Karma: But why act so smug? You won by only 1.8% :P
Gakushuu: Shut it—a win is a win.
———
Some doodles based on this very hectic poll. I know I’m a little late, but I’m also on a trip up north rn.
A hint of AsaKanza because I haven’t drawn AC in a while, and I’d like to include the gal. That, and I got some encouragement from Luna to include Yukiko.
That, and because I be hella biased towards my favorites, as y’all should know by now :P

So can I request a dilf pro hero deku x young pop star reader that gives off y2k, arianna, bey, doja type of vibes and I have seen the hate you have been getting couple days back and I truly hope your doing ok and don’t mind them because they just jealous they can’t do it like you
I’m a simple woman, i see dilf deku and i respond :) and thank you anon you’re very sweet :3 and yeah i’m fine, just out here living my best life :))
Request for: Izuku Midoriya Warnings: kids :), i really really tried to pull the right vibes but damn it was kinda hard even though i love these kids of vibes it’s hard being stupid, age difference i guess (it’s by 10 years and both parties are fully consenting adults (by US standards)) ~~~
“Have you heard the rumors?”
It’d be hard not to at this point. The so-called rumors had spread entirely throughout hero culture let alone Japan.
“She’s what? Half his age?”
No, actually, not at all. A few years difference, sure, but not nearly enough to garner the attention it was getting. But then again, a hero - a father prohero - dating a pop sensation was already a scoop, the fact that she was younger didn’t help.
Midoriya, Nozomi had cornered herself into a chair while makeup artists and hairdressers alike ran through the dressing room. She was supposed to be doing homework, but hey, a chance at going backstage to the Japan Record Awards didn’t come and go as easily as homework. Besides, (Y/n) promised not to tell her father.
“Where’s your dad? We have to see that our outfits match before going out.”
Nozomi paused her mindless doodling on spare paper to look at her dad’s girlfriend, “Uhh, bathroom? Nervous puking maybe.”
A soft chuckle and (Y/n) was trying to hold still best she could for her eyeliner, “Gross. Hope he’s feeling okay. Poor thing gets so anxious before these.”
“I can go knock on the door if you want?”
“That’d be great, thank you,” (Y/n) refrained from nodding, last thing she wants is to be a hassle for the crew.
Watching as Nozomi stalked off through the rushing people, (Y/n) felt her heart warm at how well the little girl was rounding in life. Izuku had raised her well after his ex-wife left. Not that it was a surprise.
She’d met Inko and that woman was an incredible mother, it was likely she was putting her two cents in whenever Izuku needed them. Izuku himself had turned out splendidly - respectful, sweet, selfless. Sure, he was not without flaw, but that only made him more perfect in (Y/n)’s mind.
A man carved at the universe’s hands.
“Talk about daddy issues.”
Izuku had heard the whispers first-hand. His colleagues at U.A could be less-than-kind about his relationship. His own interns at his agency would murmur whenever (Y/n) came around. Whether it was recognition or judgment, he didn’t care to know.
She’d said she didn’t mind with that cute smile of hers. He wanted to believe her, he really did, but nobody could be totally unaffected by the stares no matter how long they were in the spotlight.
“Dad? What’re you doing in the hall? (Y/n)’s almost ready.”
Jumping slightly, Izuku placed a hand over his heart at the fright of suddenly hearing his daughter’s voice. He smiled softly at the young girl, “Just nerves, don’t worry about me,” he tapped the button of his daughter’s nose, “What’re you doing in the hall, little lady? Hmm?”
“Getting you,” Nozomi huffed, swatting at her father’s hand, “Don’t do that.”
“Alright, alright,” he shrugged before turning the girl by her shoulder and walking her back to the dressing room, “You plan on wearing your school uniform out or do you wanna actually put on the dress we bought you?”
“She’s too young to be taking on that responsibility.”
Most people saying that were parents far before (Y/n) even met Nozomi, and Izuku tried keeping that in mind.
Looping his arm through (Y/n)’s, he felt his chest burst in remembrance of why the whispers didn’t matter. All that mattered were his daughter and the love of his life. If he could have them both, nothing could sway him.
“Ready?”
“If you are,” (Y/n) giggled, picking up the tail of her Cinderella dress, “I’m ready to win my award, if that’s what you’re asking.”
“Cocky,” Izuku teased briefly, stepping out onto the carpet and into the flashing lights of cameras and shouted questions of prying reporters.
“Well yeah, my song was everywhere, babe,” she shrugged off, “Americans were blasting it. My shit’s good.”
“It is, I’ll agree on that.”
“How does it feel to date a dad ten years older than you?”
(Y/n) blinked in surprise at the sudden question, craning her neck to peek at whoever had spoken, “I’m sorry?”
“Darling, don’t,” Izuku sighed quietly, “You’ll get in trouble.”
“No, no, what was the question?”
The reporter cleared their throat, a smarmy grin smeared over his face, “How does it feel to date a dad ten years older than you?”
Laughing in pure shock at the man’s boldness, (Y/n) grinned throughout her response, “Pretty great honestly, but uh, how does it feel to be so devoid of boundaries you try to make someone insecure about their relationship?”
Izuku awkwardly chuckled as the reporter stopped in his tracks, beginning to drag his girlfriend away, “You didn’t have to say that.”
She hummed in a carefree manner, clearly disinterested in any consequences of her actions, “He had it coming.”

USS Butterscotch (part 2)
read part one HERE.
Warinings: language, not TOO smutty (PG-13 like)
Tumblr media
You looked at yourself in the mirror, judging the outfit that you picked out getting ready to go to the mall to meet up with Steve. You picked out a pair of high waisted black pants and a crop top with half your hair into a scrunchie. you stuffed some clothes and your books in your backpack and started walking back to the mall.
You were grateful that the mall was walking distance from your home. You told your parents you were helping Beth out with some homework and would probably not be home till the morning (not that you were expecting to stay over Steve’s or anything. Just a precaution.)
You arrived at 8:45pm, a little early but you didn’t want to be locked out. You made your way past the glowing Sam Goody entrance. There was only a couple more people in the mall and you’ve never seen it so empty. It was almost quiet. There was a group of girls giggling to themselves while sharing a basket of fries and an older couple with some bags in their hands walking toward the exit.
You walked into Scoops to see Robin counting money while Steve took time to split the tip jar.
“Looks like we get three dollars and sixty seven cents each. More than yesterday.” Steve said before noticing you.
“Y/N! Glad you’re here.” Steve walked around giving you a small hug.
“Sorry, I think I’m a bit early.”
He shook his head, “Right on time. Looks like we can leave a bit early since there’s no customers coming in.”
“You guys can go, I’ll lock up once I’m finished counting. have fun you two.” Robin smiled.
“Oh, thanks Robin. See you tomorrow night.”
—
Steve opened the door for you and slammed it shut after you were finished settling in.
“Your car is nice. Very spacious.” You cringed, not really knowing why you would talk about the space in the car.
