Suguru Geto x reader pt 7
heyy bringing another episode, hope u like it
---------------
Tori and Nanami squared off on the field, both focused and ready. Nanami, with his intense gaze, calculated Tori's movements, aiming to use his Ratio Technique to find her weak points. Tori, however, was nimble and fast, anticipating his strikes and evading his precise blows with impressive agility. As Nanami prepared a finishing strike, Tori caught him off guard, sweeping his feet and landing him flat on the ground.
With a triumphant grin, she leaned over him and teased, "Maybe next time I’ll let you win." She winked, and he couldn’t help but smile back, impressed.
After practice, I sat on Suguru's bed with a warm cup of tea, watching him clean a small wound from sparring with Gojo. The day had been refreshing—a chance to let loose and really push myself.
“Tori was great today,” Suguru said, focused on his bandage. “I think she made a real impression on Nanami, though he’s hard to read sometimes.”
I nodded, excited for her. “Right? And that line she threw at the end… I’m already rooting for them.”
Suguru raised an eyebrow. “Just don’t get your hopes too high. You know both people have to want it.”
I rolled my eyes playfully. “I know, but it’s impossible not to get invested. You know what she asked me in class today?” I smirked, ready to drop the question.
He looked up, interested. “What?”
“If I’d ever thought about a threesome,” I said, pausing before adding, “...with you and Gojo.”
Suguru’s expression didn’t change much, but he gave a casual shrug. “And? Have you?”
My jaw dropped slightly, surprised he was taking it seriously. “Have you?” I countered, deflecting as I tried to figure out what to say.
He leaned back, his gaze steady. “Yeah, I have.”
I stared, stunned at his honesty. This was unexpected. I let out a small laugh, shaking my head. “Well, maybe... yeah, I have too.”
Suguru took my empty cup, placing it aside as he moved closer, his hand brushing a stray strand of hair behind my ear. His expression softened.
“I did some digging into that curse from your mission,” he said, his tone shifting. “It seems like an unusual situation. A strange coincidence, maybe. ”
,,Its okay.. I want to forget it already.” I said. ,,Today I finally felt like normal person again, it was really annoying how everyone were treating me.” I smiled.
,,I bet you like it, I can see it on your face how you like when I take care of you.” he teased.
I started blushing.
,,Today at the sparring, uff you were really great.” he continued. ,,You looked o good swinging that nunchaku.” changing his voice slowly. Playing with laces on my shorts.
,,Did I? Maybe if it didnt ended with you holding me tight under my neck.” I teased back still coping with my defeat.
,,Thats exactly how it was supposed to end.” He smirked.
He leaned closer to my ear. ,,Maybe we should took up from where we left.” My pulse raising as I felt the good nervous. Our faces met so close his lips slowly coming closer ending with collision with mine. He started to kiss me while holding my face with both of his hands. I started to relax giving up and move with his rhythm. When we were close he could do anything I was there for him. My eyes still closed head leaning back as he started to kiss my neck.
Flashes of disjointed visions haunted me—the practice field from earlier, but through Suguru’s eyes. I saw hesitation, followed by his ruse to trick me. Then, a different mission: Gojo battling a curse spirit, raw fear and desperation bleeding into my mind. The emotions weren’t mine, but they were vivid, overwhelming. Memories, sensations, and feelings that didn’t belong to me pulsed through my head. I tried to block it out, but the images pressed harder, forcing my eyes shut.
A sharp flash of light jolted me back.
"What the he—" I groaned, shielding my eyes with my hand. As my vision cleared, I saw Shoko standing over me with a flashlight, concern etched into her face. Suguru sat at the edge of the bed, worry darkening his features.
“You were out for minutes,” Suguru began, his voice tight. “You were shaking. There was blood running from your nose. I got scared.”
“How do you feel? Does your head hurt? Have you experienced anything like this before?” Shoko’s questions came rapid-fire. Her sharp, clinical tone didn’t mask her worry.
I rubbed my eyes, trying to clear the lingering flashes of light. “I’m fine,” I lied, my voice steady. “Probably just some leftover symptoms from the concussion.”
Neither of them looked convinced.
“Really, I’m okay. I just need to rest,” I added, forcing a weak smile. Their concern was suffocating, and I couldn’t bear to add to it by explaining what was really happening.
“You shouldn’t have fought today,” Suguru muttered, guilt tugging at his tone. “If I’d known—”
“It’s not your fault!” I interrupted, desperate to stop him from blaming himself. “I felt fine. I didn’t know this would happen either.”
Shoko still wasn’t buying it. “Call me immediately if anything happens again. Understood?” Her tone was stern, almost scolding.
“Yeah, sure,” I mumbled as she left, clearly unconvinced.
But I wasn’t off the hook yet. Suguru’s eyes narrowed as he leaned forward, his voice quiet but firm. “You’re not telling me everything, are you?”
I tensed, trying to keep my expression neutral. “Of course I am. I told you—it’s just a leftover symptom.”
“It doesn’t seem like it,” he said, his tone hardening. “You don’t just black out like that for no reason.”
“I know, and I’m sorry I scared you, but I’m fine. Please, Suguru,” I pleaded, reaching for his arm. He pulled away, his jaw tightening.
“Not until you tell me the truth,” he said coldly.
My chest tightened. Conflict with Suguru wasn’t common, but when it happened, it felt like the air between us grew impossibly heavy. This wasn’t just a disagreement; it was a crack in something deeper, and I hated it.
“There’s nothing to tell,” I said softly, the lie heavy on my tongue.
He stared at me for a moment longer before standing up abruptly, the silence between us unbearable.
I trudged back to my room, my mind heavy with unanswered questions and Suguru’s cold demeanor. Once inside, I flicked on the lights and scanned my desk, grabbing every book I could find on sorcery and jujutsu techniques. Determined, I sat down and began flipping through pages, hoping for a glimmer of insight.
Emotion manipulation, sensing emotions, imprinting memories... The words blurred together as the hours ticked by. Frustration mounted as nothing seemed to align perfectly with what I was experiencing. By dawn, I had migrated to my bed, books scattered around me. My exhaustion won out, and I fell asleep.
I woke to the harsh glare of mid-morning light streaming through my window. My head throbbed from oversleeping, but I had no time to dwell on it. Maybe the school library would hold what I was looking for. After freshening up, I headed there, determined to dig deeper.
The library was serene, sunlight cascading through tall windows and painting the rows of bookshelves in a warm glow. My fingers trailed along the spines as I searched, pulling books out one by one, only to find them useless. Hours passed with no answers. Desperation set in as I reached the last section of shelves.
And then I saw it. A worn leather book with the faint gold-embossed title, "Empathic Manipulations and the Veil of Aether." My heart skipped a beat as I pulled it out and opened to the first page.
“Hollow energy manifests as a reflection of the sorcerer’s emotional depth. It thrives on balance—courage against fear, calm against chaos. However, overexposure to Hollow energy risks emotional fusion, where sorcerer and conduit become inseparable, leading to madness or loss of self.”
I sank into a nearby chair, gripping the book tightly as I read on.
“Few wielders of emotional shadow energy exist in records. Those who mastered such techniques often walked a fine line between savior and oppressor, bending morale as one bends steel. Emotional energy, though subtle, holds catastrophic potential when unchecked.”
The next chapter addressed practical use and its risks:
“When channeling emotional energy, proximity to heightened emotions—love, rage, despair—can significantly amplify the Veil’s power. However, the sorcerer must master advanced grounding rituals to mitigate feedback. Emotions are tides: constant but ever-changing. A sorcerer with empathic abilities must be a lighthouse—anchored and steady—lest they be swept away by others’ storms.”
The final section chilled me.
“Energy connected to remnants of curses or individuals often imprints emotional or sensory echoes. These echoes, while untraceable to ordinary senses, may manifest in unique sorcerers who possess high empathetic sensitivity. This technique, sometimes called 'Residual Empathy,' allows the user to glimpse into the emotions, memories, or intentions tied to residual energy but requires mental discipline to avoid overwhelming feedback.”
I stared at the page, the implications sinking in. “Without mastery, such a technique can lead to psychological strain, blurred distinctions between self and others, and intrusive thoughts. Guidance is advised to safely integrate and manage these abilities.”
Sliding the book under my arm, I left the library. My mind buzzed with the weight of what I’d learned. No pressure—if I didn’t master this, it could very well consume me. Great.
What now? Should I find a sensei to teach me? How do I balance this thing? Ugh, the only way is to train it, so I can learn control. But how can I train when there’s always someone around?
