hi! i just finished watching the show and i cant quite understand walter's true feelings at times. it's hard for me to discern which of his actions were genuine and which were manipulative (particularly to jesse). 9 times out of 10, manipulative but i wanna know your take.

the scene in Confessions where walt """convinces""" jesse to leave town, why did walter hug him, cradling his head? was it his way of asking jesse for a favor? was it meant to be his goodbye hug because 'supposedly' this would be the last time he'll ever see jesse? was it to comfort an emotionally distressed jesse, with him realizing just how fucked up he is for manipulating jesse to do what he wants instead of being normal and ask him for a favor (which, i know is too fucking heavy for it to be called a favor) ????? or. was it simply just a manipulation tactic because he knows jesse will take the bait at that point?

somehow, i find the comfort hug thing as the least probable... but let me know if you disagree! i'm aware that walt could have more than one intentions but i wanna know what you think! this was long!!!! these stupid men just have such a fucked dynamic theyre like. a burning car crash I can't look away from

hey!! i hope u enjoyed the show :) as much as one can "enjoy" breaking bad lol, programs will be one of the greatest television shows of all time and also a roller coaster into ur own grave. to me, the hug is a little bit of both (manipulation + love). for all of walt's manipulation and careful dispensing of attention to make jesse come back for me, walt very clearly also Needed him and was attached to him in a strange way. i mean, we've seen the lengths he would go to just to get jesse back, both in a physical sense and on "his" side. in that moment, walt is giving jesse the one thing he's always wanted (a huge dose of uncensored paternal affection and love), which probably started as another tactic but was more colored by genuine emotion than a lot of his other so-called "paternal" gestures in that walt really was letting jesse go in a sense. again, ur totally right in that he probably had more than one intention and that we'll never Really know exactly what was going on in his head, but to me, that hug has always been like. walt is going to get jesse to do what he wants, he's going to feed him to the fire and this hug is another way of keeping him on that path because it's something that he's withheld from jesse for so long, but i truly do think some part of him was genuinely holding on. whether out of purely selfish interests or some glimmer of love, walt always Needed jesse.

so i’m actually completely fine with it if you don’t find nate compelling but since you bring him up, i will start with him. 

the thing about fortnite gamergirl nathan mackinnon is that he is like. very talented and reasonably conventionally attractive and also soooooooo cringefail. he’s the league mvp and a stanley cup champion and he has a gorgeous fiancée and he’s rich and he’s smashing through joe sakic’s franchise records left and right.... and he’s succchhhhhh a loser (affectionate). he’s uncomfortable all the time. he doesn’t know how to act. he’s pretty private but also he’ll just Say Things that are way too personal with the exact same tone he’d use to. i dunno. tell you what brand of sneakers he wears. he’ll also reveal things about the most private man in sports, squidney crocsby, that are way too personal—and sid apparently is fine with this because he continues to be boybestfriends and next door neighbors with the guy.

everyone thinks he is soooooo serious alllll the time (in spite of the fact that he is goofy and silly when he’s out with the boys) but it’s just a combination of a) his face just looks like that b) he’s just intense in general. he’s equally unchill about how much he fucking loves the boys and how much he loves his tiny dog. and c) mostly we see him when he is at his fucking job? and when he’s at work it’s All Business. don’t make him do dumb social media shit or ask him stupid questions about whether or not he thinks preseason is too long, he’s! busy! come back when it’s puppy day. 

he’s so focused on being working harder and being better and improving everything about his game and yet!!! he cannot win a faceoff 💖 he trains with squidney all summer! every year!! you would think he could learn something from the guy. but no, he doesn’t even seem to try to win faceoffs sometimes. he’s also. not ? defensively responsible? i do not exactly expect him to play like kopitar, here. i don’t even think he should waste all his energy backchecking; like, that’s not the thing we need him for. but idk from a guy who is sooooo fucking smart about hockey, a little more situational awareness would be nice. just a thought! like, if he wanted to be better at things, maybe he could get better at the things he’s terrible at? (but whatever, this gives me more of an excuse to push my ondřej pavel -> big boys’ club agenda). like. nate is an elite 1C—except that he doesn’t forecheck and doesn’t defend and one of his wingers (jonathan drouin) is actually the playmaker and the other winger (mikko rantanen) has to take all his faceoffs for him 🥰

this is my natemac thesis, you can take it or leave it (said with love!!!!! there are other players i am significantly more invested in getting people on board with). i think many other people can speak more eloquently than i can about everything impressive he does on the ice. but he’s one of my special little guys bc of everything else

