produces a soft, tender crumb. After the dough comes together, in go the peanut butter chips, though if you prefer a crunchier cookie, try mixing in chopped unsalted peanuts instead. Want to make a variety of treats for entertaining or to send in a care package? The chewy chocolate chip peanut butter cookies pictured here are gluten-free as well.

Gluten-Free Fig Bars
Whether you’re going gluten-free or not, a proper Fig Newton copycat depends on remembering the spirit of the brand’s old slogan: They’re not so much cookies as they are fruit and cake. Achieving that cake-like consistency means adding eggs and baking soda to the dough and using shortening instead of butter. The filling is a simple mixture of dried Mission figs, water, corn syrup, lemon juice, and salt, all pulsed together in the food processor.

Gluten-Free Strawberry Shortcakes
Inspired by a recipe from James Beard, these strawberry shortcakes include one very unusual addition: hard-boiled egg yolks. As crazy as it sounds, the yolks give the shortcakes a texture that’s light and tender, yet sturdy enough to receive a generous spoonful of sweet macerated strawberries. But do make sure to incorporate the eggs fully so that the biscuits don’t come out studded with little bits of yolk.

Gluten-Free Apple Fritters
These gluten-free apple fritters require a specialty ingredient called Chebe cheese-bread mix, which is made with modified manioc starch and does a solid job of imitating a glutinous dough. This recipe isn’t a quick one—you’ll need to reserve a full afternoon to allow the dough to rise twice—but you’ll be rewarded with fritters that are small enough to preserve the right ratio of crisp-fried exterior to chewy, apple-studded crumb.

Gluten-Free Potato Bread
If you’ve never made your own potato bread, you should give it a try, even if you’re not avoiding gluten: Besides lending some interesting flavor, fully hydrated potato starch gives the loaf a nicely moist, tender crumb. The gluten-free all-purpose flour blend we use here produces a dough that doesn’t exhibit much oven spring, so be sure to let the dough rise well before baking, which will create a beautifully light, bubble-filled texture in your bread.

Cuñapes/Pão de Queijo (South American Cheesy Bread)
Known by many names across South America, these cheesy mini breads are naturally gluten-free, as they’re made with tapioca starch—though you’ll want to specifically seek out Brazilian fermented, or sour, tapioca starch, rather than the Thai variety that’s more common in the US, for the most authentic texture and lightly tangy flavor. A blend of cheddar and Grana Padano works nicely for the cheese filling. These bake well from frozen, too, so make an extra batch to have on hand when a craving strikes.

Cake making on a Sunday is one of our favourite things to do. We have our breakfast and then the kids are ready to make the cake for our after dinner treat. I haven’t made a chocolate cake for a while as we have concentrated on making cupcakes over the last few months. The kids love making cupcakes because they are quick and they like to decorate them and eat as they are going. I wanted something a little more naughty this sunday and I had some leftover ingredients perfect for this cake from easter. I had some seriously good dark chcocolate as a gift and it’s always nice to do a dessert with great ingredients.
I have history with chocolate cake
a few years back I made the best chocolate fudge ever! Beginners luck though as I totally winged it. Chucked a bit in there and a little bit more there and hey presto! One. Amazing. Cake. Rookie mistake though as I didn’t write it down and tried to repeat it for my son’s first birthday
.needless to say, it was awful the second time. It was dense and eggy – no where near the lusciousness of the first one I had made a week earlier. My friends and family were very kind and gulped nearly all of it down with a smile on their faces. I gaurantee you they didn’t like it. My wife is a very honest, straight talking woman and she had no qualms in telling me how bad it was. It has become one of those ‘remember that cake you made ‘ stories which will haunt me forever. Luckily, I have learnt the errors of my ways and now write down everything I experiment, discard the bad and improve the good. This cake is a top notch recipe that I have been playing with for a while. It’s fudgy, rich and moist – everything you want it a seriously good chocolate cake.
If you’re on a diet you might want to look away. I try not to eat that much chocolate nowadays but I need a good fix to keep the choccie monster at bay. This is a chocolatey, fudgy, and ultimately a gorgeous Sunday cake. I hope you enjoy! It’s an absolute belter of a cake.
Ingredients
Cake Mix
200g Self raising flour
200g sugar
90ml olive oil
110ml boiling coffee water  ( 3tsp instant coffee)
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
60g cocoa powder unsweetened
1 1/4  tsp baking powder
2 tbsp milk
Filling
250g mascarpone
2 tbs nutella
2 tbsp cocoa powder unsweetened
Topping
100g dark chocolate – finely chopped or grated
1 tbsp heavy cream or 75ml of double cream if you haven’t got the heavy stuff
  Method
Whisk the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees celcius.
Add and mix the flour, cocoa powder and vanilla together.
Add and beat the oil in until smooth and thick.
Make the coffee water. It has to be boiling water and added when just made. Again beat this into the mixture.
Add the milk and beat the mixture until fully incorporated.
Crease a large cake pan. I used a 10 inch cake pan for my cake.
Cook in the oven for 40mins. Check the cake at 30 mins. It should be a fudgey cake so the cocktail stick will be slightly covered but not runny.
Let the cake cool for at least 20 mins before completing the filling and topping of the cake.
For the filling, mix the mascarpone, nutella and cocoa powder together. I then put in to a piping bag and keep in the fridge until I am ready to complete the cake.
For the topping, make a rich chocolate ganache by warming the cream on the hob on a low to medium heat. Do not boil the cream. Add the chopped chocolate to the cream and stir whilst off the heat. It will become a thick ganache and spreadable.