After copying notes from the books into my journal, I tried meditating. My goal was to summon those foreign memories at will. Focusing on past fights, on my opponents, on their emotions. Nothing. I shifted to sensing my cursed energy—still nothing. How does this damn technique even work? Frustrated, I flopped onto my bed, staring at the ceiling.
Beep.My phone buzzed, and I scrambled to check it, hoping it was Suguru reaching out. It wasn’t—it was Tori. “Can you come over tonight? I stayed this weekend at school.”
A break might not be such a bad idea. Maybe I deserved to step away from this burden for a while.
I knocked softly, pushing Tori’s door open. “Can I come in?” I asked, peeking inside.
Tori sat cross-legged on her bed, a huge smile lighting up her face. Her room was just like everyone else’s, except for the mountain of plushies in every corner. I used to tease her mercilessly about them, but over time, I’d grown so used to them that I barely noticed anymore.
“Yeah, of course, come here!” she chirped, patting the bed beside her.
I sat down, curious. “I have big news!” she squealed, her fists clenched with excitement.
I raised an eyebrow, ready for her to spill.
“So, you know how yesterday, after practice, you and Suguru left and we all went our ways?” Tori began, her grin wide as she leaned closer. “Nanami walked me back to my room! He had some notes about our sparring match, and as we walked, he said he hopes we can talk more—not just about practice!” She squealed, barely able to contain her excitement.
“No way!” I gasped, covering my mouth in shock. “I knew you made an impression!”
We hugged, laughing and jumping together while still seated. “I’m so happy for you, Tori! You were right—he definitely has an eye for you!”
“I know, I know!” She beamed, then paused, her expression shifting to a more serious one. “But what now? What do I wear next week? Maybe we should arrange another practice—or you and Suguru could invite us for mahjong or something?”
The mention of Suguru made my stomach drop. I nodded absentmindedly as she pulled out an outfit to show me, but my mind lingered on how strained things had become with him.
“How was your day? You seemed down when you walked in,” she asked, concerned. “Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine,” I lied, forcing a smile. “Just tired. Stayed up watching a series all night.”
She raised an eyebrow but didn’t push further. Soon, she launched into an endless stream of possibilities about her budding relationship with Nanami. While I couldn’t fully focus, it was a relief to get lost in her excitement.
We stayed up late, talking and laughing before settling on a cheesy rom-com. I fell asleep for the first time in what felt like days without the weight of my thoughts crushing me.
The next morning, Tori and I decided to head into the city for some shopping—she wanted something new to impress Nanami, and I needed a change of scenery. We agreed to meet at the vending machines before heading out.
I was running late, fumbling to adjust my outfit as I rushed to the meeting point. Turning the corner, I spotted Tori waiting. But she wasn’t alone. Suguru stood nearby, deep in conversation with someone else.
For a fleeting moment, his gaze met mine. His expression remained neutral, his acknowledgment a faint smile before he turned back to his conversation.
Tori noticed my hesitation as I approached. “What’s up with him?” she asked, glancing back at Suguru with a puzzled look.
“We’re not talking,” I said flatly, shrugging. “Or rather, I’m not talking to him, and he’s mad about it.”
“Well,” she teased, nudging me with her elbow, “maybe you should buy something today to make him talk.”
Her playful tone made me crack a smile, even as my chest tightened at the thought of him.

Just saw Luis Mesa's tweet saying that in fact, Daniel fell/would feel in love with Betty BEFORE her transformation and I'm spiraling because it makes sense the Betty/Daniel parallels in the first chapters, he going mad with Patricia because she blocked Betty's computer, he literally says that he's after Armando's head, not Betty's; also asking her why she looks so scared when she sees him with a reflective look. Also when he heard about Betty's boyfriend, he goes full mad to humiliate session on her look BUT he actually saw her look literally minutes ago and didn't said nothing.
I think it would be kinda interesting but in telenovelas, the guión is decided by the audience so it was only Betty/Armando without a triangle (Nicolas doesn't count ajsksks) until Michel.
What do you think YSBLF would go if they went with Daniel/Betty/Armando?
HIIII
Omgggg someone pls send me a screenshot or something!! I need tl see this!!! I'm usually not a big fan of what the actors say, but this one I kinda believe it lmao
I thought for a very long while when watching for the firdt time that Daniel was eventually going to go after Betty! I thiught he would fall for her or at least want "something" with her... not actual love, perhaps, but you know, SOMETHING... but no!
I hadn't noticed some of the details you're mentioning! I did see the parallels at the beginning, and how Betty pretty much falls perfectly in lone with what Daniel looks for in a woman. I also noticed that he seemed to genuinely find humour in his talks to Betty but didn't like her winning the arguments. I also noticed he was surprised with how scared she was of him! But that thing about his reaction to hearing Betty has a bf?? Uf, I hadn't noticed or made the connection!!! I will definitely pay more attention to Daniel this rewatch!
Uff what a hard question!! It'd be very difficult to know how it'd go, and things can change so much depending on when Daniel were to be interested in Betty. I think that if the initial idea was to make Daniel actually eventually fall in love, it was a short lived idea, because Daniel never even shows a bjt of kindness like Armando does. I mean, Daniel is a pretty twisted man and a bit sadistic. I imagine that if they had actually wanted to make Daniel a love rival, Daniel's personality and wickedness would have been softened.
I've been writing a fanfic about this (not a D/B, but he still pursues her), and in my vision, I think he'd need to see her physical potential for beauty. Pretty much like Armando, Daniel also feels attraction for Betty but is repelled by her looks. Armando was forced to bream this barriers during the Sinister Plan, but I think Daniel would only break them if he saw Betty improving her appearence. He seemed to me a more superficial man compared to Armando, and I don't think Daniel would ever even consider going public.
I definitely think that Armando would be losing his head over the idea of TWO men going after Betty tho (Nicolás and Daniel) lmaooo also Mario would have a hell of a time laughing about it. Marcela would be FURIOUS about it. Patricia would feel humiliated thinking that Daniel could have had her and instead chose BETTY. And Betty herself would be HORRIFIED, because she hates his guts lmaooo straight up the only way she would ever tolarate him was with blackmails (cough cough like about the Panamá illegal businesses or something cough cough)
It's still a very interesting take! I definitely see where it comes from but I also think this idea was too quickly forgotten. I wouldn't even know where the AU could start for Daniel to be a proper love rival!
Thank you for the lovely question!! Sorry if I couldn't elaborate much🥲

(despairingly) ... lack of funds...
... it's not even like we're overly wasteful... haven't blown money on luxuries at all... it'd be so nice... uff... seriously, why is it so hard to settle our cash...
NERO: "Well, you are right that the Bout is rather promising in terms of funds."
MUSASHI: "Speaking of the Bout, my match is coming up. We've gotta go-- you too, managers! Let's get moving!"
Heading to the arena, you found yourself in the locker rooms, speaking with JAGUAR MAN.
JAGUAR MAN: "Normally, it'd just be our lovely Samurai running solo... However, since she's a Servant and Moby Dick is considered a 'final boss-tier enemy', I figured you could come along. If you want to keep things legit, you can just sit back and watch instead of helping."
It seemed like you were allowed to come and help this time around.
Really. With JAGUAR MAN running things, the rules were more akin to 'suggestions', weren't they?
JAGUAR MAN: "Anyways, don't die! You acted as a real promising heel during the match with the Fairy Guy, so I'd like to see more of you! Bye!"
Wasn't killing banned? Did the Moby Dick program understand that?
Before you could ask any other questions- you were suddenly warped into the 'battle zone' along with MUSASHI. You were falling from quite the distance, the samurai flipping in the air and swooping towards you, clutching you in her arms and holding you to her chest as she touched down onto the ground, her boots skidding against rock and gravel.
She put you down, looking around. You saw a drab-looking coastline, surrounded by dark waters and heavy cloud cover.
MUSASHI: "...Phew... let's do this, Managers!"
It was quiet. You heard the sound of the waves crashing, before a transmission echoed over the zone you had been transported to.
--
JAGUAR MAN: "Oh man, I know you've all been waiting for this! Two prime fighters! Moby Dick, our nigh-undefeatable oceanic behemoth! The Null Zero Samurai, our cold-blooded, beautiful rookie! And we have a rare guest, one of the few people who's bested Moby Dick- the mighty Jishnu has suddenly found free time during the Main Bout matches, so he's here to help with commentary!"
DURYODHANA: "Ha ha ha. Would you like to keep pouring salt on the wound, or can we get started?"