He chuckled, “Thanks. I like when my passengers feel comfortable.”
He pulled up to his house that was completely dark.
“My parents are out of down for a couple days. Sorry I forgot to mention it earlier.”
“Don’t worry about it. It’ll be quiet so we can get more reading done.” You winked.
“That’s true.”
He showed you up the stairs to his bedroom, “You’re okay if we read here?”
“Steve, I don’t care where we are. I just wanna be with you.” You smiled.
“Well, you’re in luck, cause I’m not going anywhere.” he fell back onto his bed.
You weren’t sure if you should make a move, but what do you have to lose? You joined him on the bed. You laid on top of his arm that was sprawled across the bed.
“You look cute in this uniform.” You bit your lip, hoping that he was okay with you being kinda forward.
“I do don’t I? It’s kinda itchy though.” He laughed.
“Oh no! It looks comfy honestly.” You laughed.
“You must come work with us then. Robin and I could use some help on the weekends.”
You weren’t sure if he was serious or not, so you just went with it, “Hey, always looking for some other way to make money other than babysitting my neighbors kids.” You laughed, laying down on his arm. You wanted nothing more than to kiss him.
“Can I tell you something?” Steve said, looking at you.
“You can tell me anything.” You said.
“I really want to kiss you.” Steve looked at you, then moved his stare to your lips. He anxiously waited for your response, hoping that it’s positive.
“Then do it.” You got closer to his face.
He leaned in and pressed his lips to yours. They moved in sync with each other at a slow pace. You could tell he was hesitant with using his tongue so you pulled away.
“I’ve wanted to do that for a while.” Steve confessed.
“Why didn’t you?” You asked.
He sighed, “Rejection mostly. Since that’s all I’ve been getting these days.”
“I get it, I was nervous going into Scoops today. I really like you so I was like- ‘what if he rejects me.’ I would have been so embarrassed.” You said.
“You’re too pretty to ever be rejected.” Steve lightly rubbed your hip.
“YOU’RE too pretty to get rejected, Steve. I’ve literally had a crush on you since forever.” you said.
“Wait, really? So I should have asked you out sooner? Damn.” He rested his head back against his bed.
“Well, now’s your chance.” You said, sitting up in a pretzel style.
“Okay. Umm… gosh I hope I don’t fuck this up,” he took your hands, “Sweet, sweet Y/N, will you go on a date with me sometime, maybe this weekend? I only work till 5:00 on Saturday, we could go see Back To The Future?”
“I would love that Steve Harrington.” You placed a quick kiss on his lips, which turned into a full makeout.
Minutes later, he breaks away, “Do you wanna sleepover tonight? I have clothes and stuff you can wear.”
“I’m gonna be honest- I actually brought clothes with me just in case you asked, but I would much rather wear your clothes.”
“Oh well look at you!”
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean anything of it because I didn’t know if you were into me so I just brought them just in case.”
“I’m kidding, love.”
“Do you mind if I get changed in here?”
“By all means, pajamas are in the bottom drawer.” He pointed over to the dresser on the opposite side of the room.
You searched through the filled drawer and searched for a pair of pajama pants and a grey shirt.
“I can look away if you-“
Before he finished his sentence, you top was already off, showing your baby pink bra. You quickly put on one of Steve’s gray school t-shirt. You slid off your shorts and put on a pair of cotton pants.
Steve couldn’t help himself by taking a glance at you, however, he didn’t look for too long out of respect for your privacy and plus, he didn’t want to look like a creep. He ran his hand through his hair and got up himself to get out of his itchy work uniform.
You heard a loud sigh as Steve took off his shirt, scratching his chest and most of his back.
“Why don’t you just wear an undershirt if it’s too itchy.”
“I never really thought about it, it really only starts to get uncomfortable at the end of the shift.”
“Well, that’s a good thing I guess. Maybe try wearing one one day and see how it feels.”
“I’ll take that into consideration.” Steve said, walking over to you in his boxers to find a t-shirt.
You weren’t sure if you were taking things too quickly, you just saw each other half naked and haven’t even been out on a real date yet.
Steve walked over to the bed and laid down, getting under the covers.
“What are you doing?” you ask.
“Uhh, probably going to bed. I’m tired. Now, will you come in and join me?” he patted the mattress.
“Uhh, we have homework to do.”
Steve’s head hit the pillow, “Can’t we do that in the morning?”
“Are you really gonna wanna wake up like an hour early?”
Steve thought for a second, “Yeah, you’re probably right.”
You laughed and shook your head, walking over to your backpack to pull out the book and threw it on the bed. “You know Mr. Miller is gonna have a pop quiz tomorrow.”
“He’s an asshole and he always pulls that shit.” Steve said.
“Shut up and read to me, Harrington.” you lay down next to him and close your eyes while he was reading, even though you already know what was gonna happen.
“Hey, if I can’t sleep, you can’t either.” he nudged you.
“I’m not sleeping. I’m simply resting my eyes.”
“Okay well, resting your eyes isn’t allowed.”
Your eyes were on Steve as he occasionally looked at you just in case you fell asleep, and to be honest, you were just about to.
--
You woke up just before daylight. You looked over at the clock reading 5:30am. A sleeping Steve Harrington lays cuddled up next to you. The book still sitting next to him. You snuggled closer to Steve, careful not to wake him up. The dull light outside helped you make out his face. You wrapped your free arm around his waist and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips causing him to gently moan, but he was still fast asleep.
You turned around and put one of his arms around you, bringing his hand up for you to use as a pillow, this caused Steve to wake up a little,
“Morning.” he mumbled.
“Good morning, Go back to sleep, it’s only 5:30.” you turned your head enough to kiss his nose.
Moments later, he was out like a light and so were you.
--
You two were rudely awakened at 6:30 by the ringing of the clock you swore you just looked at.
Steve reached over you to turn the damn thing off.
“Sorry about that.” Steve groaned.
“Well, we have to be woken up somehow.” you flipped over to face him.
“I can’t wait until we fucking graduate.” Steve looked up at the ceiling.
“Only two more weeks till graduation. We can do it.” you leaned up to kiss his cheek.
“Sorry I fell asleep on you last night. Did you finish the chapters?”
“I did. Turns out that book isn’t that bad. But, do you need me to tell you what happened?”
“No. I already read it actually.” you admitted.
“Then why did you say you didn’t?”
“Because,” you sat up on your arm, tucking some hair behind his ear, “I wanted to hang out with you and thought you might want some company doing homework.”
“You could have just said so, Y/N. Not that I’m mad or anything that a pretty girl wanted to study with me.” he leaned up to press a kiss on your lips.
“I don’t know. I just thought this would be the first step to a relationship. You know, if you were up to it it could have started out as a friendship then we could see where it went from there, but, now that you have already asked me out. We can skip that step.”
Steve pulls you on top of him to bring you in for a passionate kiss, this time, using his tongue. His hands found their way up the inside of your (his) shirt you were wearing. They were warm and you loved the way he was lightly massaging your skin.
