- Sasha was either very into musical theater or she was in musical theater - Tim’s parents are average height but somehow he ended up getting all those them inches, conclusion: Danny short, Tim tall - Martin isn’t scared of any type of animal, he’s a straight up disney princess, he’ll hug a bear, he’ll cuddle a snake, he’ll pet a wolf, he doesn’t give a shit - I am a firm believer in switch Tim just as much as I am a firm believer that Sasha pegs - the only time Martin is deliberately intimidating is whenever he’s at a bar with friends and they happen to be women; am I saying he’s broken a guy’s hand for touching Sasha’s butt? Now that’s a secret I’ll never tell~ - before the buried Daisy had a mullet, no I don’t take criticism - Jon has never been on a roller coaster - (idk why this exists in my head but I can’t get it out) without either of them knowing it, Basira and Martin went to the same secondary school - Georgie and Jon used to dye the tips of their hair rainbow at pride month when they were dating, and it was always a pain to bleach Jon’s hair - the only thing Martin can play on any instrument is that spongebob song in the ukelele (idk what it’s called but I know it hbjcngjndjgjn) - Jon does the hair towel thing whenever he’s ~feeling himself~ - Melanie would never admit it ‘cause it would ruin her whole aesthetic and reputation but she does like dresses and skirts and flowery things but she’d be damned if anyone ever found out about it (she got damned when she willingly told Georgie about it, she wasn’t even drunk ffs) - Martin and Sasha and you decide which is which my dude - I can’t tell you the logic behind my thought processes but if Agnes were alive rn she’d be a meme lord and if Gertrude were also alive and they were both dating she’d die of exasperation everyday ‘cause ‘wtf is a meme, Agnes dear’ - Gertrude was totally that grandma that would swear like a sailor but the second Gerry would even mutter one he’d get the longest of lectures, every single time - on that note, it was Tim that made Jon swear first time on the job back in the research days and their coworkers still can’t believe it happened - Sasha sucks ass when it comes to sewing and all that shit, she just pokes her fingers and cusses and gives up on it; Martin on the contrary had to learn how to do it from a young age and he’s used to tinkering his clothes to fit him better, so you can already guess what type of situation got them to become friends - Basira is fluent in french - Daisy usually finds the french language a bit annoying to her ears - Basira and Daisy’s first days as partners were filled with french and at least one black eye - speaking of their crime days, there was this one time that Basira’s hijab was falling off so Daisy’s first course of action was to get into a safe corner for a time out and shove Basira’s head under her shirt for coverage - Basira has had 2 sexual awakenings in her life - Rosie matches her shoes with her earrings everyday but no one knows that since her feet don’t show behind her desk - Martin has a huge ass back tattoo that he got in sixth form and it absolutely makes Jon shit himself ‘cause it has the shape of a giant tarantula (half of it is flowers though, it’s very pretty in my head lmao) - Martin used to hang out with the old witch ladies in his neighborhood; they called him their ‘baby witch’ and taught him tarot readings and crystals and all that - no one knows what do to with this information

stan:

he gives such good hugs!!! he got big arms for warmth and for holding, he holds close and he holds tight.

speaking of which, it took a while for him to warm up to receiving affection from me. hes happy to give, but its rare that hes on the receiving end. feeling special is...alien to him. and he wonders if hes allowed to give in to the pampering. (give into the affection staniel give iiiiiiiin)

when he wld get into a fight, either a win or a loss, i take him to the lounge, sit him down and patch him up. cleaning up wounds, wrapping bandages around his fists, applying ice packs to any bruises. he's still getting used to being treated so gently.