DURYODHANA: "Anyways, this is a rather momentous occasion. There aren't many fighters that I think will be able to even last 10 seconds against Moby Dick, but I have a feeling that we're seeing a fighter that will make it to the rare echelons of 'people who aren't obliterated instantly'."
JAGUAR MAN: "While Father Kotomine will be covering Adamant and the Man-Slayer, and Miss Cat will be guest-commentating on the Cuauhtli and Strong-Mask Bout, we'll be doing double-duty covering the-- huh? Hang on, the Wandering Blade just lost. That fast? Really? I guess we're just covering Moby Dick and the Samurai, then! Jishnu, do you have any last minute advice?"
DURYODHANA: "Not just anyone can fight Moby Dick. It takes a solid awareness of your surroundings, and ingenuity. Hardly anything ever works twice against that thing. But, the goal is simple-- either knock it out for 10 seconds, or get it to fully retreat. In other words, the resourceful tend to have better chances."
JAGAUR MAN: "And with that, fine people of the Solar Cell-- let's have ourselves a Bout!"
--
Once it ended, you found yourself back in the eerie atmosphere of the beach, the only noise coming from the waves lapping against the shore.
Off in the distance, you heard the sound of a whale bellowing. No sights of anything, however.
The first thing that caught your eye was a small dock, and a person standing on a large ship. That was probably used in the fight against MOBY DICK, to give people a nautical advantage.
The first thing MUSASHI saw was herself in the water's reflection.
MUSASHI: "Hel~lo there..."
...Right. The charm effect on the Mystic Code. She stood, looking at her reflection in the ocean water before a wave broke it up, MUSASHI blinking a few times before looking around.
MUSASHI: "Oh, sweet! A ship!"
SABER beamed, rushing over.
MUSASHI: "Yoo-hoo! Hi there, beautiful lady standing next to a beautiful ship!"
The person on the ship looked down, leaning over the railing with a disarmingly friendly smile.
PRIVATEER: "Hahaha, what an introduction! You can just call me the 'Privateer'. I was summoned for a more flashy purpose, but this and that happened, so I'm working freelance. Anyways-- 1500 PPT, and you have a boat set and ready to sail against Moby Dick!"
Oh, alright. That made sen--
--Huh?
Wait...
What?
1500 PPT?
MUSASHI: "Wait, you're charging us? Don't you work for the Bout? I thought it'd be free!"
PRIVATEER: "My contract with the Jaguar just requires me to have a boat available for any participating fighters. Which I do. There's a free one down there. Look."
She pointed at a run-down, wooden dinghy next to the ship. It looked… stable. In the sense that it could float. And it didn't really seem to be doing that very well either.
Did JAGUAR MAN know about this?
...Actually, knowing her, she probably approved it.
PRIVATEER: "But… A good boat, and maybe some extra help? That costs money. It's not like my price is steep, it's only 10% of the prize pot… and if you can beat Moby Dick, don't you have a solid chance at being the champ and winning all that cash anyways? Besides, I'm sure you've heard that Moby Dick is a 'final-boss tier' Enemy Program. You'll need everything you can get. You scratch my back, I scratch yours. So, whad'dya say?"
…Did you somehow find a person more shrewd (greedy) than PRETENDER? Still… it wasn't like you had to use it. It was a luxury…
…A luxury, that's all it was…
...You didn't NEED to have a good ship in order to take down Moby Dick, right?

Greef Karga holding Grogu while standing on Nevarro with his minions arrayed behind him and Kuiil and Din Djarin facing him from their position on the blurrgs. Image from The Mandalorian, Season 1, Episode 7, The Reckoning. Calendar by DateWorks.
Grogu wasn’t sure if Greef Karga was being affectionate or insulting. He supposed that insulting was closer to the truth. Grogu had nothing in common with bogwings and never had. They didn’t eat the same food. They didn’t get around the same way. They couldn’t use the Force. And no one ever put a bounty out on a bogwing.
So why use bogwings as the critter to compare him to? It didn’t make sense. Unless Karga was afraid of them… that was probably the problem. Greef Karga must have run into a desperation of bogwings somewhere. But where? Bogwings weren’t native to Nevarro. They also weren’t easy to transport. So how the heck had he run into them?
Grogu hadn’t been able to ask him any questions about that given the circumstances. They’d only just met and since he was the one being brought in ‘warm’, there really wasn’t a basis for either of them to discuss the comment in anything like a neutral, trusting manner. Whatever the head of the bounty guild alleged to him, Grogu would have to discount it as a rationalization that allowed for the kidnapping of a person using pseudo governmental authority.
So it was funny to him, years later, when he was sitting on the High Magistrates chair, spinning it around with the Force, and eating the snacks off of his friend’s desk, that he suddenly remembered the bogwing comment. Grogu’s dad had left the office to look at some ‘situation’ that IG-11-M thought required the perspective of a Mandalorian bounty hunter, meaning that Grogu’s question wasn’t going to be interrupted or ignored.
The first thing Grogu had to do was get Greef Karga’s attention. The tall man was in deep conversation with his protocol droid. Uff. Protocol droids. They were such sticklers for order and process and neatness. Sometimes Grogu joked with Peli that he dad was really a protocol droid under that Mandalorian armor. They’d had a good chuckle about that until Din Djarin showed up and began to brush crumbs off of Grogu’s coverall and then he and Peli both fell over laughing. His dad had been baffled by their response.
But Grogu knew that he could use that information to his advantage. With a deft move of his hand, the bowl of tidbits that he’d been eating went flying and cascaded over the protocol droid, leaving a path of crumb lingering messiness that led right out of the office. He hoped the protocol droid would take the bait. It was hard to imagine that it wouldn’t, protocol droids being what they were.
“Get this mess cleaned up and replenish the bowl. I can’t have my office look like an eopie corral. And the little one needs to keep up his strength. Are you alright, Grogu?”
Greef Karga fell right in with Grogu’s unstated plan. Excellent!
Grogu apologized for making the mess. It was always good to get that out of the way right up front and set the stage for the next part of the plan.
“No problem. None at all. That’s why I have protocol droids. Things happen, don’t they my young friend?”
Grogu nodded and smiled and then pounced.
“What’s that about bogwings? You thought you saw one?!”
Greef Karga was on high alert! He was looking over his shoulder and checking every corner of the room and then glanced under the desk, all in a quick, fluid movement that made Grogu dizzy, which was pretty remarkable considering how long he’d been spinning around in the High Magistrate’s chair.
Grogu stifled his laughter and began to sign to his tall, panic stricken friend that he’d been thinking about bogwings, not looking at them.
“That’s good. Really, that’s very good. Those creatures are nothing but trouble. You know they’re a form of reptavian? You know that big flying critter that attacked us that one time. You know, when you did the magic hand thing?”
Karga was speaking faster and faster, while still examining the room, to assure himself that Grogu hadn’t made bogwings appear just by thinking about them.
Grogu nodded his head and tried to look sympathetic.
“Those little bast…critters are just as bad as their bigger cousins. Do you know what they call a large group of bogwings? A Desperation. They aren’t wrong about that either. Uff. I hate those critters as much as I hate their larger cousins. Awful critters.”
Grogu watched his friend begin to pace around the office, swishing his official robes as he went.
“When I was just a wet behind the ears apprentice bounty hunter I was on Naboo. Has your dad brought you there yet? No? Well Naboo is, well, it’s almost the opposite of Nevarro. Lakes and rivers everywhere. Rolling green hills. Swamps. Forrests. All of that sort of thing. The cities on Naboo are amazing, but kind of overbuilt. Everything was a tribute to someone or some notable event.
But you don’t find bounties sitting around in the public square just waiting to be picked up. Nope. They always hide. Usually in a bar or tavern in my experience, but always off the beaten track. My mentor and I had just arrived at this small town. The town was at the point where the Great Naboo Forrest met with the Wondrous Plains of Naboo and the Ethereal Swamp of Naboo. Crazy names I know. You’d think it was some sort of amazingly beautiful place, but it wasn’t. It was dark, dank, smelly, and felt like night time even during the day.
Before we went into the tavern I told my mentor I had to use the privy. Better to do that prior to anything happening with the bounty target, you know. Any how, the privy was an oldish building, outside the tavern, and almost as soon as I entered, I realized something was wrong with the place. I could hear breathing. I thought maybe someone else was in there with me. I told them to show themselves with a loud authoritative voice. Then those damn bogwings opened their eyes and I’m man enough to tell you, I got the heck out of there! Of course they followed me and chased me half way back to Theed! On the plus side, my mentor caught the person we had the bounty fob for. They’d been stuck in that privy for who knows how long and didn’t leave it until ‘I’ scared the bogwings out. It seems funny now, but I don’t mind telling you, at the time it pretty awful.”