Before you got too into it, you stopped.
“C’mon, Harrington. Let’s get up and get ready for school.”
The weekend could not come fast enough.

@animaliae
ok first off i’m sorry i took so long to reply!! i’ve been busy in the most tedious way possible so my brain’s not exactly my best friend right now. second off: THANK U SO MUCH these were so fun to answer!!
i’m putting all of these in the same post because i started talking and i could not Shut The Up, and i think one atrociously long post is better than four long posts when it comes to like, scrollability. scrollpastability? scroll-Something. and putting it under a readmore too for the same reasons
SO, from top to bottom:
weirdest character idea for D-N-D:
it’s an idea i’ve already had because i can’t come up with anything right now dksjfgbd, but
once i made a druid for a D//N/D-based CRPG who only cast spells when they gave him something edible (in theory ofc, the game didn’t let me eat my summoned bears... thankfully...), so i ended up with nothing but goodberries and several animal summoning spells. then i proceeded to cheat my way through the game, which defeated the point sdfgsd, but it was still fun concept-wise
also made me spend too much time wondering if the entangle spell’s vines could be eaten. i mean you can’t eat the WHOLE thing but maybe you could like, munch on it a little, or try to slurp it up like a noodle. it wouldn’t be tasty, it wouldn’t be easy, and it most definitely would not be healthy, but it’s like. the principle of the thing
if ur asking yourself WHY i did that… well there aren’t THAT many D/ND-based CRPGS out there and i’d already played that one —several times, in fact— so i wanted to try something different :0
i mean it’s not THAT weird tbh, but he’s the only OC i can think of right now that soooooort of fits? and my brain is like, a tundra of creativity at the moment. a deep tar pool that absorbs all inspiration and drags it, kicking and screaming, to its viscous doom. well you get the idea. or i hope you do because i sure fucking don’t
ideal ending for one of my characters:
hmmmm for like, original fiction characters i more or less have all their endings planned out? most of them ARE ideal because i am fully in control of their destinies and i am also a softhearted lidle bich who prefers stories with relatively uplifting/happy endings. or tbh even the ones that aren’t technically happy are still ideal in terms of character arcs, development, etc
(i might be giving myself way too much credit there though skdjgbdksjfg)
and —though this is super unlikely and mostly just me deceiving myself at this point— i do want to publish what i’m working on rn, so talking about endings would be a spoiler for something that does not exist and probably never will outside of my idiot fool head. so i’m gonna talk about an old OC that i’m not doing anything with anymore!
her name was elina and her entire deal was that she came from a family of very powerful witches who owned a, uh, i guess you could call it an archive? or a library?? idk, it was just an ABSURDLY large collection of magic-related books, and it pretty much contained all known arcane knowledge (though come think of it, “all known arcane knowledge” can’t have been THAT much because the archive was just one room. a huge fucking monster of a room yeah but like. still just One)
so anyway, her family members were very dutiful + responsible when it came to the archivelibraryroom thing, but they were also too traditional for her tastes? like they didn’t bother practicing/using magic, or experimenting, or looking for anything outside of books; they only cared about written things, and even then they did nothing but get the Very Important Books, put them in the archivelibraryroom and forget about them completely
then elina ran into a group of other magic-users who were investigating a weird phenomenon in her hometown, and she asked her family about it, but they essentially were like “oh if it doesn’t affect the books we don’t care lol anyway it’s your turn to clean the archivelibrary now”
but yeah i’m sure y’all can tell where this is going kjdfgbd elina was the typical YA protag in that she was super rebellious, so she turned her back on her family and left her house to help the group of inconveniently yet stereotypically teenage magic-users, made friends, learned about magic, blah blah blah
the issue is that i never gave that story an ending? like the closest thing to it was a vague “uhhhh elina goes back home to find the archivelibrary is burning down and pulls some kind of mysterious water magic out of her ass to save it; then her family apologizes, they begin to respect her and she stays with them to keep caring for the archivelibrary, But With A Progressive Twist”
the issue was that after writing around two chapters i realized i didn’t actually Have a plot, so i didn’t know what story that ending would be... ending... and since i couldn’t think of anything + i wasn’t THAT attached to the characters anyway i just gave up on it
but now that i’m thinking of it again, just for the sake of ending the Story That Never Was, i feel like making her earn the respect of her family just because she saved the books + proved she actually cares about that too is, idk, shallow? out of character?
because she believed that her family’s fixation on history + Neatly Documented stuff was holding them back and making things worse for everyone. she left her home behind because her ideals re.: magic —that it should grow and change to fit the context + people’s needs, and not the other way around— were so strong
OOF THIS IS GETTING SO FUCKING LONG KSDJGB i’m just gonna stop here and say: elina’s new ideal ending is pretty much that while she ends up in friendly terms with her family —because, in spite of their fundamental disagreements, they never hurt her— she doesn’t go back home and chooses to travel around the world instead, helping people in whichever way possible and freely sharing her knowledge with anyone who’s willing to listen and, at the same time, learning from them
i mean, the concept’s not too original ksjdbg just something i thought of super quick, and that’s just a half-assed attempt at closure for an OC i made when i was like… 9
headcanons about my favs:
ok this one’s hard because i’m not into any like… fandom things right now? i haven’t found anything that rly interests me or that i could see myself being passionate about, which sucks because i do kinda miss being into stuff with Established Content :(
so i’ve been focusing on my OCs + original stories and such. and i’m not sure if OC headcanons count as headcanons because i control canon so technically everything i come up with IS canon. then again it’s headcanon too because it’s a canon from my head because that’s where ideas come from. okay wait i’m not making any cents here x
but uhh knowing me i might think of something right after publishing this, so if that happens i’ll come back and edit this post :0
also just saying but if any of y’all know of something i could get into then lmk, i’m open to suggestions! preferably free stuff though... i’m beset by capitalisms
a favorite scene that i loved:
i can’t remember any in particular right now, either from my #content or somebody else’s SDFKJGBDF god my mind 😔 well i mean i’m gonna be a little bit full of meself and say that i’ve written things that i really like, especially imagery-wise, but i Also want to publish those someday… like i’ve also written original/OC-related stuff that i don’t plan on publishing, but i’m not THAT proud of them tbh :/
i was —emphasis on was— trying to write a short story about jasna (one of my D-N/D OCs, a cleric of oghma) that never really went anywhere, but i did post a snippet on my OC blog, and that’s what i hate the least out of all my recent attempts at writing? so i’m just gonna put it here again ig sdfgs (not actually linking to the OC blog post because it’s kind of a mess rn, i need to fix the theme + clean it up a bit)

Swimmer!Ong Seongwoo
Tumblr media
i have a cold please excuse if stuff is spelt wrong also welcome to wanna1things seongwoo,, finally,, enjoy your stay, also there’s something special coming later (tomorrow??) pls anticipate,,
Genre;; fluff + another one of these real life aus… this is swimmer!seongwoo bc… he competitive... AND HIGH SCHOOL AU!!!
