I was listening to The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie and IMMEDIATELY my mind was like "what if this was a Jade x Reader angst fic where the whole relationship was an EXPERIPENT (instead of the "I was a bet" trope it's "I was a project") and the reader was saying this to him while breaking up. Then afterwards they avoid him and refuse to give him any more reactions until his brother, Trey, and whoever else makes him realize he legit fell in love and ROYALLY FUCKED UP....."

A starless sky, endless yet comforting is all you saw, glancing up waiting to meet him. It was a chilly day, windy even. But yet you waited. For him. He was the one who patched your cut in the kitchen ever so graciously. He was the one you bonded with quickly, you pulled him away from Kalim at night and whenever possible. He was the one you love. He was the one. Despite all that, your parents may not agree with you. You’re the crown royal after all. 

“Gem, why’d you call me up here-“

“I know you want me, so who can stop me if I decide you’re my destiny?” You cut him off. Quite bold of you. 

Jamil glanced at you and let out a dejected sigh. You made eye contact with him, refusing to let him out of your sight.

“You think it’s easy, don’t you? Destiny cannot be rewritten, I hate to say it.” 

“What if we’re the first? What if we rewrite the stars?”  You say, glimmering with hope. He’s here in your heart, and you think you're in his.

“No one can rewrite destiny, my love. It’s impossible…” 

All you wanted was to be with him. You wanted all of him. Good days or bad, you wanted him. Nothing can keep you two apart, or so you thought. 

“It’s not impossible.” You attempt to reassure him and partially reassure yourself at the same time. “Say that it’s possible” You say, with a quiver in your voice.

Jamil sat next to you, wrapping his arms around you, he felt warm and smelt like his homemade curry. He pulls you closer to his body, you rest your head on his chest. “It can be possible…just for tonight.” 

Eventually, the sun starts to peak over the horizon in the distance, and you begin to realize your fantasy is coming to an end. 

Jamil removes his arm from around you and places a soft kiss on your cheek. He gets up and begins to leave, as he leaves he tells you. “You know I want you. It's not a secret I try to hide

But I can't have you. We're bound to break and my hands are tied” 

Perhaps, he’s right. No one can rewrite the stars after all…. But the skyscape is endless. The galaxy even. You thought you and him were too.

Jamil

He happened to feel as though every day was a repeat of the last. He would wake up, help Kalim with everything throughout the entire day, take care of newer Scarabia students, study for his own classes, attend basketball club meetings, and then repeat. It was hard to feel as though he was losing it, especially when he started to plot against Kalim to take the dorm leader position

This all changed, or at least he felt something change, when you showed up. A magic-less, tad bit clumsy, but fierce dorm leader. You were from a different word apparently, but that didn't scare you from tackling overblot on overblot. You even ended up saving him as well

From there, he felt extremely grateful, not just because you helped him get past the overpowering magic but also because you looked at him for who he was. You treated him with kindness, something servants of famous families didn't receive often.

He slowly found himself falling in love with you. Feeling as though his heart was bursting, he wanted to tell the whole world how much he wanted to be with you. But whenever you went up to him and struck up a conversation, he shut his mouth and awkwardly tried to respond.

You changed his life, though you didn't know it. He felt alive again, and he had to find the courage in himself to tell you how much you meant to him. Until then, he finds himself staring off into the distance while he sits at his desk, daydreaming about you

Leona

Being overshadowed for his entire life, Leona didn't expect great things from himself. At first he was hopeful, he had dreams and goals that he hoped he could achieve through merit. However, that dream faded as time flowed. His overblot situation didn't help very much either

Leona noticed you at the hospital when you went to go check up on him. Sure, at first he only knew you as the herbivore who could conjure a simple spell, but he soon found himself intrigued by you. No matter what situation you were in, you bravely faced it. If anything, it reminded him of what he once wanted to be like

He doesn't talk to you right away, he's emotionally constipated to do that. You might find him looking at you from afar, but most of the time he'll look disinterested. Ruggie instead is tasked to follow you around