Grogu hopped from the chair to the desk to Greef Karga’s shoulder and gave his friend a soft bump to the head. He wanted his friend to understand that he really appreciated the information he’d just shared. It was a great story and it explained a lot. Enough that Grogu knew exactly what he was going to dress like for the Festival of Changing Seasons which was coming up on Nevarro. After all, how hard could it be to make a bogwing costume?

I'd actually like to throw the questions you asked me back at you. ;) So 1,2,3,7 and 14 please. :D
Thank you! ;u;
(hope you don't mind my stoned rambling, I apologize)
1. Do you hide any secrets in your stories that only a few people will find?
Hard to say to be honest, I feel like there are a few little details here and there like references to other media that I'm inspired by or small things that have a certain significance to me that nobody would really notice or find probably.
Aside from that you could say that I mostly keep it a secret who might be fronting at any given moment when Mel makes an appearance, since his switches aren't that obvious.
Apart from that...I feel like I'm actually keeping too few things a secret x'D
2. Sims writing has a visual component. How do you utilize color/objects and settings in your stories?
Uff…I kinda try to find a balance between what I find visually appealing and what associations I (one) might have to a certain colour or imagery etc. It would be a far stretch to say I know what I'm doing in that regard tho. I don't really put that much thought into it to be honest, I only tend to notice these things after I have another look at the scene. Like…the light in this scene is blue because I think it looks good, but later I realize that there's more to my colour choice than I initially thought.
3. Which process do you dedicate more time to, editing visuals or editing your writing? Why?
Neither, lol. I mean…I definitely spend more time editing my pictures than my writing, but that also tends to go hand in hand for me because I usually only manage to write a scene when I have some pictures to back me up already
7. Do you have any characters you believe might be misunderstood by your readers?
Yes?No? I don't know to be honest. I feel like Mabon could be misunderstood, or a lot of the Alters in general, since DID is so vastly misunderstood in general.
Also a few characters might be looked on more favourably than they deserve and others might be hated more than I'd think is right, but in the end I can only really speak from my perception of the character here. So...dunno.
14. What is something that you think most of your readers might miss?
Not much honestly, I feel like most people are way more perceptive than me when it comes to those kinds of subtleties xD
However (back to question number 1) I dare to say if I' didn't emphasize on the fact that Mel switching is in fact very covert people might not realize that another alter is in the front when it's seemingly Mel, that can add a new dynamic to a scene and I think that's something that can be easily missed.
I also feel like people might miss that my story is supposed to play in the UK but that's solely on me and my shitty story telling xD

IPKKND LIVE BLOG SEASON 1 [Epi. 7]
Hi. Aa jaao. You already know what do we do here. Baith gaye? Chalo start. Acha. Ruko. Saath mein popcorns liya? Lol. :P Chalo aao ab start karte hein, serious :)
1. Bitwa's face tho. He seems to be so damn irritated. Anyways.
2. Uhhh.. Bitwa.. Your wife Khushi is talking about the harkat that you did back in Lucknow, a day or two ago. Don't play ignorant now, okay? I know, you very well understand what is she tryna say, uhh-huhhh. Acting smart.
3. And what the freaking hell was with that line, Bitwa? "Toh mere har kaam mein taang araana band karo." When did SHE taang araao in your 'kaam'? I don't remember. Is she already disturbing you in your sleep? Have you already started falling for her? I am so sorry to say this. But. You are such a gone case, Bitwa. Lol. Whatever.
4. You are tryna intimidate her but I think the one getting more intimidated is YOU, alone my dear Bitwa. She is very much at peace right now. Whatever.
5. Look at that two seconds satisfying smile, Bitwa flashes, when Khushi says, "Phir paisa?" Lol. He is definitely enjoying this.
6. Tryna provoke her, are we, Bitwa?
7. Look at his face when Khushi is giving her monologue of khuddari and udhaar nahi lete and all that. He is so freaking enjoying this. His face's like 'Her whole life is gonna feel like a lie to her once she knows the price money.'
8. Khushi ~very confidently so~ picks up her basta to fish out 'the price money'. She is actually ~oh so innocent~ y'all. Sometimes I feel like pulling her cheeks so hard. Kucchi pucchi ku you kiddo, you haven't even seen your neighborhood states, forget about seeing the world.
9. Actually, this fact might have further intrigued him more, that she is an eighteen year old, fresh out of school, middle class girl ~a literal nobody~ in front of him and yet her zeal, confidence and enthusiasm is unmatchable.
10. "Pacchis hazaar." and all the color rushes out of her face and she gives him a side glance like 'Duh. Really!? This giant oldie will take THAT MUCH for repairing?'
11. Arnav feels like he should cut some slack off for this girl, after all she have had to endure a lot because of his tape fiasco as she subtly hinted at when the conversation had begun.
12. So. Instead of further taking money from her, he decides to help her in his own ~I am the knight in shining armor for a damsel in distress like you~ (In one word: ARROGANT) way. He. Read it carefully. He GRABS her arm ~with that haq~ (excuse me sir? care to explain?) and places a new crisp one thousand rupee note and closes her palm. Uff. I will die of the intensity of haq he is exercising over her and the way she lets him do so without snatching away her hand. (Note that she would always snatch away her hand whenever Shyam would try to do something of that sort.)
13. "Khuddari ki baatein humesha bohot sasti hoti hain aur paisa bohot mehenga. Tum bhi yahin ho aur main bhi. We'll see." Kyun Bitwa? What happened to your two second old suggestion for Khushi to return back to Lucknow with the 'leftover money'? Do you not want your wife her to leave? Do you already want your wife her to stay around you as much as possible? Tum kya see karoge Bitwa hum tohka see karihein iske baad se haan.
14. "....Haan ab theek hai..." Kya theek hai Bitwa? Ya phir more like kaun theek hai? Tum? Ya woh fashion show wali ladki? Kya janna chah rahe the tum Bitwa? That Khushi is fine or not? And what happened to your 'das minute mein pahunch jaunga wali meeting' for which you couldn't 'waste' your precious time for the puja this morning? Who oh who will answer my goddamn questions? BTW, so men really do forget everything after meeting their wives huh? And I see our Bitwa is no exception. Lol. Whatever.
15. Wah wah 'tuuu ruru tuutuu rururu'(Lol. I have no fucking idea why did I add the bg sound for her here. Lol. Please bear with me.) MAMIJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII. Belcome Homes Mamiji.
16. Hahahaahahaahha. See y'all I seriously lost it jab mamiji ne touchwood bolke apna sir hi touch karliya. Lol. Whatever.
17. Vyjanthimala, huh? Really? Mamiji? Ok. Wait. Y'all. Lemme show you who is Vyjanthimala.
*runs to google to search up her name coz has no idea herself who she is*
*skims through the photos*
*is awestruck by her beauty*
*debates about the selection of photo*
*decides one and takes screenshot*
*adds it here along with the link*
Presenting y'all.
Vyjayanthimala.
Indian actress and dancer.
This is Vyjanthimala. Of course, this is an old picture (She is ninety years old now. Wow. Can you believe it? This young beauty is ninety years old now.)
So. Yeah. Now you can see for yourself, who is she comparing herself with. Such heights of flattery for your own self, mamiji? Not good. (Utkarsha ma'am is of course very beautiful. I am just pointing out the character flaw, given to her, of over-glorifying herself and her sun and her huzbend and her phamily.)
18. She really 'thued' at her own reflection y'all. Lmao. I can't-*wheezes away for the next four business days*
19. Lol. I love mamaji and mamiji's banter y'all. The way mamaji compliments her and keeps his mouth shut when she gets irritated. Lmao. One of the relationships I so love throughout the show.
20. "Itni muskil se toh auda banaye, usko aise hi jaane de?" A little glossary here. Ohada means (as explained by my friend @phuljari di) (pad/sthaan/padwi in hindi) status like we see here mamiji had to do a lot to gain/earn a place in the Raizada Household. So it is actually very important for her to always look 'tip-taap' as she believes that only then, she would be accepted as a Raizada bahu if she 'looks' like it. I hope I was able to make it clear.
