Last Film: This is Where I Leave You. My spouse really wanted to watch a movie and it sounded decent. It was actually pretty good.

Currently Reading (or last read): I currently have a list of about 20 unfinished fics I'm reading right now, lol. There are several that I think were abandoned, though.

As for books, I just started When Katie Met Cassidy the other day and just finished They Hate Each Other, which was super cute

Currently Watching: Love (Netflix), Sister Wives, The Wilds, various YouTubers (my spouse is really into a lot of interior design/DIY channels and I have my various commentary folks I like to watch). And I'm always watching a little bit of Heartstopper here and there because I can't get enough of Nick and Charlie.

Current Obsession: My Nick Nelson in the rain cross stitch. It's finally starting to look like something besides a sea of 415 with random splotches, so I'm very motivated to keep going.

I'm normally more of a knitter, but I just haven't been into it much lately except during my 2 virtual knit groups.

Anyway, I need to find a new dizi asap. And one thats not AY produced. They have treated multiple actresses on their shows (particularly Nesrin Cavadzade from Uc Kurus, and Beril Pozam from BABA) horribly?? And for what lmao?? They started off as the main female leads and were slowly pushed out. A WHOLE MESS.  I know we should not compare experiences. However, Nesrin had it bad ... but damn what they did to beril was even worse?! At least Nesrin’s character came out of this show being somewhat iconic and heroic... she basically played the mafia single handedly, saved her husband and son, mended kartal and sahin’s relationship, and broke the relationship between kilic and baybars, which weakened Baybars and lead to Kartal + Ferhan getting their revenge.  Beril’s character was just written out without her knowledge (i think?). One day you’re there and the next you’re seeing you’re replaced on social media?? CRUEL

Can someone please tell me what the writers get out of constantly reminding Bahar that she doesn’t belong?

It’s not even driving the plot or her own character arc at any point so it’s really just looking like a way to kick a female character for no reason.
