Circa 2000 I was working with Davy Jones (Monkees) on his JUSTME series of original recordings. Davy wanted a pedal steel guitarist, and I summoned Mark. Here’s “Hold Me Tight,” a Tex-Mex samba we did; the Mike Nesmith-ian arrangement was Davy’s idea:

I was tagged by @spiderman-homecomeme​ and totally didn’t forget to do it for a day or two. But I have a bunch! 

Rewrite The Stars - The Spider-woman MJ fic where Peter is her nerdy crush who helps keep her mess of a life together!

Leap Of Faith - Volleyball!MJ where she’s on a team with a lot of women from the Spider-verse and Peter gets wrapping into being their team manager for the season! My current favorite and my focus at the moment. Chapter 2 is going up today.

Spyder-Man - What if Peter Parker was recruited by SHIELD shortly after he started swinging instead of the Avengers? Basically some adventures of SHIELD!Peter as he meets the Avengers and has some fun with other SHIELD favorites. 

Learning - Peter’s life hits a low point, and it feels like everything is falling apart. MJ sees him at his low points and helps him learn how to help himself and how to accept help from others.

Outta Your League - Nervous about meeting the Avengers and terrified of them not taking him seriously or forcing him to stop, Peter has a somewhat forced, but gradual introduction to the Avengers as the rise of his first big enemy, some guy in a vulture outfit happens. 

An Overnight Trip to Stark Industries - A field trip trope fic! One of my favorites, but on a little bit of a hiatus while I go back and tweak some of the earlier chapters just a bit. I was a little harsher on Flash than I like now, as this was one of my first fics for the fandom but honestly some of the cutest Spideychelle moments are in this so I won’t give up on this fic!

A College Spidey-chelle FIC - A friends to lovers fic about the FoS squad in college, along with Gwen, Cindy, Anya along with some cameos of Tyler and Ashe. Not letting myself start this till I wrap up some of my other AUs.

Whip-it - A short Rollerderby one shot about MJ on a derby team and Peter and Ned being just the best fans. Friends to lovers!

Five times Peter was paid to help his friends (And the one time they paid to help him.) - A series of chapters about Peter working various jobs and his friends + The Avengers dropping by to say hi and mess with him. Plenty of Spideychelle planned!

Wow that’s more than I thought I had, haha. Still! I’m pretty sure everyone I know has been tagged/done it already so this is an open call to anyone who sees this! LET ME SEE YOUR WIPs! WIP them out for me!

after watching these two videos here and here.

@wadewilson-parker and I got inspired to make up a sorta Arthurian web warriors AU. Basically Peter Parker taking the role of leader/King Arthur and the other spiders being his many knights. I also wanted to ship Kaine and Miguel in the AU because I love the potential this couple has. I won't be doing a design for Peter because I like the spyder-knight costume a lot from USM and I just want to use that.

Character bios below the cut.

Kaine the Scarred: In this universe, it was Mary Parker that was bitten by a mystic spider. However, she was not the one given the powers. It was the triplet sons she had inside her that gained the abilities. The warlock(known only as Jackal) who enchanted the spider saw this and watched over the woman. When the day came to deliver the children, Jackal disguised himself as a doctor to sneak in and steal away the infants to experiment on them. However, he was only able to make it out with two of them, Benjamin and Kaine. Their father Richard had shown up and Jackal was forced to flee with what he had. After several years of searching, the couple kept searching for the man and their two boys. Eventually getting killed in their travels and leaving their remaining son, five year old Peter, to be raised by Richard's brother, Ben. It wasn't until years later in his travels as the spyder-knight did Peter find out that his brothers were alive. When he met a man who looked just liked him but with blonde hair, dressed in rags and having been clearly abused over the years, the mystery man revealed himself to be named Ben. The two raided Jackal's hideout and freed their brother together. Because Kaine was less afraid of his captor, he got tortured and punished the most, leaving him with a scarred face. He is tallest and most imposing of the three brothers. He has all the same abilities they and more. He crafted his own sword from the chains that Jackal had kept him in for years. He is the least social of the three as well and is not the best with his emotions and social etiquette. Ben, since he was "well behaved" got to eat dinner upstairs more and learn a little about social norms while Kaine stayed locked away in the basement of the castle. Kaine would later find himself smitten by Miguel the half-fae but would vehemently deny it because he's convinced that because he has found women attractive in the past, there's no possible way he'd find a man attractive to....right? Miguel the Half-Fae: Miguel's story starts before he is even born. His mother, an Aztec woman who was captured by Spanish explorers, was far from her home and locked away until her captors figure out just what to do with her when a figure appears before her. A handsome Fearie calling himself Tyler offers to free her and take her home. Unfortunately, he meant HIS home. By the time the woman, given the name "Conchata", by the explorers, realizes that she had been tricked, it is too late. The fearie had taken her to his home in Ireland and takes advantage of the terrified woman. Conchata later escapes the dark fae and gives birth to a half-fae boy. He looks mostly human except for his fangs and red eyes. While she loves the child, she still keeps him mostly hidden away for his protection. She gives him the name "Miguel" because it was the name of one of the Spanish explorers that tried to save her from his fellow comrades...it didn't end well for him and the others who joined him. She later goes on to marry and Irishman and has another son which they name Gabe, after one of the other noble Spaniards. Miguel became interested in science and magic growing up, dabbling in alchemy and potion making. Miguel has enhanced strength and speed thanks to his half-fae heritage. When he got older, he left his home to explore and learn more about magic and science and eventually came across Peter and his knights. After impressing them with his strength and knowledge, they let him join them. Miguel's weapons are a sword forged from fae metal and his clawed gloves that he dips in a paralyzing potion he makes. He gets along well with the rest of the team but for some reason Kaine the Scarred gets irritated easily around him and can't seem to talk when he's around. Wonder why.

I grew up on Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, Carol Burnett, Golden Girls, even some MASH. Grant you, as a kid all the adult stuff went totally over my head like a stealth B2bomber. But now... like a 747 heavy trying to land in my lap. When upset there's nothing else I can see. I don't know if thst can be remedied or not but I tend to fixate & close down. I am trying.. striving.. working.. so hard... to be better than this. For us. For you . . . . . For me to feel better. And yes, I think us & we a lot about you.....& I. Dreams about us & ahem..family..blushing shyly. Kinda inspires that. Bashful blushing kat grin. I wanna make the best dang biscuits you..... ever had! Better than grandma's countertop ones. Really a difficult thing to find these days! So looking at used range rovers. As much as I hate $$$$$. There are some in lower range. Heck, cheaper than new trucks! So that's what I'm looking at. Even though I'd rather not inherit other peoples ¼mile dragster behavior. Why I don't like used. & carfax is still reliant on honesty & integrity to report all issues. So I need to get some advice & make some calls. Will be the first car I ever bought myself. I've had hand me downs & .. drives. Yes, I've stood beside & touched lamborghinis, lotus, spyder, aston martin dm, [omg I loved that car!] & I've driven a Cayman diesel, panamera, near gt3, did 180 in 69 stingray & headache from exhaust leak.
