definitely Perks of Being A Wallflower! I knew plus sized rep was v low in fandom space in general, but it still blew my mind to get such specific feedback after writing from a vulnerable place. it's my most popular post rn (not that i've posted much 💀) and it was such a pleasant surprise to see so much enthusiasm for it.

BJ: He is still so new to me. So I'm still figuring him out. However, he loves music and playing the piano. Like genuinely, he writes the lyrics and the music himself. He works really hard. He enjoys putting together his outfits for the stage.

He dislikes being dragged into drama, especially drama he finds to be pointless. He is not fond of having to visit his old church. Or spending time with his parents. [All this is subject to change ajsbdh]. But none of them are HATES. So far I don't think he had that.

Kendis: So much. Eating. Shopping. Spending time by themselves. Spending time with loved ones. Throwing parties. Finding new things.

Kendis hates having to follow through with things she felt pressured into. They hate being told what to do -- but sometimes you gotta bitch all the way through it for the benefit of your group. She doesn't like violence. They hate having to make peace with people they dislike,I mean they'll do it if they MUST but -- it is really "make" "peace".

Kendis: in general since 2019, the KCL version since 2020.

BJ: cisgendered and gay. [Well, I'm 90% sure he's gay. He has preference for los hombres]

Will there be later on a fic of Wintersoldierxreader? When he gets a bit more stable and starts to form a more human relationship with y/n?

Will he slowly transition back into who he used to be?

I get a lot of dms and asks about more romantic fics with WS, and I am not sure if I will go that far. I'm on the fence.

Bucky endured extreme conditions for 70 years and that kind of psychological dehumanization lasts for a lifetime. He does slowly get better in the films yes, but not completely, and my fics will be no different. Especially since this blog focuses on his WS era only. I haven't really explored the intimate trauma end of it a whole lot and I want to, but haven't gotten that far.

Since the nature of this side blog is mostly for hurt/comfort, and taking into consideration the hcs about WS I have, intimacy is highly unlikely, for this series at least. Aside from it, I will write more 'x reader' types of fics yes.

I'm not sure how far my series will go.

He won't go back to normal, no. He never will. But, he is in much better care with the reader and their relationship will get to a point where he's not so afraid. The entire point of the series is to show his recovery with someone who doesn't want to use or hurt him and who genuinely does care for him. This kind of thing just takes time 🖤

Pierre can't sleep.

It's becoming a habit, which is not boding well for his stomach lining considering how much more coffee he's been drinking because of that fact. Pierre just...can't sleep. There's not much he can really attribute it to, except for maybe the fact that he's a few months out from the big debut of his whole new fashion line--the latest Louis offshoot he'd been fortunate enough to helm. This is years of his life at stake: all that school and groundwork, all the bleeding and pricking and crying he'd done to find himself here, surrounded by fabric swatches laid out haphazardly at the desk kitty-cornered in his bedroom. There are stacks of photos and torn-up magazines out on his kitchen counter. His whole apartment is now a perfect parallel to his workplace: covered in ideas, wall-to-wall.

Hm. Maybe that's why he's becoming an insomniac.

Instead of paying the thought any more attention, though, Pierre slips out of bed and pads over to his desk chair, grabs the nearest sketchbook of his and flips to a blank page. It's not quite dawn, but there's more light than there was a few hours ago--enough to see what he'd left behind.

Charles is out cold. Completely asleep, drool and all. He looks innocent in ways that no photographer would ever be able to capture: forehead smoothed out with sleep, body curled in on itself slightly in the absence of someone next to him. Pierre gazes at him, sketchbook heavy in his hands, and feels the guilt in his stomach like a knife. He'd only invited his lead model over tonight for a review of their plans for the first walk-through with the clothes. (They have to move right, after all: Pierre needs to see his work from all angles in motion before he can be comfortable putting it on stage, even for a dress rehearsal.)

He hadn't planned for two bottles of wine. He certainly hadn't planned for Charles in his lap, warm and pliant and so, so easy as Pierre had given him direction: take this off and open your mouth and hands and knees. The memory of it makes Pierre's throat tight. So good for me, he'd mumbled after, mouth pressing just under Charles' ear, and the yes sir he'd gotten back had thrown him right out of his own mind.

He grips the sketchbook tighter. There's no way this can ever happen again, he knows--once is a mistake and he'll keep it that way.

From the bed, Charles snores lightly. It's a soft sound: sweet, almost. Pierre's chest is so tight he swears he must've forgotten how to breathe.

"Oh, Charlie," he whispers to the quiet of the room, "what have I done?" Nothing good, he's certain. Pencil in hand, Pierre tries to redirect his thoughts to the work laid out on the desk behind him--dresses with angular cuts, wide-arm sleeves, the jagged lines of a belt that's been nagging at the back of his mind since he'd axed the last round of the designs from his main book.

What he ends up with is this: Charles, in charcoal, curled up in his expensive sheets. The most damning evidence of his lapse in judgment, and he can't even bring himself to rip the sketch to shreds because it feels like a waste--a waste of beauty, even if it's a beauty he can't have.

