Reblog of the start of my Kiss art February challenge (ft Voltron OCS)

Wanted to try the kissartfebruary challenge on Instagram, so started the first three days with my Voltron OCS. First was literally "First" with Ulaz and Moira in their young days. Miscommunication played a big part in confessions, and so one has to take initiative to get the message across. Cue an awkward exchange.

Second was "Sleepy" and so chose to draw Duram and Aeryn. Love can be expressed in the smallest of gestures, even if the other is too busy sleeping to notice.

Third was "Worship" which was tricky but did the two again being that one cheesy yet wholesome, romantic couple. Words of Encouragement are a big factor in a lasting relationship, and Aeryn is more than willing to give worship to her beloved. (Believe it or not, she fell for him first)

  Started sketching this scene a long while back, and when it came out good, I was like "Why the hell not.  Let's make this digital!"  And this is what came out, a non shaded, backgroundless pic, of Ulaz and Moira, and a little sad snapshot of both of them.  When I post the finished version of this (Cuz this is a work in progress), you can expect to see a very sad oneshot of these two that pertains to the picture itself....prepare to cry soon.  That is my only warning.

After so long, I finally got a paint program on the computer, Medibang paint, and I tried it out by digitally coloring these two here.  At the same time, I also found a suitable color palette for my VLD oc Moira, MY SPACE KITTY FINALLY HAS COLOR!!!!!!!!!!  And I'm especially proud because I made Ulaz look A-okay, unlike my other failed attempts...Anyway, This officially marks that digital art will be available, but not as often as I used to, so it will take my a long time to do another one of these.  Hope ya'll like it!!!!

PS: Yes this officially means that I’m trash for this guy, and so I decided to ship Ulaz with the nerd, out of all things.

Self Reblg part 3 of Kissartfebruary challenge

More pieces for the Kissartfebruary challenge by @violettenouvel , featuring more Voltron OC shenanigans! The days are mixed a little but here is the list

First is Day 5: Stolen with Duram and Aeryn. A moment in their younger years, when the pirate had successfully "Stolen" the Doctor's heart.

Ulaz and Moira are back for Day 8: Shy in the second piece. Moira can be quite shy when it comes to helping out someone close to her, and rather than put her on the spot, best to say nothing and accept the gift.

Third is Day 11: Interrupted which is basically the meme "Why do I hear boss music?" Once more with Younger Ulaz and Moira shenanigans with a surprise feature of Duram the ever watchful father. I don't think he took too kindly to finding out that his daughter is involved with some young Galran trainee he is teaching to be a medic, even if he knows he has good intentions. Aeryn tells him to give some space, but Duram can't help the protective nature, and he would be damned before he gives up his duties as a father. So no problems with "Interrupting" their quality time by keeping an eye on them.
