OK SO-

“Dress to impress” seems like a typical fashion roblox game(fun fact we actually discovered the lore of this game when my younger sister played it with me expecting a normal game. Anyways she had nightmares for weeks after playing it. Yeah. Horrah /s) and it’s like…a fashion competition ig? (Idk all the lore since im trying to be careful not to trigger myself in the process of gaining knowledge) and…like the lore is obviously hidden and all but some of the stuff ive found so far are:

a…room made out of flesh that you can access by going inside the men’s clothing shelf. There is a key in the flesh room that says “lana”

oh yeah probably should mention lana. She’s important to the lore i think.

lana is the nails lady. That’s it that is all the info i have on her currently. Anyways after the first update, there was a new thing added to the “missing” wall, which at first everyone thought was just a homage to the creators of the game. Except that ppl started to notice some(not so new actually, the dress was added in the april’s fools update) pretty concerning stuff.

so. Fun fact about this dress and lana. You can only wear this dress after you complete a certain different game. How do you find the different game?

Lana has an acc with the user @ LanaDoesNails, with a group called Portals dedicated to the lore. She also has multiple games, one called forest, that after you go to, will send you to another game simply titled Maze, where you have to navigate it whilst avoiding someone. i did it, and after a few tries, i managed to get to the end, where there's a code.

The code translates to “you may have finished her trials, but the evil still lurks throughout. this is not the end. there will be chaos..”

Anyways after you play that game you can wear the torn up dress which, horray ig?

Moving on to the second thing.

BUT THE IMPORTANT THING IS THE MAIN MESSAGE WHICH READS

So…lana’s diary has some worrying implications(from what i can see, players have gone missing in lore and the flesh room might be made out of the flesh of said players? Maybe?) but to make shit more creepy, if you go to certain locations in the game and stare out the window, a clone of lana will be seen just…staring at you. this actually sorta gave me paranoia of looking out of my bedroom’s window for the rest of the night. she doesn’t do anything else she just fucking stares at you it is genuinely creepy i fucking hate it.

anyways that’s all i have so far most of the chapters of the game aren’t completed yet and also i am really fucking terrified of this roblox game idk why-

ughfhghh HI so i dont know if this is a strange thing to do i'm not exactly a tumblr or ao3 veteran but.

so i just found the like, spies are forever series of fics you wrote on ao3 and holy SHITTTT. dude. WHAT THE HELLL.

it's almost 3am where i am right now, so this may just be the sleep deprived rambles of a madman, but i dont have an ao3 account and i just wanted to express how fucking awesome those fics are??

so even though each fic was basically a one shot except for the owen vs vulnerability and rescued curt series, they all just blended together so fucking well, and they all somehow resolve themselves in one chapter and still leave you wanting more out of the au, and it's just executed so perfectly, i know that it's kinda like. writing basics but still i've never been able to do ANYTHING close to that, so it's really fucking cool.

also i love how, despite what i just said, the contrast between each fic jsut really. like. AUGH i dont know how to turn the chemicals making me feel things in my brain into words. but like theres a ton where it's super angsty and leave you crying, then theres a college meet cute that just makes you kick your feet and giggle, then theres the CHATFIC WHICH I WAS RAVINGGG ABOUT TO MY FRIENDS IT WAS SO FUNNY OH MY GOD IT WAS SO FUNYN and then i got to the staircase scene and i was crying again but. i digress.

also i absolutely agree with you about bipolar curt, and it would be really cool to see more done with that but PLEASE NO PRESSURE I DONT EVEN KNOW IF YOU WRITE FOR SPIES ARE FOREVER ANYMORE SO. PLEASE DONT TAKE THAT THE WRONG WAY

i actually havent finished reading the entire series yet, i'm close to the end but not quite there yet, i just had to stop and express how fucking awesome all of these works are because OH MY GODDD. i've seen a lot of really awesome authors on ao3 but none that really have the amount of contrast and ability to write so many different genres and tropes successfully. i have never had to constantly put down my phone and just stim while reading fic, and i read A LOT. OF. FANFICTION.

omg hi its the anon who sent the jasico superhero au that was bouncin round my cranium u posted a response to back in like april if u recall i only just realised i never actually sent anything back but i was reading through my old reblogs and wanted to say the stuff u wrote fucks, like its so neat.

i love the groundworks for the worldbuilding stuff u have set up, mentioning unions and insurance stuff its so cool, and the way u gave nico like a kind of lois lane-ish journalist/possibly blogger idk vibe was stellar.