we try to make each other laugh! stan is naturally a funny guy so its a major achievement when i tell a joke and he laughs out loud. but hes the one that started this contest. earlier on in our relationship hed try to get a laugh out of people, especially me. any sarcastic comment, any funny quip, remark or joke he made and i laughed at, he'd beam with pride. (i may not have much, but at least im good at this, he thinks) later on i learn its cuz he likes my laugh and he wants to hear it often, to which im like 🥺.......oh

when it comes to compliments, stan can dish it out but he cant take it. one thing that this man is not used to its blunt genuine compliments. i just say smth i genuinely like abt him out of the blue and he like has to stop to process what just happened because what the fuck?? did she?? hello??? "wow stan i rarely see you this focussed! its quite admirable actually. youre just so 'in the zone' yknow?" *keep it together stan keep it together dont lose it* "...........NON SPECIFIC EXCUSE! NYEH!" (smacks stuff off the table and runs)

stan may not know what advice to give, or what words of comfort to use to make a situation better, but by god he will listen, he will listen. he can play the tough guy act all he wants, hes a softie in the inside, and he cares. he wants to help chase the pain away somehow. and sometimes thats all i need, someone to lend an ear. and a hug. luckily stan is great at both of those things.

ford

u said it friend, the only reason why ford glasses are always clean is cuz i clean them for him. the nerd will do ANYTHING and they wld just get dirty. (just carry some lens wipes smh) ford likes the gesture tho, so he probably does this on purpose lmao

i sing songs for him on occasion. (i sing for both of them tbh) nothing fancy, just a lil tune on a ukelele, sometimes its to help ford sleep. one time he caught me practising this song, asked what it was for, and i revealed that i was gonna sing it to him on our first dating anniversary. he pulls me into a kiss after that.

when we sit out in the forest reading books or just sitting and talking, he'd pet my hair. i IMMEDIATELY become putty and i will fall asleep right there.

when we kiss, ford always asks me first before we do it. even after we've long established that a kiss is welcome, he still wants to ask cuz he still gets a bit nervous.

ford insists to help me with my chores when im having a bad day. whether its my period, or exhaustion, or i dealt with smth intimidating/scary, he gently lays me down on the bed and takes over my tasks for the day. which is ironic cuz he will work himself to death, but the moment i feel a little fatigued he stops EVERYTHING to make sure im resting properly before he continues jfhjdshfjds

we hold hands!!! it takes a while for him to warm up to positive contact with his hands, but later on he'll jump to any opportunity to hold mine. the first time we did it, i could tell he was stiffening up, so i looked at him and said "if this is about your hands, im not bothered by them. i never was. you can relax around me." i guess ford took that to heart

going back on me giving blunt compliments, ford is not immune to that either. "yeah i did this because i love you." "oh but i like how fluffy your hair is." "your passion for this stuff is so contagious and its never a bore when you explain all this stuff to me." "ford you're literally a joy to be around." he just starts short-circuiting.

basically were helping each other tear down our walls and letting ourselves be vulnerable to each other (for diff reasons of course) i feel like theres more i cld say rn but isnt that always the case lol

a cute little ask game

a huge thank you to @burieddaydreams for tagging me! this was so much fun to do during my study break!

rules: answer 17 questions, tag 21 blogs. (I wasn’t sure if there were specific questions I had to answer, so I just chose the most interesting from here)

1. blush; what was your stuffed animal as a child?

i had a huge white tiger that I named lucky.

2. bright; mermaids or fairies?

mermaids! the only thing i love more than swimming is not wearing pants.

3. what are your favorite scents?

i really like soft, fall scents. like vanilla, cinnamon, pumpkin.

4. cupcake; favorite flower/plant?

lavender! at the house i grew up in, we had a lot of lavender plants in our backyard. they bloomed around may, which is really close to my birthday, so i always had my birthday party there, in the blooming purple rows.

5. cute; what did you get on your last birthday?

i got a keyboard - the piano kind. i actually got one for my thirteenth birthday, because i really wanted to learn, but it broke about two years ago. so this year i was fortunate enough to get a replacement.

6. cutie pie; most precious item you own?

the first book in the mysterious benedict society series. it’s a children’s book series that is very special to me. my fourth-grade teacher, who is my fav of all time, gave it to me. my dad, who was working quite often at the time, read it to me, and i won an award for writing a report on it.

7. cutsie; what makes you happy?

my dog, the sound of rain, the smell of the beach, that time in the early morning when everyone else is asleep and i can hear my dog snoring, long road trips that don’t feel long because of the company you have, finding a song you know you’re going to play on repeat for weeks, pretty notes, organizing stationary, writing, waking up in the middle of the night - too excited to sleep because of something that’s happening the next day, ukeleles, someone thinking of me.

