HI ok saur i’ve just washed up so let’s GO!!!!!

dominATE tour!!! i was so so lucky to get a good seat (cat 1 second row!) but my other concert buddies… were slightly further behind. i went alone but met up with other stays who also went alone, so we became a cute little group of 4! spent the time looking around and taking pictures together 🥺 they’re the cutest bunch ever. tbh it’s not my first time going alone (i.e skz maniac, cha eunwoo just one 10min) so i wasn’t that lost, but some of the other girls were so i became some sort of a mother duck weaving them through the crowds hahah !

i made little bracelets and gave them out as fansupport! was seated next to two j-stays and when i gave them, they went “kawaii!!” repeatedly; they’re so cute uGH

chan said he’s so happy to be able to kick off the start of the world tour in singapore 🫶 (in a later ment, he said he was jealous of stays who live here because it’s so pretty, and would love to spend more time here in the future :() he also made a lot of jokes about how it’s so “cold” here (haha :|) but ultimately said it’s hot because of stay 🥹

changbin did the chilli chilli crab crab dance again!! seungmin said they ate that yesterday, and that probably before their flight tomorrow they’ll eat pepper crab! changbin asked to share and seungmin said no because changbin eats 2 portions each time 😭😭 save my man please 😫

speaking of!!! changbin is my concert bias once again!!! idk man it’s just something about him that draws your eyes towards him… his stage presence is really no joke. he’s also super buff irl (please put me in a chokehold) (lovingly)

THE SOLOS1!!1!1!1! THEY’RE ALL SO AMAZING!!!!! seungmin was so angelic on the guitar! jisung and minho were so cute and fun to jump to! hyunjin!! such beautiful choreo!!!! the fact that they put chan’s and jeongin’s back to back is so criminal tho like how did they expect me to recover from shirtless chan to body-roll jeongin combo???? felix said his solo was based off beast’s pov from beauty and the beast! 🥺 of how life was so unfair for him 🥺🥺 and then when be the crowd was chanting “baby bread! baby bread!” seungmin then went on to say “nonono, he’s a man now” WHAT IF I CRIED!!!!!

they also played cult classics: miroh, district 9, MY PACE, back door, god’s menu, thunderous, case 143. i will never stop loving you, miroh.

at one point they were all just throwing water at stays and each other. they should’ve gone to waterbomb lmao i would’ve loved to see them with the water canons

omg as i was collecting confetti after the concert, a security aunty came up to me and was like “hi can i ask who was the one with the long hair?”

and i was like “oh the blond one?”

and she was like “yeah! the one with the half bun!”

so i was like “oh! that’s felix!”

“yes, felix!”

“oh, he’s very handsome!”

tbh i think last year’s maniac tour was better :/ maybe its because of the intimacy of the indoor stadium as compared to national? i also preferred last year’s setlist too T-T there’s no hellevator, haven, rock or yayaya 😪 they did have social path this year tho! and stray kids! lonely street and i like it too!! it’s the little wins 🥹

Hands on your thigh, worry laced Miitsuya’s voice when he found you sitting on a pavement in the middle of nowhere, tears cascading down your cheeks.

Startled was understatement. You tried in vain to rub at your cheeks in an attempt to hide the peppered trail of tears, but that was of no use as more tears were relentlessly flowing out of your eyes, betraying your attempt to conceal your distress.

Stupid eyes!

Mitsuya’s eyes narrowed at you with worry.

“Is there someone I’m gonna have to beat up?” He asked sternly.

“N—no! It’s nothing, Taka! Don’t worry about it!” you stuttered, feeling utterly exposed before the person you'd recently begun to admire, tangled in a web of unspoken emotions.

I stutter, foot in mouth in front of the guy I recently caught feelings for. Well, obviously after moving on from Draken, the reason being that Emma likes him too. And he clearly likes her back, but who wouldn’t? Her happy demeanor would charm the unfeeling, her soft features would make anyone develop heart eyes. And then there was I, the less attractive, less important Sano sibling who’s been constantly devoured by Emma’s shadow.

Don’t get me wrong, Mikey is a great brother to me, he’s just…emotionally unavailable.

“Then why are you crying?” Mistsuya asks, softness caressing his voice as he moves to sit next to me instead of in front of me, a gesture of quiet support.

I hesitated, torn between sharing my feelings and shielding them. But his eyes were inviting me to confound in them, promising me to find solace within their depth. Pale, yet captivating. I could see myself swimming in them, in a sea filled with tranquility.

I turn my head again, facing front and look at the ground.

“I—I’m fed up, Taka. I’ve been living in Emma’s shadow for almost my whole life, and I get it, she’s pretty and pretty people are obviously…more favored. She’s just very charming and—I’m —I’m just the less important, invisible Sano sibling. I—I’m trying so hard to just break free…but it’s so hard!” I open up, tears flowing down my flushed cheeks again.

Mitsuya was silent. But his silence was comforting, it told me, in an unspoken whisper, to continue.

“I—I really don’t know what to do, Taka! I’m r—really—really trying! And I—“

I choked on my words, interrupted by Mitsuya shifting to kneel in front of me, meeting my eyes at eye level

His gaze spoke volumes—love, care, and a sense of belonging.

He grabbed a lock of my hair, gently twirling it around his finger and started speaking, his words laden with sincerity.

“Who said that you aren’t pretty, y/n? I think you’re absolutely gorgeous, hell, I find you prettier than Emma!” He grins as he releases the lock of hair and reaches up to my cherry-like cheeks, the pad of his thumb wiping my tears away, making my heart skip a beat. Or two.

