Also I'm just a lil?? low energy?? I dunno I've lost a lot of motivation to do likee..anything :'D this isn't related to my sickness, though. It's been happening very gradually with a lot of little things and it has spread to my discord and tumblr activity it seems. I responded to like.three dms yesterday and even then there were long gaps in between the replies and I'm p sure I was half asleep bcz what on EARTH was I on abt at some points.

I'm gonna be honest..majority of my time is spent sleeping. Sleeping, sleeping, and more sleeeppping.. my STUPID brain has been getting to me Bad :[[[[ so it's been hard to do a lot of things. So I guess,, sleep is my main escape?? Idk sleeping has always been a coping mechanism for me. I dunno I guess any dream or nightmare is better than real life to me. I'm even okay with not dreaming abt anything as long as I'm not awake,,(not that that's a healthy way to think I'M WORKING ON IT IT'S JUST HARDDDDBWJHW). That and I'm always tired from my family's shenanigans xD

But even sleeping is odd for me,,LIKE uhmmm not while I'm sleeping but once I wake up. Like all my thoughts are amplified 20x more(/hyperbole xD) ughghhugh I'd go into detail abt things but I don't wanna,,yk,,make this too long or possibly sound crazier than I already do. I don't really know how to put what's happening into words anyway :[ ehhehasidamkf AND RLLY I'M FINE I JUST NEEDA.....sitdown......and rest,,I think.

Varric Tethras is constitutionally incapable of the kind of ego-less sincerity that cheesiness requires. Pick-up lines specifically are not Cyrus' default mode, but all he needs is a little alcohol in his system to start dropping the corniest, sappiest, overwhelmingly, embarrassingly sentimental shit. If people were flowers, I’d pick you and Did the sun come out, or did you just smile at me? type mfer.

(Esp early in their relationship, Varric has absolutely no idea how to cope with this and gets so flustered so easily & quickly, which is very good incentive for Cyrus to keep doing it.)

6.     a song under 2 minutes long i hope this isn't cheating but i literally had to answer this question last because all my songs be so DANG LONG, so i picked one i frequent an embarrassing amount because it SLAPS, and it's the fucking Dutch Hamtaro intro lmao 🇳🇱 ALS WE SAMENWERKEN ZIJN WE STERKER 🇳🇱 9.     a song with no percussion as much as i tend to focus on percussion in music in general, 二時の招かれざる客 by Mitsukiyo is one of the most magical pieces i've ever listened to. it makes me think of a late summer afternoon, walking down the wood flooring of an old, vacant house, dust sparkling golden in the orange sunlight, feeling like you shouldn't be there, but you end up making lots of little discoveries along the way. family photos, corroded jewelry, a teddy bear maybe (i'm getting carried away with this one every time i'm so sorry, but it's really that lovely and bewitching ♥)

Cyrus' dislike is easier to earn than it is to lose... One exception would be Dorian. Come Inquisition, they very much get off on the wrong foot, what with Dorian's tendency to be overly familiar, especially with his jokes (I'm still reeling from him telling Dahlian the only way she could surprise him is if she let chanters strip her naked and flog her.... dude...............), and that too slick Tevinter charm that rubs this particular version of Cyrus, with a thimble of patience for strangers on even his best days, the exact wrong way.

But Varric is convinced that they should be friends (and that Cyrus needs friends in Skyhold, all that constant glowering is bad for his skin). Wicked Eyes + Wicked Hearts helps a lot, with Cyrus generally opening up and becoming more comfortable with Dorian specifically after noting his support for Briala's rule. The two aren't as close as Cyrus and Sera (or even Cyrus & Bull as the other member of the Inner Circle that Cyrus develops a fondness for [he also respects Vivienne and Blackwall, even if he wouldn't consider them to be friends; Solas was mean to Merrill the first time she visited Skyhold and Cyrus has been glaring daggers at him ever since]) but Cyrus sincerely admires Dorian's desire to improve Tevinter & sees much of his own struggle with simultaneously identifying with and resenting Kirkwall--that question of when you will know that you have made things better, and at what (personal) cost--within Dorian
