so on pokefarm there's this little fakemon dude called kitwurm:

and the only way to evolve it to its second stage evo is to put it at 0% happiness

the easiest way to control happiness on pokefarm is to put a pokemon into a field associated with its type. kitwurm is a bug type, and grass type fields negatively influence bug types

and so in order to evolve my shiny boy kibble (pictured below) i have to abandon him in the woods until he becomes miserable and it just seems so fucked up