21. And here comes naniji. Looking for some Lakshmi.
22. Okay. So. One more thing. See how mamiji literally acts like a teenager as she kind of rebels against her order of coming down immediately. So she refuses to follow her order and tells her husband that she would arrive a few minutes later. Hmm. Speaks a lot about the kind of relation mamiji and her saas-o-maa share.
23. And look how naniji dismisses her as well saying that she isn't waiting for her but for the children.
24. See? You noticed how Bitwa tossed away Aakash's question about 'uss din wali ladki'? This also means nobody except Anjali Di know about the Lucknow fiasco. Also, look how he shook his head when Aakash offered to take legal action against her? Ufff. I will die of this protective-ness and possessive-ness already.
25. Do you too find Arnav's face particularly hot and delicious in this scene where he is talking to Aakash? Also I am kicking my legs and squealing at that dent wali line. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. God. Oh. God. Please save me.
26. And we are immediately taken to that 'uss din ladki' who has just returned from her trip to the pharmacy shop.
27. Shut up buaji. She had gone out running, only FOR YOU. Show some grateful-ness. Dammit.
28. We are again taken back to Shantivan.
29. The smart-ass Raizada brothers walk in, with full tashan. Everyone quickly dismiss themselves and nani and Arnav are left alone.
30. Wait. Look at nani's expression. Arnav gets the hint that she wants to speak to him about something. And the atmosphere quickly turns awkward as Arnav struggles to maintain small-talk. Asking about her trip and the facilities provided.
31. Nani explains him that she went to a pilgrimage, a place where one needs to do some hard work in order to receive the fruits of their prayers. Then she continues to say that this time she had gone there for him and Arnav is surprised, "Mere liye?" Look at the way he asks it. He definitely did not expect it.
32. But then nani continues to speak cryptically. "Jiss raftaar se aap chalat hain, uss raftaar per swayam ke alawa sab kuch dhundlaiye jaat hai." Arnav counters back, "Nani mujhe sab kuch saaf-saaf dikh raha hai." "Galat jagah dekh rahe hain aap. Sirf aage hi nahi nazar ghumaakar piche bhi dekh lijiye. Har pidhi aane wali pidhi ko kuch sikha ke jaat hai. Lekin jab raftaar thodi dhimi ho tabhi sahi galat ki pehchaan hui sakat hai." I want to process these lines some more then will let you know my views on this monologue.
33. Anjali di brings a white kurta for him which will undoubtedly go to the un-used collection of ethnics Arnav has.
34. She somehow senses his mood which is still sour from the lines nani spoke to him a few moments ago and the encounter he had with Khushi on the road. And di yet again reminds him of her. She tries to know about the incident but Arnav dodges it away by saying, "Kuch khaas nahi."
35. Khushi again has to bear the brunt of buaji's anger.
36. Buaji tell me one thing. Uncle ko koi uncle nahi bolega toh kya bolega. Uff. Somebody please help her.
37. And the moment she reminds her of 'paisa'. Khushi again immerses herself in the world of Laard guvunur and his pacchis hazaar(her oh-so-sweet escapism y'all ;) ).
38. Both the sisters go to the market to buy some sabzi. But Khushi cannot think anything else other than her woh. She literally said it. "Jiji WOH phirse mila tha." At this point, Khushi is just a lost case. Payal rightly points out her 'chain' has been 'chhined' by that LG.
39. Khushi explains her that her 'chain' will not be back until and unless she pays back the pacchis hazaar that she owes him.
40. Ew! Shyam enters with an umbrella. Ew. Ew. Ew. His cryptic words irks me to no extent. So maybe he had indeed planned the fight with those rogues in order to ensure that her parents would send her to Delhi. Whatever. Bye. I don't watch precaps.
P.S.: No P.S. Ghar jaao. Bye.

Challenge time!
I got a challenge. So I found this:
random generator thing. I typed in the different species we know from canon (tv-show canon for me), and that will randomly assign a species for a character. Like you press go for Magnus, write down result, then press go for Alec, write down result, and so on. Then, once the species have been assigned to the characters, you need to think up a prompt for them. My picks will be under the cut.
Magnus: Shadowhunter
Alec: Higher demon/prince of hell
Jace: Seelie
Izzy: Angel
Clary: Werewolf
Simon: Vampire (🤣)
Raphael: Vampire (Are you kidding me?!)
Catarina: Vampire (is this thing broken?)
Ragnor: Mundane
Maia: Mundane
Luke: Warlock (finally got a warlock in the mix)
okay, I will cap it here for now, other characters can be assigned later if need be.
uff. this is surprisingly hard.
Magnus is the only shadowhunter.
Alec as a higher demon has potential, not gonna lie.
Seelie Jace. hmmm.
and Izzy an angel. Then there could still be a sibling relationship between her and alec, actually. Alec is simply a fallen angel. Izzy didn't fall because she still follows the doctrine. though she might fall as the plot progresses.
Clary as a werewolf. Guess that is easy enough. She could be a mundane that had an encounter with a rogue werewolf, and Magnus found/saved her. Not knowing whether or not she will turn, he can't take her to a hospital. If she needed medical attention, he would probably take her to the institute, where they could also monitor if she changes, dies, or remains mundane. after the change, he can get her to the nearest wolf clan and inform them of the rogue that got her.
simon could also start out as a mundane, maybe he was even with clary when she was bitten and Magnus had to take him along as well. as both simon and clary then want to learn more about the shadow world, simon lands himself on the business end of a pair of vamp fangs. (could be Camille)
Raphael and Catarina could have history. Catarina could be leader of the clan! maybe she was the one who turned raphael in a bit to save his life.
Ragnor could be like a mundane university professor who is well versed in obscured knowledge and the history of mysterious stuff. Maybe Magnus is enrolled in one of his classes, because he has discovered that some of the mundane knowledge about all that goes bump in the dark can be surprinsgly helpful
Maia… I don't know yet.
Luke could be the high warlock of the territory.
okay, how to bring higher demon/prince of hell Alec into the mix.
obviously there would have to be some kind of summoning.
or alec himself decided to visit the mundane plain for a bit, because why not?
and maybe he just happens to witness the shadowhunter that is so uniquely dressed for his kind, fighting off demons, or that rogue werewolf, or whatever. and he takes a shine to him.
Or, Clary was supposed to be a shadowhunter (like her canon counterpart), and Luke was the high warlock who blocked her sight/erased her memories, and the werewolf thing just happened. So when the transformation seems to mess with Clary more than it should, because there is a magical block involved (which they don't know at this point), Magnus calls in the high warlock. Luke helps Clary through the transforamtion, but then in order to have the chaotic energies in Clary balance out, they need to get her her memories back. And just like Magnus in canon, Luke had given them to a demon for safekeeping. The demon in question happens to be Alec.

hi! sorry if this is out of nowhere, but i checked the knifepoint horror tag out of curiosity (been listening since 2020, alongside with the 1st magpod) and your posts from march about magpod resonated with me ! and i feel this way ESPECIALLY about magnus protocol - after the hiatus in april i tried to get back to listening to it weekly but its just .. so disappointing, compared to both archives and even more much so knifepoint. the vibe departed from horror and started feeling like an office audiodrama with some vague spooks thrown in as decoration. what are your thoughts on protocol right now? do you still listen? if not, what put you off? and most importantly - fav knifepoint episode? : D
Hii, ohh, I couldn't shut up about knifepoint, so I loooove the question about it (tmagp is aslo here)
I kept listening to tmagp after a break mostly to have something more chill to listen after I'm in Eskew (it's like everything tma/gp isnt, which is beautiful written and devastatingly sad, and became my favourite fiction podcast ever immediately)
But yeah, I'm still listening but catch myself thinking that most eps are bland and uninspired, even compared to tma. Aslo stories are too short to really get into the vibe, there's zero space for anything interesting or memorable to happen
Especially remembering how buckwild average knifepoint experience can be
Main plot with the Protocol started getting places recently, but it's hard to care about it bc it's being diluted by really boring office drama
I still listen for Gwen's story tho, her evil grindset of meeting all of the "externals" is honestly the most fun part of any episode. But still kinda think of dropping it too
Uff, I have maybe ten or so fave knifepoint eps, but love Possession the most. It has everything, it hits hard, the plot is strange and sad, but aslo hopeful. And it's one of those episodes I can't stop thinking about
(Pls tell me about your favourite one too is you want)
(aslo sorry the answer is soo long o:)

Hellooo :) 16, 18, 27 and 30 for the Simon asks if you'd like 😊💜
hey :) thanks for the questions!
