Why is no one talking about this in Twisters???
Scott is gay for Javi
Constantly looking at Kate because he is jealous of Javi giving her attention
Each storm par car is named after a character in the Wizard of Oz. Scott drives the Scarecrow, despite going to MIT, this suggests he needs brains for something else aka he needs to be able to figure out his feelings for Javi.
Javi drives the lion, this means he needs courage. This is courage to accept his feelings for Scott and leave Kate behind. Kate was his connection to his past lover (Jeb). Had he actually loved Kate romantically I believe he would have fought harder for her.
Amazing foreshadowing
The girl wearing ruby slippers during the pool scene foreshadows Kate returning home. When Dorothy gets her Ruby slippers in the Wizard of Oz it signals her returning home. After this pool scene we see Kate go back to the farm she was raised on.
The man from Storm Par who joins in on the "If you feel it- chase it" chant in the beginning of the movie foreshadows Storm par helping Kate in the future. The man who joins in on the chant drives the Wizard car and that is the one that collects all the information. By joining the chant it shows that he would break from the group and that his work would be used in support of Tyler's efforts.
If you couldn't tell I love this movie. (I've seen it 3 times now) Please drop y'all's thoughts down below 🫶

Had all the feels reading this! Jealous Tyler is so cute; him being slightly insecure and feeling jealous just adds to the long list of reasons to love him. I’m so glad they worked it out tho!
Tyler Owens x Reader: I Choose You

Warnings: none!
A/N: not sure how i feel about this one but I gave it a go and wanted to make sure I posted!

Tyler tells himself that he’s over thinking… maybe even reading too much into things.
But God, he swears he isn’t imagining the way that you and the reporter he’d agreed to let tag along for the next week naturally interact with one another with such ease.
Tyler is not a jealous person– he’s confident and secure and he trusts you. Jealousy is petty and it’s stupid. And Tyler’s been trying his whole life to prove to himself and everyone around him that he’s not stupid.
Tyler has a loose shock to repair before the storm they’ve been tracking rolls in later that day. He’s currently laying on the dirt at the rest stop they’ve pulled in, with a wrench in his hand. Dani’s shining their flashlight for him, and it’s important he stays focused. And he tries… really, he does.
But Tyler looks up just as the reporter laughs at a joke you’ve made. And then, he reaches out to touch your arm for the added effect. Tyler nearly drops the wrench he’s holding on his face at the sight.
“Easy, T,” Dani says, studying him closely.
He takes a deep breath before looking back towards the truck.
“What the hell’s the matter with you?” Dani asks, kicking his shoulder gently with their boot.
“Nothing,” Tyler grumbles in a tone that screams there is absolutely something wrong. Thankfully Dani doesn’t push.
Throughout the rest of the week, Tyler tries to talk himself down whenever jealousy rears its ugly head. He keeps telling himself that he’s being irrational– you’re not flirting with the reporter everytime you walk with him into the gas stations they stop at, or offer to ride with him in the van instead of Tyler’s truck, where you normally sit. You’re just trying to be friendly… make him feel at ease.
But did he really have to look at you that way while you studied the GPS monitoring system? Or share his fucking cookies with you when everyone ate lunch in the field? And did you have to laugh so loudly at every single joke he made?
Tyler finds out on the second night he’s tagging along that Henry’s a fucking Columbia grad on top of a stupid self-proclaimed comedian. The two of you are sitting around the fire talking about graduate degrees when Henry turns towards him.
“Did you two meet at school then?” Henry asks.
Tyler smiles, but instead of warmth it’s laced with sarcasm. “Nope, I don’t have one of those fancy degrees, Henry. In fact, none of us but her do.”
Henry turns back towards you and proceeds to ask more questions about your time studying meteorology at the U of A. Meanwhile, Tyler is left to simmer in his own self pity, wondering if it bothered you that he isn’t educated like Henry.
Tyler has to spend the rest of the week fighting the urge to make it known you’re his– he’s had thoughts of keeping a permanent hand planted on your waist right in front of Henry. Maybe if he pulled you in for a kiss a little more often, and really claimed you as his, this guy would back the hell off.
But Tyler quickly shakes away the thought.
Because claiming you like an object is stupid, and Tyler is not stupid.
Tyler grabs you a coffee from the nearest gas station and brings it back to the motel because he’s really trying to move past all this shit. You’re sitting with Lilly and fiddling with the drone when he tries to hand it to you.
You offer him an appreciative smile that warms his entire chest. Tyler’s definitely been overreacting, because you’re looking at him with such love and admiration in your eyes.
“Thanks, but I’ve already had some today,” you say, crushing every hope inside of him in an instant. “Why don’t you give it to Dani?  They take their coffee the same as I do.”
“When did you have time to get coffee?” he asks, trying to play it cool.
You reply so simply, like the words don’t slice right through his heart. “I didn’t, Henry brought me one.”
Tyler’s jaw tightens. It’s a gesture you don’t notice, because you’re too busy focusing on the drone half in your lap.
What you do seem to notice, is the way he scoffs. It makes yours and Lilly’s heads both turn.
But before you can reply, Tyler’s already walking away. He clutches the coffee firmly in his hand and without a word, drops the full cup in the trash can outside the motel.
Tyler has to remind himself that he’s not angry.
At least not at you.
You and him have a great relationship. He trusts you and that’s all there is to it. Whether it’s Henry or whoever else–  you never gave Tyler a reason to be worried.
But Tyler doesn’t like the way seeing you with the reporter makes him feel. Because at any moment, you could leave him for someone with a more respectable career– someone with fair skin and button up polos who just looked like they had their shit together. Someone with a college degree… someone a hell of a lot smarter than him.
Seeing you with him made Tyler feel vulnerable, like he had something to lose– because he had everything to lose.
The crew spends another week chasing in Oklahoma. The season’s winding down, but they still managed to catch two EF0s and an EF1.
Tyler’s been avoiding you for most of the week. He’d offer the truck space to Boone and Lilly, he’d sit next to Dexter around the fire at night… hell, he would hardly even look at you.
You turned down his coffee earlier in the week. Only after the fact did you realize that you should have just taken the damn thing. You understand that rejecting him after he went out of his way to do something nice for you hurt his feelings… But you can’t understand how that turned into an entire week of the silent treatment.
On numerous instances, you try to approach him. But he always has somewhere to run off to.
“I gotta help Dani with the van’s oil change.”
“I gotta see if Boone got the footage we need.”
“I gotta give Dexter a hand with the radar.”
You’re getting sick of it.
