I don't follow uckurus but a lot of my twitter mutuals do. However, I did find it pretty awful that they didn't post about Nesrins farewell on social media. My mutuals were discussing how the social media said goodbye to the villain that died but not to the main lead? How unprofessional is that though!! Even Damla Sonmez got a goodbye from the Aziz admin.

Exactly!!! And this is not a recent problem, this has been happening since before the show aired. Everyone presumed it was bc her character was only introduced in the second episode, hence the lack of promo of Bahar and BahKar, but as the episodes went on … it got worse.

To the point of the other actors on the show liking shady tweets about Nesrin + BahKar being excluded and how wrong that is. Even uraz (Kartal and the main guy) began only sharing trailers which included nesrin and stopped interacting with most that didn’t.

Also, Nesrin, Bahar and BahKar were excluded from a lot of episode photos. To promote their characters relationship, both Uraz and Nesrin used memes. Plus, Nesrin continuously had to make photo collages of Kartal and Bahar since there was rarely a couple photo.

Moreover, bts scenes of BahKar/nesrin were never shared. Fans asked the photographer why this is? Only for him to like a shady post saying basically that nesrin is a nasty person and she doesn’t want to take photos. When asked about why he doesn’t take pictures of Bahar, he said that it’s basically bc nesrin can’t act and it wouldn’t reflect well in his photographs. Yet? He is the same person who will take pictures of certain actors and actresses from the same scene at multiple angles - to the point of sharing 6 + of these images.

Anyway, it got to a point where Uraz was also pissed with the whole situation, and had this interview with tolga (the photographer) on stories, where he asked … wtf is your problem with Bahar and BahKar lmao 😭 and the man was shooketh. He basically didn’t have a proper response. Uraz then went and took a selfie with nesrin and tagged the photographer saying “do your job”.

After this tweet the man was shook 💀 and went and posted his first picture of nesrin as Bahar on his IG (this was months into the show and I think this was the first post of hers). Also, he began reposting nesrins personal IG stories on his stories and commenting on them. Like she posted a meme of uraz head on a baby and her carrying the baby and he was like LOL 💀

Also; that whole thing about nesrin being a nasty person and not wanting to take bts was debunked when the camera crew began sharing bts of her + the actors on the show (Asli, ekin, ugur, Asena, uraz and the actor who plays the gran) began sharing bts with nesrin.

A few months after this saga, they ended up sharing a really cute bts from the earlier episodes?? Like make it make sense? This photographer drama happened episode 17, but the bts was from like episode one 11??

Fans were super upset, but nesrin posted tolga (the photographer) on her story saying they sorted out the drama. Anyway, we got BahKar and Bahar pics for a few episodes following this.

However, in the last month - nesrin has been completely excluded from promo. She never had a prominent role in the trailers - but when she has an episode focused on her - they decided not to promote it. I’m talking 1 trailer (for the first time in the history of the show) which was a purely romantic focused and a repetition of previous trailers, despite the episode being diff. She was excluded from the photos again (despite her being there when multiple photos were taken of the scene) and nothing of hers was shared on social media. Also, they did have pics of her and chose not to share them:

So to promote the episode she began sharing fan memes like this (given that she had no other means to promote the episode):

Even in her death episode she got literally no promo. Don’t even get me started on their exclusion on YouTube and the fact that her scenes are posted weeks later.

Also we can say that nesrin doesn’t get promoted bc Bahar doesn’t add anything to the ep. WRONG! Her character was always influential + even when other characters didn’t have important scenes, they were always promoted.

And it’s just so ???? Bc nesrin is one of the cast that interacts the most with the UK social media account. I’m talking both in terms of likes and comments.

I do think there was drama between the ph and network regarding her, bc the network went out of their way to include her in the promo (other than trailer but to be fair other than the past 3 eps she didn’t have a prominent role). Also the network would post their scenes on YouTube and she got a farewell post from them - the only one on the show who got one from them.

I’m just gonna conclude by saying that nesrin is not the only victim of this. They did the same to diren (aka the main guy who played ferhan) - but at least he got his farewell post. Also, I’m a necip fan, but when he joined the show they really flung uraz to the side till recently 🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s evident that they have their faves and that’s not gonna change.
