#ugh. this is so weird and different from anything I've written for this fandom

Note
Nothing turns me off from a fanfic faster than a fear of emotional sincerity. There's so much irony, so many jokes, so many "ugh that was awkward" "I know right" after scenes that could have been touching had they not just been undermined, and a thorough coating of snark and sarcasm over an alarming number of protagonists. My fandom lends itself well to OCs and I've read some wonderful, one of a kind OCs as a result. I've also read a lot of the above, whatever you'd like to term that sort of story. I find it deeply uninspiring. How am I meant to be interested in a story when the author isn't? How am I supposed to get deeply invested in this thing when we have to punctuate everything with quips? Sometimes I just want a story where not everyone feels like they're saying lines for the movie trailers and memes these fics will never actually get.
There's so much potential out there in the setting for all kinds of characters. I shouldn't be able to take quotes from all of these OCs in all these different roles and have them read in that same irreverent, I-am-quipping-in-the-war-zone tone to such a degree that any line could come from all of them.
And when I mentioned this to a friend they assumed that meant I wanted boring heroes. No. Too much of anything makes that the boring, predictable thing. I want weird. Give me a very sincere hero who is also mildly out of touch with reality and talks to bugs but whose pacifism will not extend to you if you touch his loved ones. Give me a hot grandpa who's too old for snarky shit and wants to hash things out like an adult and relearns how to see the world with wonder in his eyes. Give me a heroine who's neurodivergent and nice and also really good at a handful of things that bring her actual joy instead of snarky cool girl semi-joy. Just. Any break from the latest brunette white cis culturally Christian atheist snarky cool person who always has a line at the ready and doesn't let anything get under their skin no matter how much it would be really weird for it to not matter to them, actually and how completely understandable it would be to let them feel something.
A scene that lives rent free in my head is from a fanfic now deleted, but in which two characters just talk about their trauma and have a quiet moment. The canon character is comforted by the OC without any romantic undertones or intent. Nobody makes any jokes to break the tension. They just have a moment where one person leans on someone else because sometimes life is fucking hard and you just need someone else to tell you they've been there, they managed, you're not alone, they've got you.
Most fics in my fandom don't have that much sincerity in the entire story. And this thing I loved, this fandom I invested six years into, is finally just too dull of a sandbox to play in anymore. I don't like that. Nobody's taking any risks, even one as minor as emotional sincerity in fiction, which is arguably a lot safer a place to do that than reality.
I miss when my fandom was new and the OCs were some of the most baffling people you've ever had described to you with nonetheless well-written backstories going out to do shit they believed in.

Sincerity is terrifying for an author.

20 questions for fic writers
@thatbluelight thank you for tagging me!! here's to another year of writing and girlbossing etc
1. how many works do you have on ao3?
19. but 26 on ffnet :|
2. what’s your total ao3 word count?
496,029
3. what fandoms do you write for?
so right now it's danganronpa (i KNOW and i DON'T wanna hear it) but the majority of my works are for the hobbit and lotr
4. what are your top 5 fics by kudos?
The New World, Taking Back Time, Archery Lessons, The Fallen Oak, A Distraction. kind of surprising to find oneshots in there but ig it's what people like
5. do you respond to comments? why or why not?
only if i have something to say, i don't really like replying just to say thank you. idk it feels like i'm trying to boost my comment count :| not that i judge people who do do that i just don't
6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
probably The Fallen Oak? the ending is supposed to be somewhat optimistic but it is about grief and letting go so...yeah
7. what’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
maybe Home and Heart? that was just a two-shot but the whole thing was basically straight fluff so the ending was very happy. how the hell would you write boffins angst anyways. don't answer that
8. do you get hate on any fics?
christ i've gotten way too many transphobic comments on Playing the Hero. i got this one really spiteful comment and peeked at their profile and it was someone who had written a ton of fics themselves. like if you're a loser with an empty profile and you leave hateful comments i kind of get it but if you're also a writer like...why would you do that...