I think Cait would be super devastated knowing it was her Kiramman name that caused Grayson to be forced to take someone in. Throughout her whole time in Zaun, she kept trying to hide her last name. 1. Deliberately folding her napkin so the her family crest couldnt be seen in her failed attempt to clean vi's face 2. Telling ekko she had a friend on the council instead of saying her mother's a councilor 3. Not going through the kiramman front door

Hm yes this checks out with who Caitlyn is as a character. Caitlyn can't pretend she's not utterly privileged with her Kiramman status, but she does try to hide it in these specific instances. There's no doubt in my mind that her life isn't what's interesting to her the most. She would rather explore Zaun than continue to be useless as an enforcer condemned to a mansion outside of work.

I just don't think Caitlyn was ready to confront the reality that is Zaun and the danger that it brought to her. The deep corruption of the system, the blatant inequalities and such. She was concerned with helping people and understanding them as much as possible. Clearly, her heart is in the right place, so I'm sure she'd be devastated to find out about Vi's arrest and the fact that she was the propeller for justice at the time since she could have been severely harmed by the bomb.

Overall, she tried to hide who she really was until it couldn't be a secret anymore - when Vi entered her bedroom. It's lovely that their first real intimate moment was on her bed. She brought a Zaunite home. That's huge for someone of her stature. It shows her character development and her affection for Vi, too.

my return to the writing world is still recent so 5 is almost all of my work, and its mostly smut, but hear me out -

1. Die For You

ascended astarion x fem!fighter!tav!reader (WIP) long fic, current progress chapter 8/10

at its core, it was supposed to be a angsty one shot, and after reworking the first chapter, i had a spark of creativity and it turned into a whole story with plot. i actually really got invested into it and its the fic ive spent the most time on and written the most for, i had 3 main ideas for the ending and let people decide (without giving clear info) which ending they would to guide my writing, and despite the choice i was struggling the most with won, ive been doing really great! and im so happy about where its at right now and the ending i have planned <3

i recommend this one if you are into dark romance with a love interest who progressively becomes redeemable

2. Undisclosed Desires

you are definitely not the only one, anon!!! i love how gwayne is this major jackass to criston at first and even making classist and racist remarks, but then criston proves himself to be competent by saving him and he starts to acknowledge him and feel grudging respect for him. criston challenges his worldview (maybe even fascinates him as much as he disdains criston) as someone who came from nothing and is dornish and yet is now the leader of the kingsguard/the hand. they both are so different and challenge each other and force each other to rise to that challenge and maybe even to change/develop/adjust their worldviews, which is just such delicious ship fodder to me. not to mention the great chemistry between them!! eager to see more of their interactions and how their relationship will develop from here on out

FLESH I can't really share a snippet of yet because it's all a mess but ugh this is one of my faves. Think older Jackson!Joel, a man who has been struggling to connect with the world around him since settling in Jackson. When he meets the preachers wife (reader) he immediately becomes just so consumed with her. With lust, yeah, but so much more. She's something more beautiful than he ever knew existed. It's forbidden fruit, it's infidelity, it's pining, it's angst, it's pleasure, it's pain. I'm so excited to get round to tidying this and publishing it!

Cherry chapter 2, my beloved throuple I've been ignoring for too long :'( here's a little bit of it:

The moment you realise what you're doing, your stomach twists in shame and anger at yourself. Your hand jolts away, you try to catch your breath and shake the image from your head. "What the fuck is wrong with you" You mutter to yourself, pulling the sheets up over your traitorous body that's still warm from the thought of...him.

Aaaand Gym crush!Joel! My man. He's such a sweetheart, but also a very horny one. I've had so much help from @ravensmadreads on putting thoughts together on this fic and I've decided rather than a longform fic that didn't really make sense it's going to be a series of loose fit vignettes which is just a little more fun and playful!

I don't want to post the snippet but the current idea I'm working on is: big biceps juicy butt soft tummy Joel sending post-gym selfies 🤭

If they have access to their phones, they're constantly texting or face timing, if not, I feel like Gator would doodle pictures of her and Win would write little letters to him, like a journal of all the things she wants to tell him but can't.

27. What random everyday object/activity makes them think of each other? For Gator, keys remind him of Win, because of her car keys and the house key she always wears on a chain around her neck. And for Win, leather jackets, mtn dew, and police sirens/lights make her think of Gator.

Pierre, who happens to look exactly the same as he always has every single year they’ve been doing this: arms crossed over his chest, cap backwards on his head, race suit hanging off his waist like it’s trying to come off him. The thought makes Charles scoff. He’s opted for the black ones, the way he used to back when he was racing at Alpine, and Charles can’t deny that it’s definitely a color combination that works on him: red and black, accentuating the sponsors painted across his chest that Charles is intimately familiar with. The sponsors, that is. Not Pierre’s chest. He’s also perched across from Yuki, their longtime friend and current lead driver of Red Bull Racing. He’s leaning against the wall and clearly listening to whatever story Pierre is telling him, all exaggerated hand gestures and noises that Charles can only kind-of decipher. The biggest tell, of course, is the look on his face: delighted, completely, as Pierre chatters away like they haven’t spent all offseason texting, or whatever they do.
