I wonder when, exactly, does Lucanis tell Wenalen he can't do it, can't be First Talon. Maybe when Caterina is starting to go, with her age? When he actually starts to feel the full weight of that title? He never wanted it.

He tells Wenalen, but what does Wenalen have to say to convince him he can choose himself again?

Does he tell Illario? Viago and Teia? Caterina? And if he doesn't say anything, will they resent Lucanis for abandoning them to the mess that will come?

Or do they just gather what they can take, and walk away from Antiva? Maybe to Wycome first, to Wenalen's Clan and family? Or Minrathous, to the Shadow Dragons and Neve?

Arman Pell-Ruadh and Eliyanora Ucello, the Sorcerer-Consuls of the Seberegn.

The Seberegn - a small city-state among the westernmost forests and cliffs of Albatwi - is home to the region's iconic magic-workers, the Half-Mages, or Demiago. Unlike many other magic-workers from across Albatwi, the Demiago believe that magic is best performed in pairs of two, and this half-and-half mentality governs much of the Seberegn's political and social structure, despite the state having a (slight) majority non-magical populace. Though the Seberegn was for centuries a Republican nation, with its paired consuls elected once every eight years, and its monarchy remaining as a purely cutural , Pell-Ruadh and Princess Eliyanora are a unique exception to past precedent.

After recent shifts in legislation, Pell-Ruadh and the Princess won a landslide vote as the first consulate pair to contain a member of the royal family - and the heir to the vestigial throne no less. Though a vocal minority protested the monumental election, it was not to disparage Princess Eliyanora's right to rule, but rather that of her mage-partner and husband, Arman Pell-Ruadh. Despite graduating from the Seberegn University of Sorcery, and his change in citizenship following his marriage to the Princess, many felt that Pell-Ruadh could not be considered a legitimate citizen of the Seberegn, and was thus not qualified to lead.

Now, however, as Pell-Ruadh and the Princess take the reigns for their second consecutive term, new whispers are beginning to spread throughout the winding streets of the Seberegn: Will this become a new era of villainous, undemocratic diarchy? Will their daughter, the Grey Princess, become consul? And, of more immediate concern, will the pair's rumored marital issues affect their ability to cast together? After all, the Sorcerer-Consuls are responsible not only for political leadership of the Seberegn, but also magical leadership, and thus the upkeep of much of the city's ensorcelled architecture. A split in the consulate could result in very literal physical destruction, particularly in the wealthier University districts of the Seberegn.

It's not clear now what will come of Pell-Ruadh and Princess Eliyanora's rule, but it is certain that whatever nation emerges on the other end will be greatly changed.

I wanted to include also this when I did my last post of HOTU- details of the composition- but I forgot🤷‍♀️so here they are now .

The caryatids...are - in my head - " the woman with the perfect breast" - because in ASOIAF trees = stone= statues so when I started thinking about that great hall..the stained glass...the arches..I thought..well trees can make great columns and arches....and people who are locked in those trees ( columns ) like the warlocks, or green seers, or the statues in Winterfell Crypts...or like Bloodraven ...they become some kind of caryatids ...at list in my head...and also if you take the leafs away from a tree..they look like a stained glass lead structure...

Also I've included the drawings( details) of the wizards groups for which I've used references from Joos Van Cleve,Paolo Ucello,Botticelli,Piero della Francesca,Benozo Gozzoli

Could you tell me about her fears? Her desires? What she wants out of life? Give me some rando facts about her!

WAAHHHHH my gurl thank you!!!

So for Lumi's fears? She's already lived thru so many horrors that she keeps to herself for a long time when she starts working for Shinra. She WANTS to make Shinra pay, but has nowhere to start and no allies, so she just works and earns money and lives... she does become afraid of becoming complacent and reliant on Shinra. They took her original home from her, and she WILL see the company burn.

She takes things VERY slow with Hollander. She really does her best to do her research on if she can trust him to talk her anti-shinra rhetoric. One day she takes him two coffees (that he didn't order) and in confusion he lifts one and he's annoyed that it seems empty - but it's not. It has a letter in it and an offer to find a potential kindred spirit. He takes the offer and meets her at a bar, where things start slow, then over months they're meeting almost every day. Soon their talks aren't even Shinra hate.