9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?
yes. vanilla. next question
10. do you write crossovers? what’s the craziest one you’ve written?
i write a lot of fusion fics but i guess the closest thing i've gotten to a crossover was Embers. Thorin enters the world of The Witcher to train for fighting dragons, etc etc. very self indulgent, boy playing with action figures premise but people seemed to enjoy it
11. have you ever had a fic stolen?
i actually still have the screenshots, i stumbled across this one hobbit fic way back when that was this weird frankenstein piece of cobbled together bits stolen from a bunch of different authors. i was just casually reading it and then i was like "what the fuck this is so similar to the first chapter of Feangren..." anyway the author got a lot of hate and deleted the story
12. have you ever had a fic translated?
naur
13. have you ever co-written a fic before?
naur
14. what’s your all time favorite ship?
ugh i mean i don't think anything will ever hit like bagginshield. i know i don't write for it anymore but it still feels like home a little
15. what’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
stop there are so many and i'm so embarrassed. if i had the motivation i would rework the plot for Children of the Apocalypse and try to finish it. i feel bad because it is a sequel and at one point i was really pumped to write it but just. the moment has passed
16. what are your writing strengths?
i think i do pretty well with like a sprinkling of humor. i can't do straight up crackfics anymore. maybe plot too?
17. what are your writing weaknesses?
probably finishing fics i've been getting better but sometimes i struggle to write long chapters. like i have to stretch to hit 3k.
18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
i feel like it only works if you know the language or if you just use short phrases
19. first fandom you wrote for?
legend of zelda. in my composition notebook in third grade lmao
20. favorite fic you’ve written?
it's hard to choose but i have a soft spot for Where Heroes Lie. very self indulgent but it has such a fun mix of action, humor, angst, shlock. feat. my only OC that has healthy parental relationships.
this was actually so fun omg. tagging @nejires-hado @chrononautintraining and i'm definitely forgetting people but if you want to do this just say i tagged you

untitled drabble; for @fivevanya‘s end of august event - fiveya week - [3/7 prompt - time]
“It's about time.”
The sudden outburst causes John Lambert's attention to cut to Five. He’s about to admonish the errant teen for disturbing the class before there’s a click and creak from the other side of the room. The door to the classroom is cracked open ever so slightly, just enough for a small figure to peak head and shoulders through the doorway. A young girl smiles apologetically over at him and opens her mouth to say something just as he too is about to usher her in. Neither of them get a word in before Five interrupts.
“You're late," he grumbles and waves the girl over.
Half a second later the door creaks open wider and a young girl inches into the room. This must be Vanya. Or as his employer probably would have referred to her, Number Seven. When Lambert had first been offered the position to be a private tutor of foreign literature teacher and in the employ of a billionaire no less, he had been overjoyed. Lambert is fresh out of college and the commission Hargreeves offers is better than anything he could have hoped for,
Vanya is a tiny slip of a girl, ordinary and mousy. It’s the first time he’s seen her. She’s oddly absent in the few family pictures that are scattered throughout the Hargreeves mansion and she hadn’t been present when he had first been introduced to the children three days ago. Hargreeves had lined them up and introduced Lambert’s new pupils, referring to them only by numbers. He thought it was a joke, some sort of Sound of Music reference but after this brief introduction both he and the children are dismissed and Hargreeves says no more on the matter. It’s the chimp, Pogo, who tells Lambert their names, Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Ben, and that there is one other that he had yet to meet, Vanya. The only one who lacks a second moniker is Five.
He learns in passing from the other tutors about Five. Brilliant and charismatic, a literal genius but a smarmy little bastard. During his first lesson with the children, the little twerp had barrelled question after question and incendiary comments at Lambert. Thankfully, he’s been silent today, at least until the arrival of the seventh Hargreeves child.
"You must be, Vanya,” he says to the girl, deciding to ignore Five’s outbursts. “Your - uh...Mr. Pogo informed me that you’d be late today. Please have a seat."
She nods but instead of going to the empty desk near the door she bypasses it entirely and makes a beeline clear across the room to where Five is seated. Then, with no preamble, she takes a seat on her brother’s lap. For a moment, Lambert thinks this must be some kind of prank, a joke that they are all in on. He glances around at the rest of the children for some trace of humor but they are dutifully focused on their reading. Looking back at the pair, he finds they have shifted slightly. Vanya is now stradling Five’s right light and is leaning on her elbows. Her hair falls forward, blocking her expression. Five has his right arm around her, his chest flush against her side.
