after some anxiety I pushed myself to go and pose with the Tumblr folks during a break from the march

everyone was SUPER nice and friendly and I was able to relax!

I had a little trouble focusing on everyone's names but I managed to write a few down:

Tyria Pride Day 1 EU! A very eventful day! It started kinda slow, as I wasn't feeling very energetic, but then event 1: General Almorra appeared (other names censored just in case)

Event 2: council chair & frog incident

Started off with having the new chair out and people joined, then the frog incident happened, perhaps as punishment due to my overly arrogant behaviour

Then Tyria Pride from Anet came to hang out, that was a surprise

Event 3: Boylovers [BOYS] Guild creation

I got encouraged by Luisa of Luisa's guild of girlfriends to make a boyfriend version of it since I talked about it a bit throughout the march

And so here it is. I didn't really know what to do with the guild emblem so I just modeled it after Kivuntuoja since he was the one I was on when creating it and my representative lover of boys. With a heart background of course.

Event 4: Boy Juice

Saw this person asking if anyone wants T in say and responded and to my surprise got this mail from them. Bless this person..

Got myself geared up for Tyria Pride! Down 300 gold and up one Commander Dorito!

The plan is to do the 24th on Laurel here, who's all dressed up in aromantic colors. I sadly had to remove her beloved Lunatic Templar breastplate, as the red hue was mucking up the colors :(

And then we'll do the 25th on Nora in asexual colors!

I am not a volunteer or anything, but I will be popping up a tag to join the rainbow and then fumbling around trying to figure out how to use it! Yaaay!

Tyria Pride 2024 is coming June 22 and 23!

Hello one and all! Tyria Pride is returning to Tyria for the 9th time! Join us any time next Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23, on both EU and NA for an awesome event that takes us all the way from Ebonhawke to Rata Sum, while we raise money for a good cause!

What is Tyria Pride?

Tyria Pride is a two-day in-game pride march from one corner of (core) Tyria to the other to show support both LGBTQ players and devs, and a fundraiser for Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organisation which helps queer people escape state-sponsored persecution and violence around the world.

It's tons of fun every year, a ton of streamers join in so there are many ways to follow along even if you're not in game, music guilds hold concerts, and we have some pretty legendary giveaways! It's always blast!

Fundraiser

Rainbow Railroad is a non-profit that helps LGBTQ+ people get to safety from countries where their lives are at risk. They've done tons of work all over the world, working tirelessly in places like Russia and Afghanistan, and have already sprung into action as a response to the death penalty laws in Uganda, where you could even get up to 10 years in prison if you don't tell the police your child is gay. Rainbow Railroad works tirelessly to save lives, and we're honored to support them in this cause!

Shout-out to my Fellowship of Fisherfolk guildies that attended today, it was my first time being able to attend with a guild and they were tons of fun to march with! Y'all know who you are :D

TYRIA PRIDE 2024 DAY 1 [NA]

This time for the NA portion of the Tyria Pride pre-event EoD mini march! Had fun this time around as well, even if I had to stay up a couple hours longer. We got a fun charr dance party in the middle of it as well!

At the end I noticed my character's leg stretching a little long during the dance animation. Also fun we had 3 very large charr completely synced up for the dance.

Seeking NA Volunteers for Tyria Pride!

Hey, ya'll! So we're looking for a few more willing hands to help out with the NA side of Pride. So if you're willing to help out, throw an ask my way and I can put you in touch with Lelling! (Or you can go over to the forums!)

It's very low-pressure��especially if you're nervous/shy like myself—there's HUD overlays that show the path and you can still hang out with friends and stuff. :) While we do encourage you to join the Discord to listen in to Lelling's directions, you don't even have to talk! (You can also listen in on their stream!)

I'll be around as well and you can always poke me (even if you don't volunteer) at the event if you've got any worries/questions/what have you! (gloryfalling.4329)
