It's not even noon and this is already a long day. Had to come in to town for 9:30 so kid could do bank stuff then go to work for 10. Car has appointment at 1 to get Uconnect screen replaced. That will take about an hour or more. Then pick kid up at 4:30. I live 20ish min one way from town. Pointless to drive home for an hour just to turn around and come back (plus cost of gas 😖).

So here I am just parked in a random spot until it's time for car appointment. Then do the same after car appointment. I can't even window shop to kill the time because all we have is Walmart, and when I have to go there I try to get out ASAP (habit of being a former employee).

Introducing New 2025 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Pickup Trucks

The 2025 Ram 2500 is expected to feature new front-end styling with a redesigned grille, significant interior updates, an eight-speed automatic transmission to replace the current six-speed, a higher output 6.7L Cummins diesel, and increased towing capacity. The truck has a robust and refined design, with minor tweaks to the exterior and state-of-the-art lighting. Under the hood, it promises powerful performance.

The design is something that Ram fans have really been waiting for. It didn't happen in 2019. It didn't happen in 2023 (as some had predicted). And now here we are, speeding towards the 2025 model year. This time, we think it's for sure. Ram will adorn its '25 model with new front end styling: new headlights, a completely new grille, new bumpers (front and rear) and we wouldn't be surprised to find taillights that mirror the redesigned units on the new 1500 model truck.

Finally home from errands. The longest was taking my Jeep in to figure out why my Uconnect screen was having epileptic seizures (lots of flashing lines, won't share video I took as proof because of rapid flashing trigger).

Turns out the screen is delaminating. Yay. Luckily hubby and I were being smart adults when we bought the Jeep and got the extended warranty for the life of our loan.

Just means i can maybe listen to my music for about 15-20 min during my drives until the new screen arrives. To most people that's plenty. I am a 20 min drive in any given direction to the nearest anything, and an hour to work one way. I need my radio.