Aside from the fact that Sylus is hot, there’s also the fact that (slight spoiler ig??) he’s actually suchhh a lovesick sweetheart as the story goes by 💕 I’m such a sucker for characters who are so in love !! His voice is also such a big fave of mine— imo his voice is a huge part of his character, and I think I’d be devastated if they ever change his VA 😭 Not to mention I love his banter + the way he interacts with me in the game! Aaaa and I also really reallyyyy love his backstory (another slight spoiler, but abt his past life with me!) terribly much, and I love how —after playing it and learning about his past— when you re-play some of his interactions with me in the present, there are some subtle parallels to things that happened in the past !! It’s all just so, so lovely and I enjoy seeing him every day on my screen so terribly much 💕

34. How well do they deal with grief?

this is a difficult one because i dont know if theyve ever dealt with true grief .....trying to thonk.. i mean rather than experience grief afhiri will become immortal to never have to bury gale so one must assume it wouldn't be dealt with very well. but also does afhiri have the mental capacity to truly understand the complexity of grief and how to navigate it at all? would they just be sad and not really understand and just live with that until they don't? afhiri has never experienced the deaths most do in order to learn of grief as a concept. no grandparents to mourn, no pet deaths, and nothing happens in game that could trigger that in afhiri ...... after much deliberation i've come to the conclusion that afhiri does not understand the feeling, does not know the word for it (has to be taught), and deals with it in a very child like way. they understand it hurts, they don't like it, they want it to stop and they don't understand why this person, or pet, is gone, and just wants them to come back. very, why did you leave me . haha .. hurt myself now damn YOOUUU

38. What are their dreams like? Do they have any recurring dreams/nightmares?

ignoring the tadpole/guardian related dreams..... they absolutely have recurring nightmares of the moment in act 2 with the heart of the absolute where gale is intent on dying. see afhiri is intent on dying with him but has this nagging feeling that they could just decide to live, actually. wouldnt that be so much nicer? and i can see them repeating that moment in their head with the result of gale deciding that being alive together isnt enough and they need to die. haha this kind of falls in line with the other question doesnt it ahaha........ afhiri has grief inspired nightmares over a possibility that never actually occurred.

in General though we must accept that afhiri has the type of dreams we assume dogs to have. oh look, she's running! she's running in her sleep! is she.. chewing in her sleep ?? oh you know....very simple very happy having a good time doing her favourite things!!!! (playing the flute, hanging out with her friends, holding gales hand!!! etc etc )

43. Can they handle stressful situations?

oh yes, with incredible efficiency. (does not know theyre stressful) THIS IS A HALF JOKE. they handle many many many of the stressful situations in game extremely well because they are acting the entire time its all a performance they are doing a bit they are clownin on you right now and if anything stressful happens it washes over them because a clown can't get stressed in the middle of the bit, be a pretty terrible clown if that happened (still a terrible clown though)

however if its a serious (to afhiri) stressful situation like. boyfriend blow up time, afhiri is the type to look at their loved ones for help. how on earth can someone who can't string two thoughts together figure out the correct way to handle a situation that actually requires two thoughts. thats stressful man. someone please approach the stage and take this clowns hand. wheres their assistant !!!

it really comes down to how personally important they are to afhiri. this also means most of the games events are not personally important to afhiri and i still dont know why they let them lead???

45. Do they plan in advance or just wing it?

this baby hasn't planned in advance for a single thing in their Entire life i don't think their brain has the capabilities i think attempting it would cause a headache!! they act. they act . they do. they charge head first into thing and no matter the outcome its fine because thats clearly how things were gonna be anyway!! what do u mean u could think on something first and come to a different conclusion and things may be different?? no ???? their decisions in the game? made in the moment. they didnt think about what theyll do when they reach X point. the choice was made then and there immediately upon hearing the question ! this clown a free spirit through and though.. free spirits don't plan!