You try to distract yourself for the rest of the week– you ask Lilly to explain more about how to work her drone, you keep on top of the radar– looking for forming storm cells, and you try to make the reporter Tyler had invited along for the week feel welcome.
Henry’s nice– he’s completely new to storm chasing and has loads of questions all the time. You find it slightly annoying that he’s so interested in Tyler… but you get it. And even though you’re a little irritated with Tyler for your week-long silent-treatment sentence, you still want him to sound as good as possible in the article, so you talk him up every chance you can.
You know that this lack of communication can’t last. And the second Henry goes back to Boston to write his piece, you plan to corner Tyler and force him into telling you what the hell you’d done wrong. But until then, you don’t want to cause a scene. So, you sit back, spend more time talking with Henry about Tyler, and try like hell not to lose your mind.
It’s more for his own sanity than anything. It’s like seeing you with Henry has caused this sudden realization to pop into his head… You can do better– and honestly you deserve better than him. The thought is all consuming. It makes focusing on anything else incredibly difficult.
“You gonna tell us what the hell is up?” Lilly asks one day.
Tyler’s currently standing in the bed of his truck, tinkering things that didn’t really need to be fixed just to stay busy.
“What do you mean?” he replies without looking up.
“I mean are you going to tell us why you two love birds haven’t spoken in like three days?”
Out of the corner of his eye, Tyler notices Boone glancing his way with an expression on his face that says he was wondering the same thing.
“We’ve spoken,” Tyler says dismissively.
“Telling her you don’t have room for her in the truck doesn’t count,” Lilly retorts. “C’mon, seriously, Ty. What’s wrong?”
Tyler sets his tool down and looks down at Lilly. “Nothing is wrong.”
Lilly rolled her eyes. “Okay, well are you sure she knows that? Cause Dani and I saw her crying in the bathroom.”
Tyler lets out a long exhale– the thought of you upset instantly filling his insides with sorrow. But the thought that he was the one to make you upset is even worse.
“I know it’s not my business,” Lilly adds. “But I’ve been watching you give her the silent treatment all week, and that’s not going to fix anything. I know Henry’s still here and it’s been a crazy week–”
Tyler can’t help the scoff that escapes his lips at the mention of Henry’s name.
Lilly pauses before a look of understanding washes over her. “You’re pissed that she’s been hanging with Henry.” She says it as a statement instead of a question.
“I’m not–”
“I’ve known you for six years, don’t even try to deny it. You are– you’re jealous, aren’t you?”
With his lips pursed in a thin line, Tyler raises an eyebrow at her. “Maybe I am. Does that make you happy? Is that what you want to hear?”
Now it was Lilly’s turn to scoff. “Of course it doesn’t make me happy. You’re being an idiot.”
“What?”
“I said that you’re being an idiot,” Lilly says, annunciating each word insultingly.
“Yeah,” Tyler nods. “I’m well aware that I’m an idiot, but thanks for reminding me.”
“I said you’re being an idiot, Tyler. Not that you are one. Now stop sulking and fucking listen for once in your goddamn life.”
It’s so out of the ordinary for Lilly to snap that Tyler actually does shut his mouth.
“You invite a reporter on the road with us and then you don’t give him the time of day to answer any of the questions he has. You’re short and curt and to be honest, kind of fucking rude anytime he asks you anything. Y/N is being polite– and she’s hosting the guest you invited along. So don’t fucking blame her just because you’re insecure.”
Tyler can feel the anger rising in his own chest, he wants to get defensive– to snap back at Lilly. But deep down, he knows she’s right, so he stifles any comebacks and instead hangs his head.
Lilly sighs. “You’re not an idiot, Tyler. So stop acting like one.”
After letting Lilly’s words really sink in, Tyler decides that she’s right. For the first time all week, he’s motivated to actually talk with you and make things right.
Or at least he is right until he sees Henry approaching you in the parking lot. He’s too far away to hear what Henry has to say. But he’s not so far away that he doesn't see the folded up piece of paper that he passes you.
In an instant, everything Lilly had said– along with all the things he’s said to convince himself he’s been overreacting flies away with the wind. Because Henry just gave you his fucking phone number.
Tyler turns– needing to get as much space from whatever exchange he just witnessed as he possibly can. In a few, long, angry strides, Tyler reaches his truck and climbs inside. In the distance, he hears Lilly call after him. But he pretends he doesn’t hear. Instead, he slams the door shut, starts the ignition and drives away.
“Where’s he goin’?” Boone says just as you approach him and the rest of the crew.
“Dunno. He didn’t say anything to you?” Dani asks, turning towards Lilly.
She shakes her head, eyes squinting against the bright sun.
“What the hell is his problem?” you say frustratedly, biting back tears.
Stupidly, you’d let yourself get your hopes up earlier in the day when Tyler had offered you a small smile over breakfast. You had thought that maybe things were alright, and that he was finally over whatever had been bothering him so badly.
But now you’re standing in the cloud of dust he just left behind after taking off in his truck without a word to anyone and you know that isn’t the case.
“Here I was thinking I helped last night,” Lilly says under her breath.
You snap your head in her direction. “You talked to him?”
She shrugs. “I tried to.”
“Did he say why he’s been so upset?”
Lilly hesitates. And truthfully, you understand why. Everyone here was Tyler’s friend first. You were the last to join the crew– inducted into the group just by being Tyler’s girlfriend. They have no obligation to be loyal to you over Tyler.
“Forget it,” you say defeatedly, turning away as soon as you feel the familiar burn of tears behind your eyes. “It doesn’t even matter.” With that, you make your way towards the RV, painfully aware of everyone’s eyes trained on you the entire way.
Tyler drives to the nearest gas station, desperate for space to clear his head.
He knows he’s being dramatic and irrational at this point, but if he stayed at that rest stop another second, he didn’t know what would come out of his mouth. He really really had to get it together. But he can’t escape the fear inside of him– the one saying that meeting Henry helped you recognize that you could do so much better than him.
And now you had his phone number, to reach out whenever that realization hit.
Why wouldn’t you be interested in Henry? He’s got a goddamn master’s degree from Columbia, he writes articles for the Globe, works out every morning before they go chasing–  apparently makes hilarious jokes…
Tyler rests his forehead against the steering wheel and groans.
Tyler’s gone for an hour. But when he finally parks the truck back at the rest stop, he hasn’t shaken the sinking feeling inside of him.
In a preemptive attempt to avoid questions he had snagged a bunch of snacks from the nearest gas station. If you ask where he’s been, he can just say he had a hankering for potato chips and call it good.
