Eddie does notice something is a little off but doesnt pry too much because she seems overall okay. Except one day when she knows he wont be home she uses her spare key to get into his trailer and finds his stash of the harder drugs he keeps cause every once and a while he gets someone who wants to buy them. She finds pills and decides to take them trying to od and while shes in the bathroom slipping in and out of consciousness Eddie comes back home and finds her
