SWEET SWEET VINDICATION for dear boy jahsbxjh. his moment of sweet vindication didn't last long ofc when the scuffle starts right. took out a few people and had motioned to leave with simon and soap, when either graves or one of his besties on his side knocked his lights out rendering him briefly unconscious and he woke but with ale and isi in the cell... where he proceeded to taunt and give graves a hard time for funnies. make the best out of things u know? if at the most he expected things as much as graves teased him once and the pettiness in vik never trusted him after that asjnkxn THOUGH.. major bummer he wouldn't get to spend more time with nessie.. LUCKY FOR HIM SHE BREAKS HIM OUT RIGHT.. so its a major lemonade from lemons moment in a situation of lemons for him <3

i like to think that he and devin were either killed by one of their parents when they were children or abandoned and died to the elements b/c of the whole cursed twin thing, then reborn as tarnished and taken in by gurranq who raised them. in either situation i feel like devin died first and that's one of the reasons why darian's so protective of him.

uh do i ship any of those? im a rare pair shipper but like a dabbler, more like. if we're talking about supergirl i guess im committed to lena/kelly. im gonna take unpopular to mean not very popular and not like hated because idk if i have anything for that

lmao here's the ficlet i wrote for them because why not shamelessly plug

but also like pushing aside the entire military industrial complex, i think that lena and kelly would have been so restorative and healing for each other in a lot of deep and personal trauma when it comes to trust and caring and safety. i just also think that because kelly isn't part of the OG superfriends, it gives her a much more even-keeled perspective out of that friend group. it's not new to opine kindredness between them but i think more in terms of the fact that kelly is as much an outsider as lena (which i have other feelings about but we don't need to get into it) and isn't pulled into kara's orbit directly

i honestly don't even know what counts as theories at this point. similar to the ouat comment i made, are there even any more theories to be had when the show has been done and has been discussed at length for years at this point

so completely turning it on its head because this is my inbox and i can do what i want, i don't know if the show needed esme?? like i get it but i also don't get it. i think it was a means of tying a series plot point for alex, but i also just don't think she should've been a mom in her job with her lifestyle and stuff? obviously it's a fascinating and interesting direction to weave motherhood storyline with such a demanding job, but idk if it did more than that to make alex (and, by extension, kelly) any more complex or interesting a character. it might also have been like a couple of seasons too late because i think at this point motherhood as a storyline should have been dealt with more in relation to the character who brought the whole thing into question for alex: maggie. so yeah i mean esme is cute and is a darling but narratively, i wondered if she needed to be there and if it would have made a big enough splash in the story if you took her out and replaced her with someone else. maybe even another kid, but maybe someone ruby's age or someone kara's age when she first showed up on earth. would have been an interesting parallel overall especially because then i think it would have connected kara to the child more as well??? gosh idk but those are my thoughts

okay now I'm gonna actually answer- bUT INSERT THAT ONE ENTRAPTA MEME- THE "IVE WAITED Y E A R S FOR SOMEONE TO ASK ABOUT MY THEORIES" YEAH THATS ME RN- anon I am looking at you with my big ol autistic eyes that are sparkling with this 10 minute unstoppable rant that is about to occur (✧⁠ω⁠✧⁠)

SO ! ampen right ? my little guy ? my baby girl ? my beloved ? I'm gonna talk mostly abt their physical design than their other details bcs I have more notes abt their physical appearance than anything :]

I have no idea what they are, I kinda just started drawing her abhdjsjsj but I think the two most notable animals he could conceivably be are probably a fox and a dragon of some sort (original I know) however I do want to give an honorable mention to my first draft of them, bcs goddamn I changed a lot abt her bsjdhsjjs. at first he was just completely a dog but I decided to give them those 3 fingered claw/hoof things, here's the very sketchy guy herself who inspired Ampen:

yeah snndjsn basically the only thing that stayed the same was the vague color scheme and the "hooves" changed from the hands to the feet. a lot of ampens physical design was just cool things I saw in other fursuits that I thought would be cool, like I just loooove the hoof feet, they look v cool and I just like them a lot, so I included them ! (I didn't in my first real drawing of ampen but then I did on their character sheet) same with the tail, I'm p sure at the time of ampens actual creation I had recently seen a dragon fursuit with that kind of tail and was obsessed with it, I tried so many different tails for him and none of them were looking quite right until I tried their current tail, and I love it . the dragon bit also comes out in her muzzle, it's a bit more pointed and sharp than a canine muzzle would be, again mostly just bcs I think it looks neat :] and I knew I wanted my fursona to have big ol ears from the very beginning, I didn't put them on ampen-rough-draft bcs I didn't start with the intent for him to be my fursona sbjdjdjs but anyways- the fur pattern took me a while to come up with, I started with just vague splotches of color in random spots, messed around with specific colors, I don't think I decided on the pink stitch mark things until like- the very end dnjsjjd I have no idea where I came up with it , I was just trying random things and hoping they looked right lmao-

I gave them glasses bcs . I have glasses . and I think it's cute and there aren't enough furrys with glasses :3 then added the piercings bcs I think they look cool and that's really it bajshjejskwks

anyways , now for the couple things that aren't visible on a drawing, I imagine her being like 5'4 MAX , he's pretty short . mostly bcs I am v short and plan to actually make ampen, and that's a height I could realistically get to accounting for the ears hdjwjdjjejdke anyways, I don't really have many other little facts about them since they're basically just me personality-wise, so make of that what you will ! I will however GLADLY answer more specific questions if you (or anyone else 👀) have them bcs it will give me an excuse to come up with answers abhdjsjdjsjjd

anyways- this is all to say that I'm in love with Ampens design and I really should draw him more often and also probably just develop them more tbh- BUT ! ty v much anon for enabling me to ramble about Ampen, they're my most specialest little guy and I love her <33

122. “it’s always been you” kisses

“It’s always been you, since the day I met you.”

An old romance movie played dully in Medic’s lab from a small, tabletop television. The screen flickered and black bars rolled upwards off of the screen every few minutes. Nobody was watching it, only idly listening. The lights in his lab were low, pointed at the only subject in this room other than himself. 

“You’re so beautiful under this moonlight, my darling…”

Sniper nearly glowed beneath the light, shadows flirting and playing along the expanse of his skin as he took deep, even breaths. In and out, and again. He looked ethereal. Not that Medic would want him anywhere else other than where he was, but he could vividly imagine him looking even more stunning within his element… perhaps lounging among crocodiles on a rocky riverbank or laying alongside exotic flora in rich green, brown and golden hues…

“I daresay there’s not a more angelic sight than you before me…”

His gloveless, bloody hand lovingly ran itself through Sniper’s thick hair, his nails brushing over his scalp. Medic smirked as he heard the EKG kick up just for a moment before falling back into its relaxed beat. He paced around the table, admiring his beloved’s nude body, the modesty sheet that had covered him now laying over his hip and thigh. Dense body hair kept him… somewhat modest at the groin. The composition looked intentional, like he was a marble sculpture in one of the museums he favored in his young adulthood.

“Oh, my love! My heart beats for you!” 

Sniper’s eyes fluttered open, then closed again, smiling lovingly as he could smell his beloved doctor before he could see him. The hand that had been laced in his hair came down and caressed his cheek with the back of his knuckles. His thumb gently stroked his bottom lip. Medic inhaled shakily as the marksman’s mouth parted, tongue slipping out to slide over the pad of his thumb before pressing a chaste kiss to it. 

“Guten morgen, my heart,” Medic breathed, observing him as his patient, his lover, and his masterpiece. “Are you doing alright?” He asked, watching Sniper yawn and move to get up, being politely halted by the doctor pressing a palm gently at the center of his chest. “Na, na, not yet.” He urged, watching as Sniper’s brow furrowed in silent protest, but he obeyed all the same. He instead opted to stretch, arching his back and blowing a puff of air out of his mouth. 

The bushman’s stomach puffed out as he stretched and held the arched position, lopsided and misshapen ribs stretching against his skin despite the fat that typically concealed them from view. Scars, a light sheen of sweat that kept his body hair slicked down, and a few stray smatterings of blood adorned his skin. He finally relaxed again, flopping gently onto the table with a small thud before reaching his arms up and stretching them as well, extending his legs out and popping his knees and hip.