Warnings;; ? none ? unless if u don’t like water don’t read
Pairing;; Ong Seongwoo x reader
Requested;; nooo but i promise i’ll get to the requests eventually!! I meant to do them last night but instead i slept for 12 hours
Summary;; Seongwoo is on the same swimming team as you. When you bet on who can win their race, you don’t expect him to have won the competition and your heart.
Style;; bullet point
Word Count;; 1221
Similar works (real life aus);;  Jinyoung | Minhyun | Daniel | Jihoon | Jisung | Jaehwan | Minki | Aron
this comes entirely from the fact that i used to be a professional swimmer and i went swimming today so theres a theme,,
you were the best swimmer on your local team until seongwoo turned up
one day you walked into practice and this,, boy was just doing lengths of every stroke
including doggy paddle because, hey, he regarded it as a stroke yknow
when he finished he introduced himself to the class as ‘the one and only ong seongwoo’ and revealed he’d just moved here, so obviously he had to join a different swim team
WHILE HE DID THIS HE DID THAT THING WITH HIS EARS and the whole team was shooketh
your teacher put you two in a lane together because,, you were the best two swimmers
but you noticed every time you’d stop swimming seongwoo would kick a load of water in your direction like. nice. thanks.
when it was time for you to do those exercises where you have to swim through the hoops on the pool floor while carrying a heavy block you and seongwoo were forced to team up
honestly he was the most annoying human ever
he actually ‘dropped’ the block at your feet every time it was your turn to swim through the hoop with it
so you had to swim to the bottom of the pool to pick up the block AS WELL as swimming through the hoop
you couldn’t imagine it could get any worse
but it did
you had to do ‘leg strengthening’ exercises aka
you hold a foam board (uhh they’re called floaties here but idk if this is universal so) and the other person grabs your legs and you have to swim a length of the pool like that
yeah uh
seongwoo kept kicking so hard that you had to let go of his legs
you thanked god that you could tread water as you watched seongwoo speed off to the end of the pool and turned around, flashing you that winning smile
like okay sure he’s beautiful but hE’S ANNOYING ME
when the session is over you throw a dirty look seongwoos way, which he laughs at and then walks into the changing room with the teammates he’s made friends with
all the time while you’re getting dressed again your head is filled with
‘who does that beautiful boy think he IS???’
when you finally finish getting dressed you walk outside and who is there
you guessed it, seongwoo
he stands up straight when he sees you and smiles
“let me buy you a hot chocolate, y/n, it’s cold”
you don’t even question how he knows your name already you just assume he asked a teammate or your coach
of course you take him up on the offer like ,, free hot chocolate
you’re expecting him at least to take you to like starbucks or something but
he goes over to the machine… and buys you a hot chocolate for 20 cents from the machine
honestly i mean at least it’s something
he gets one for himself and then passes you yours, and starts walking off
you shout a ‘thank you’ at his disappearing figure to which he waves his hand
you take a sip of the hot chocolate and its kinda bitter but i mean it’s warm and it is cOLD outside
and you make your way home
the hot chocolate makes you so sleepy you practically fall asleep as soon as you enter through your doorway lol
thank god you got that sleep because you were going to need it the next morning
when you walked into your first class, who was sitting at the desk next to yours?
you guessed it
ong seongwoo
when you sit down next to him he passes you another hot chocolate
and then gets on with his work… being… surprisingly not that annoying
that is until you take a sip of your hot chocolate and realise
he just put salt in it. nice, thanks
you hit him over the shoulder and he starts laughing uncontrollably
and honestly, you just ignore him for the rest of the day
you keep this up for a good few weeks and honestly you’re gradually getting less annoyed with him and finding it more funny??
especially when he stops pranking you and instead gets you to help him prank other people
especially sungwoon, y’all replaced the ketchup with death chilli sauce one day at lunch and while sungwoon felt like he was dying you two were dying from laughter
there was a massive swim competition coming up, it was a regional one which would be your first like,, big one lol
you were doing front crawl and seongwoo was doing butterfly (he strikes me as that particular kind of human that’s amazing at butterfly don’t @ me)
so you had to split up for practice
you realised you missed him a lot?? and you’d really started to like him like… you were honestly developing feelings for him lol
he still would get you the hot chocolate afterwards, but he upgraded from machine hot chocolate to actual coffee shop hot chocolate gradually
on friday, after the last practice before the competition, seongwoo approached you with the usual hot chocolate
he walked with you outside of the pool which you thought was weird because,, he lives the other way lol
when you got out of the car park seongwoo stopped you and stopped sipping on his hot chocolate
“y/n, lets make a bet about the competition”
you were just like hm okay sounds fun
“if i win i can do what i’ve been wanting to do for a long time”
“ambiguous, but okay. as long as it doesn’t involve me eating death chilli sauce i’m okay”
“wait for it, if YOU win you have to kiss me hahaha”
“??seongwoo wtf??”
honestly this made your heart race a bit but you know it was just seongwoo,, joking
“i’m serious, you have to win now!! now i’ve given you all the motivation you need to win!!”
typical seongwoo
he leaves you after you two shake hands and part ways
you don’t see him again until sunday, the day of the competition
when you see him at the poolside he winks, does finger guns and shouts “remember the promise”
honestly you cringe and go to sit down in the area for front crawl swimmers
when it’s the turn for your race the nerves take over and it’s like;; you forgot how to swim
you don’t do badly, you got second, but you were really far below your personal best and when you got out of the pool seongwoo was all pouty lol
but then it was seongwoo’s turn to swim
he started off quite slow and quite far behind and you were like lol why is he being so relaxed
and suddenly out of nowhere he sped up and ended up coming first by… a very far margin
when he gets out of the pool he comes running (but not running because pool safety!!) over to you and pulls you out of the seat and into a kiss
when he pulls away with a smirk on your face the first thing you say is
“why though, i didn’t even win my race”

Purple for Lucifer, Lapis for Leverett, and Maroon for Dione!!!
Purple - Is there magic in your world? if so, describe how it works
Lucifer: Uhhh yeah?? Ok, disclaimer: I ain’t good at explaining how anything works, much less magic but here’s my two cents:
From what I remember from off the top of my head, magic gets its energy from godly anomaly causing entities like my dad, Trinity. That energy sorta like… radiates from that God and it basically spreads across the universe and all that stuff. If you’re smart, you’d know that people could channel that energy for their own use. The thing is, you need to put your will into it with little to no distractions and you need to practice this a lot because if you don’t, lots of things can go to shit. Like, you gotta know EXACTLY what you want to do or else it’ll turn out like The Monkey’s Paw and fuck shit up or cause big ass reality breaking anomalies. You don’t want that. Most people learn a sort of mantra in order to keep yourself focused on the task at hand. Uhhhh that’s about as complex as I’m gonna go since I need to brush up on this but that’s the general idea.