Except, you don’t even look at him when he gets out of the truck. Boone’s got corn hole set up in the dirt. It looks like Boone and Henry versus Dani and Dexter while you watch. He only watches for a moment before bringing the bag of snacks into the RV.
Secretly, Tyler’s been simultaneously excited for and dreading the end of the week. He’s excited for Henry to leave and excited to sleep in his own bed. But he’s dreading being back in your shared house. It’ll be the first time the two of you are forced to be alone, and he knows he’ll have to find the words to describe what he’s been feeling.
But apparently Tyler’s stupid, because he doesn’t even know what he’s feeling.
All he knows is that he doesn’t want to lose you. And seeing you with Henry makes him feel like he’s about to lose you. Tyler doesn’t know how to say that to you without coming across as a total lunatic.
You don’t want to cause a scene at the rest stop. But the minute you see Tyler head for the RV, you’re out of your seat and beelining it towards him while the rest of the team is distracted.
As soon as you hoist open the door, you find him hunched over the fridge, grabbing a water bottle.
“What the hell?” is all you can manage to blurt out. You’re fuming and on the verge of tears. But you can’t help it– Tyler’s silent treatment has just about pushed you to the edge.
Tyler whips around at the sound of your entrance… and maybe it was a little dramatic– but you need to get your point across.
There’s a long pause while Tyler’s eyes study you.
“Are you gonna tell me why you’ve been avoiding me all week?”
You’re met by more silence.
“This is ridiculous, Tyler. Will you just talk to me?”
Finally, Tyler scoffs, “The reporter gave you his number, right?  Why don’t you talk to him?  I’m sure he’d love to talk.”
In an instant, a wave of understanding washes over you. But it isn’t overshadowed by the anger you feel.
“Are you serious right now? You’re jealous of Henry?”
He shuts the fridge before cracking open his water bottle dismissively, ignoring your questions.
“Tyler, are you forgetting that you’re the one who invited him with us this week? I mean, did you think he was just supposed to sit back and observe? He’s a reporter, of course he’s going to have questions… Questions that you were way more qualified to answer, but you were too busy being a jerk all week to answer any of them. So I did it for you–”
“I never asked for you to do that.”
“You didn’t have to– I did it for you!” you cry. “I did it so that he’d write you a good story– because you deserve that.”
“Oh, how convenient. So you two just get along so well for my sake then?” he says.
You exhale sharply. “Are you kidding me right now? We’ve spent the last week talking about you! I’ve been talking you up– telling him stories about what you do– how good you are at what you do– all the people you’ve helped–”
Tyler rolls his eyes. “Yeah right,” he scoffs.
You pause, anger slowly melting away at the realization that he genuinely didn’t believe anything you were saying.
“Tyler,” you say seriously. “There is absolutely nothing going on between me and Henry. I’ve been answering his questions and telling him how fucking brave and generous and smart you are–”
“Don’t patronize me,” he snaps, voice cracking just slightly. “Just forget it, it doesn’t matter.” He sets his water bottle on the counter before moving to step by you.
“Tyler stop–” you say, reaching for him. But he’s too quick. He reaches the door before you’re able to stop him.
“Will you please stop walking away from me!” you blurt out frustratedly, tears forming in your eyes. “You’ve been running from me all week– I just… I just want to talk about this. Please–”
Tyler doesn’t turn to face you, but to your relief, he stops before opening the door.
“There is nothing happening between me and Henry, Tyler. I mean, I promise you, absolutely nothing– I… I don’t know how else to convince you. But there’s nothing going on. I’m not into Henry–”
“I know,” he says quickly, eyes squeezing shut.
You let your mouth fall open, confusion washing over you. “What?”
“I know there’s nothing happening between you and Henry– I trust you and I believe you.”
You shake your head in disbelief. “So why are you so mad at me?”
Tyler pauses and bites his lip before saying, “I’m not mad at you–” he tries to explain. “I just… I don’t understand.”
“Understand what?”
“I don’t understand why–”
You sigh. “Tyler, you’re not making any sense–”
Tyler’s face twists in anguish. “Why aren’t you into him?”
“What are you talking about?”
“He’s everything I’m not. And I mean– Seeing you with him– it just made me realize that you can do so much better than me,”  Tyler says desperately, the pain almost palpable in his voice. “He’s got the fancy degree– he’s obviously smart–”
You’re shaking your head before he even finishes his sentence, because the idea of anyone ever being better than Tyler was even more ludicrous than him being jealous in the first place. “Tyler, you’re smart–”
“I didn’t go to Columbia. I didn’t even finish my first year of undergrad.”
“I don’t care about any of that– you know I don’t–”
“Why?” he blurts out harshly, finally turning to look at you. “Why do you even want me when you can have someone like him?”
Tyler didn’t think he was good enough for you– and that admission broke your fucking heart. In an instant, all the reasons you loved Tyler flow through your head. There’s so many, you can’t even keep up.
So instead, you reach into your pocket and pull out the note Henry had given you just hours earlier– the one Tyler apparently saw him give you. He watches as you unfold the piece of paper, quickly revealing that it’s not a phone number.
“It’s his mom’s cookie recipe,” you explain. “The ones you refused to try. I talked to him about how you have a sweet tooth, and I said how much you love chocolate chip cookies, so he wrote it down for me. I thought I might be able to make them for you when we got home. Because I love you– and I love doing things that will make you happy. Because that’s what you do for me– you make me happy. All the time, just by existing.”
You watch as the realization washes over him.
You sigh. “Did you ever stop and think about how I feel the same about you?”
He pauses before looking at you questioningly.
“I mean, you’re you,” you say, gesturing towards him. “People adore you, Tyler. And rightfully so– but I’m always worried you’ll find someone better. But I don’t get hung up on it, because I trust you. I trust that you mean it when you tell me you love me and you choose me. And I need you to do the same for me, Tyler. I need you to trust me. Because I love you– and I always will.”
Tyler exhales, his eyes watery.
“Can you do that?” you plead.
To your relief, after a moment, he nods.
You don’t hesitate before closing the gap between you and wrapping your arms around his middle. You lay your head on his chest just as his arms wind around your shoulders in an attempt to make up for all the hugs you’ve missed out on this week. Because as much as you love chasing in Oklahoma or Texas, your absolute favorite place to be is at home in his arms.
“Cookie recipe, huh?” he muses above you, chin resting on top of your heads.
You nod. “I’m a horrible baker, but I was going to give it a shot.”
