Ulpian is such a funny operator, definitely one of the funniest they've released in quite a while.

(Which like, what the fuck is happening here if you try to think of this from a flavor perspective. The flavor of the instakill ability is that, it's revealed that your operator was actually a Damazti clone the whole time, so is this like, Ulpian abandoning Skadi to go to the store and pick up a pack of cigarettes, running into an imposter of himself and beating the shit out of them?)

In the ISes, if you stack enough initial +SP relics (which to be fair is pretty hard), you can just infinitely spam his S3 over and over again since each will fully refresh his SP bar.

And then in IS4 in particular, if you get Crisis Trigger on him. Well...

Ulpianus's third skill is highly unusual even among the lockpicking-enabled operators, and makes him extremely good for picking a single hard to reach door. Unlike Kafka, Goldenglow, and Wiš'adel, you don't need to worry as much about placement, because he occupies the entire line of his attack during the initial activation.

However, it has some weirdness to it. Basically, when Ulpianus activates his skill, he occupies the six squares in front of him (allowing him to break blocks in any of the seven squares in front of him), but the damage itself does not reach the full distance. The damage is an area attack with radius 1.8 centered on the first enemy (or resource node) he hits in his dash. This means that you can break walls with the following rules:

As long as there is at most one tile between his first target (be it an enemy or a resource node) and the wall, it will break. If there's a two-block gap, he can't touch it.

This means that he can be used very similarly to Kafka (and in fact breaks at the same range as her, and a little further potentially), but as he's not a fast-redeploy, he won't be able to do it more than once or maybe twice per entry into a map. However, he can break walls blocked by further gaps than her, and can potentially do some tricksy stuff Goldenglow and Wishie can't, so it's definitely worth keeping in mind if you have him.

So I have online autism therapy and my therapist knows I LOVE ak a little to much.

Today my mom went to me and said I got a small package with my name on it from the autism therapy center. I open it.

I see a super cute folder with a lot of drawings and advice to calm down during a panic attack since I get them a lot. But. What I saw underneath the outstanding folder cover shocked me.

She took someone's ak gacha pull and made it a image and I think the funniest part is that right before my mom gave me this package i was like "agghh I really want him" after seeing him on smth. Suddenly 2x ulpianus in a gacha pull are now on my autism folder and I've been giggling sm about it. Jokes aside I am still happy she thought of me and even put anything ak related there. Best therapist I ever had.