Lapis - What is your opinion on religion and the afterlife?
Leverrett: Uhh… tough question. Before all of… this, I’d tell you that I was atheist and I’d leave it at that. But now, I’m not sure what I’m called if I KNOW that Heaven and Hell exists but I still don’t like it. Like, knowing Hell is real didn’t make me automatically religious, it just made me realize that my fundy school was both right about Hell but completely wrong about it too?? I mean, my shit school sucks at teaching anything useful but I didn’t think they’d be THAT bad. Not like I was planning on going to Hell, I guess but still.… Am I still an atheist or am I something else?
Anyways, religion never really was as comforting to me as much as to someone else but I’m not gonna take that away from them if it’s doing them good and they’re not forcing shit on to anyone. I don’t really like the idea of an afterlife either because… let’s just say that my school’s “education” made me paranoid of damnation. Now that I know Hell is real, I’m almost glad that it wasn’t like how my school said it was gonna be but… that idea didn’t really comfort me for long.
Maroon - What are you most passionate about?
Dione: Well, I’ve always loved painting! It’s a hobby I have that keeps me on ground and pretty relaxed and it’s been true for me ever since kindergarten. Though, I guess I’ve been putting that off ever since Lev disappeared. It’s been getting hard to focus on anything these days b-but maybe I’ll get back on my feet when I find closure regarding her… I hope at least.

Alternate Coffee Universe
Jaehyun x Gender Neutral Reader, Slight Doyoung x Reader
Writer: Jaime
Previous Parts: Netflix and Chill, Blanket Burrito, Stormy Weather
Next Parts: The Unpleasantly Pleasant, First Dates and Hospital Trips
Masterlist
So when you said you were going to handle it yourself, you really meant you were going to do all you could to avoid Jaehyun. Which meant you got to class as late as you could without being, like, actually late, and you left as soon as the professor stopped speaking, meaning there was no time to interact with Jaehyun at all. You were pretty proud of how well you were doing; there hadn’t been an incident in over a week, so you would say that was progress even if it was avoidance plain and simple and not actually solving your problem. Your friends, although disappointed they didn’t have any new and entertaining stories from your life, were happy that you weren’t embarrassing yourself in front of your crush anymore. Well there was that one time when you were out with Mark, but we don’t talk about that. Not one of your best moments to be sure. But other than that, things were pretty uneventful on the Jaehyun front, which was pretty good in your opinion.
“I hate life,” Doyoung groaned from beside you as the two of you were studying in the library late one night.
“Life hates you back,” you grumbled in reply while flipping a page in your textbook. “Life hates all of us.”
“I feel like my eyes are going to close and literally never open again.”
“Then this is the end… it was nice knowing you, bro.”
You two shared a weak high-five before focusing on the notes in front of you as best you could while fighting off the sweet tendrils of sleep. Eventually the two of you got to the point that you could either throw in the towel or get some coffee and actually have a chance of passing. So you gathered all your supplies and left the library in search of the hot miracle drug that could protect you from falling asleep like you so desperately wanted to. You linked arms with Doyoung and pressed closer to him in the hopes that some of his warmth would transfer over to you and chase away the winter chill that threatened to settle in your bones.
“Damn, it’s freezing,” he choked out as he shoved his hands in his jacket pockets. “I guess I should invest in some warmer layers, huh?”
“You and me both. I feel like my limbs are about to fall from my body.”
“C’mon, let’s hurry up. I think I see a coffee shop across the street over there.”
Thankfully the red hand was only blinking as you approached, so the two of you sprinted across the street and held onto each other as Doyoung’s feet slipped on the slick ground. His hands were practically clawing at your arms in an attempt to stay upright and not sprawled out on the ice.
“Dude, we do not have time for this!” you hissed. “I need my coffee now!”
“Alright, alright, geez. No need to be so snappy.” He was about to follow you inside when something on the curb caught his eye. “Hey, go in and order me something, will you? Ten asked me to get today’s newspaper.”
“Why? Since when does he even read?”
“Since he’s required to for some project or something. Just order me a drink?”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just hurry because I forgot my wallet at home.”
        “Are you serious?”
“Oh please, I’ve bought you plenty of coffee. I think you can spare the cash this one time.”
He smirked at you. “So does this technically make tonight a date?”
        “Right. You’d be so lucky.”
“Ah, that’s right, the cute dimple boy, am I right?” he teased while digging in his pocket for some change. “Haven’t heard any stories about him recently.”
“Yeah… I’ve kind of been avoiding him.”
Doyoung shook his head and gave you a sympathetic smile. “Ah, Y/N, why do you do that? Your awkwardness isn’t as off-putting as you seem to think; it’s actually one of the things I like best about you.”
        “I, uh… I’m just… cool! I’m gonna go get that coffee now!”
He laughed as you escaped inside and finally fished a few cents from his pocket. Meanwhile, you stared up at the menu as you approached the counter, mentally comparing which drinks Doyoung would like best and adding up how much it would all cost if you added in some cookies. Finally you came to a decision and nodded, lifting your head to smile at the employee and or—holy shit.
“Hey, Y/N,” Jaehyun greeted with a smile. “Funny that I never see you in class anymore yet you stumble into the coffee shop I work at. Doing some late-night studying?”
“Uhh…” SAY SOMETHING ALREADY! “Yep! Came to fuel up on some coffee so we can actually get stuff done, y’know?”
“We?” He glanced behind you to see the guy squatting and fiddling with the newspaper machine out front. “You with him?”
“Unfortunately,” you sighed with a fond roll of your eyes. “So, uh, can I get two large cups of black coffee and uh… what are your thoughts on the shortbread cookies?”
Jaehyun blinked at you before replying, “Yeah, no, they’re great! Everyone who comes in seems to like them.”
        “Oh, great, we’ll take five!”
“Are you seriously ordering a bunch of stuff because you know I’m paying?” came Doyoung’s tired question. “Y/N, come on, you know I’m not made of money.”
You grinned at Jaehyun and winked. “I forgot my wallet at home and now he has to pay, how great is that?”
        “Yeah, uh, sounds great.”
“Hey, Jaehyun, how you doing?” Doyoung greeted the other boy as if they were good friends.
        “Wait, you know Jaehyun?”
“Yeah, we had a few classes together last year.”
“Wow… I did not know that.”
“You know, Y/N, I think this is the longest you’ve ever talked to me without running away or finding some excuse to leave,” Jaehyun told you with a small smile, showing off those dimples of his that could make you cry. “I’m kind of impressed.”
Your eyes widened in horror as Doyoung’s widened in realization. Oh shit, abort. ABORT, ABORT, ABORT! You slowly shuffled your feet backwards, hoping to make a quick escape, but Doyoung’s hand darted out to wrap around your arm and keep you in place. Oh, no. Oh no, no, no. This was bad. This was very, very bad.
“So, Jaehyun, do you have any classes with Y/N?”
