Keep dropping stuff made before on the Tumblr.
Here be some-o-text
There is another AU revolving around Hoaxe. An obvious one, of course, but let a creature have some fun, eh? Spoilers.
Attention grabber, other pics below
You lot either have read "Hoaxe: Origins" or at least know Wasp King's story, and if you don't - here is a short story short, Mimic Fly boyo got abandoned by parents into charming and delightful place called "Dead Lands" and survived there a good chunk of his life, to later be found injured by wasps, then took to their Kingdom. Life ain't got better in the slightest - bullying, physical violence, dismissal and eating from dumsters - all that influenced already unstable mind. Dude ran off to Metal Island, spent savings on the Crown (which conveniently was an old artifact that controlled wasps' minds and amplified magic (he was a fire sorcerer)), got back, took over, and from there you know the story from the game. Or not, if you didn't finished the game yet. Wait, what are you doing here?
Now, this one creature be like "you seriously expect anyone to believe there were NO ONE to treat him normally?", because, you know, people are different, yet in comic it seemed like all wasps are generally are same. One would expected at least some wasps to show pity - no, there wasn't anyone, at least in comic itself. Not only pity - some of them must have been aware that lad has survived literally the deadliest place around as a kid - and that means something, aye?
Plus, hey, he sports some damn good determination, given what he has achieved in game; AND PLUS, he is able to use FIRE MAGIC, like come on, if this is isn't a perfect candidate to bolster your ranks, you are really bad at your job.
Now, there comes the AU, where some high-rank armywasp noted the promising candidate, and trained the boy - first secretly, then out open. Pushing the training to the limits builds up a strong bug - not very sociable (young years alone + being looking down on), very cunning, stealthy, with knowledge of Dead Lands, dude becomes something akin to Royal Blade, but secret agent.
And this one have's a sketch and a few "fake screenshots" on that.
All made somewhere in spring of this year.
That strips the game of the main villian, of course, but we can do a grand great evil in the face of Deadlanders, who act like Dragon Age Origins' Blight or Mass Effect's Reapers - a swarm of danger against which everyone must unite. And it's an AU-in-making, so far consistency of the story may be... well, inconsistent. And with a lotta plotholes.
Is that even a proper use of word "lotta"?

- Seeing daughter
- She's looking like your wife
- She says "you look a lot like father when I was a kid"
- *pic*
Another moderate-effort redraw. Also might have been seen by you on discord and reddit. Made somewhere in April 2024.
Funny, changed five different drawing programs throughout a year. Maybe it is a reason of the "find the style" struggle.

Bunch of Bug Fables OC scribbles.
Made on different dates around the year and tried different styles, brushes and programs' built-in tools, hence the differences in styles. All OCs - don't like to put it like that - belong to me.
Left to right, up to down: Helor, Eulema, Neetze, Aron, Knit
They all probably destined to be redesigned. A few hundred times. Because art skills are in their embryo stage and only yet to be grown in something decent.

Mothryn Leif. Explanations below.
So. There is a Tabletop RPG named "Wildsea". In there is a specific bloodline called "Mothryn"
And there is a special "Post" aka "Profession", with core theme of using elements - canonically, Storm, but there are alternative representations like frost.
Reminds you of someone?
Below the "Read More" is a spolier for Leif's request.
Also, in the "Storm and Root" DLC, there is a specific character origins "Heartskavo" - and they are about fungus symbiosis/parasitism.
Reminds you of something, eh?

More Bug Fables OC scribbles. You may notice a huge gap in styles. Still seeking for own art style.
Those are Helor and Eulema. A male potter wasp and a bee... """princess""", one may say.
No, those two have no romance between. This is just affectionate friendship.
On the last picture - their actual size difference which is usually being forgotten because of their second incarnation, where size are more or less the same.

For Stalker fans - please move forward and ignore that, lest you want some cringe overdose.
For Bug Fables fans: undeniable plus of being a novice artist is the possibility of doing absolute nonsense which cannot be stopped. So here is Marked One Hoaxe, a Stalker/Bug Fables crossover, which had born as a Discord joke. Crack forever.

All of the sudden, actual art with actual efforts.
This is "Waltz", character for tabletop RPG on the "The Wildsea" system. Pre-apocalypse mothryn, squeaky, skittish and sometimes smug performer. If you think he's a bit too colorful - yes. Yes he is.
More info under the pic.
Also, since he is an "amberclad" (one of the possible origins in the game), some of his bodyparts tend to spontaneously rip off, fly somewhere around and then return back on place. Those places marked by orange cracks.
He loves to be in a center of everyone attention, but since elegant costumes and masterful grime from specialists is no longer a thing in the world after the end, he does his best by collecting any bright piece of cloth, sparkly metal thingies and by pouring any liquid that can add color to his fur. It certainly draws attention. Plus, Mothryns as a bloodline generally like to paint and dress themselves.
Yes, the latter was kind of inspired by Monsoon.
Also, there is an Among Us crewmate hidden on the picture.

Mothryn are so cool, I love their flavour. They'd be my first choice if I wasn't such a whore for the Ironbound and Tzelicrae