Tyler tightens his grip around you. “Well horrible baker or not, I love you and I choose you.”
You let your eyes fall shut and inhale the familiar, comforting scent of him. “You have no idea how happy that makes me,” you say honestly.

After breakfast, you helped Dexter and Lily clean up and prepare to leave for the first chase of the day. You gathered up the trash bags, jogged the short distance to the dumpsters, and tossed them in. When you turned around, you jumped as you found Tyler standing in front of you.
Clutching your chest, you swore, “Damn it! Why does everyone have to keep popping up and scaring me!”
He grinned, swaggering forward as he said, “I saw that little show you put on with Boone. It seems like you might not be over that revengeful streak of yours after all.” He stopped a few feet from you.
You lifted one shoulder as you tilted your head down so you could look up at him from under your lashes. “What can I say, some habits are hard to break.” Stepping closer until your chest almost grazed his, you lifted your head and stared unwaveringly into his eyes. “And sometimes people need to be reminded they aren’t the only ones who can tease or play games. Or that maybe they aren’t as smooth as they think they are and others can see through their bullshit deflections.”
Tilting his head, almost in a sign of deference, he murmured, “Good to know. Maybe you should take your own advice.”
He leaned his head closer to yours…then pivoted and walked back towards his truck, once again leaving you flustered and your cheeks burning. As you silently cursed him, he yelled over his shoulder, “Oh, you might wanna have a talk with Boone about that little act before he shows up at your room with flowers and a box of chocolates.”
You rolled your eyes and trudged after him.
Tumblr media
It turned out, Tyler may not have been exaggerating. When you made it back to the camper van, Boone was there waiting for you, asking if you needed any help or if he could carry something for you or if you wanted something to drink or—
You couldn’t see Tyler, but you swore you heard him snickering somewhere nearby.
As politely as possible, you explained to Boone that while you appreciated his offers, you were fine and that you hoped he didn’t get the wrong impression from your hug earlier. Boone’s face flushed as he stammered out a few “‘course not”s and “we’re cool”s before excusing himself and slinking away. You felt really bad at essentially using him, especially after he had been nothing but kind to you. Once again, you kicked yourself for allowing the old you to come to the surface and not having the self-control to stop playing games.
Luckily, everything seemed to be forgotten by the time you joined Tyler and Boone at the red pickup a few minutes later. Boone was back to his usual excitable self as he prepared his camera and showed you how everything worked. Between his handheld with the live stream and the several other cameras mounted in the truck capturing video to be edited later, it was actually more complex than you had imagined. It seemed as if you really had underestimated Boone, and that made you feel even worse for involving him in your scheme earlier.
Then suddenly, it was time to roll out. You had been so focused on your behavior that morning that you hadn’t thought about what was about to happen next. As the last of the bags were stowed away in one of the vans and Dexter did one last run down of the current weather patterns, a knot began to form in the pit of your stomach. Telling yourself you would be driving into the middle of a tornado today had been one thing. Now facing the very real fact it was about to happen, you wondered if you should have skipped breakfast.
On trembling legs, you walked over to Tyler’s truck and reached to open the back door. But just as your fingers closed around the handle, an arm draped itself across your shoulders. “Nuh uh, sweetheart. You’ve got shotgun.”
You turned to face Tyler, the knot that had been forming in your stomach tightening. “But I thought Boone—”
“Boone can get plenty of footage from the back. But this being your first time wrangling a storm, we want to make sure you have a front-row seat to the action.” Tyler opened the passenger door for you. When you hesitated, he raised an eyebrow. “Unless you’re having second thoughts about riding with us? There’s always room for you in one of the other vans.”
Swallowing hard, you said, “No. I-I can do this.”
You started to climb in, but Tyler grabbed your arm. Positioning himself so no one else could see you between his body and his truck, he softly murmured, “Listen, it’s okay if you don’t want to. You don’t have to do this to try and prove something to anyone, even to yourself. Just coming with us after the storm like you did yesterday already puts you on the list of the bravest people I’ve ever met. And no one—not me, not your brother—no one can ever take that away from you. But—” he leaned over so the brim of his hat brushed against the top of your head and his thumb caressed your arm “—if you do want to go, I promise I won’t let anything happen to you. It’s your choice.”
The sincerity in his tone left no doubt that he meant what he said. If you decided to ride with Lily or Dani and Dexter instead, there would be no judgment. Tyler wouldn’t look down on you or think less of you for it, and that was all you needed to make up your mind.
Shooting him a grateful smile, you said, “Thanks, but I really do want to do this. And I always feel safe with you, Tyler, so I know this time won’t be any different.”
He grinned. “Alright then. Let’s go wrangle us a tornado.”
He squeezed your arm one last time before helping you climb into the truck. Then he shut your door and hurried over to the driver’s side. Boone hopped in the back seat with an excited whoop just as Tyler’s door slammed shut.
You quickly buckled your seatbelt—trying to not think about the thick harness you hadn’t noticed the last time you rode up here—and settled back into your seat. But you froze as you looked out the windshield and saw Javi and Scott standing the Storm PAR vehicles still parked next to the main office. They were both staring right at you: Javi’s expression somewhat concerned yet accepting while Scott’s was nothing but pure apathy.
You wondered if Javi told Scott the two of you had talked last night, though you hoped he kept it to himself. Not for your sake (you doubted it would have changed Scott’s opinion of you) but you didn’t want Javi to put himself into an uncomfortable position playing mediator for his business partner and said business partner’s sister.
Tyler noticed who you were staring at and asked, “We good to go?”
You sighed. “Let’s do this.”
He nodded and started the engine. Easing the truck forward slowly, he rolled down his window and when he pulled alongside the group from Storm PAR, Tyler shouted, “Hey, Scotty! Make sure you watch the stream today so you don’t miss out on your sister’s first time driving headfirst into a tornado!”
You maintained eye contact with Scott, waiting for him to demand you get out of the truck or refuse to let you do something this dangerous. But instead, he just scoffed as he folded his arms across his chest. “Yeah, I’ll believe it when I see it. She was scared of thunder until she was a teenager. Trust me, she’ll be begging you to turn the truck around before you get a hundred feet from a storm.”
Lowering your eyes, you sunk further into your seat. Not only had he shaken the little confidence Tyler had helped build up in you, but Scott had just revealed something utterly embarrassing to your new friends. It was true that you had cowered under your covers or hidden from all windows in the middle of bad thunderstorms well into your teenage years, but you had gotten past it. However, you didn’t want the people who faced some of nature’s most dangerous weather on a daily basis to know that!