“We have class together on Thursday mornings, actually.”
        “Oh, is that so?”
He gazed down at you curiously, causing you to laugh nervously. “Surprise?”
“Jaehyun, do you think you could add a couple brownies to the order too?” Doyoung asked politely as Jaehyun started to get to work on their order. “I think I’m going to spend the rest of tonight eating my feelings.”
“Oh, boy, here comes the drama queen,” you muttered under your breath.
“Hey, shhhh, I’m entitled to this much, okay?”
“Oh my god,” you groaned and threw back your head in annoyance. “It’s literally not that big of a deal.”
“Okay, but here me out, it literally is.”
“Uh, what are you guys talking about?” Jaehyun asked as he took the cash Doyoung handed him. “You okay, bro?”
“Oh, yeah, totally fine. After I eat all this junk food and regret it tomorrow,” Doyoung answered with a shrug. “Don’t worry about it.” He waved off Jaehyun’s concern and went to sit by the window. “Don’t mind me! I’ll just be sitting over here!”
“Hey, uh, is he doing okay? Like for real?”
“Um… I think so?” You awkwardly kicked the floor as you thought of what to say next. “Hey, uh, Jaehyun, I just… I need to get something off my chest real quick. So, um, you know when I made us all uncomfortable when I said those things about your dimple? And then I said I was drugged when I said those things? Yeah, um, that was a lie. I, um… I kind of like you? And so… so yeah.”
        “Oh…”
        “Haha, yeah.”
You both stood there in awkward silence, neither of you really knowing what to say. While Jaehyun’s escape came in the form of your coffee being ready, you glanced over your shoulder to look at Doyoung staring out the window. He was probably thinking of how much work he had left to do, and here you were flirting—okay not really this was just awkward speaking—with the barista.
“Thanks.” You grabbed the coffee and bag of treats and offered him a smile. “Listen, Jaehyun, about what I said… I do like you, but I also kind of… well… oh shit, I don’t even know.”
“Y/N, you can relax, okay? I understand. I, uh… I kind of do the same thing around you too.” He bit his lip to hide his smile as best he could. “You guys should get going. Wouldn’t want you guys to get to your classes exhausted tomorrow. But, uh… when you come into class next time and see me… I’d really appreciate it if you wouldn’t avoid me because… I kind of like you too.”
You looked up at him in shock, not fully comprehending what was happening right now. Was this really happening? Looking over and seeing you frozen, Doyoung rolled his eyes and came back over to start dragging you towards the door.
“Thanks, Jaehyun!” he called back to the dimpled boy. “Hope the coffee’s as good as Y/N claims!”
“Bye guys!” He smiled at you and winked, sending your heart into overdrive. “I’ll see you in class, Y/N.”
        “R-right… class…”
Doyoung ended up having to practically carry you back to the library, and even after getting caffeine into your system you couldn’t seem to focus on your work. You were too busy playing over the words Jaehyun had said to you back at the coffee shop. He liked you too. The dimpled boy of your dreams liked you too! Had you suddenly slipped into an alternate universe? Were you actually dreaming? At some point Doyoung got annoyed with your lack of concentration and flicked your ear, snorting when you let out a loud yelp. So you weren’t dreaming then. Jung Jaehyun, the cutest boy you’d ever met with the sweetest dimples known to man, had really confessed to you. What sort of fucked up universe had you woken up in this morning?

The One Where Isaac Leaves
Summary: Reader has a crush on Isaac but he likes Allison. Starts in season 3b and jumps to 5.
Isaac Lahey x Reader
Word Count: 3,636
Author’s Note: Yes the title is a Friends reference. I couldn’t think of a good title and I love Friends. There is going to be a part two. Not necessarily dealing with the story but I never cared for the Isaac/Allison story line. It bothered me that Isaac was living with Scott, in his pack, and he got with Scott’s first love. Well that was my 2 cents on that lol. Imagine #3 Enjoy :)
Teen Wolf Tuesday!
Part 2
Tumblr media
You walked into Derek’s loft with Scott, Stiles, and Kira. Usually you were the one to keep the two boys out of trouble, but how much trouble could a rave be right? Stiles was going on about some key that he had no clue where it came from. You weren’t really paying attention though. There was too much going on around you. Your classmates were dancing to the blaring music while their bodies glowed in the dark. Of course you were only worried about one body in particular. Isaac Lahey. You began developing a crush on the beta werewolf a few months ago. You hadn’t told anyone; especially Stiles, for obvious reasons.
“…and I don’t know how it got there or what it’s for.” Stiles said to Scott talking about the new key on his ring.
“You wanna leave so we can figure it out?” Scott said.
A girl with an orange and white neon wig came over and kissed Stiles on the check. “Happy Halloween,” she said and she walked away smiling.
You raised your eyebrows in amusement smiling at your friend.
“It can wait.” Stiles replied to Scott, patting him on the shoulder as he began to follow the girl. “It can wait.”
Shaking your head you told Scott and Kira you were going to walk around and see who you could find. You were hoping Isaac would be somewhere alone so you could talk to him.
Making your way around the party, you ran into Danny.
“Hey Y/N!”
“Hey Danny. Nice body art.”
“You can get some too.”
“Maybe later.”
“You look like you’re looking for someone.”
“Uhh… yeah.”
“It wouldn’t happen to be Isaac would it?” Danny smirked at you.
“Uhh…” You were looking everywhere but at Danny.
“You don’t have to lie. I see the way you look at him in class.”
“Danny!” You looked around to make sure none of your friends were nearby.
“Don’t worry. Your crush is safe with me. I did see him come in, so I know he’s here.
Smiling you thanked him and went back to looking for Isaac.
You saw some girls from you’re economics class dancing together. You walked by a girl with a paint brush who offered to paint you, but you politely declined. You were on a mission and Isaac was the target.
There was no point in walking around sober so you went to get yourself a drink. Turning around, you saw Stiles with the girl who kissed him on the cheek earlier dancing together. If you could call what he was doing dancing. You shook your head at the spaz as you went looking for Isaac again. You knew he had to be around somewhere.
Finally, you saw Isaac’s tall frame on the dance floor. His back was too you, but you’d recognize him even if it was a mile away. You turned the red solo cup in your hand back, drinking the rest of the remaining alcohol. You tossed the cup in the trash, but as you glanced back at Isaac you realized he was already with someone. Allison.
You knew Isaac had been spending a little more time with the Argents but from the way they were looking at each other, you realized it had been more than pack business. Slowly stepping back you bumped into another body.
“Sorry,” you said as your eyes began to water. Looking up, you saw Danny looking back down at you.
“Y/N, are you okay?” Danny could tell something was wrong.
Shaking your head, “I’m fine. I just have to go.”
