I was playing typerace when this quote just fucking came in and destroyed my focus

It had been a rough day, so when I walked into the party I was very chalant, despite my efforts to appear gruntled and consolate. I was furling my wieldy umbrella for the coat check when I saw her standing alone in a corner. She was a descript person, a woman in a state of total array. Her hair was kempt, her clothing shevelled, and she moved in a gainly way.
I had to type all that with the grammar and punctuation all while ignoring my extreme urge to holy fucking shit

Fondly remembering computer lab time in early elementary school, when they would put keypad covers on the keyboards and make you do 30 minute lessons on typing without looking at your hands. I thought it was a game activity for the longest time, not an actual lesson that was apart of the class???

Build b0ac2a3d: Every 18 months, Type Race teams are now reshuffled. Build f0f9f535: Your next month's Type Race is now shown underneath the Team Rotation on the TR page, providing some clarity in general and easing the transition to the next 18-month cycle.
I'm sorry but WHAT?!?! I was already on Team water this past year -.- now I'm on team water again? I honestly loved the teams that I was already on. Now its being reshuffled? Do most of you like this new change or hate it? So far I hate it e.e

Weekly Update
calm week before the storm, resting, Korean study
09.09.-15.09.2024
Studying
preparing for my new Finnish course which starts next week
got my workbook (it actually fits the autumn theme!)
Languages
practiced typing in Korean with TypeRacer
-> my starting characters per minute speed was 24 and now it is at 36 cpm after a little more than a week (for comparison: in my native language it is 286 cpm)
also did the TypeRacer for Finnish and I have a speed of 210 cpm
finished Lesson 2 and 3 of Unit 1 and started Lesson 4 on howtostudykorean.com
Health
managed my diet (nothing with acid) because I ate too much with tomatoes and had a sore mouth
spend almost two days in bed because my period pain was very bad this time and I had zero energy
managed to do gentle yoga everyday, it actually helped with the pain
For myself
changed my Notion design to an autumn theme
kept my to-do list pretty empty to give myself time to rest
spend a lot more time reading (almost finished Crooked Kingdom, it's sooo good)
journaled to ease my anxiety about the new course