For a long moment, Tyler just stared at your brother. Then, shaking his head, he asked, “What is wrong with you?” before pulling out onto the road.
Once the motel had disappeared in the rearview mirror, Tyler reached over and rested his hand on your knee. “Hey, don’t listen to him, okay? He’s just trying to get under your skin. You got this.”
You nodded and tried to smile at him, but you could tell it didn’t look as confident as you hoped.
From behind you, Boone let out a low whistle. “That dude’s really your brother?” You nodded. “Dang, no wonder you decided to hang out with us instead. He sucks.”
The unexpectedness of that assessment caused a burst of laughter to escape your lips. Tyler glanced over, grinning and squeezing your knee. Your smile widened, feeling less forced and more genuine. Looking at the other storm chaser in the visor mirror, you chuckled. “Yeah, Boone. He really does suck.”
Tumblr media
Tyler had mentioned he was looking for a smaller EF1 or EF2 for your first time out. However, the storm the Wranglers ame across looked much bigger than that. It was at least twice as wide as the tornado you saw yesterday, yet Tyler and Boone didn’t seem the least bit concerned. If anything, they seemed more excited than you had ever seen them before.
As the sky grew darker and the truck began to sway slightly in the increasing winds, you dug your fingers into the interior of the truck so tightly that your knuckles cracked. Scott was right. You weren’t brave enough for this. What the hell were you thinking wanting to go on a chase? It wasn’t a game. Thousands of people were injured or killed in tornados every year and now you were going to just drive up next to one? Possibly even into one? This was insane!
Seemingly sensing your mounting fear, Boone leaned forward, his head poking between you and Tyler, as he looked at his friend. “You sure she’s ready for this, T? I mean, no offense, but this one might be a little much for someone who's never done this before.”
But Tyler just grinned. “Nah, she’ll be fine. Won’t you, sweetheart?”
You nodded, your eyes wide in terror as you stared at the approaching storm. “Y-yeah. I’ll be fine.”
Your voice betrayed the anxiety that was flooding every cell of your body, but Tyler reached over and took your hand, prying it carefully off the center console and giving it a tight squeeze. The small gesture instantly caused the panic rising within you to mellow slightly. The idea of what you were about to do still terrified you, but knowing Tyler was behind the wheel made it somewhat bearable.
He nodded to the harness hanging limply on the sides of the seat. “We won’t need those for a bit, but you might feel a little more comfortable if you strap in now. You know, just in case.”
Immediately, you slipped your hand from his and began fumbling with the harness. It seemed pretty straightforward but seeing how your hands were shaking, it’s more difficult than you initially thought. Without taking his eyes off the road, Tyler reached over and straightened the strap that was twisted across your chest. Then he helped you click it into place before taking your hand once more. However, this time, he raised it to his lips and placed a soft kiss on the back. It was more demure than the kiss he had placed there last night, but it still sent the same thrill through you all the way down to your toes. You quickly glanced in the visor mirror, but luckily it seemed Boone was too preoccupied with getting his camera set up to see what had just occurred.
Tyler continued holding your hand until rain began pelting the windshield, the storm now looming so large in front of the truck that it seemed to block out everything else. You heard Boone starting his video introduction in the backseat but you didn’t register anything he said as you sat frozen in your seat staring at the approaching storm. It wasn’t until Boone nudged your shoulder rather forcefully that you realized he had been speaking to you.
Shaking your head, you asked, “What?”
Boone chuckled nervously, glancing from the camera to you. “I said introduce yourself to the chat.”
“Oh, sorry.” You quickly said your name then continued to stare into the lens like a deer caught in the headlights as Boone left it focused on you, unsure of what else he wanted.
Luckily, Tyler came to your rescue. Grabbing Boone’s hand and swinging the camera to focus on him, he said, “Y’all probably remember me mentioning our newest Wrangler in yesterday’s stream. Well, she handled that storm like the pro she is so we thought we’d give her a shot at the main attraction today. Ain’t that right, sweetheart?”
Tyler winked at you before turning the lens back in your direction. You smiled and nodded. “Yep! We’re gonna…wrangle us a tornado!”
It felt a bit stilted, but the pride and warmth radiating from Tyler as he looked at you made you feel like you had just given an Oscar Award-winning performance. You bit your lip and looked away as you felt the heat rushing to your cheeks. But then you remember what Tyler had said about you hiding your face when someone compliments you so you turn back and look him dead in the eye. The warm look on his face only intensified before he turned his attention back to the road ahead.
A few minutes later as he pulled the truck into the path of the storm, Tyler slowed to a stop. He flipped a few switches on the center console and pressed the red button on top of the joystick positioned there. You heard a whirring sound and the truck seemed to sink into the ground slightly. Tyler must have deployed the augers to lock the truck in place. Dani mentioned yesterday that they had never failed since they were installed and you prayed today wasn’t the day that changed.
But as the edge of the storm grew closer and closer, you felt a fresh wave of terror grip you. Placing both of your feet on your seat, you wrapped your arms around your knees, curling into yourself as much as the safety harness would allow. You focused all of your energy on your breathing, trying your hardest not to start hyperventilating. But as the tornado finally hit the front of the truck, you let out a small squeal and buried your head in your knees.
However…nothing happened. The truck didn’t flip wildly out of control. The windows didn’t shatter into a million pieces. The augers didn’t give out.
Slowly, you raised your head. The entire truck shook and vibrated around you, the sensation sending tremors throughout your body. Outside, random bits of debris struck the truck but nothing seemed to be able to break through its upgraded structure. As the initial wall of wind passed by the truck and you found yourself deeper into the storm, you actually found yourself relaxing slightly, unfurling yourself where you had tucked into a tight ball. If something bad was going to happen, it would have been when the tornado first hit the truck. Right?
Tyler leaned over until his lips brushed the curve of your ear and he whispered. “Look up.”
You could just make out the words over the howl of the storm but you did what he said. Tilting forward, trembling as your face neared the windshield, you squinted up into the wind. For a moment, all you saw was dirt and debris swirling around. But then you noticed a smaller, tighter vortex dancing through the center almost as if there was a tornado within the tornado. And as you followed this swirl up, you gasped as you caught just a glimpse of the sky peaking through the opening of the funnel. It was one of the brightest blues you had ever seen and it was utterly magical.
You looked over at Tyler. His face was beaming as he watched you and, in that moment, he was even more breathtaking than the storm. Time seemed to stop and nothing else existed besides the two of you. Not the storm, not Boone, not the camera, nothing.