You felt stupid. You were going to cry over a boy that wasn’t even yours. You wanted to blame it on the alcohol but you only had one cup and it defiantly didn’t work that fast. Feeling hurt, you turned on your heels away from Danny and straight out the party. You had to get out of there. Walking out of Derek’s loft, you texted Scott and Stiles and told them you left the party early and got a ride home. No, you didn’t have a ride but you’d find one. No one is stupid enough to walk around Beacon Hills alone at night.
After you called your cousin to pick you up, you sat alone on the curb waiting. You couldn’t help but think of Isaac and Allison dancing together. Allison was your friend, but since no one knew about your crush on the blue eyed boy, you couldn’t be mad at her. Why wouldn’t she fall for him? You couldn’t be mad at Isaac either. Allison was strong, confident, and smart. How could you compete with that? You were just a human in the pack after all. You didn’t contribute much. At least Stiles had good ideas and figured out what was terrorizing the town. You on the other hand were just a liability. A damsel in distress. Someone everyone else would have to save. Allison could protect herself.
There was no choice but to just get over Isaac Lahey. Hey, there are other fish in the sea. You just wish Allison would get a different fish so you could have that one.
Trying to avoid Isaac, you decided to skip lunch the last few days and spend it in the library. To be honest, you weren’t very hungry anyway. Plus with the oni running around you never knew when you weren’t going to have time to do your homework after school.
You were trying to finish your econ homework when Isaac sneaked up behind you. He tapped your shoulder and you jumped, placing your hand over your chest. Isaac giggled as he smiled at you.
“God, you scared me Isaac! You can’t just sneak up on people like that.”
“Sorry,” he laughed at you. “I was just checking on you. I haven’t seen much of you the last few days.”
“Oh, um, I’ve just been trying to catch up on my school work. I don’t need a repeat of last time when I missed a whole week of school work because we were dealing with the alpha pack.” You weren’t really lying to Isaac. You were catching up on school work, but you were also avoiding him. It’s easier to get over someone when you don’t sit next to them at lunch every day.
Isaac looked you over for a few seconds. Your heart didn’t skip a beat so you were telling the truth. But he knew you pretty well and you weren’t the type to skip lunch. You loved food so you missing a time to eat was a big deal.
“Okay, well, Scott called a pack meeting right after school.”
“Alright, thanks for letting me know.” You smiled awkwardly. You wanted this conversation to be over with.
“Hey, are you okay?” You were acting different and Isaac was worried about you.
“I’m fine.” You tried to keep your answer short and simple so Isaac would just drop this conversation.
“It’s just… you seem different lately.”
“Well, there’s an ancient Japanese spirit playing tricks on my friends. I’m still not used to all this supernatural stuff.” Technically, not another lie.
“Okay, well, I guess I’ll see you at Scott’s later then.”
“Yeah,” you smiled closed mouth at Isaac. He got up from the library table and left. Getting over Isaac Lahey was going to be harder than you thought.
You tried getting over Isaac. Keeping your distance whenever possible. But staying away from him was pretty hard with the nogitsune causing havoc. There were tons of pack meetings, but with not having any supernatural abilities, being a hunter, or a Stiles, you weren’t asked to do much. Scott was always trying to keep you safe and you loved him for it but you wanted to do more.
Scott trying to protect you was why you weren’t with them when they went to go save Lydia. She was your friend too and you hated that you couldn’t help. That was why you were speeding to the Argent’s apartment. As soon as you made it to the Argent’s floor you saw Chris rushing towards you.
“I’m guessing you heard.” You said to Argent quickly following him as he got onto the elevator.
“Allison called.”
You didn’t say anything else. You both knew the pack was going into a dangerous situation. You were anxious and worried.
You followed Argent to his car. You knew you couldn’t do much, but something in your gut was telling you that you needed to be with your friends. Call it woman’s intuition, but you had to act on it. Argent pulled his keys out his pock and pushed the button to unlock his doors. He glanced at you as you both continued walking and said, “You should stay behind.”
“No. I can’t do much but I have to be there. I can’t just sit at home waiting for a phone call to tell me if everyone is okay or not.” Either you were going to ride with Argent or follow him in your own car, but you were going.
“Get in and buckle up.” Argent said without even looking in your direct. There was no point in arguing and there defiantly wasn’t any time.
It didn’t take you long to get to Oak Creek. Argent pulled up next to everyone’s cars and you hopped out before he could put the car in park. It was stupid for you to go running in not knowing the situation, but you were too worried to think straight.
As soon as you got close enough to see your friends you stopped in your tracks. All the air in your lungs rushed out as you saw the sight in front of you. Allison laid in Scott’s arms lifeless. Your hands covered your mouth as you shook your head. Tears started to fall. This couldn’t be happening.
You always knew death was something that could happen. You’d seen it before with Erica and Boyd. But you never thought your friends would be the victims. When you’re young, you think that nothing can touch you. Even with having to constantly fight for your life with new supernatural creatures always coming to town, you didn’t think anyone would die. But there was Allison.
Everything that happened after that was like a slow motion scene in a movie but also a blur. You remember wiping your eyes then looking up and seeing Isaac. He was closed in on himself, sitting on the ground refusing to look up. You walked up to him, bent down, and placed your hand on his back to try to comfort him.
You remember watching Argent somehow remain strong talking to Scott, Lydia, and Isaac telling them what to say to the police. You watched as Kira and her mom took Stiles away. You remember hugging Isaac before you caught a ride with them. Pulling him in tight. The only sound was your sniffling. Slowly letting go and looking into his sad blue eyes, wiping away a stray tear.
It hurt like hell seeing Isaac hurt so badly. There being nothing you could do about it. Even if you were a werewolf you couldn’t take away his pain. It was all emotional.
Everything that happened after Allison died was like a distant memory you tried to forget. Killing the nogitsune. Aiden dying. Allison’s small funeral. Isaac leaving with Argent.
You understood why Isaac had to leave. He had already lost so much. It’d be better to question why someone would stay in Beacon Hills. The town seemed to be surrounded by nothing but death.
The day Isaac left, he showed up to your doorstep early the morning after Allison’s funeral. You looked over his shoulder and saw Argent waiting in the car. You didn’t remember much. Just Isaac saying how he was leaving and he didn’t know when or even if he’d come back. You basically tuned everything else after that out. Smiling up at the werewolf, you shed a single tear realizing you were losing another friend. He wiped it away and told you it’d be alright. That he’d keep in contact with you. Phone calls would be too expensive so Skyping would be the best option. He pulled you in for a long, tight hug. You closed your eyes taking in the moment, not knowing if you would get to see Isaac again. You breathed in the scent of his body wash, hands grasping the cotton material of his sweater. You were trying to take in every detail of Isaac Lahey. When he pulled away, you looked up at those blue eyes any girl would be lucky to get lost in. He tucked a stray piece of your hair behind you ear and said goodbye. And with that, he was gone.
About two days later, you got an email from Isaac saying he made it to Paris and he was okay. Once he got used to the time difference and got settled he’d Skype you.