“Ahem,” Lambert grunts.
Neither seem to notice. Five murmurs something to her then points to a line in the open book on the desk in front of them. Vanya nods as Five, with the arm that’s around her, pulls the hair that’s fallen around her face over her shoulder. From there, his right hand trails down the center line of her back before finding its final resting spot on the small of Vanya’s back.
Lambert clears his throat again this time louder and more insistent.
“Yes?” Five replies nonchalantly.
Lambert narrows his eyes at Five but it’s the girl’s attention he’s trying to get.
“Miss Vanya,” he says and her attention snaps up from the page to him. “Please have a seat at your desk.”
This elicits a confused look from the girl. The rest of the siblings continue their reading, uninterested in the unfolding spectacle. Vanya glances at Five, who still has that penetrating gaze trained on him, then back to her book.
“This is Vanya’s desk,” Five says a wide smirk forming on his face.
This throws Lambert for a moment but he’s taught teenagers for years and he’s quick to volley back a reply.
“Then you will return to your desk, Number Five.”
Five’s smirk doesn’t falter. In fact, it only grows wider.
“This is my desk too,” he says. “That desk is mine and this desk mine. They are both mine and they are both Vanya’s.”
Lambert glances at the rest of the children. They are still engrossed in their reading, unfazed by Five’s antics.
“What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is yours. Right, sis?” he says merrily to who Vanya nods distractedly, her eyes still trained on the reading.
With that, Five wraps his long arms around Vanya’s middle and squeezes tightly. He pulls her with him as he leans back contentedly in his chair. Vanya’s own hands come to rest naturally on his. Her eyes never once leave the pages in front of her just like the rest of the siblings. Only Five is looking up at him, leveling him with a trenchant stare. Lambert’s dealt with difficult students before but none like Number Five.
In truth, he finds the kid downright frightening. All of them should be terrifying to him. He knows from the tabloids what these kids are capable of, has seen pictures of the aftermath of their “justice” but it is hard to think of any of these well-behaved adolescents as vigilantes. The only one that gives Lambert the creeps is Five, who’s eyes seem to give off a predatory vibe even when discussing something as harmless as Hugo. Still, Lambert is unwilling to back down.
“You will separate yourselves. Now, Number Five.”
His stern tone causes the rest of the Hargreeves children to finally look up from their reading. They all stare at him but Lambert has his eyes trained on Five who doesn’t break eye contact even as he turns his head to whisper something in his sister’s ear. It isn’t until Lambert hears a small ‘um’ that his attention shifts away from Five to Vanya, still comfortably leaned against her brother’s chest. He notices that Five’s hands has shifted from her middle to her lap. They sit loosely upon her thighs as if it is the most normal thing in the world. A light blush colors the girls cheeks as she speaks.
“May I go to the bathroom?” she asks politely.
It’s such a sudden shift in tone that he has to take a moment to stare blankly at her before replying.
“You just got here.”
“But...I really have to go,” she insists.
Vanya stares up at him with large, round mournful eyes. He feels as though he’s just kicked a puppy and after a couple seconds he relents.
“Go.”
At the very least it means she’s no longer straddling her brother’s thigh and the rest of the class can get back to the lesson. However, as soon as Vanya is out the door, Five rises from his seat and begins to make his way across the classroom. He gets as far as opening the door before Lambert can catch his bearings and call out.
“And where exactly are you going, Number Five?”
“Where do you think?” Five replies cooly, turning that too-wide smirk on him.
But it’s different than before. Gone is the humor and boyish gaiety and replacing it is something sharper, predatory. It sends a shiver down Lambert’s spine. Before Lambert can get a word in, Five slips out the door leaving him slack jawed and without words. He scrambles to continue the lesson and he is glad that neither Five nor Vanya return for the rest for the rest of the class.
The next day, he walks into the room to find them seated together again but this time it’s Vanya on the seat and Five in her lap. It’s shocking and frankly comical. Five is already a good head above Vanya but their current positions only serves to exaggerate their natural height difference. Lambert has to hold back a bark of laughter.
