oh PLEASE go off about how strife could obliterate parv’s blood network

OKAY SO

using the clipped part here of this episode of blood and chaos, strife suggests using a high temp furnace generator with one of parvs lava crystals in order to produce more energy in a more efficient way. they try it! and parv instantly starts getting hurt from it. hurt, nausea, etc. strife shuts it down quickly. 

from what i know with playing bloodmagic, parvs system, and other mods involved like chocolatequest, it would be REALLY easy to take parv down with a good few high temp gens running with blood crystals. itd be an entire set up sure! but parvs blood network has a foundation thats just sticks basically

ok here we go ima put this under cut

first to describe parvs blood network! so, at tier 5 he has the witches+ cursed earth with a well of suffering under his altar, and thats what gives him the power in his network. when not actively doing blood magic, he has a master blood orb in the altar so that the LP or life points gained from the well of suffering ritual is put right in the altar, and thus into his soul network (god blood magic has cool names for shit) 

so the first step to knocking parv down is simple! remove the blood orb from the altar, and ruin his ritual. either by just flat out destroying the runes, or relocating all his witches and lighting up below the altar to get rid of the cursed earth. this is important that the mobs are killed or moved AWAY from the ritual. i think killing them by it would just feed more LP into the network

so, once his stable supply is gone, what now? considering the fact that what parv has on him by default drains LP (bound armor, he keeps his bound tools unsheathed most of the time which consumes lp, the spell he uses costs about 3000 lp per use, etc.) parv himself would be using up a good chunk of his network. but to further drain the network, thats where the generators and lava crystals come in!

lava crystals use up LP to power furnaces and other devices in place of other fuel sources. chocolate quest comes into this because i found they were fairly common in its dungeons, and i know parv has two or three bound to him. thats all you need, really! just a few lava crystals bound to parv, so that they feed off of his soul network. dunno the exact lp per tick lava crystals consume when being used, but judging from the episode seen above, it can do some damage. and that was tier 4. Tier 4! he was taken down to almost zero with a soul network that had 100K LP in seconds!! from ONE generator 

so, tier five blood orb has about 10 million LP available to put into the soul network. getting rid of parvs blood source is important so that he doesnt refill during any of this. the generators though would still be pretty slow id assume? he wouldnt crumble instantly, because its not like parvs actively using everything he has in that moment alone. but with three generators set up with three lava crystals, hes not exactly stable! so to COMPLETELY take parv down, the final step is so easy its in strifes name.

fight parv. thats it! even if its just a tussle or whatever, thats how you get his network to collapse. im not talking anything hard core, like nuking him. just fight parv. any damage taken will be converted to lp spent by the network, thats how the bound armor works. the tools and weapons use up lp, he’d possibly use sigils as well which also spend up lp. eventually after a few hits or lack there of, everything would start to hurt parv

and so long as he has everything out, the same effects seen in the clip would happen to an extreme. nausea, damage, etc. his suit would hurt him more and more if he was in combat and taking hits, etc. and the thing with blood magic, is that it doesnt care if the network is empty. the tools will literally take life points directly from you to keep themselves alive. and that would kill parv, and put him at zero!

now on respawn hed be fine, i kinda assumed the damage taken in the video was to him directly. never really liked the bound armor bc it looks ugly so i never looked into it but once the network drops to low numbers, the bound armor would definitely start killing you. so w all his gear left behind parv would be pretty alright respawning! maybe winded, but w/e

from that, its like nothing happened. everything is pretty easy to salvage. get more cursed earth, the witches were simply moved elsewhere so they can be brought back, replace the ritual, get rid of the torches, toss the generators. itd be a chore, but he’d be back to full in no time. 

of course, that means that strife absolutely can take him down without even thinking about using a nuke so long as he plays his cards right. its a good lesson to be learned or some other bs hed share

✧ doesn’t hesitate to compliment you! will ask if you did anything different (you: “not really” ) and then always says “you always look great, anyway, no need to change anything!”

✧ invites you to his games, hyping up his team and insisting that if you come, he’ll play even better because of your support

✧ so you decided to make a sign for him for his upcoming game!

✧ you lugged it around with you when you entered the gym, backside facing forward to hide what it said

✧ you were a bit self-conscious, to say the least

✧ you got settled on the bleachers and watched the game

✧ but Bokuto rlly seemed out of his element; he missed a few potential points and the other team eventually got in the lead

✧ thinking that he needed a pick-me-up, you held up your large sign overhead sheepishly during a time out, hoping that Bokuto would notice

✧ everyone on the team started to snicker when they read your “You got this, Bokuto! Go Owls!” and gave suggestive looks to their team captain

✧ he was confused (Bokuto: “why are you all looking at me weirdly??”) until he finally turned around and saw your sign

✧ he was out with his teammates once when he saw you, so he called you over by name

✧ but since you’ve never met any of Oikawa’s teammates, except Iwaizumi, you were a bit hesitant

✧ seeing this, he goes over to you, gently grabbing your arm and pulling you over while reassuring you, “C’mon, I want you to meet my team. I think they’ll like you!”

✧ politely excuses himself from his horde of fan girls just to talk to you

✧ always trying to find ways to talk to you in hopes you’ll open up more to him and in general

✧ will offer you help even though you obviously do not need any (again, just to talk to you)

✧ and offers you other things he has on himself, like gum

✧ speaking of gum he’ll always have gum or mint on him in general but espeeeeecially if he knows he’ll be around you bc boyo want his breath smelling fiinneee

✧ eventually gets you to be quite comfortable around him (yes!), so you have nice conversations every once in a while

✧ he’s also v considerate and likes gift giving! bought you milk bread from his fav place because he talked about it the other day, and you mentioned you were curious to try it

✧ always respects your boundaries, though. he’s quite perceptive and is able to tell whether or not you’re uncomfortable

✧ and if you are, he’ll do whatever he can to lessen it (sometimes without you even realizing it)

✧ invites you to study with him after school in the library (and thanks the universe when you agree)

✧ tries to be sLICK when y’all are studying

✧ like he’s extra attentive so when you drop your pencil this man zooms for it before you can even blink so he can pick it up and maybe touch your hand as he hands it to you

✧ will kinda flex about his team and being captain (“oh yeah so we’re going to nationals pretty soon”),,, hoping to convince you to come to a game

✧ luckily for him, you end up easily vibing with both kuro and kenma

✧ occasionally you see both of them and are comfortable enough to approach and say hi

✧ after a while tho kenma just disappears and ur like ?? where’d he go ?? and kuro genuinely did not know

✧ kenma just wants to give y’all sum alone time,,,, but y’all dont know that (except kuro when he confronted him later n all he got as a response was ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

✧ always asks you about your interests, mentally taking notes on them (he believes that info will come in handy in the future)