Isaac didn’t mean to but he didn’t attempt to Skype you until about two months later. It was unexpected. It was Saturday afternoon and you were trying to finish typing your English Lit paper when a Skype notification started going off. After you quickly checked yourself in the mirror, you hit answer. A smiling Isaac Lahey was staring back at you. He apologized for not contacting you sooner, but he was trying to get away from Beacon Hill’s problems and Skyping you would just remind him of them. You were just happy to hear from him.
You guys talked for hours. About Isaac’s life in Paris. About School. Anything but supernatural problems. Beacon Hills had been quiet since he left, but naturally odd things had started going on again. You didn’t want to ruin you two finally talking again by bring up new problems, so you just left them out.
Ever since that day, you and Isaac decided you would Skype every Saturday at that time. It wasn’t always the most convenient for you because on most Saturday afternoons you were still half way asleep, but you were more than willing to make the exception for Isaac. There was a nine hour difference between you to after all.
It was now senior year and Isaac still hadn’t come home. Could you even call Beacon Hill his home at this point? You didn’t try to bring it up too much and when you did you tried your best to be nonchalant about it.
“So when are you coming home?” You asked as you grinned into the web cam. Hey, you said you tried to be nonchalant. Sometimes you just had to get straight to the point.
“Y/N, we’ve talked about this.”
“Yeah, but its senior year. This is probably the last time were all gonna be together and you’re missing it.”
“The only thing I’m missing, is you guys fighting some mix bread werewolves and some crazy doctors.”
You sighed looking at Isaac. He was right. Beacon Hill’s current condition wasn’t the best one to come back to.
“Come on Lahey, we’ll beat them just like we always do and things will go back to normal.” You paused for a moment and blinked, “whatever normal is for us.”
“Exactly, there’s nothing normal about that town. And besides, I’ve got a lot going for myself here.”
“Like what?” You crossed your arms in front of you.
“Well, I got my GED. And- and, I’ve got a good job.”
“Isaac, working in a bar isn’t classified as a ‘good job’,” you air quoted.
“It’s better than whatever I’d have going on back home.”
That one hurt you a little. You and Isaac had been talking for months. He talked to you more than he did with Scott. You were pretty much his only communication with the pack. Before Allison had died, you were trying to get over the blue eyed werewolf. But since he had been in Paris, your feelings for him only grew. It hurt to think Isaac still didn’t feel the same way. You were hoping maybe you’d be enough of a reason to come back.
You tilted your head down a little no longer looking into Isaac’s eyes on the screen. Hoping he wouldn’t be able to tell how much that last statement hurt you, you replied, “You’d have us. The pack.” You looked back up at him, “I haven’t really heard you talk about friends there. You’ve mentioned a couple of coworkers but that’s about it.”
Isaac sighed, “No. I do miss you guys. A lot actually.”
A small sad smile appeared on your face. “Then come home I-”
You were interrupted by your phone going off. You rolled your computer chair out of the web cam’s view and answered your phone. Isaac couldn’t see you, but he still could hear your side of the conversation.
“Hey Lydia.”
“No, I was just talking to Isaac.”
“Yeah, sure I can be there in ten. Bye.”
You rolled your chair back into Isaac’s view. “Sorry that was Lydia. There’s a pack meeting I have to go to. A chimera caused some damage last night.”
“Its fine, I understand.” Isaac responded. “It’s pretty late anyway, I should be going to sleep.”
“Alright. I’ll talk to you next Saturday?”
“Yeah,” Isaac smiled. “Just like always.”
You smiled back, “Okay, goodnight Isaac.”
“Talk to you soon.”
Isaac’s face disappeared after that. You got up to grab your purse and head to your car thinking you’d finish your conversation with Isaac next week. But little did you know that wasn’t going to happen.
It was just like always, Isaac sat in front of his laptop at 9:00 on Saturday night sending you a request to Skype. It kept ringing and ringing then it asked did he want to leave a message. He decided he’d wait and Skype back in a few minutes. Maybe your wifi was acting up again. Five minutes pasted and he requested again. Still no answer. Most people would have just assumed you were busy, but not Isaac. You and him always Skyped at 9:00 pm his time and 12:00 pm your time like clockwork. There were a few exceptions, like when you were on vacation or your wifi was out. But you still had managed to let him know you couldn’t talk.
Isaac was worried after ten minutes of you not attempting to Skype him back. He knew it’d be expensive but he had to make sure you were okay. He picked up his phone, scrolled through his contacts, and clicked your name. An old photo of you two lit up the screen. It was after one of the lacrosse games. The cyclones had won and both you and Isaac had the biggest grins on your faces. Normally, the photo would have made him smile, but now his phone had been ringing for 30 seconds and your answering machine answered instead of your angelic voice.
Isaac was desperate, so he called the one person he knew would answer his long distance call. He went back to his contacts and clicked on Scott McCall’s name. After a few seconds the alpha answered.
“Hello?”
“Scott! Hey, um, I might be worried for nothing but I was supposed to talk to Y/N and she didn’t answer her Skype or her phone. Do you know if she’s okay?”
The phone was silent for a few seconds. Isaac could hear Scott’s rapid heartbeat through the phone causing him to worry.
“Scott. What’s wrong with Y/N?”
“Um, I’m sorry man. She got hurt last night and is in the hospital.”
“What!?” Isaac shouted into the phone. He stood up and began pacing his room. “What happened? Is she okay? Who hurt her?”
“There was a fight last night. Did she tell you about that guy Theo?”
“Theo?” Isaac questioned. “That guys she said you all went to elementary school with who came back looking for a pack?”
“Uh, yeah.” Scott was scratching the back of his head. He hated having to tell Isaac about this. He felt like it was partially his fault for trusting Theo in the first place. “Well, last night during the super moon he attacked me. And Y/N was there. She was trying to stop him, but he pushed her into some bookshelves in the school library. She hit her head really bad and fell. Then the shelf fell onto her.”
“What!?” Isaac yelled into the phone. He rubbed his hand over his face and sighed. He didn’t want to believe this happened to you. There had to be some mistake. “Is she- is she okay? How bad was it?”
“From what my Mom could tell me she has some broken bones and some head injury.”
“Scott, what aren’t you telling me?”
Scott paused taking a deep breath before he told his beta the worse part. “Isaac, she’s in a coma,” he said with a sense of guilt.
Isaac felt his heart sink into his chest. He sat on the edge of his bed no longer being able to stand. He started blaming himself. Maybe if he was there. If he had come home like you asked him too, this would have never happened. He couldn’t lose you like Allison, Boyd, and Erica. Even though he was over 5,000 miles away from you, he was falling for you. He wanted to stop himself. He wasn’t planning on returning to Beacon Hills so it wouldn’t have worked between you two, but he couldn’t help himself.
“Isaac?” Scott questioned. He could hear Isaac’s heartbeat so he knew he was still on the phone.
“I’m still here.” Isaac exhaled deeply. He didn’t need to think about what he was going to say next. There was only one thing to do.
“I’ll be home by tomorrow.”