“Hey, Mr. L, is this better?” Five jeers.
He’s back to playful it seems. And though Lambert is still concerned, he’d rather not have a repeat of yesterday. So he rolls his eyes and tells them all to open their books. He figures, there are some battles you just can’t win.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

🛒 ✨ 🏆 🤩 🤲 ? <33
aw yeah procrastination here we go <3
🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.
Boring answer, but honestly, just love. I write fic because I love these characters and I love the love they share with each other (romantic or otherwise), and that's what it all comes down to for me. UGH I need to say something sarcastic now to cut the sappiness of that answer. But it's true!
✨ Give you and your writing a compliment. Go on now. You know you deserve it. 😉
I always enjoy rereading my own fics. So. I am excellent at writing exactly the fics I want to read myself. :P
🏆 What’s your most popular fic?
Define "popular". By AO3 kudos, a very old and silly Remus/Sirius fic (Logical Deduction), but I'm pretty sure that's just because HP is far and away the biggest fandom on AO3 that I've ever written for, so the odds are in your favor in that sense. Why THAT R/S fic, of all the ones I wrote back in the day, I have no idea. The claw, it chooses. Popularity is a weird measure.
(Like - the very first TOG fic I wrote has insanely more kudos/hits than anything I've written since, but that's just because I literally posted it a week after the movie hit and everyone and their mother was looking for Joe/Nicky fic for five whole minutes. There's no way to recreate that now. It has nothing to do with quality, just luck of the timing.)
🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?
Different in each fandom, but for TOG, Nicky. His voice comes easiest for me. I try to push against that, because I kinda hate that the generic white dude is my answer to this question, but here we are. But it's a close call - I love writing Joe and Quynh and Nile as well. (Andy and Booker are my least faves to write. Not because I dislike them! Just the hardest to wrap my brain around for whatever reason.)
🤲 Would you please share a snippet of a wip?
oh god i HAVE to finish my big bang. i have to. it is getting dire. so here you go, a rare Booker POV snippet from the BB fic i will finish if it fucking kills me:
"—thought you were more of Kodos's goons following me," someone was saying. His voice was flat, almost expressionless, in a way no child's voice should sound. "You wanna kill me as payback, fine, just let me get this—"
"No one's going to hurt you," Joe said, low and calm. "I don't blame you for being scared. Neither will my friend."
"Uh, he's kind of dead."
"No, he's not," Booker said, pulling himself upright with a groan. He didn't really hurt, but it usually helped to play it up a little. Less suspicious. "Shit. Nice to meet you, kid."
Joe grinned down at him, teeth flashing white in the darkness. "Congrats, Book, you just let a twelve-year-old get a jump on you."
"I'm fourteen," the kid snapped. He didn't look it. Scrawny, too skinny, unsettlingly blue eyes gleaming almost feverishly in his pale face. Dishwater-blond hair fell past his ears, badly in need of a haircut, and his clothes looked like someone else's hand-me-downs. He still had his battered old phaser in one hand, currently pointed harmlessly down at the ground. "How the fuck are you not dead?"
"Sorry to disappoint," Booker drawled. He nodded at the phaser. "Given how out of date that model is, I'm honestly surprised you managed to get enough charge out of it to stun, let alone kill anyone."
The kid scowled down at it. "Always worked fine before. Fuck. One more thing to deal with."

I've read all your work and im such a fan of how you write. Me as a writer ( a crappy one though lol) would like to ask for advice when writing, like how do you make such good writings and manage to never drift away from the topic and the flow goes so well ugh, i dont even know how to explain. Just want to advice and maybe some help haha, i have writers block and cant seem to like anything i write and everytime i try to write something, i drift away from the topic and end up deleting it.
Well first of all, thank you for all your kind words 🖤
I don’t really know how to start and this is probably going to be a lot of rambling, so bear with me for this one.
So I also tend to drift off topic a lot when I write actually, that’s why my works always end up way longer than I intend them too. And most times it’s not bad if you get off topic. Some stories just have their own way and sometimes you just need to go with the flow of writing even if it takes a different turn than you intended it. In the end it might not be what you originally wanted but it might be a beautiful work nonetheless.