“You don’t have to be like Emma, y/n, being you is what makes you stand out the most. I can reassure you that you’re liked as much as Emma is by everyone around you, yeah?” He smiles as he stand up up once more, stretching his hand out to me.

His gestures alleviated my burdens, and I grasped his hand as he pulled me up.

It was unexpected, very unexpected actually, but as soon as i stood up, his arms wrapped around my torso, embracing me with an infinite amount of warmness as clang on to him, wanting to melt into him as I’ve never felt so at peace before. I don’t want to ever leave his embrace.

The wind softly hummed as we stood, in the middle of nowhere, clinging onto each other. He pulled away, planting a kiss on the top of my head.

“Feeling better?”

“Yeah—thank you Taka,” I smiled at him.

“Of course, now let’s go get some ice cream—I’m starving!” He whined jokingly as he guided me to his motorcycle, handing me a helmet.

And with that, the both of us were dashing against the wind, as my hand were tightly wrapped around his torso.

“S-slow down, Taka!” I yelled, scared for my life.

A chuckle came out of his mouth as he sped up.

The word ‘abomination’, no matter how harsh, kept brushing Kusuo’s thoughts. This Kuboyasu was so meek and dependent, the exact opposite of his own. Always on his heels like a loyal dog, staring at him attentively at the slightest movement. It made his stomach cramp. That wasn’t who Kuboyasu was. This boy had been twisted by his alternate self, and yet refused to see it. 

Kusuo stalked up his stairs and tried to think. Maybe it was a blessing he couldn’t read his mind. (Side effect of being from another dimension?) Kusuo didn’t want to hear his thought process, didn’t want to hear the praises and adoration for him that no doubt suffused this Kuboyasu’s thoughts. Telepathy would only keep Kusuo further away, out of pure disgust for what had happened to the other. It-

Oop. It might have kept Kusuo from ripping open his door and walking in on the other Kuboyasu changing. Kusuo froze in shock, his face beginning to burn, entirely unaware of what to do in this situation. This was never a problem he’d had to deal with before. What did people even do!? Oh, good grief, shit, normal people had it rough-

“Oh, you’re back!” Kuboyasu smiled, entirely too eager for someone standing in just their boxers. He was holding the shirt Kusuo had snatched from regular world’s Kuboyasu’s room, and in one smooth motion, it was tugged over his head. He hadn’t even jumped when Kusuo came in, like he was entirely certain of his safety here. 

Crazy. Kusuo couldn’t even fathom the idea. “Sorry,” he offered, a bit late. 

Kuboyasu gave him a confused look. “For what?”

…Ugh. “Nothing,” Kusuo sighed, realizing it wasn’t worth it. Kuboyasu sat down on Kusuo’s bed to tug up his pants, and Kusuo found himself staring. 

This Kuboyasu was abnormally pale. It made him look sick. But everything else pointed to a high degree of health; He was a nice weight and lacked even a hint of eye bags. His hair had a pleasant sheen to it that seemed to belie the assumption of low vitamin D, which made Kusuo think that the other him was even accounting for things like that. Pills, maybe?

Pills that Kuboyasu wouldn’t even be allowed to get himself. He had to rely on alternate Kusuo for all his needs, in complete control of another human being. 

Kusuo was suddenly reminded of his brother. He gave a hidden camera a quick glare, inwardly wondering what he made of the situation. 

Kusuo looked down, viscerally uncomfortable in his own body, then steeled himself. He forced his gaze back up. “Kuboyasu,” he said, getting the other’s attention. The boy straightened up, but Kusuo didn’t miss the flash of hurt at the usage of his last name. “What did you do? Before me?”

Kuboyasu’s eyes, without his glasses, were so wide. Guileless. Despite Kusuo’s Kuboyasu’s genuineness, he never looked like that. Fully trusting, nothing on his mind beyond adoration for the person speaking to him. It made Kusuo think about the dogs he saw sometimes, staring up at their owners like they were their whole world. Hell, Kusuo was this guy’s whole world. It was all he was allowed to see. 

A person who would never betray him, someone who would only ever see the good in him. Someone who loved as easily as they breathed because that’s all they had been trained to do. 

For a sickening moment, Kusuo could almost see the appeal in having that full-bodied trust, that security of love. Someone who would never hurt him by leaving.

A beat. Then- “I don’t remember,” Kuboyasu responded, smiling sweetly again. “Nothing, maybe. There wasn’t anything before you.”

So romantic. So heart-stoppingly, gut-churning horrific. Kusuo took a step back, shaking in sudden terror at himself. Alternate him, him-him, whatever it was. Other him had gone drunk with power over someone. That’s all this was. But there was a biting shame at the realization that this was something he himself was capable of, too. If he was pushed just enough, abandoned just one time too many-

Kusuo tugged open the door and fled. For a moment, he thought about leaving, but found himself stopping at the top of the stairway, breathing hard and squeezing his eyes shut. 

He was in charge of Kuboyasu’s care right now. It obviously upset the other when he left. Alternate him had made this mess, and now Kusuo had to accept the fact that he was the one holding the reins for now. 

He could hear Kuboyasu approaching hesitantly, obviously unsure of his place after being rejected by Kusuo so many times. He forced himself to turn around and cleared his face of any discomfort. 

Kuboyasu was too fragile to go through a new environment, a new reality, without his security blanket. Kusuo couldn’t push him away; it’d break him. 

And something told Kusuo that alternate him would be none-too-pleased to get his favorite pet back in pieces.
