Okay, I'm intriged: can I ask what #titsatotmwstw is?

ok apologies in advance for how much i yapped:

titsatotmwstw stands for “the incredible true story and transformation of the man who saved the world”! it’s the longform/full title of the 2015 hip hop space opera concept album “the incredible true story” by rapper bobby hall aka logic, and i use the full acronym bc otherwise i would just be tagging my posts as “tits” lmfao (logic, for context, is an artist who gets clowned on often for having one very popular very bad corny album, which i think is valid and always funny. but the rest of his discog is actually good to me. to MEEE)

the incredible true story is a beautiful stellar incomparable album with banger song after banger song interspersed with scenes depicting the adventure of two guys on a space mission and their ship’s AI. it deals with themes of freedom and desire under capitalism, cycles of abuse both interpersonal and ecological, and, most importantly, being a fucking nerd. about a week ago logic dropped the sequel album “ultra 85” which has been in the works at least publicly for seven years!!! very exciting news for annoying people (me) it expands on the first album and also touches on finding your people, going to therapy to fix your dumb brain, owning your past without becoming a monument to it, and Acclaimed Director Quentin Tarantino. thomas and kai’s actors reprise their roles and there are some fun darling new faces

and i ALSO found out (from my coworker who was interrupting this info by laughing at me for liking logic. rachel if youre out there) that mr bobby hall is publishing a book based on the incredible true story (VERY exciting news for annoying people)!!! i knew he had a novel but was supremely uninterested except now that he’s apparently beating me to the thomas/kai fanfic game i gotta get my hands on that thang

this is 8 yrs long but if u or anyone else is interested i can talk about the actual characters and story and why its so interesting to me but rly you should listen to the album its so insane

15. any upcoming planned drawings

my plan for 2024 is to finish some old wips that never made it past the sketch stage! there are... so many p3 ones (you bet its all ryoji and minato!!! some aigis and femc too...) 🤧

i think it's a given that i'll be drawing something for march 5th (a concept has been laying around since late march 2023)... but i'd also like to make something for january 31st and december 31st. perhaps an animatic... but i will need to PRACTICE!!!

other than the important dates of persona 3, i'm very looking forward to regularly shedding my art style. i want to draw minato and ryoji in the styles of diffrent media (or artists) because i'm a little silly and enjoy taking that kind of approach. i will also do this with my ocs i think.

oh and i hope to draw some other characters from different things too :D im filled with so much silly and love for many things and art is my vessel to express that.

TL;DR: 2024 will be the year of experimentation and going ambitious! i want to draw compositions. i need ryoji and minato to be drawn like they're going to be a mural in a church or i'm going to dissolve into teeny little pieces.

I'll say something that is not the most obvious answer to the "what character am I the authority on" post

I'll say the second most obvious thing and go with Quinn Fabray instead. Maybe it's cause I'm not following much discussion around her but your takes on her character were so enligtening and not something I'd considered as deeply before. Also because her character is much more confusing to me than Santana so girly could really use someone preaching on her behalf

Yeah I feel like it's strange because I'm not that much of a hardcore Quinn fan. I like her very much and find her fascinating, of course, but I guess I just always felt like Quinn was covered in terms of fandom adoration. So is Santana, you could say, and you'd be right, but I have that special kind of love for her so it's different. But despite that I do end up writing about her a lot and I'm glad if that can be enlightening in any way. Quinn was just thrown around so much as a character and the writers made it so hard to make sense of her so I find it funny to untangle that and offer her more sympathy than the show ever did. And that's the thing, she's much more confusing to me too! And I do think everything that needs to be said about Quinn probably has been said before! But she's also a bottomless well of trauma and finding ways to help her get past that, and again the show never did give a shit so it feels nice that I can because why not.

It's just so funny because every time I would quietly disclaim that "oh yeah btw I don't go that hard for Quinn" I'd get an ask about her and write about five thousand words lmaooo. I'd say she's "only" about my sixth favourite Glee ch and yet here we are, second most written about. The girlie just has a lot going for her.

2) What kind of music do you listen to while writing?

not very much music if i'm honest!! 90% of the time i write in the quiet and can't listen to music or it wildly distracts me, and when i do need music, it has to be a very specific measured playlist witht he correct tone for my wip and playing very quietly bc if the music is too loud i get caught up in the words i'm hearing as opposed to the words i'm trying to write and it blocks me lmao