Writing with prompts has really helped me personally though. Shorter stories in general really help with that where you circle around a small topic. When writing multiple chapter fics it’s harder and I really can’t give any advice on that because I myself have never completed any multi chaptered fic I have ever started and I have been a writer in so many different fandoms and have never managed to do that. Or any completely original stuff for that matter.
Writers block can be difficult and sometimes you just have to wait until a great idea just pops into your head, so your motivation and stuff will just be back. With writing prompts that people are waiting for I’m sorry if anyone reading this has ever requested anything from me, I’m taking forever you sometimes just have to force through it.
I just try to come up with a concept first. Just rough outlines on what I want to happen (that’s a lot easier with prompts because they already give you a very very rough outline). When I got the “storyline” down (with my prompts is mostly just key words like a flow chart maybe and when what sentence is going to be said, not more than one or two lines) I just start writing. In the first paragraph I like to have sort of an introduction into the scenery and the general circumstances.
If I’ve got the mood down, it helps me if I listen to songs that fit the mood. I have several playlists especially for Monsta X for that matter. Also it helps me that the songs are neither English nor my native language so I have a sort of mood setting background noise that’s not interfering with my thoughts. I remember for my first Halloween work I listened to Who by Seventeen’s performance team on repeat for hours (I can’t listen to it anymore) because it just portrayed the mood really well and brought me in the right mind-set.
Well from there I personally write in pieces a lot (I don’t know if this is good advice though, it’s just how I personally work, I’m afraid you ultimately have to find out what works for you). What that means is if I get stuck in a certain part, I just leave a bit of space, write keywords on how the scene progresses to the next one and write the next part that I have ideas for. The Halloween work that’s gonna be online later tonight I think was like that as well. It was written in three parts that I only connected when I already had the ending completely written. And I think I also got the ending scene done first, then the middle part and then the beginning. This personally also helps me to make everything as logical as I can. Because when I know what the character is doing at the end, I know how to make him act in the middle part, if that makes sense.
What I also try to do is paying attention to details. Like never forget what your characters are doing. For example if they were lying down, they can’t just walk somewhere without getting up first. For me it’s the little things like that that mater and personally drive me crazy if someone (myself or other writers) get that wrong. Like saying that the reader wore tight jeans and in the next scene they get their skirt hiked up.
Talking about the reader, I like to keep them as vague as possible so many people can relate to them. (Also I personally don’t like using stuff like Y/N because my brain is too stupid to insert my name and I just read what is written which is just weird, I just use pet names when I feel it’s necessary)
Also you mentioned that you delete lots of things you write: Don’t do that! I feel like leaving a work alone for a while and coming back to it a little later to work on it again sometimes works wonder. And even if it can’t be fixed you can always look back and maybe learn from it. I still have the stuff I wrote in school and sometimes like to embarrass myself while looking at them. If you follow me for a little while, you might know that I’ve said that I wrote a Minhyuk prompt that I didn’t feel comfortable posting, I still have that and I am still working on it and it’s probably been like 2 months and I still don’t like it for variable reasons but it’s getting better, so just hang in there.
And lastly, having friends to talk to about your work or a beta reader really helps. I got lucky and @kihyunsbabe was kind enough to read through my stuff for the past fics.
And sometimes there are just days where nothing seems to work. Don’t stress yourself. Just relax and watch Monsta X Ray for the nth time or some crack compilations.
Wow, this is way longer than I thought it would be... Who saw that coming with me? But I hope I could help you at least a little bit and give some insight as to how I personally write. Again, it’s just how I work, it works for me. It might not work for you, you just have to find out through trial and error. 🖤
If there’s anything you’d like more advice on, don’t hesitate to ask.

hi, so i just followed you recently and i see you're into kpop. i've been trying to get into kpop for a while (esp the girl groups) but it's just such a big community i have no idea where to even start. do you know what i should do or who to listen to?
ok ok im so happy someone’s asking me about kpop lol? i generally dont talk about it that much. pls feel free to talk to me more as u get into groups and such. anywayy, here are my favs!!