u mentioned debating whether nico would have powers, and id never considered it but immediately my brain went 'what if he doesnt at first, but gets them later on, has to deal with the implications of that on his life and such, and is just confronted with the truth of jason's secret identity, possibly without jason even knowing' idk u don't have to use that if u do wanna write more with it i just figured id share bc it just instantly popped up nagging my thoughts.

anyway yah it was super awesome to see the little idea that rolled around my mind half formed harassing me turned into something so brilliant!!!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! That makes me so happy to hear :D as for the worldbuilding I was blatantly inspired by the book Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots, but I took it in a different direction. The idea of Superhero unions fascinates me, and looking at a world and going "how would people react if this became a normal thing" is something I find really fun when doing worldbuilding.

And yay! I struggled a bit trying to decide what Nico was doing and decided Journalism Major fit his vibes enough that I wanted to run with it!! I hadn't even considered the Lois angle but aslksdflfk that's so fun. Too bad his superman made a terrible impression ey?

also that is a DELIGHTFUL idea. I love having to explore the repercussions of suddenly being at the same caliber of power as the heroes he writes about, trying to decide whether or not he's going to DO anything about this information... Mmmm I love that.

I had given it a lot of thought and my main sticking point was "do I want Bianca to also be alive in this au" because my initial thought was that a lot of Nico's trepidation towards heroes comes from the fact that Bianca was one and was either injured too badly in the line of duty to continue heroing, or was killed outright. I thought it would be interesting to see Nico grappling with that aspect of his sister who he looked up to, and what that profession eventually cost her, especially if she was just too injured to keep going, which would leave room for Nico's initial hero worship of Tonitro while also giving him the skepticism of "this is an inherently unfair system." In the end it didn't matter much to the snippet itself, but if/when I go back and write more (I'll be honest it's not even an if or a when because it's just so much fun for me that I have written a few more little snippets here and there of the au, just nothing polished enough to publish lol).

In any case, I was thinking about Nico having powers at the time of the Tonitro & Waterspout teamup in the ficlet and that he could/would use them to try and find Jason and potentially even help with the evacuation effort. I've got half of a scene written in my head that I now think would work really well as an accidental-identity-reveal that Jason doesn't even realize has happened. That is such a fun concept nonny, tyty

this one was SO good omg. i know you're picky about your time travel lol so before you see that tag and go hm not gonna chance it, it's important that you know that it's not really time travel per se? it's more like steve gets transported to an alternate universe that exists because he made one decision instead of another at a previous point in time to show him how his life would be if he actually does that. and he has to like figure out how to get back to his own universe so he can make sure this one doesn't happen for him. it's a really good one and the platonic stobin in this one is also sososooo good, they are ride or die in any universe in any circumstance and that's so nice to see here.

okay i know i recced this one on the server already after i finished reading it but im reccing it again bc holy fuck it's so good and i love it so much. the vibes in this one are off the charts. it's got sci-fi, it's got bowie, it's got radio dj eddie, it's got a homemade documentary, it's got aliens, it's got everything. oh and the format of the fic is SO cool, like it's got radio show excerpts and newspaper article pieces and things like that interspersed through the actual story that add SO much and it's just so awesome and so creative. also the fact that super 8 (aka my favorite movie) is mentioned in the beginning authors note is just. an automatic win for this fic bc that movie is my favorite and it is so underrated and the fact that it was an inspiration for this fic is everything to me sdkfs.

i'm sure nico is probably tired of seeing my name pop up in their notifications but i cannot not gush about all of their stuff. their art is everything to me but this fic!! this fic is sooo good and sooo beautifully written!! a glimpse at steve and eddie's relationship and a brief exploration of steve's parents and what they meant to him. a trip down memory lane but in a way that's sort of bittersweet. tw for some memory loss but it's more of an allusion to it, like it's not quiiiiite happening yet but it's something that will happen later down the line. but yeah, the characterization in this one is just sooo spot on and i love the way that steve and eddie's dynamic was written here, it's so good.

First off, you and I mean Y/N is the ONLY one who can see Kakashi without his mask. He feels that his wife is the only person in the world who is only allowed to see him without his mask and cause he loves and trusts you a lot. He feels only comfortable showing it to his amazing wife and no one else, not even Guy sensei (even though they were buddies since they were kids). His love for you is strong.

He would send you random messages during your work saying “Yo! make sure to take care of yourself alright?....Also, do you wanna order food tonight?”

