hello i have had a sore throat for a day now and i think im catching something so im mad but studybuddy took me out for hot pot to help and ughhh so needed

ok so im kinda feeling irritated about my lab assistant job lately. since i started doing research with another person in the lab, my boss who hired me for the lab assistant job has been kinda “condescending” feeling idk i cant really justify anything because its just how i have felt (could be nothing) but idk he never said anything about my job performance and i had kept everything really in order like he had asked but today he sent me this really long list of stuff i need to do from now on and idk i feel like hes trying to pick at me now that im dedicating more time in this lab to do research (but keep in mind im still doing my job just as well as before because i never want to make him think that im neglecting my job because of the higher position) but ya. 

the other day there was a plate full of centrifuge tubes (small plastic bottles for bacteria and you centrifuge [spin] them to separate them by layers) and the bottom always has all the dead bacteria stuff (WHICH IS HELLA NASTY like it smells like poo and is SLIMEY AF and brown and ugh) and like as a researcher you should scrub those out when theyre fresh as courtesy but they were just sittin there rotting and i had to do it and let me tell you in that moment, i did not get paid enough to do that