- She's the most skilled among them and she's very helpful to the ones who have a hard time completing certain maneuvers, kicks or flips

- And yet, despite all her positive traits, she can't seem to figure out why these people would want to associate with her, let alone be friends with her

- Among those people are the Avengers

- They were the third factor that changed her life drastically

- They offered her a second home, away from S.H.I.E.L.D.

Do you have advice on writing fanfic? i want to write one and I have a vague plot, with some dialogue and details written, but how would I go about planning out the Chapters and time frames?

Hiiii b!! I'm so happy ur hoping to try writing, that's awesome!! That's definitely a first step is just having the motivation and the desire to do it lol! But as far as planning and chapters go I might not be the best person to ask 😂 I really just wing it, that's actually why I hate writing multichapters so much. Precisely BECAUSE it's so difficult to plan everything out and work in all the plot details.

For that reason I prefer to stick to one-shots these days, i've learned that about myself. I'm someone who likes to go back and rework things if I get a new idea, add stuff in late in the game, and with multichapters I don't really have the opportunity to do that. For example, Bite me, I reworked the plot of that fic SO many fucking times. I was actually losing my mind it was giving me so much trouble. So i'd definitely suggest like figuring out which kind of writer u are, a planner or a wing it kind of person lol. But neither one is better than the other, they're just different so it's totally up to u!

My plots are definitely not well-thought out, they just happen when I'm writing them. But my advice overall is just write when ur inspired, like just drop what ur doing 😂 or make notes about it if u can! That's when at least my writing is the best, I try to avoid forcing things, it just doesn't come out as well and I don't enjoy it as much, write for you! And honestly if u ever have writers block, just google some silly fic prompts or look at them on pinterest, it's always fun to let ur imagination go wild and just write for the fun of it rather than for the plot of a fic!! Sorry I'm not the most helpful 😂😂😂 but omg multi-chapter fics are the opposite of my specialty 😂😂😂 i'm terrible at them. The only reason MMDS works is because there is no actual plot lmao But I wish u all the luck b, i'm sure it'll be great!!! 💕💕💕

GOD I relate hard to this. I’m not exactly the same, but

Been interested in g/t since I was kid, mostly giant girls and tiny guys (which I was very strict on, idk if it was trauma or baby misandry/androphobia whatever). I hyperfixated on the concept, discovered the internet and immediately looked for content. I was disgusted by what I found but I also kept going back because I had no idea G/t was a thing and I kept sifting through the dirt to get anything remotely wholesome.

It kind of messed up my perception of myself and burdened me with a lot of guilt I still carry, because I wanted to be big and gentle and in control, but this thing was so heavily tainted and objectified that I felt objectified, and out of control. I didn’t want to be associated with this hyper-s*xual side of this interest but I had no other source of content.

I learned of macrophilia at 10. I learned of G/t at 16. But I didn’t know it wasn’t just giant guys until 17, when I started this blog. I thought the only people interested in GTS were the men who objectified it. That was...terrible for my self esteem. It may just be a fantasy or whatever but size difference is the thing I escape to every day of my life. It’s part of how I cope with negative emotions.

But I do like sensual g/t too. And safe vore (which predated g/t for me). I can’t only say I’m strictly perfectly wholesome. But the content I make is mainly for me, from the female gaze, and I don’t see g/t as INHERENTLY sexual. I aim to make nonsexual and nonobjectified giantess content without that,,,weird kinky tinge I see in so much macrophile stuff?

Anyways I TOTALLY agree with tinyinabigworld, it’s something that takes up a massive portion of my personality but I’m terrified of people learning of it. The only people who know are my mom and my closest friend, and even my mom was concerned about it. I want to pursue things like acting and very public careers but I’m afraid everyone will learn about this and reject me, or that I’ll get into a relationship and scare them off

Idk how to end this except to say THANK U TUMBLR for existing so I can have an outlet for the first time in my LIFE.