“I’ve never known any creature as beautiful as you… look at you. I’d even call you demure if I swear you didn��t know you were such a knockout…”

The backs of Medic’s knuckles came down over Sniper’s jawline, down his neck and trailed over his body as he stretched, watching as his movements influenced the shadows and how they caressed his beloved. “How’d I do, pidge?” Sniper asked, putting a hand behind his own head while the other reached down and idly scratched at a bit of dried blood on his belly. He yawned again; Medic smiled. 

He never overdid it with the medigun use with Sniper, but when they weren’t in combat he found that consistent use of the gun’s rays regardless of frequency often left the huntsman a bit groggy. Very cute. “Perfectly, of course. I’d expect nothing less from my greatest achievement.” He purred, stroking the backs of his knuckles over Sniper’s y-shaped scar.

“Good. Want to stay in your good graces, keep my title.” He teased, grinning crookedly as Medic perked up and looked at him with a look of surprise, laughing loudly and shaking his head. Sniper watched the doctor and propped himself up on his elbows, leaning back against them as he tilted his head to the side. “Something funny?” He asked. “Anyone could’a been your greatest achievement. Unless you’re tellin’ me I have nothing to worry about?” His lip curled up into a bit of a smirk; when Sniper’s smugness came out to play, so did those marvelous canine teeth. Medic’s toes curled in his boots.

“If I got just once chance to prove to you how much you mean to me! You’re my whole world, and you don’t even know it! I almost want you to go on not knowing… I’m just that selfish!”

“Oh, you,” Medic sighed, rolling his eyes and shaking his head with  a warm chuckle. He sat on the edge of the table and Sniper watched with a satisfied purr as the doctor’s fat thighs squished against the cold table. He giggled at the bushman’s shameless staring, hearing the EKG kick up just for a second. “That title will never belong to anyone but you.” He purred, leaning over Sniper and brushing their noses together. 

“Yeah?” The bushman asked, closing his eyes as he felt Medic gently urging him to lay down again by lightly pressing his forehead against his own. The doctor’s wide frame towered over him, obscured him in shadow and framed Medic’s head with a holy-looking crown of light. Sniper rested his hands on his own chest and let himself be mesmerized.

“Ja,” he confirmed, pressing a soft kiss against Sniper’s lips, kissing his bottom lip and taking him in another dizzying kiss right after. As if anyone else could truly carry such a title: important to Medic both romantically and professionally. Sniper was reborn of his own genius, sustained in part now by his own love, too. He grinned as he felt Sniper kissing the corner of his mouth, like an animal showing submission. After which, the huntsman claimed Medic’s lips in a tender kiss, claiming what he knew to be his. Medic did the same, kissing the canine tooth he adored so much before sliding his tongue against Sniper’s. Another successful procedure.

 “It’s always been you.”

"So this is like the butterflies in your stomach kind of thing?" Keiji asked as you were onboard the train going to Osaka.

"Yeah, something like that. We couldn't put it verbatim, of course."

"Isn't that cliche?"

You rolled your eyes. He might have graduated with honors, but you'll totally fail him in romance.

"You know, you just can't avoid some cliches. Some of them happen in real life and readers who experienced the same can relate. Their memories will bring back the same feeling."

"I see..." He contemplated for a while and asked, "have you already felt it?"

"Huh?"

"Have you already felt it...the butterflies in your stomach?"

You were taken aback. Like how were you- How were you even going to answer that?

You were at a crossroads until your phone pinged, alerting you that a new message arrived. Saved by the bell but not really because it's your annoying classmate again. Instantly, you couldn't stop your frown.

"Is there something bothering you?" He asked.

"It's just...my classmate." You let out an exasperated exhale. "He always wants to set up a meeting with me though he can do the assigned task alone and then he'll..."

Here you were, ranting as Keiji would note of. There's something about the way you're all fired up when complaining about random things. The way you'd make these pouty expressions, the slight change in your intonation and the little 'pfft's you blew off. His lips stretched into an unknowing smile.

"You okay?" You asked him.

"Huh?" He reacted as if he just woke up.

"Pfft, nothing." You chuckled.

He just stared you completely dazed and clueless. For a moment, that very moment, it's just him and your smile. It felt like...like the world stopped spinning. The train went for a stop to unload and load passengers which took him out of his reverie.