Delicious Christmas Dessert Recipes
It’s finally time for apple cinnamon and pumpkin spice to take a back seat. Winter is coming, and we must shine the spotlight on cooling peppermint treats and spiced eggnog recipes. With Christmas in just a few weeks, you’re probably starting to think about the cookies you want to whip up for your annual cookie exchange; maybe you’re even thinking about creating some edible gifts for friends and coworkers. Whatever the case may be, you’re going to have to yank the flour and sugar out of the pantry at some point. Luckily, we’ve got 30 holiday desserts that will give you all the inspiration you need.
1. Cranberry Tart With Almond Cream: If the cranberry sauce at your Thanksgiving dinner didn’t sate your cranberry needs, this festive tart will. Fresh cranberries are piled into a shortbread crust over a luscious almond cream, and it’s kind of the best thing ever. (via Mimi Claire)
2. Orange Glazed Donuts With Sugared Rosemary: One of the best things about donuts is they can be enjoyed as both a dessert *and* as a sweet breakfast option; you’ll want one for each occasion. The citrus-infused glaze and sugared herbs create the ultimate holiday treat. (via Lau Sunday Cooks)
3. Dark Chocolate Cranberry Almond Biscotti: We hope you’re ready for additional caffeine, because you’ll be brewing an extra cup a day just for an excuse to dip and devour these beauties. Delicious and totally addicting, these munchies are packed with almonds and cranberries and dipped in chocolate. (via Little Broken)
4. Peppermint Bark Cookies: What pumpkin spice is to fall, peppermint is to winter — and you just can’t get through the snowy season without indulging in some sweet and cool peppermint bark. The combination of chocolate and mint are a delight, and this treat pairs wonderfully with a cup of hot cocoa. (via The Whole Bite)
5. Mexican Wedding Cakes: If your mom ever took part in cookie exchanges when you were growing up, you know these amazing little bites are classic. These tiny snowballs are slightly salty, super nutty, buttery, and downright delish. (via So Munch Love)
6. Rum-Spiked Eggnog CrĂšme BrĂ»lĂ©e: We’re not quite sure what the best part of crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e is — breaking through the brittle caramelized sheet of sugar, or scooping out the silky custard post-breakthrough. Either way, we need to dig into this spiked eggnog version STAT. (via The Cozy Apron)
7. Rum and Eggnog Bundt Cake: We like big bundts and we cannot lie; a slice of this, we can’t deny! Flavored with rum and eggnog, this luscious cake is slathered with a generous coating of eggnog cream cheese icing that will make your tastebuds sing. (via Liv for Cake)
8. Almond Thumbprint Cookies With Orange Cardamom Jam: It truly isn’t the holidays without some jam-filled thumbprint cookies to munch on. Though a berry jam is most commonly used, the use of this cardamom-spiced orange jam is brilliant. WE’RE NOT DROOLING, YOU ARE. (via Faring Well)
9. Mincemeat Cupcakes With Mascarpone Frosting: These starry cupcakes are almost too cute to eat
almost. With mascarpone frosting, these mincemeat cakes offer us sugar and spice, and everything nice. (via Supergolden Bakes)
10. Healthy Gluten-Free Ginger Candy Scones: It’s not often we see the words “healthy” and “candy” in the same sentence, but when we do, we’re filled with glee. These flaky and soft scones are spiced with ginger and drizzled with a creamy maple frosting. (via Paleo and Gluten-Free Eats)
11. Eggnog Cheesecake Brownies: With creamy eggnog cheesecake swirling into fudge-y goodness, these brownies are a thing of magic. Even eggnog naysayers will fall in love with these soft and chewy bites. (via A Cookie Named Desire)

13. Apple and Mincemeat Filo Wreath: This swoon-worthy recipe stuffs crisp apples and mincemeat into a flaky filo pastry, resulting in complete dessert heaven. Adorned with cranberries and drizzled with custard, this treat is guaranteed to be a hit at any holiday party. (via Domestic Gothess)
14. Chocolate Candy Cane Bundt Cake: We know you’re thinking it because we’re thinking it — be still, my heart! This rich, minty and chocolatey cake is dripping with a minty glaze and topped with crushed candy canes. Can you say flavor bomb? (via Crumb Kitchen)
15. No-Bake Chocolate Orange Greek Yogurt Cheesecake: If you’ve been assigned dessert duty this year, we’ve got you covered with this *glorious* treat. Decorated with candied orange slices, this no-bake cheesecake is full of rich and bright flavors that will surely impress. (via Nutmeg Nanny)
16. Smoked Bourbon Vanilla Bean and Salted Caramel CrÚme Brûlée Macarons: Macarons are a delicate work of art, but they are SO worth the effort when you can sit back and admire your chic creation. This recipe brings a dash of sophistication by combining boozy with sweet. (via Butter and Brioche)

18. Yule Log: Fluffy chocolate cake and a smooth cream filling make this bĂ»che de NoĂ«l a must-try. Just don’t accidentally throw it in the fireplace! (via Culinary Ginger)
19. Struffoli: Neapolitan cuisine is know for its sweets, and these crispy Christmas honey balls are no exception. They’re like Italian donut holes. Decorate them with candied citrus zest and sprinkles. (via Philoso Kitchen)
