thinking about the one part in my Jarod fanfic that I literally haven't even written yet, but I have the image very clear in my mind, and I'm like dying over here bc I'm gonna use one of my favorite trope thingies and it'll probably be literally just briefly mentioned in a sentence or two but I am still going insane

#like #ughhhhwaaaaaaahhhhh #i love being the target audience of my very own writing #i love writing whatever i want #Jarod exists in two modes in my brain #hot creepy pathetic murderer that i want to kill me etc etc #and awkward dad who deserves so much therapy #the fic im writing is more about the dad angle #like its from a teens perspective so ofc its the sfw dad angle #and basically its just the bar scene but. more #and okay heres some spoilers #like for the favorite trope thingy #after you work at the bar and eat your meal you play pwong with jarod and then you go outside to continue your journey or go sleeb #and you find one of those cardboard beds and go there #and then Jarod comes over and is like. kid you cant sleep here :( follow me you can sleep in my Car #and okay heres the best part #some time later he accidentally wakes you up and you realize that he put his jacket on you like blankie #!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#like someone putting their jacket or coat on someone as a show of silent affection is. its everything to me #like romantic love familial love platonic love. just love in general. shown by making sure the other person is warm and safe and comfortable #it makes me go insane #i need to finish that fic fr #im like right before that moment #and uts not even the end #but its like 2/3 into the story. maybe a lil further #ough #road 96 #jarod road 96 #bee buzz