Your eyes met…then so did your lips. You weren't even really sure who initiated it and you didn’t care. His lips molded against yours perfectly, his tongue dancing across the entrance of your mouth as he tested his boundaries. But when you parted your lips further, he slipped inside as he wrapped his hand around the back of your neck and drew you closer. He tasted like coffee with just the hint of peppermint. And as his stubble scraped across your skin, you hummed at the shiver it sent racing down your spine.
The kiss was everything you had been imagining and so much more.
Needing more, you tried crawling across the center console to straddle his lap but something hugging you tightly across your chest stopped you. It was only then that you remembered the harness holding you into your seat. Your fingers scrambled against the buckle, finally unhooking it—
“And they say there ain’t no love in Oklahoma! Well, if that ain’t love, I don’t know what is!”
You and Tyler both jumped apart, startled by Boone’s joyful exclamation from the backseat. Horrified, you realized he had just filmed your kiss and broadcasted it live on the Wranglers’ YouTube channel. You buried your face in your hands, only peeking through the smallest crack to see Tyler’s reaction.
He ran his fingers through his hair, brushing the fallen strands off his face as he muttered, “Boone–”
But his fellow storm chaser paid him no mind. “You saw it here first! The tornado wrangler himself has been wrangled by a new beau.”
“Boone.”
“And if any of you out there has ever wondered if two people could kiss in the middle of a tornado, I guess we have our answer!”
“Boone!” Tyler shot you an exasperated look and you lowered your hands, chuckling softly at the silliness of the whole situation. It was only then that you also noticed the storm had passed and everything outside the truck was now calm. Too bad the same couldn’t be said for inside the truck.
Tyler reached into the backseat and wrestled the camera out of Boone’s hands. Then, he took a breath and aimed the camera at himself as he plastered on a smile. “Well, I guess that’s it for today, folks. Things took a bit of an unexpected turn but in the middle of a storm, you never know what might happen! Thanks for watching and as always, if you feel it—” he leaned across the center console until his face was next to yours in the shot “—chase it.” And he pressed his lips against yours once again.
You could feel Tyler grinning against your mouth as you returned his kiss. Without pulling away, you reached out and covered the lens of the camera with your hand. The world had seen enough of you and Tyler for one day. However, if you had your way, the two of you were just getting started.

Helllooo! I saw your requests were open and read some of your Tyler Owens x Reader fics. Was wondering if you would be willing to write a Tyler Owens x Reader enemies to lovers fic? Maybe some intense rivalry or they got off on the wrong foot and hate each other? Slowly they move past it through shared experiences and maybe get caught in a storm together? Idk. Just all the angsty and whump-y tropes are my fave haha
Tumblr media
tyler owens and his group of 'cowboys' had inspiration. tyler knew it, you knew it too.
you weren't mad about it. weren't mad about the years of hard work you'd put into your channel about educating people about storms and tornadoes only to be overshadowed by him. weren't mad about the amount of people commenting 'omg tyler vibes' on every video.
and then you got the email.
you'd think an email from tyler owens would come from 'tylerowens@gmail' or whatever. but it wasn't. it was an obviously made up name. 'chad.radwell@hotmail'.
'hey there,
this is tyler owens. we made similar content on youtube and i was wondering if you would be interested in a collaboration? we could film content for both of our channels, bringing my audience to you and vice versa.
i hope to hear back from you.
thanks,
tyler'
you rolled your eyes as you read it. tyler owens could fuck right off. you closed your email, checked your team groupchat and grabbed your bag.
to oklahoma you went. you sat in the back of the van, holding the camera, educating your audience on the weather you were driving into.
that was what your channel was for, for educating people in a consumable way. show them they didn't need to study meteorology to learn about tornadoes.
suddenly, a red truck cut in front of your own. "what the fuck!" you shouted, cutting the footage.
you knew that truck. tyler owens. "who does this clown think he is?" you shouted to your crew.
"don't let it stress you out," said your driver.
you didn't run into those cowboys for the rest of your chase. the filming of your video was as peaceful as it could be, considering what you were filming. you managed to get what footage you needed before tyler owens and his group of maniacs drove into the tornado.
you didn't need to confront him over his dangerous driving. but, fuck, you wanted to. you needed to. it was what he deserved, being chewed out for placing your life and the life of your crew in danger. a stupid stunt in the name of views.
he and his crew pulled into the same motel as your own. he looked so damn cocky as he pulled them stupid red truck into the space beside your own.
you let him park before you approached, knocking on his window. tyler was grinning as he wound it down. "you want an autograph, darlin'?" he asked as your scowl deepened.
"tyler owens, you're a nasty piece of work," you spat at him.
the more he grinned, the more you hated him. your trip to oklahoma was gonna suck now.
lets see if i ever write a part two lmao

CHAPTER THREE, back at it like old times
As she sat in the back seat of Tyler's geared up red truck, she looked over at her brother and she knew they both were thinking the same thing. Was this going to be worth it? Loud country music played from the speakers in the truck, the engine roaring loudly as Tyler drove up to a nearby diner where fellow storm chasers were at. The horns Tyler did and the loud music were a bit obnoxious in Libby's opinion, but when he glanced back at her and her brother with a grin, she couldn't help but match his excitement. And when he glanced at her with a wink, her heart skipped a beat. Though she didn't entirely know why she and her brother were in the backseat with some random British man. She was sure they would find out soon enough.
Boone, who sat in the passenger seat, turns in his seat to grin at Tyler and the Bradley siblings on the way there. "Finally back at it like old times! Shouldn't have been that long to get the gang back together in the first place, but at least we're all here."
"Completely agree with you there, Boone. Feels great, right?" Tyler's voice was full of excitement and he looked back at Libby and Q, grinning.
"Honestly, yeah, it does." Q admits, grinning back at him. "Besides your wild driving." He teased, causing Tyler to scoff.
"My driving isn't that bad." He shot back.
"We beg to differ!" Libby chimed in, chuckling along with Q and Boone.
Tyler rolls his eyes but his smile never faltered. In fact, it widens as he continues driving to the diner. Libby watched as her brother and his best friend continued to banter, their familiarity bringing a sense of comfort and joy to her. She had missed this. Missed them. Their energy was infectious, and she couldn't help but smile.
She turned to look out the window curiously, noticing other storm chaser groups were there and wasn't surprised some recognized Tyler and his team. "Aye, Storm Par!" Boone, who sat in the passenger seat, leans out the window with his video camera, shouts to a group who looked annoyed and upset with them. "We're live on YouTube. Say something!"