(everything under the cut bc im about to talk for a while)
GIRLS
-f(x)
top bias, favorite group ever, i love them. they debuted as 5 members (victoria, amber, luna, sulli, krystal) but sulli left the group in 2015, right before their most recent album. managed by sm entertainment, debuted in 2009.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7MHZpSNJQc

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnku4o3tRB4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4j7Umwfx60Q
look up any of their stuff, i have literally their entire discography lol they really don’t have a bad song, imo. they were introduced as like a “cool” little sister group to girls generation, another sm girl group who’s really big in korea and who u might have heard of if ur sort of already getting into kpop.
-girls generation (snsd)
speaking of girls generation, lol. their korean name is “so nyuh shi dae”, hence the snsd acronym. they debuted 10 years ago under sm, and they’re so impactful on korean culture that they’re like in textbooks and shit. they’re currently 8 members (taeyeon, yuri, yoona, sooyoung, tiffany, hyoyeon, seohyun, and sunny), but they debuted with 9. jessica left in 2014 after some messy shit with the company. snsd is like HUGE in japan. their japanese songs are so good.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_gfD3nvh-8
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8j_XEn9b_8
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq7ftOZBy0E
-red velvet
one more sm group lol. i kinda hate sm because they treat their groups rly shitty but i love their groups so much. ANYWAY, red velvet is sm’s most recently girl group, debuted in 2014 with 4 members: irene, seulgi, wendy, and joy. in march 2015, they got a new member, yeri, which everyone was kinda confused about. she was super young at the time, like 16 i think, so maybe she was too young to debut in 2014? dunno. their concept is that they can do girly concepts (red) and more mature, r&b type concepts (velvet).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFgv8bKfxEs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpAn9ryoB4Y
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glXgSSOKlls
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGdbaEDVWp0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px2Q47O0_eE
-twice
managed by jyp, another big company like sm. debuted in 2015 with 9 members (jihyo, nayeon, jeongyeon, sana, mina, momo, chaeyoung, dahyun, and tzuyu). they were formed after participating in a survival show called sixteen where sixteen jyp trainees competed to be in the new girl group. i’ve been following them since their debut so i have a special place in my heart for them. also they’re all younger than me so they’re all my daughters
they’re pretty huge in korea atm, and everyone’s calling them the next snsd, which is making snsd fans (sones) all pissed off and starting a really dumb fan war. this is why i dont rly align myself with kpop fandoms lmao theyre all so embarrassing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rtV5esQT6I
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7rCyll5AeY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePpPVE-GGJw
-gfriend
another favorite. i forget what company they’re under. they debuted in 2015 with 6 members (sowon, yerin, yuju, sinb, umji, eunha). they’re from a super small company but theyre so fuckin talented that it caught everyone’s attention. also they went viral because yuju fell down a lot on a rainy stage once alskdfjs. they’re super known for their really tight dancing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Se8bbsUFjC8
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8CydQ-Y3Hs
-mamamoo
debuted in 2014 with four members: solar, moonbyul, wheein, and hwasa. literally the most talented and straight-up performers in every sense of the word, on this entire list. i havent even written the boys list yet, but they beat all of them. they have amazing chemistry, beautiful harmonies and dancing. they have amazing control
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGgrRoMJ6Yc
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFuJAIMQjHk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h41Rrk_6rzs
they’re literally so funny and cute and charismatic and talented as hell, pls get into them
BOYS
get ready for this list to be like dramaaatically shorter lmao anyway girl groups are better than boy groups bye
-shinee
best of the best. shinee fucking invented singing, dancing, and the concept of boy groups altogether. they’ve done some really stupid concepts, but somehow they ALWAYS WORK. they’re under sm (surprise, surprise, i love everything sm does ugh) and debuted in 2008 with 5 members: onew, jonghyun, key, minho, and taemin.

literally everyones fucking obsessed with bts, including me. stands for bangtan sonyeondan, which roughly translates to bulletproof boy scouts. debuted in 2013 with 7 members: rap monster, suga, j-hope, jin, jungkook, v, and jimin. they were like crazy hyped-up pre-debut, which is probably why they’re so big.