8. daisies; describe a moment when you felt free.

this is probably such a specific moment, but...

this past summer, my family went to the beach. the particular beach we went to had a long road that led down a hill to the parking. we happened to get stuck at a light on the top of that hill, and it really hit me that we were so close. the sand that had hardly any people on it; the water that seemed to stretch on for miles; the smell of the saltwater; the sound of the seagulls close by. that moment of excitement was the most unworried i’d felt in a long while.

9. daydream; how do you want to be remembered?

as someone you can talk to. i know i’m far too shy to may tons of friends, but to the ones i have, i want to be thought as approachable. like you can vent to me, and i can listen.

or tall, lmao it’s the one thing going for me.

10. delightful; concerts or museums?

i’ve actually never been to a concert, so i’m going to have to say museum. it’s probably just nostalgia, but i have an affinity towards them. my mom is a huge history nerd, as she used to take me to museums as much as she could when i was younger.

11. dimples; have you ever written a letter?

i have! in fact, i’ve written quiet a few! i used to have a couple pen pals through school. i’m thinking about trying to find some more because i really miss it. (lowkey if you wanna be pen pals hit me up)

12. dreams; do you want or have any tattoos?

i don’t have any tattoos, but i do want one. on my wrist, i want a silhouette of a knight from a chess set i have. the chess set is from my tía, who’s passed away, and the reason i want a knight is because of a scene in the mysterious benedict society. i’m bad at explaining things, and this post is already long enough, so i won't go into why i wan that, specifically, but that is the tattoo i want.

13. glittery; do you like anons? why/why not?

yes! the anonymity functions that tumblr has is one of the main reasons i stay on this godforsaken platform. i think it gives people who are too shy (like me) a chance to talk to their favorite blogs.

14. glow; list the top 5 things you like about yourself

my height(i will not shut up about it, thank you), how little i care about what other people think about me, my hair (new and improved lol), how dedicated i become to something i care about, and my growing confidence

15. rainbow; what was the last line of the last book you read?

“The rest of the evening was spent in conjecturing how soon he would return Mr. Bennet's visit, and determining when they should ask him to dinner.“ (from Pride and Prejudice) I just started reading P&P for the first time after years of recommendation from my mom. i think i’m finally old enough to appreciate it.

16. toot; what is something you find unique about yourself?

i would say how little i think things out - and consider that a good thing. it’s nothing crazy, of course. more like, i’ll decide to change something about myself, and then just... go through with it. like recently i decided i wanted short hair, and then had my mom cut it. just like,,, 10 inches gone within 10 minutes of debate.

i have! it was to get a dog. that wish came true, but like 6 years later.

i try to confront it. if i failed even after confronting it, i accept that it’s simply just not meant to be. which sucks if you think about it, but i am way too passive for my well being.

traveling, and maybe saving that money for my future children and their college intuition.

um, probably my relationship with people now. i don’t have a lot of artsy friends except maybe four; but even so, putting my effort all in an animation project requires a lot of independent work.

my sophomore and junior year english teacher, mrs. beatty. she never forgot about me despite how quiet of a kid i was, and she always believed in my fullest potential.

dr. vanstrom, my human anatomy & physiology teacher is really great too, i consider her a really great teacher, but i have no person relationship with her.

90. What’s your fondest childhood memory?

my old family friend, christopher, and i were vacationing with our families at lake arrowhead during winter break when i was like, eight i think. there’s this very quaint townsquare near the area we were staying at, and the two of us walked around the townsquare.

we really freaked our parents out though, because they thought that we were lost or kidnapped because we left without supervision or telling them where we were going, but i remember going to a candy store to get gummy bears in the freezing cold.

it doesn’t take me a lot to cry over anything, trust me.

it’s okay to miss people from a distance, but it’s not okay to ask them to come back. i think it’s important that the toxic relationships you decide to refrain from is a very valid and hard decision to make, so i’m proud of you if you get out of it. you deserve so much better to put yourself back into such a vicious cycle.