You both work and I definitely see Kakashi in a modern AU with a job as a teacher and he would brag to you about his students. Especially Naruto (won’t shut the fuck up in the class) and Sasuke and how they always fight, making him slowly gonna lose it with them one day.

Also, he would talk to you about Shikamaru being such a rascal that gets on his nerves whenever he corrects him in class, or sleeps and whenever he says “Sensei, going to your lessons is such a drag..” and his friend Choji eats a lot of snacks at the back of the class but Kakashi secretly takes one of his snacks without him knowing.

Whenever he mentions them to you during dinner time, you feel at ease and even chuckle and start to relax. And he knows that cause he has seen you been so busy lately with work and he wants to always see you laugh and not tense up.

You both have the same timing of your break time so, you being such a workaholic, you try to even work during the breaks but someone stops you by doing that. Your awesome husband. Kakashi literally rings you even 5 minutes before your break from a video call.

You guys would defiantly match clothes and he loves that so much.

Kakashi catches you sometimes wearing his mask and he finds that so cute, it melts his heart. “Haha, you are so adorable!” and he would give you his happy face smile and hug you as you blush. You always get embarrassed and shy whenever he throws in comments such as “you look hot”, “you are my sweetheart” and etc.. and he knows that! but does it on purpose cause he likes to see how you get all red and especially in public ;)

During the weekends, he knows you wake up early to work and so he decided to change that and make the weekends to bake! Every morning in the weekend you guys would bake cookies and muffins and they smell and taste so good. (you eventually forget the load of work you had to do and Kakashi notices that and he gets happy lowkey-)

Okay, he is a big fan of reading, and so he loves reading comics and fanboys about it to you!

During your work, as you wait for the next customer you would get a random message from him and he would send screenshots of the comic and he’s like “Omg dear, did you read the latest chapter?!”. You know he is all excited so you texted him back. “Hm, No why?”. “Quick!! Go read it before I spoil it!”

Would chill and vibe with you for sure whenever you play some music and both of you are sitting at the balcony, stargazing.

He is in charge of cooking most of the time cause he knows you have more work than him and whenever he cooks, oh...it’s amazing and that’s one of the best things when you get back home after a long day.

He would brush your hair every time whenever you go out to work which is usually earlier than him

Whenever you sleep together, he would cover you up with the comforter while you sleep and would later hug you around your shoulders, he does that to hold you and also to shield you (it’s a habit of his and its cute)

He would give you also a thumbs up all the time before you leave and say “Good luck dear with work!” (it’s now your lucky charm before you leave work). Oh, and he would always remind you to take your lunch that he packs for you every early morning and he would usually put a cute little note there saying ‘Don't overwork yourself!’

I feel like he would get another small tattoo on his wrist after marrying Y/N.

During breaks if your work place is near his, you guys would have cafe break dates and he would literally recharge even if he sees a glimpse of you.

You guys have his pet dog, Pakkun, one of his smallest cute dogs who is usually grumpy but ever since Pakkun met you, they loved you instantly and listens to you instead of Kakashi. Ha....This damn dog. He would think and twitch his eyes as Pakkun is all over you. (The dog is doing that on purpose to piss Kakashi off).

Makes you stay up with him late at night reading comics and the stories you both like to spazz about it and he loves doing that with you.

All his students thought he is a lonely sad man who lives alone with his dog and reads comics.

He once caught Naruto using his phone in class and he was going to give him detention but....he was shocked to find him reading the comic that Kakashi and his wife liked the most.

Kakashi: “Naruto! I told you not to use your......Oh.” Damn he is in chapter 34 already?! I need to caught up, this little kid is fast.  

“Hm...Sensei?...WAIT! YOU READ IT TOO!” Naruto would scream and get up from his seat. “Naruto, shut up you are being loud.” Shit.

He would text you immediately after that. “Omg...Y/N! Naruto reads our favorite comic!!”

Y/N: “NO WAY! Bond with this kid, he seems cool.”

After that, his favorite student is Naruto and they become pretty close but still finds him annoying, although Kakashi finds him as a good kid. And when they have parent teacher conference, Kakashi wouldn’t mention to Minato and Kushina that he uses his phone during class or skipping some classes.

I binge read heartburn last night with a choked throat and swollen eyes.

Every one of the characters was so well fleshed out, from Soomin the angel 🥺🥺 gosh I love her to the actual baby Jungkook who cried in the ambulance, every character was their own person and not a point to drag the plot further. Amazing!
