My favorite of all time is LayloQasim. She’s taught me how to do my base perfectly and I’ve learned how to underpaint, carve my eyebrows, and blend it all out. She does wear heavy makeup but she is one of the BEST out there if you want to explore true artistry.

My skincare routine has improved due to Fatimasskin and SkinandBase. I got into medical grade skincare, learned my skin texture, got rid of the acne scars and hyperpigmentation, and repaired my skin’s barrier.

I follow Tattiananeveahsylva for soft makeup. I’ve been learning how to do soft full coverage makeup and she has a few good tutorials tutorials, we have a similar skin color, and it’s easy to follow the looks she does.

When I want to watch makeup and hair content, I look for Shaiannj’s content. She has amazing makeup and wig styling tutorials, her product recommendations never miss, she’s a similar color to me and uses so many techniques, and she’s an easy to follow MUA.

Everyone knows them by now but if you don’t, Mikai and UchJn define the UK Black Girl Makeup Aesthetic. They have amazing tutorials, in depth product lists, and have lovely voices. They’re sirens, I’d recommend following them if you want to learn more about looks.

I follow literally 7,000 different MUAs and hairstylists and that’s how I got so good at makeup and hair. I don’t follow women who only do one look, I make an effort to look for women who look like me, and I take all the tips and tricks I’ve learned and use them every day.
