Inspired by a sapphic reading of the folklore (by Taylor Swift) love triangle, set in Bathurst, NSW, this is the story of August, Hathor, and Celeste. Three teens, the summer break of January 2011, and the aftermath of betrayal, in the heat of small-town Australian summer.
Where The Pink Meets The Blue (Pt1 QST) also available (from my site above)!!
Inspired by a sapphic reading of the folklore love triangle (cardigan, august, betty) comes Under A Summer Sky In January.
Part 2 in Queer Summer Trilogy.
Set in Bathurst, NSW, Australia, mostly in January of 2011, this is my second novella, and my first inspired by Taylor Swift's work.

I saw you like sapphic fiction and Taylor Swift and I've just gotta ask you: have you heard of Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins? It's an alternate history novel abt the 1st woman president and her secret sapphic relationship/bearded marriage with her mlm best friend and has massive Taylor Swift vibes (especially anti hero, last great American dynasty, gold rush, illicit affairs, I Did Something Bad, and champagne problems). It also has a subplot about arson at the White House and ft. An entirely queer main cast and really fleshed out characters!
Oh, you misunderstand. I'm a writer because reading is very difficult for me. I also don't specialise in sapphic lit, I write queer lit generally.
Thus my novella series Queer Summer Trilogy. is three different queer stories.