Lumi ironically begins her best life working for Shinra. For years she is finally making the money she dreamed of (even as a simple barista), enjoying not being ordered around every minute of every day, not witnessing and partaking in Corneo's circus of horrors. There's a particular night when she and Hollander are at a bar and she falls asleep on his shoulder while they watch chocobo racing. She almost panics waking up, remembering what would happen if you fell asleep around Scotch and Kotch; but she's safe. Hollander is still watching the races; there's still warm food and drinks and a lively atmosphere. She apologizes for falling asleep. Hollander had no idea she had done so. He urges her to get more rest but sees how tense she is. He doesn't press and she stays awake as bad memories creep in.

Lumi does eventually confide in Hollander what has happened to her. She eventually shows him her scars and he listens to every word of every story.

Losing Hollander years later almost causes a psychological snap for Lumi.

After his death, she isn't sure what she wants out of life. She's so angry that the time when they were conspiring against Shinra was the happiest few years of her life. She lives to see the end of Shinra, she fully embraces Meteor's impact... and then she survives.

I've pondered her working for the WRO; but when it's revealed that she's the one that sold out Zack's final location outside of Midgar to Shinra AND she was affiliated with Hollander, she isn't very welcome in many circles.

However, she always had respect for Reeve, and I think she help him out in ways she could.

Post Meteorfall, after some time in Cosmo Canyon, Lumi moves into the abandoned warehouse in Modeoheim, with only memories and shadows of Hollander.

They never married, but she takes his last name over hers (Ucello) informally, as a way to distance herself from the family that abandoned her.

I think by 10 years after FF7 (unless Square one day makes content based off of the fact that Genesis emerged post-DoC) she would rejoin society. Her only goal is to live in a world without Shinra for Hollander and herself. She still has his Shinra name badge.

San Jorge domando y luego matando a un dragón es una de las leyendas de santos más fantásticas de la Edad Media. Uccello ha comprimido dos partes de la historia en una imagen pequeña y extraña. El santo clava su lanza en la cabeza de un dragón, cuya extraña forma refleja la entrada de su cueva. Una princesa elegante, aunque de aspecto aburrido, ya tiene una correa alrededor del cuello. No sabemos para quién era esta pintura, pero su pequeña escala y su sensación no religiosa (se trata más de una aventura mágica que de la virtud cristiana) sugieren que estaba destinada a la casa de alguien. Fue relativamente barato de hacer: está en óleo sobre lienzo y no contiene pigmentos caros ni dorados. Uccello estaba fascinado por la perspectiva de un solo punto, usando líneas que conducen a un punto para crear una ilusión de profundidad dentro de una pintura, pero no la ha dominado del todo aquí. Los parches geométricos de vegetación retroceden hacia el horizonte, pero las piedras rectangulares del suelo se inclinan hacia la derecha.

L'Araba Fenice

Si tratta di un ucello mitologico il cui nome deriva dal greco “Φοῖνιξ” termine che significa “rosso” colore riconducibile al fuoco e alla leggenda che vede rinascere la fenice dalle fiamme purificatrici.Secondo la leggenda dalle ceneri emerge un uovo che,grazie al calore dei raggi solari,cresce molto rapidamente facendo nascere la nuova fenice nel giro di tre giorni.Ma la storia di questo uccello è sempre la stessa,non può sfuggire al proprio destino,morire per essere liberata e risorgere dalle proprie ceneri.

Il suo significato è associato alla morte-rinascita.Si dice infatti che la fenice risorga dalle proprie ceneri e da sempre le si attribuiscono grande forza e alle sue lacrime addirittura capacità curative,riuscendo poi a controllare il fuoco,essa era quasi indistruttibile.

Sta a simboleggiare la capacità di rialzarsi dopo le fasi di difficoltà,i fallimenti,le cadute.Abilità tipica delle persone resilienti termine che indica la capacità di fronteggiare avvenimenti traumatici in maniera positiva,non lasciarsi abbattere dalle difficoltà della vita ma reagire più forti di prima.