Somehow, he felt nervous and frightened at the same time, but it's the kind of fright that felt so good, it's weird and illogical.

He gulped and and casted you a side-glance. You were probably happily looking at the memes in your phone as usual, but somehow, nothing was very usual right now. At least, for Keiji. He pinched close his eyes. He must get his act together. Certainly, he didn't want to make you feel bad by not being in the moment together with you.

It was just a short walk from the train station until you get to the very colorful Dotonbori. Just the sight of its retro-ish food stalls made you remember the taste of the food you once had here. Augh! Just by looking at the giant octopus animatronic made your mouth water.

"Keiji!" You excitedly pointed out and he automatically beamed a smile. "Takoyaki!" There's that childlike glow in your face that he couldn't really grasp, but also it's something that he...he couldn't exactly describe. It's? It's...

"So cute!" You muttered like there were stars in your eyes as you eyed the food from afar. "Look at those big takoyaki, aren't they so cute and delicious?"

You nodded your head and made praying hands, pleading him to side with you on your takoyaki agenda. He sighed and gave you pretty little smile.

"Yes!" You balled your hand in victory and walked towards the stall, when he stopped you by the shoulder and knelt.

"You always forget about this." He said, tying your shoelace.

It had been a big puzzle for you how he always knew whenever your shoelace was undone. It was like he had a special instinct allotted for it. The moment he's finished fixing your lace, he looked up at you, unintentionally locking with your eyes. As cliche as it sounded...for a beat, it felt like time stood still, as if he's not on his knees and the two of you were not in the middle of the street. He shivered and felt like he couldn't move.

However, the wind blew between you causing you to sneeze. Keiji hastily got to his feet and worriedly asked, "Are you cold?"

"Nah, it's just the breeze. No worries." You waved your hand, dismissively.

"Oh..." Maybe, the shivers he got a while ago was just due to the temperature here, he thought. "I can lend you my jacket if you need it."

Letting out a huff, "I'm fine, silly," and laughed. "Let's go?"

You settled yourselves in a table with seats facing each other as soon as you got your orders.

"Itadakimasu!" Without hesitation, you went after your food. Meanwhile, Keiji still dawdled a little.

"I'm sorry." He let out as he poked his takoyaki with a toothpick. He knew it was food and his thought was highly irrational, but it was super fluffy and adorable.

"Hmm?" You hummed in question, cheeks all puffy as your mouth was stuffed with food.

For whatever reasons, takoyaki reminded him of you.

"I think I'm not acting like myself today. I'm just spacing out."

"You're always spacing out. Nothing new." You nonchalantly let him know and let out a chuckle.

"Huh?" He reacted out of pure disbelief.  "What do you mean I..." He really didn't consider himself as a very spacey person. "What are you talking about?"

"See, if you're really unwell, how come you still get to add extra mayo on your takoyaki."

Keiji brought his attention to his food and sighed, "that's completely different, Y/N."

"Hmm? So you mean you're spacing out for completely different reasons this time?"

"I don't space out, Y/N."

The way he's already saying your name meaning he's being so specific about something so small like this. So rare of Akaashi Keiji. You stifled your laughter, almost choking on your food. "You do, Keiji. I really think that you're confined in your head most of the time."

"I don't think so."

"You must be unaware, I guess. Like! Like! There are moments when you have the 'what the hell is happening' look all written in your face!" You laughed.

"Says the one who just gets lost staring up in the clouds." He retaliated, aggressively stuffing his mouth with takoyaki.

"For the record, I'm aware of it."

"Oh, are you?" He threw back as he was about to get another munch on his food, when he noticed a dab of mayo on your chin. "Y/N," he leaned close to you and wiped under your lip with back of his hand. Your heart felt like dropping any moment as he lingered—his eyes skimming the outline of your face and staying longer in your eyes.

Well, that's what you would've thought if you didn't know any better.

He went back to his seat and pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose like nothing happened. He always acted this way. Like there's something more, but what's new? It's just you who's giving meaning to things.

After eating, you decided to walk around, take pictures and eat some more. You laughed at the many times Keiji would take so long before eating because he's taking the perfect shot of the food like he's a blogger. You teased him about it, but of course, Mr. In-denial said it was nothing like that.