Libby leaned back in her seat, noticing a storm chaser group Boone was talking to. She blocked out the rest of the conversation while she recognized each of them, but one blonde girl she noticed her brother staring at. She raises her eyebrow at that, her lips quirking into a small smile. Her brother was never one to really date anyone, he had always been so busy with work and other things. Maybe this girl will be the one to change that. It seemed like he was already intrigued with her. She leaned over the seat, nudging his shoulder and smirking at him, making him glare at her and tell her to shut up. She just grinned, shaking her head at him and looking back at Boone when she heard him mockingly say, "Science is fun!" followed by a whoop as Tyler kept driving to park the car with the team following.
Libby was taken aback by the small crowd that had already formed by the red truck as soon as it stopped. She knew Tyler and his team were quite popular now, but she didn't realize how popular they actually were. It was kind of intimidating, if she was being honest. When she and her brother were on the team, they weren't nearly this popular. They were pretty popular, don't get her wrong, but not like this. She watched as Tyler climbed out of his truck, standing on the edge of it, holding onto the top of the door and grinning at the crowd. He wore his signature look, sunglasses and a cowboy hat with a smug smile.
"Hey, man, how ya feeling?" Boone questioned, aiming the camera at him.
"Feelin' pretty good, Boone." Tyler replies, raising his voice so it's heard over the loudness of the crowd that was getting bigger once people knew who was there. "And if you feel it-"
"Chase it!" The crowd responded.
Libby bit back a smile, rolling her eyes fondly. She remembered the day she told him that and how he asked her if he could use it for his brand. Of course, she said yes. After teasing him and telling him it was cheesy. They were just starting out as storm chasers back then and she wasn't expecting them to blow up in popularity the way they did. She didn't mind though, they were doing what they loved and helping people. And that's all that mattered.
As if he felt her gaze on him, Tyler glances back at her. She was leaned out the window, her crossed arms rests on the open window as she smiled at him. His breath hitches and his heart flutters at the sight. He couldn't describe how much he missed her. Of course he missed his best friend too, but he missed Libby in a way he knew he shouldn't. He couldn't. It wasn't right. She was his best friend's little sister. Nothing more. Even if the idea of her being his something more did cross his mind on occasion. He shook his head and grinned at her, tipping his hat to her before looking at the crowd with a grin. He missed Libby's flushed face and the smile that she tried to hide by biting her lip.
Libby decided to get out of the car when she noticed her brother getting out and she waited until the British man got out before she closed the door. She chuckled when she saw he tried to avoid the big water puddle outside the door as he walked around the truck. Something told her he wasn't used to any of this.
She introduced herself and her brother to him, finding out his name was Ben and he was a reporter and writing about American storm chasing. He was currently writing about Tyler. He seemed like a nice guy, a little shy and nervous but friendly. She jumped when she suddenly felt an arm wrap around her shoulders, but relaxed at seeing Q by her side.
"You sure about this, Little Libs?" He murmured lowly so only she could hear.
"Can't go back now." She replies, nudging him with a grin. Her face softens after seeing his expression and she wraps her arms around him. "Stop thinking so much. I know you're probably worried about the storm shelter running without us but the twins have it handled. They've been helping us for a couple of years now and even with their crazy ideas, they're actually good. So, don't worry, big brother. Everything will be fine." She reassures him. "A week off will be good for us. Plus, don't you miss this? Being with our old team. The fans." She added teasingly, noticing some group of girls were giggling and whispering to each other after they spotted Q. She laughed when he groaned and covered his face with his free hand before leaning his head on her shoulder. She grinned at spotting blush creeping up on his cheeks.
"Okay, yes, I miss it, but I'm not really interested in dating right now." He muttered, lifting his head off her shoulder. Almost instinctively though, his gaze landed on the blonde girl from before, noticing she was watching him. Well, not really him, but their group. That was until her gaze landed on him and he felt like he couldn't breathe. While she looked annoyed and confused at first, she now suddenly seemed to be interested in him, tilting her head to the side as her lips curved up slightly. His heart skipped a beat. What was that?
"Hmm, sure." Libby replies, not convinced by what he said. Libby follows his line of sight and noticed he was staring at the girl. "Is that the one you were checking out earlier?" She asked teasingly, causing him to stutter and look at her, his cheeks turning red.
"W-What? N-No! No, I-I wasn't checking her out. I-I mean, I wasn't, uh, I-I wasn't-that wasn't, no. Shut up. I'm gonna go help out Dani with giving stuff out." Q grumbled, playfully shoving her as he turned to the RV that Dani had opened. The girl with the shortcut hair had opened the door, holding up some shirts with Tyler's face on it. Libby still couldn't believe people wanted shirts like that and she found it amusing. Definitely arrogant, but amusing.
"Alright, everyone, come get your merch!" Q yelled out to the crowd, trying to distract himself from the fact that his little sister knew he was attracted to the blonde woman. He tried to distract himself, but his gaze kept finding itself back to the girl, their eyes meeting every once in awhile. It was hard to focus. He didn't know why he was so drawn to her. Maybe it was because he hasn't had a chance to meet someone he was actually interested in and it's been awhile since he dated. That's all it was, right? His attention was brought to some members in the crowd shouting his name excitedly and some asking to get his picture. He politely agreed, not wanting to upset a fan. It was a bit overwhelming getting thrown back into this life.
He and Tyler both used to be the faces of this group until he decided to focus more on his family business. He did miss Tyler and the team, of course the fans, and especially chasing storms and tornados. However, his main focus was his family and working at the storm shelter. But maybe it wouldn't hurt to just have fun for a week and forget about that for a bit. He deserved to have some fun and focus on himself too.
Libby stood off to the side as she watched Tyler autograph things for people in the crowd. She chuckled and shook her head when she saw Boone was recording him and the crowd. She was surprised though when she heard someone calling out her name. Her eyebrows raised and her eyes widened when she realized some fans were asking her for her autograph. "Oh, wow. Uh, hi." She replies shyly, rubbing the back of her neck as she was handed a paper and pen. "Surprised you guys remembered me."
"Of course! We love you, Libby!" A young girl beams, smiling brightly at her. "We were so sad when you and your brother left, but now you're back! We're so happy."
"Yeah, you and your brother are amazing. We can't wait to see you and Q chasing storms together again." Another girl says, grinning at her. "Thank you so much. I know Tyler is amazing, but I think you're pretty great."