16. Deepest darkest secret they won’t even admit to themselves
Starting right off with the hardest question lmao uff...maybe being scared of ending up like his father...idk if that's deep and dark enough though
18. What they’d go to see a therapist about
oh, there might be a few things lol, Simon definitely has some unresolved issues and trauma about his upbringing and childhood probably. What's it like growing up with an addict father, what does that mean for his relationship with alcohol and drugs? His parents separation and how it influences his relationship with his mother and sister and resulted in him growing up faster and taking care of the people around him and ignoring his own needs and possibly letting others take advantage of him. He needs to acknowledge these things and while he does set some boundaries he still has to get better at not just giving emotional support but also voicing his own needs more and let others take care of him and not just bottle things up internally for so long until he can't anymore
27. Their guilty pleasure
Liking when Wille is acting all crown prince-like and like he's got the full authority and power. That maybe he shouldn't and yes he has all kinds of problems with Wille's position and privilege but he can't help but also find it a little hot sometimes 🤭 (i mean, he didn't oppose to Wille pointing the gun at August and telling him to go on his knees 👀)
30. Sleeping habits
I'm not sure if we know but he seems to me like a restless, light sleeper like limbs flailing around, constantly switching sides and hard to calm down, his mind still on overdrive, thinking about everything and brooding. I can imagine him liking to have something soft close he can grab and cuddle (like the teddy bear we saw on his bed in s2 or Wille's sweater under his pillow 👀). He curls himself up when he feels safe but he has also trained himself to sleep somewhere uncomfortable and not care too much about comfort like when he was sleeping upside in Wille's bed, or maybe crashing at Rosh's or Ayub's, sleeping in a hospital chair (idk what for but i can see it), just being quick to wake up and on alert for anything that could happen
#ask#saynomorefic#simon#16 is haunting me i need to think more about it maybe i can come up with something else#but thanks this was still fun! i like getting into simon's head

Not on the list: Something they can never let go and why?
Feel free to pick / leave out any and happy birthday to both of you!! ♡
9. How do they speak? Examples - Are they soft-spoken, hot-heated, vulgar
very properly!
10. Do they lie often? Are they good at it?
Oh, they can be very good at it, but they do not wish to lie. Tell half true, yes, or dodging a question, perhaps. But telling lies will always stab you in the back sooner or later
11. What kind of first impression do they usually make?
charming mysterious stranger uwu
20. Do they collect anything?
blood :DD
27. Do they have a disability?
They have much worse sight when they are in daylight. Very sensitive to light which results sometimes in blindness even
38. Can they dance? Do they like to?
They can dance different types of dances and is surely fun for them!
(This art was for one scene that happened in dnd :DD)
44. Would they ever kill anybody?
Oh they killed so much, this child not pure
47. Do they have anyone they can lean on?
Their tatay or let's say friend who was thought to be a ghost until now (it is an echo of the real person) plays a big role in Nielh's life + their family on his side + Right now they feel they can lean on Virghil a lot (@teryster oc)
50. Are they more book-smart or street-smart?
answered here!
52. Do they use their body, mind, personality or force to get what they want?
yes :D (not gonna answer too much on it for a reasons wink wink)
54. How do they change throughout the story?
Deep question let's go! At first glance, I would say Nielh had not changed much. There is still the spark of desire for knowledge and the sometimes too childish innocence behind their eyes. However, the person who was in self-pity and sorrow stands up to the light now much more bravely than before. They still have not grown to the person who can decide for themself yet, but they are more… steady. Visible to others and reaching for their guide and help. :)
+ Something they can never let go and why?
ohh uff alright! Hard very hard, because Nielh is, well, a person pleaser. And they do not wanna be in wrong in that person’s eyes which is a reason I think Nielh truly cannot hold a grudge against someone. But right now what can pop into my head is that they would have a hard time letting go would be: if they tell someone something very intimate and secret only for that person to use it. More if they truly trust that person and they opened to them.
thank you so much for the wait, all of these questions were so good aaaaa!!! Crying literally TTATT
#nielh answer#nielh neverrland#dragon age#dnd#oc#ask#thank you so much for so many questions aa TTATT it warm me in my heart aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Big King is watching you, huh? ^^'
You are telling me those names are pure incidents? Totally no Square Enix mockery, right? It just so happens that we have a Honeybee Inn and a guy named Loveless, right? Sure...
T-Twenty? I have yet to get under 100. And I tried so hard...
They are related? Who would have thought? They look nothing alike at all.
I played too many Trails-Games. I feel awful for what has already happened to her and now, because she helped us, she is going to be publicly executed? We should just have gone after that stupid human-sandworm that pooped us out the other day...
We are in the top 50 now... but what a price to pay...
Is she... dragging him away from us for some reason?
Uh... uhm... uh... yeah... well... uh... okay... I guess?
Stunted growth maybe? ^^'
Yesterday I google endings and it looked like there wasn't much I could do wrong aside from 3 questions that could lead to bad ending if I do answer the wrong way. Either this is one of those answers OR they made it sound like as lot less work than it actually is because I right now standing before those brothers having to give an answer and I have NO idea what the right one would be. Because I need it to be something that impresses the mad man himself... but... I'd help anyone in need and I'd treat all tribes equally doesn't quite do the trick here. HOWEVER... saying I don't want to be King might not be a lie but maybe Luise might think we are worthless if we have no aspiration whatsoever?
I've already faced one of those questions without realising it but somehow gave the right answer... *sweats* thank god.
It seems like what I answer decides if Luise becomes my constant enemy or for now.... considers me less of a threat and more of an ally. Fascinating.
Apparently, we can be somewhat honest and tell them we treat all tribes equally... because Luise said he would do the same. But I mean... would he really? I mean... he killed the King for his "ideals" after all.
Strohl! I am trying to avoid bad ending here, do not ruin this for me with your big mouth!
I think we just say we are in love with Junah... seems to be the savest answer XD Jokes aside... I wonder if we should say we do not like Forden and his church, because that too wouldn't be a lie.
Jep, thats the answer...
Uff...
I guess we made it on Louises good side for now XD The internet said Louise has 7 questions for you, the ones from those two apparently don't count tho (I would have loved to see the reaction to "I am in love Junah" tho XD) which means I have 6 left and the last one could bring me a full on bad ending. (There also seem to be a More- and a Prince-Bad ending if this is a Spoiler for the princes survival or not remains to be seen. I mean, he might as well be too weak by the time we lift his curse and asks us something with his dying breath and if we answer wrong we... I don't know... get the curse instead of him or something? Or maybe we do not wake him at all and the question is not from but about the prince? We will see eventually...)
For now... we live.
I guess it would also be much easier to find an excuse for her "accidentally" ending up in Luises quarters XD

Chapter 3.1↩
Chapter 3.2:
Wasn't it frightening?
Oh, telling his parents directly what he had done certainly had unexpected effects, but wasn't being at home also a really important point?
Now he had the perfect opportunity to grow those businesses and innovate some of the ones the Encinereb family already had!
So, locking himself in his room with the excuse of reflecting, he let his imagination run wild.
Would it be good for him to start sponsorship too? What would the public say if he did? Maybe he should strengthen his very muddy reputation? Perhaps if he moved certain gears in the Duchy structure and business, that would score him positive points? What about the surrounding lands? In the documents he had read that at least some of it belonged to him, were they bearing good fruit? Or was the Villain just collecting tribute?
Ah, there was so much to do and so little time.
So, placing paper and ink on his desk, he began to plan.
Would it be all right if he mixed the memories of the Villain and the workings of that world with the world he came from? Would it be strange to do a SWOT at that time? Maybe he would use a very rustic Excel, would anyone question him or tell him he was a genius? Uff, the pressure to think and surpass is hard.
But, thanks to his innate talent for business and his so-called ‘midas touch’, when he thought he still had more days of punishment ahead of him, his mother came to his room. And contrary to what he thought would be a lecture, Aren supported him.
So lovingly, that, for a moment, he envied from the bottom of his heart the one reflected in the mirror.
How could you? he questioned, although that question was not really for him, Astral Mertencia, but, rather, for Astral Encinereb, the villain of this story.
***
So, almost immediately after receiving his mother's approval and his father's support to leave, he immediately asked to explore the territory.
Why would he do that? You may ask.
In the novel, it was heavily emphasised that trade within the Encinereb lands was strong; so strong that it was a paradise for those just starting out in life as traders, so Astral was very curious as to how they handled such things here.
So embarking on a new adventure away from the bosom of his family and the constant vigil of his parents, he began to inquire with every man and woman who came across him boasting about his good business, and pleasantly learned a thing or two.