Keiji didn't exactly know how to wrap his head around your photo poses. He had been your personal photographer whenever you'd go your new adventures, yet he still couldn't fathom where were you getting those poses. Also, not to mention the countless times he scolded you for your unmade shoelace, which he always ended up tying anyways.

"I could have you try Onigiri Miya, if we're not running out of time, but it's still in the neighboring prefecture." He said as the two of you strolled, just wasting time.

"Yeah, too bad." You mumbled.

He took a deep breath. "Anyway, next time."

Next time? You gave out a wry smile. Is there really a next time?

You got a grip of yourself. You promised not to think of any sad thoughts and just savor, live and treasure whatever moment you have left to spend with him, so that in the end, maybe...the bitterness could be replaced with sweet memories?

Walking under the autumn foliage along the street, burnt-colored leaves rained on you as the wind passed you by. You watched as it fell, catching some atop of your hands. A smile spread across your face.

The autumn trees here were not as fantastic as some of those he had seen from the parks in Tokyo, but somehow what Keiji had right now was something even more.

Suddenly, the noises of the crowd and the cars from the background were all drowned and muted in his ears. There's only the falling orange leaves and the twinkle in your eyes. He always wondered how your eyes could do that sparkly thing he couldn't even explain in proper words. And your cheeks, they're puffed up as you gave the most adorable smile. Your voice echoing as you fondly called out his name. All of those...all of you...leaving a tight knot in his chest.

Frightening, he had that frightening feeling again.

When you're in love, everything about that person becomes attractive.

He let go of his breath. Keiji let go of the breath he didn't know he'd been holding for so long. He looked away from you.

What was he even thinking? He shouldn't be affected by your story. It's...it's just fictional after all. He shifted back his gaze on you. Somehow, saying that to himself left a bitter aftertaste like a badly brewed coffee.

"Keiji!" Laughing, you teased. "Why are you sad? You travelled here to Osaka just to be sad?"

He quickly turned his head away again, "I'm not sad."

"You said so. Hmm," you looked down at your watch and took note of the time. "Let's get some dango before we head home?"

A few more snacks after, you finally hopped in the train home. You were instantly asleep the moment you took your seat. Your head was swaying back and forth slightly hitting the metal pole beside you. Just before you could hit it again, Keiji had a hand on your forehead, catching you before it's too late. He knew for sure that it would happen again once he let go of you, so he leaned your head against his shoulder.

You were surely tired. Well, he couldn't exactly blame you. You both ate a lot and went for quite a stroll. He smiled. Your even breathing sounded so peaceful and calming. Somehow, he could smell your hair as it's so near to his nose. It was kind of different from before. Did you change shampoos? Also, it felt so fuzzy against his cheek and the weight of your head on his shoulder, it felt so warm.

Before he could even dive any further, your station already appeared on the screen. He tapped you gently, waking you up. You walked in silence on the way to your home. His chuckle almost escaped him when he noticed that you were still sleepy with the way you move so slow and slightly groggy.

Halfway through your walk, you both let out a long sigh. You were surprised with the synchronicity, and exchanged glances, giggling afterwards like kids back in pre-school.

"Keiji," you started. "Thanks for today."

"What are you thanking for?" He prodded a little.

Casting your eyes upon the stars, "nothing, just- just for spending time with me like this."

"Are you still asleep?"

You light-heartedly scowled at him. "Whatever, I had fun today, Keiji."

You took a deep inhale, turned around and faced him. "Because I have to go."

Confusion came across his face, until everything dawned to him.

"Oh, you're already home," he said, finally having noticed that you're standing in front of your gate. Somehow, he still wanted to spend some more time with you but that would be unreasonable and you're probably tired.

"Yup!" You nodded your head. "It's kinda' late." You rocked back and forth on your feet.

"Yeah, uh, good night." He bade.

"Good night! Be careful, okay?" You waved your hand and he started walking. You always let him walk a few houses before going inside your home and he would always glance back a few times, checking up on you.

It was super petty, but he couldn't get over with how you were so flabbergasted in seeing the food stalls along Dotonbori. Also, he really wanted to bring you to Kyoto next time.