Libby couldn't stop the blush that crept up on her cheeks and her lips curved up into a small smile. She felt a sense of pride and happiness at the compliments. Having fans was something she would never get used to, but she would be lying if she said she didn't enjoy the attention. "Thank you. I appreciate that." She replies, signing the paper. "Hopefully we'll be able to catch some good ones this week."
She continued to keep conversation with the small group, signing autographs and even taking some selfies. She smiled at them and waved goodbye to them. She was surprised how she easily warmed up to the fans, but she was grateful for their support. They really were some of the best fans.
"Little Libs, don't tell me you're already stealing the spotlight." Tyler joked, causing her to turn around. He was standing behind her, his hands on his hips and an amused look on his face.
Libby laughs and rolls her eyes at him. "As if. You and your ego will always be the center of attention."
Tyler chuckles, shaking his head at her. "Whatever you say."
She just shrugs, smiling at him. She couldn't explain how happy she was to be spending time with him. It's been awhile since they hung out like this and she was really looking forward to it. She hoped everything would go smoothly, especially with the storms they were chasing. But she was sure nothing could go wrong. "Hey, where have you been?" She asked her brother when he walked over to them.
"Talking to Kate." Q admitted with a shrug, acting nonchalant.
"The blonde girl you were checking out before? You got her name?" She teases, wiggling her eyebrows at him. "Find out anything else?"
Q glares at her, his cheeks heating up. "Shut up. And yes, I did. She's from New York. And she knows her stuff about tornados too. Basically said East is the one to go to, but I think we need to go West."
"West?" Tyler raises his eyebrows. "Really? Even despite what City Girl said?"
"Kate." Q corrected, narrowing his eyes.
Tyler just grinned, knowing he got under his skin and that meant he was interested in her. "Right. Kate."
"Yeah, even despite what Kate said. We should get going to the West." Q muttered, rolling his eyes at his best friend before heading over to the truck to get inside.
Libby shares an amused look with Tyler before following her brother. Tyler was right behind her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders as he guided her to the truck. He opened the passenger door for her and helped her in before closing the door and hopping into the driver's seat. Once the rest of the gang were back from heading inside the diner, they were off to the West.
And Q was right. West was the better option. It almost seemed like Kate was trying to throw them off, but luckily Q was smart enough not to fall for her tricks. Or was he? Because he seemed like a flustered mess anytime she was around and Libby and Tyler enjoyed teasing him.
"Alright! What's up, chat?" Tyler greets his livestream with his signature charming grin, staring at a go-pro hooked on his windshield. "Welcome back. Thank you for joining us! It's a perfect weather day! We just had tornado genesis. I am looking at a tall one," He admits, pointing at the sky that caused Boone to aim the camera at his movement. "And she is pretty."
Libby chuckles at his over the top enthusiasm mixed with a bit of arrogance. She shook her head and leaned back in her seat as Tyler continued. "Joining us today we have our ususal, my chief-storm-hound, Boone." Tyler puts a hand on Boone's shoulder, playfully shoving him. Boone let out a cheerful whoop while aiming the camera at himself before aiming it back at Tyler. "We got Dexter and Dani in the pyramid behind us. And Lily with her drone. And would you guys believe it if we said we got the whole gang back together? And by that, I mean the whole gang! Joining us for one week only, y'all should know 'em, especially the OGs, is our very own Q and Little Libs."
"It's Libby." Libby argues, reaching over his seat in front of her to flick the back of his head. "I'm not a kid anymore, Ty."
"Ow!" Tyler whines, pouting as he rubbed the back of his head. He glances back at her. "And I'm the childish one." He muttered, earning a glare from her.
Q sighs dramatically, looking at the camera. "See what I have to deal with on my first day back? But really, it's good to be back." He admitted, smiling softly.
Libby nods in agreement, smiling from ear to ear. "Yeah, for sure!" She leans back against the seat, smiling at the camera when Boone pointed it at her. "It's good to be back." Her gaze flickers to Tyler, who was looking at her through the rearview mirror and gave her a fond smile. Butterflies swarmed her stomach and she smiles back at him. "Though I definitely didn't miss his driving." She added with a chuckle.
Tyler rolls his eyes and grins, not bothering to glance back at her. "Ha ha. So funny. But anyway, we also have another special guest here today. Ben, you just came in from London, uh, yesterday, right?" He asked, glancing back at the British man between the Bradley siblings.
Boone lets out a whoop, aiming the camera at Ben, who looked even more nervous at the sight of the camera on him. "Er…Uh, yes. South London." He nervously said. "Uh, just between Streatham and West Norwood."
Libby shares a look with Q at that. He seemed unsure those of what to say, but he did his best to be polite. He was still adjusting to the whole thing, but he seemed like a nice guy.
"Okay…" Tyler drawled out as he continued driving.
"Tyler!" Dani's voice comes through the intercom that was hooked to a radio. "Tornado's on the move."
Libby has to brace for impact, holding onto the seat and the door when Tyler suddenly made a sharp turn, speeding up to around eighty miles per hour. "Oh, yeah! It's on now, Ben!" Tyler exclaims, grinning back at Ben. "You ain't in London anymore!"
Her eyes widen as they drive straight to the tornado and her grip tightens as hail hits the truck and the rain and wind become worse. She forgot what it was like being in the middle of a tornado. She forgot how crazy Tyler and the others could be. She forgot that she liked doing this before. And she had a feeling this week would be filled with many more reminders as to why she loves chasing tornadoes and stopping them.
She blocked out whatever nonsense Tyler and Boone were shouting as Tyler suddenly was doing donuts in the field. She shared a look with her brother, both of them holding on for deer life along with Ben. It's definitely been awhile since they've been doing anything like this. A part of a windmill falling off and landing by them made her gasp, her eyes widening more as Tyler narrowly missed it. Despite the fear she felt, the adrenaline was a rush. And she couldn't believe it that she found herself relaxing and not gripping for deer life the longer they were chasing. She missed this. She really did. And that was the day she knew that this week was going to be filled with memories that would last forever.
Libby didn't miss the fan group that was parked nearby, watching the group head closer to the twins. She looked out the window behind her, her lips curving up a little as she noticed the rest of their team were there cheering for them. She looked over at her brother, noticing he seemed to be enjoying this too. He met her gaze with a smirk.
"Well, this should be fun." He commented, raising his eyebrows. She just rolled her eyes and laughed, looking back out the window with a grin. She was actually glad he convinced her to come along. As crazy as it was, it was a lot of fun. She couldn't deny that. And she was ready for what else was to come.