Firstly, and as he had already experienced. The monetary system was made up of coins that varied in value depending on the material they were made of: The first, a copper coin, was the most common and most traded. It was durable and certainly excellent for short journeys. It was most commonly owned by commoners these days, so it was a strong and stable coin.
Next was a silver coin. Its presence was less, and it was worth the same as fifteen copper coins. It was well used when trades involved large goods or large profits. Its circulation was less, but it was still quite common. It was backed by the highest commoners, and the occasional Lord or Baron.
Thus, the third coin, as Astral expected, was the gold coin. Its value could well compare with fifteen silver coins and fifty copper coins. It was the one most rarely used in a humble trade and the one most prevalent in the world of the nobles. Whoever had at least fifteen gold coins on him could already be considered to be on noble ground. However, its high value was also a problem when trading, not everyone could come close to its value, so businesses that had this system were exclusive to the elite. And that certainly wasn't good when it came to profits.
Astral felt he had a big world ahead of him, but a lousy handling of the local economy. So, noting that it was the first thing he would do, he set out to go to the one who was considered the leader of those small first lands.
If he offered him something of real value, wouldn't the man be eating out of his hand? This was supposed to be the way it was supposed to be, but, expecting anything, he mentally prepared himself for what was to follow.
—Hey! Open up! Open up, I said! Are you deaf? Hey! —
Though perhaps no one had prepared him for what he was about to experience.
—Uh? What's going on? — Astral questioned in a low tone, and holding tightly to the hood that diligently covered him, he looked to one of his sides, where one of his guards was guarding him.
—I don't know, my Young Lord, but, if I may. I can look into it. —
Astral didn't think long before granting permission, so hoping to find out what was going on, the lightly armoured, purple-haired man made his way to the door of the home that was being knocked on, and not long after, Astral was able to get a more complete picture.
It turned out that the leader of the village had apparently borrowed money from one of the most fraudulent moneylenders in the place, and so it was time to pay up.
For Astral this was quite normal, considering the novel world, however, seeing the petty glare of the man who stood fearlessly in front of him, something inside him stirred with unease. So, deciding to wait and see what would happen, he decided to wait for the leader to arrive....
Which didn't take long.
For in the distance he could see a poor old man carrying a heavy basket.
Is that the leader? Astral wanted to ask, but the man with a mean look advanced first, and approaching with hostile reason, quickly kicked the old man who soon fell to the ground while shouting hundreds of words at him.
—There you are! I said I'd come for you, you stupid old man! Are you planning to renege on the agreement? Huh? Answer me! —
A kick landed in the poor old man's stomach, and spitting blood he could barely reply painfully.
—It's not that... —
—What did you say? I didn't hear you! —The other one scoffed, and kicking the old man once more, he looked around, only to realise something. —Hey, where did you leave your son? The one who's been following you around since he was a kid. Did you hide him? Ey! —
Ah, it was certainly painful to watch, so, stepping in, Astral ordered his men to capture the scum.
—What the...? Ey, I didn't mess with the Great Lords, nor did I disrespect them. What the hell are you arresting me for? Ey! Stop... Let me go! Don't you know who I am?! —
The man tried to free himself, kicking and cursing in the air, but once Astral uncovered his head the man was shocked. And feeling that he had made the worst mistake of his life, he quickly changed his attitude to a more submissive one.
—N-No... S-Sorry. S-Sorry. I-I didn't know the Young Lord was here.... No. I, I'm sorry. I'm sorry! —
And although Astral had just begun his journey, for a moment he felt terribly tired. So regardless of the fact that he was committing murder in front of several witnesses, in one move he got rid of the noisy man who was causing him nothing but a severe headache.
Ah, Astral had never killed like that before. With such cruelty and without warning, however, something inside him made him react as if he was already used to it. So wiping the blood that splattered on his face, he gave orders to his guards.
—Collect the corpse. Bury him in a compost plot, and investigate whether he has henchmen. If he has them, apply the same punishment for daring to intimidate the people. —
—Yes! —
Was the response of his men, who looked accustomed, so watching them leave and leaving only one of them for safety, he turned to look at the old man who was trying to stand up, with lacerated hands and bleeding knees.
Oh, wasn't this a sad scene? He wished he could help, but what he got once the old man was on his feet was little more than a thank you.
—W-Why does the Young Lord hardly appear? I sent him letters a long, long time ago asking for his help! But it seems we are just his entertainment. Why didn't he come when I begged him? Why did he let those guys take over this land? Where I grew up and lived all my life, why did you let this happen? —
—I... —
Well, now Astral was uncomfortable. Since when had the Villain ignored all these problems? He'd come up with a business plan, but now, noticing the older man's anger and tears, he needed to go another way.
—Sorry it took so long. —
—Repent! Repent until your insides are in dust! Until the sky falls down, repent! Because today many people, innocent people like my son had to flee to avoid the same fate. Thanks to you I have lost, so repent! Repent so much, that when you close your eyes, you can only remember the pain of all your people. –
They were heavy words, full of resentment, but unfortunately for the old man, Astral would not be intimidated by them. So, sharpening his gaze, and gently lifting the corner of his mouth, he mentioned.
—A plebeian thinks he has the strength to curse me? You're a brave man, aren't you? I came with the intention of dignified treatment, but as I see it. The lord is pretentious. —
—You...! —
—Don't forget your place; it's you who must wait till I turn my eyes upon you. And if you start blaspheming against me again, I assure you, your offspring is the one who will pay the consequences. —
The poor old man wept once more, wasn't the world unfair? He had waited for this day for years, and now his saviour is a guy like the one who had just died? The elder's heart could hardly bear it, more noticing how Astral was staring at his sack, he quickly tried to cover it up. He wasn't going to give him the pleasure of stealing more than he barely had.
—Go away! You're not welcome in this place! Get out! —
Oh, but did you see that? An old man was trying to run the villain off his own land. Quite a spectacle, too bad Astral wasn't about to give in to any of his plans, so, crouching down to the elder's level, he spoke.
—What he hides under the cloth? Is it cotton? —
—H-Huh? How come...? —
Astral's eyes glittered with a predatory touch, as the old man could barely hold his gaze.
Oh, he had just had a splendid idea.

Boba Fett speaking to his bantha as he releases it to return to the wilds of Tatooine. Image from The Book of Boba Fett, Season 1, Episode 4, The Gathering Storm. Caption reads: Find other banthas. Make baby banthas - Boba Fett.
“I don’t know. The Build A Bantha Factory? Maybe you should ask the Daimyo?”
With that said, the Mandalorian fairly leapt out of chair he had been sitting in to polish his new vambrace and hurried out of the cabin like he had somewhere to be and only just remembered it.
Grogu just watched him and shook his head. They were on Nevarro. Daimyo Fett was on Tatooine. How could he ask such a busy, important person, so many parsecs away, where little banthas came from? His dad was right there and Grogu hadn’t thought the question was that hard to answer. Although, if the Mandalorian thought that little critters came from factories he might not understand enough about zoo-ology to answer any of his other questions either.
It wasn’t like Grogu had asked him to describe in detail how baby banthas were created. He knew about reproduction and biological processes. He’d studied all that at the Jedi temple. The Jedi had an absolute need to make sure their younglings, padawans, and knights understood basic aspects of reproduction.
They didn’t want to increase the number of Force sensitive people by accidentally starting some sort of ‘Make a Jedi’ program. They had to be blunt and frank in those discussions. People were people after all and relationships that had a result of a new person being added to the galaxy were mostly the definition of ‘attached’. So you had to have ‘the talk’. Easy, peasy.
What Grogu had actually wanted to know was literally where the little banthas were kept, because he never saw them with the big full grown banthas. Did the Sand People have a special place for them on Tatooine. Did they actually have to go off planet and find them on the bantha home world? Did they actually have to go to Camino and clone them? Now that had been a kind of factory environment as Grogu understood things, but he didn’t know what variety of critters the Caminoans made. If they could make humans, they could make banthas. Right?
The whole line of thought had started when he was going through his sketches from their last trip to Tatooine. Grogu liked to put a control number on each sketch and then enter data about it in his datapad, so he could keep track of what he had sketched as well as when and where he’d been.
He noticed that a lot of his Tatooine sketches depicted scenes that involved Bantha, but none of them showed the little ones. So that got him thinking. Maybe the Sand People didn't want a baby bantha making the long trek into the areas adjacent to Mos Eisley. What if they were afraid of the starships? Or the pirates and gamblers?
