Devildom is so super fun so I like to think the demons come in literally every shape and size, some don’t look human and don’t really have a human form ( more like minotaurs or some deep sea creature). Like okay Beel and Diavolo are big but there’s bigger!

i think the reason that people so easily overlook how like… absolutely crazy and repressed naruto is is because he’s so emotional and open about everything else. he’s really a character that wears his heart on his sleeve, so its easy to take him at face value esp since naruto’s talk no jutsu is jus the sum of him being hyper empathetic with like everyone he meets but like… the fact that naruto can feel so much but always for other people and never himself is kind of the point? he spends so much time being upset over sasuke and other people and events in the series but we very rarely see him apply any of that empathy towards himself. even at the waterfalls of truth, when faced with his own irritation and anger towards the village he doesn’t like… really acknowledge or work through any of it. “dark” naruto is like yeah you were abused and neglected and shunned your entire life and now people wanna treat you like a hero despite always hating you? because you were willing to die for them? and you’re jus ok with that? and naruto’s like “yes. bcoz i will b hokage :D” and then he hugs himself and pushes all that shit deep deep down LOL… it’s so crazy because naruto will get pissed over how gaara was treated, he’ll get pissed over sasuke, he went absolutely fucking insane at orochimaru for just TALKING about sasuke in a way he didn’t like, but as soon as it’s about himself he’s so docile!

like. he’s fucking crazy. sasuke gets perceived as more mentally ill and traumatized because sasuke is like… open and aware of how wrong his situation is like he KNOWS its all fucked up and he’s not okay with it and people take what are….. pretty reasonable responses to unreasonable situations sasuke’s placed in as like inane or ridiculous. meanwhile naruto jus spends all his time feeling and emoting for other people and actively shoving his own hurt and trauma down because that’s what he thinks a hero is supposed to be, and he’s afraid that if he lashes out he’ll be shunned again. and it’s not the sort of thing where naruto will be sad for himself when he’s alone and he’s putting on a performance for other people, naruto is like always actively desperately trying to tell himself that he’s okay and it’s fine that he was treated like trash because everyone likes him now. and everyone around him encourages it and holds him up as a hero and like some beacon of goodness because it benefits them for naruto to never hold anyone accountable for his suffering.
