MJ had known that she was running the risk of irritating the heiress in ways that could (not so subtly) bite her in the ASS later by being all of five minutes late. But this? God, if this kept up MJ wasn't sure she was going to emerge from their flight to the other side of the world in ONE PIECE.

O serviço de caronas da Uber ganha os ares já neste domingo (9), na forma de viagens de helicópteros que levam nova-iorquinos entre Manhattan e o aeroporto JFK. Informações são do New York Times.

Por algo entre $200 e $225 (R$ 775 e R$ 872) por pessoa, o usuário chega até o destino em uma média de 8 minutos - o serviço inclui um motorista que faz a parte final do trajeto até o Terminal.

Não é qualquer usuário que poderá acionar um helicóptero: o serviço está limitado a membros Platinum e Diamond do Uber Rewards, programa de fidelidade da empresa. Na prática, isso significa que apenas usuários muito assíduos terão acesso ao Uber Copter: para ser Platinum é preciso acumular 2.500 pontos em serviços do Uber; para ser Diamond, 7.500 pontos.

No entanto, embora a empresa projeta ter como principais clientes executivos e viajantes bem abastados, os planos devem incluir outros perfis de passageiros no futuro. A companhia, por sinal, ainda estuda expandir o Uber Copter para outras cidades e outros translados.

Airbus Helicopters and Uber test helicopter taxi

In São Paulo (Brazil) introduced the ability to order a helicopter through a mobile application to call taxi Uber. The project, called UberCopter, was launched on 13 June with the participation of the European Airbus Group aviaproducer, which includes manufacturer Airbus machines rotary-wing Helicopters, Aviation Week reported.