Grogu wouldn’t blame them if they kept the little ones away from Mos Eisley. If Peli Motto saw them she’d swoon because they were so cute, offer to feed them, and then sell them to buyers who hadn’t even realized that they wouldn’t fit in their ship’s cargo bay and then sell them an expansion kit for the ship, while paying the Jawas to return them to the Sand People because she knew better than to really steal their bantha, whadda ya think she is? A private?! Grogu could see her doing that right then and there. And hear her. Uff.
Then he thought about the Sand People they had met in Freetown, you know, formerly known as Mos Pelgo. No little ones there either. How did the Sand People protect them from critters like Krayt dragons? The dragons could travel underground, rear up through the planets crust and pounce on anything that seemed like food, which had included more than one full grown bantha. They were a formidable enemy and somehow they had to be kept away from the little ones. Did the Sand People know about some sort of plant or mineral that Krayt Dragons hated the smell of and did they use it just around the little bantha corral to protect them? Grogu wanted to know.
The cook at the Jedi Temple used to put all sorts of veggies and other smelly things around the kitchen, hoping to keep he and Ian out of the storerooms that contained the flash fried frogs and chicken nuggets. Grogu thought the chicken nuggets were okay, but really preferred the frogs. Ian of course just wanted the chicken nuggets and the hot sauce. Master Yoda was not amused when the two younglings managed to thwart the cook’s plan almost everyday. Grogu had gotten very good at lifting things with the Force because of that.
Grogu sighed and put the sketches and datapad away. He’d just have to wait until they went to Tatooine again and met up with some Sand People so he could ask them his question. He felt sure that they would understand and wouldn't just run away as if he wanted to discuss their reproductive biology with them.
The only question about reproduction that Grogu had ever had was ‘Are there more frogs and are they fried or fresh’.

Ouf okay, let's do this (Part 1)
I typically write in Times New Roman or Calibri, simply because I enjoy the style of the font. I tried using other fonts but my eyes rebel against anything else than the aforementioned two.
I started by writing everything by hand! Back in school when I was bored I got out my pad and started scribbling, or when I was travelling too. Back then I didn’t have a laptop yet which ended in massive folders filled with my stuff. Once I got a laptop and realized editing and writing in general is much much easier on it I switched immediately and never returned lmao.
It’s terrible, actually. I have that little oriel in my living room with old furniture and a lot of candles. I typically sit down in my comfy round rattan chair, light the candles, turn on my playlist and start writing. The curse, though, is that I need absolute solitude. It’s hard for me when someone else is in the room or when there is another source of light/noise. This is making it really hard for me to write because I’m living with my partner and he usually spends his time in the living room.
Unecessarily. Uneccesariy. Unnecessarily. Gods, I always forget how to write it.
Idk if it’s superstition but you write better the more you travel. Going out, meeting people, seeing other places; It all gives you motivation and inspiration. Which is why I always take my laptop with me, no matter where I go.
Never getting to finish my novels. My original motivation came with an original idea I started writing years back, but playing FFXIV, falling in love with Zenos and starting “Like Fire and Ice” cut inbetween my original novels. I’m currently trying my best to “finish” “Like Fire and Ice” (although I have a lot more planned still) so I can start writing what I had originally planned.
Realizing that I’ve done that. It was me who wrote all of these words. All of these pages. And there are actually people out there who read it. Honestly, every comment I get on my stories makes me giggle like a little kid.
I’d probably choose to leave out the dialogue. You don’t have to let your characters speak to tell an interesting story, but without at least a little bit of action it would get too boring for me and possibly the reader. It would probably be something dark and mysterious, perhaps something about a cryptid.
Yepp. A 100% . Had my own experiences and have been working with the paranormal/occult for some years now. Also, I love Ghost Adventures and Sam&Colby.
Haunt me? No. If I found something disturbing or just straight up “bad” I cross it from my mind.
Hmn, not really. I do “love” to kill of characters, but only for character or plot development. My deaths are usually calculated. I may miss the characters but I do not grieve them for I know they achieved what they needed to.
Easy! Better concentration, more time to write and a better memory. Those are the three things always ruining my flow.
Hmn, good question. I don’t have a problem with any kind of topic thinking about. I usually make sure to do my research before writing about more sensitive stuff but it never bothers me. I don’t enjoy writing slice of life type settings though.
I do! And honesty, I don’t actually care if I get them back or not. I do have a handful of books I cherish and I wouldn’t hand out because I use them for inspiration or research, the rest on the other hand mostly just exists? I’ve read them, of course. But I rarely read books multiple times. I rather give them away to people who’ll enjoy the story and know I made someone else happy in doing so.
Never in my life would I butcher a book like this, heavens. It hurts me to see mistreated books, be it dog-ears or similar. Even worse are books whose pages have started to curl from moisture, which is why I would never read in the bathtub. We can still be friends, though know you leave a cut in the deepest parts of my soul.
You ask the guy with a sifter for a brain. Uff good question, I think it was a keychain? I honestly can’t remember.
*nervous laughter* Honey, you don’t want to open this box. To make a long story short, it’s more or less an enemies to allies to lovers with three different timelines. In these timelines I explore the different routes the relationship between my hero and my antagonist can take and the various outside influences that drive them to make certain decisions. It’s a fun way to bring light to different aspects to their characters and to show how the way people treat you can change your point of view and, ultimately, your decisions.
“Like Fire and Ice” – Accursed Bonds – Part Ten “I'm so tired.” “Then rest.” A quick noise of complaint comes from somewhere next to me but I don't have the strength to see who made it. All that's left for me to do is take a breath in as Zenos' arm gently lays over my back once the healing touch has faded. I expect it to hurt, but it seems like I've gotten too numb to feel a thing. And still the Garlean makes sure to move as carefully as possible as he slips his other arm underneath my thighs and lifts me up. “You are safe now, hero.” His strong arms cradling me, holding me close to his chest, I feel my heart explode. It's a warmth I haven't felt in years, a light I thought had left my world. Sighing quietly I open my eyes, leaning my weak head against his chest as I look out to the vastness of the Steppe, my eyes threatening to fall shut. It's sunrise. This was one of the scenes I had been looking forward to for ages. In it our hero is rescued by his friends together with the help of their enemy after having been abducted by a mysterious group currently terrorizing their allies. I actually got the idea from one of these “prompt-videos” on tiktok in which the beaten up hero stands in front of their enemy who asks them “Who did this to you?”. I loved this idea so much I somehow had to implement it into my story, but I at that point I was already too far into my storyline to add it. So I sat down and thought how to turn and twist it to make it fit. My first idea was to separate the two in one way or another, forcing my hero to face a different enemy on their own. Unable to come up with a good idea I chose to just keep on writing and so I did until I was presented with the perfect moment to implement it. At this point of the story my hero and his enemy had already begun to (although out of necessity) work together and had to spend a good amount of time travelling alone. Finally being fully confronted with the other they managed to find some sort of way to get along and actually started to bond a little. Still, my hero clung to the trauma and the pain his enemy had inflicted on him and thousands of others and pushed him away, forcibly building a wall between the two. His abduction, though, made him realize just how comfortable he had grown with his enemy. Even though part of him still hated that madman he couldn’t deny that there was something pulling him towards his enemy. During the days spent with his captors he was subject to torture and wilful neglect which in the end almost cost him his life. When his enemy finally had found him he snapped and ruthlessly killed the man that had tortured my hero, the rest of his friends and the other captors staring in horror at the scene. I wanted to show my characters and my readers just to what lengths his enemy would go to save my hero and also to open my hero’s eyes and admit his true feelings.

1, 20, 40 for the fun questions one:))
Hey hey, thank you!!!
1. what are 3 things you’d say shaped you into who you are?
Uff, that's a hard one, I don't remember much and I don't think all of them are positive, but oh well. I'm not really gonna get into how they shaped me.
Growing up being treaded as kinda my sisters understudy instead of my own person by many people including relatives and teachers.
The book series 'The Song of the Lioness' by Tamora Pierce
Doing Musical theatre in school
20. favourite things about the night?
The most obvious being that it's dark and I can see the stars. Watching the night sky is definitely a favourite about the night.
But generally the quiet of it all. I have a lot of sensory issues, so it just being dark and quiet is very nice for sure. Also you can turn on all the fairy lights and noone want's something from you. All very nice things
40. any bad habits?
Procrastination for sure and taking forever getting up in the morning. I am sure there are others, but I can't really think of them now 😅
