Fun little scrap to open the card at lightweight. White stops a two fight skid and improves to 4-5 in the UFC. Bounced back after losing the first round and getting cut open.

Anthony Rocco Martin takes UD over Sergio Moraes

Smart fight from Martin. Kept kicking Moraes’ lead leg, stunting his explosive offense. Did a great job of not getting complacent while moving backwards. When Moraes would initiate his attack, Martin would circle to the weak side and regain the center of the cage. And then he’d immediately hop back on the attack. Confused as to why Moraes waited til the end of the 2nd and 3rd rounds to shoot but I guess Moraes has never really been a grapple first fighter despite the pedigree.

Niko Price KOs Tim Means right at the end of the 1st round!

Holy crap. Price hurt Means early but Means recovered, securing the TD  and landing GnP from top. When they got back on the feet, it was all Means. Great short combinations on the inside while punctuating them with front kicks. Started landing nice short powerful hooks towards the end of the round. Bloodied Price up and backed him into the cage. But Price can still bomb and landed a right hook that instantly sent Means out.

Huge win for Price. Biggest of his career thus far.

Beniel Dariush survives a scare, submits Drew Dober.

Crazy to see how much Dober has gotten better since coming to the UFC. Had Dariush hurt badly a couple times in the first. Dariush battles back to get the armbar in the 2nd.

Taking JDS by 3rd round TKO. JDS just has the tools to not fuck up like Volkov and Brown did. Expecting it to look like the Rothwell or Ivanov fight but with Lewis in more pain.

Yana Kunitskaya takes a UD over Marion Reneau

Not without some lumps. Kunitskaya befuddled Reneau at range and was able to push her around in the clinch. Had Reneau second guessing trying to close distance to throw in the pocket. Reneau came out in the 3rd though and just let her hands go. Started throwing the overhand-hook combo and probably broke Kunitskaya’s nose in the process. Had her wearing the crimson mask. Too little too late though as the judges gave Kunitskaya the fight 2-1.