Leona thought his life wouldn't change for the better. He would remain as the second-born prince and the dorm leader that tried to sabotage a fae crown prince. However, you made him feel different, you cared for him. You listened to what he had to say, and you never shrank away from him even when he tried to scare you off. If anything, it felt like you genuinely cared for his existence, it was new

Leona doesn't know he has a crush on you, if anything he asks Ruggie if he's sick. Ruggie will laugh and say that the prince is probably lovesick. Will Leona ever get the chance to confess to you? Who knows, maybe surprise him with your feelings if you happen to feel the same way

Trey

You two barely knew each other. You were a new magic-less student who was placed into the worst-quality dorm. Yet, you weren't scared of Riddle, of Malleus, of anyone. You were brave but you also had a big heart, things that Trey admires

His life before you came into it was pretty mundane, and it seemed like whatever he tried to do to help Riddle fight his past was pointless. You didn't just change Riddle's life but his as well by giving him the courage to confront his childhood friend. You also happened to be someone who saw him as someone more than a vice-dorm leader who was always siding with Riddle

A small detail he loved about you was that you appreciated all of the hard work he did as well. It was small, sure, just a few papers Riddle asked him to fill in and baking. But you were always happy to join him when making pastries and sharing stories about your life from a different world. He soon found himself falling in love with you.

Cater will be the first one to point out that Trey has been acting differently. He was always pretty laid back, but this time Trey was a little more nervous whenever you were around. He tried to act cool, but Cater could see the way a slight tint of red rose on Trey's cheeks and how Trey would stutter a bit whenever you talked to him. Cater will confront the vice-dorm leader about this revelation right after you leave that day, to which Trey shouts "No I am not having a crush!"

Of course Trey is, he just doesn't realize it. You changed his life, even though you might think it was a small impact you still did something. He wants to spend more time with you, and he might find the courage to ask you one day

It has grown quite tiresome to get thrown at students having overblots since being at Night Raven. Of course, you wanted to help your friends get through them, but peaceful moments seemed rare.

Even in the craziness you managed to fall in love with the fae prince. He was your foundation of support and is always there to reassure you when you have doubts about yourself. Malleus loves his family as well— but things aren’t as picture perfect lately. His father figure wanting to leave isn’t exactly the greatest news someone would want to hear.

Lilia growing weak is devastating to come to terms with for the prince. He can live for centuries, but can one truly live forever?

Malleus felt so grateful for you. The other students seemed to fear him. But not you. For you found beauty in him

Silver’s emotions pushed Malleus over the edge. The fae wants to end everyone’s pain. His solution isn’t the right way to go about it though.

You were taken aback by your lover’s overblot form at first. He looked stunning. You didn’t stay in awe for long. Dread filled you as you would once again be trying to fix an overblot situation. But this was your boyfriend and you’d do anything to return him to his regular state of mind. Things did not seem good. Thorns threatening every corner of the school. Were the students around you falling asleep? Thankfully whatever he was doing to them wasn’t working on you just yet.

You were feeling almost helpless in this situation, but giving up on him is never going to be an option. Painfully, you knew there would be a chance you would fall into a sleep. You just hoped you had enough time to reverse things before then.

for once mc was the one in-charge of the music potion. Recently they had been acting more and more on their feelings for the lazy dorm leader Leona. Despite the trials he went through and being talked behind others backs with a power no one appreciated, he still found pride in himself and the energy to stand up for himself.

mc always admired that aspect of him, they could see a soft side under his tough guy act. They were going to get it through his thick skull that they weren’t going anywhere unless it’s in a relationship with him. And they had the perfect song for the occasion from their world.

They let themselves into the lounge area noticing Leona taking his usual afternoon nap by the side of the water. They quickly pull out a bouquet from behind their back and drop it in front of the lion man with a smirk. he growls as he opens his eyes to see you and the flowers just in front of himself. His eyes widened before narrowing. “This supposed to be some sort of gift herbivore?” They shake their head before pulling out a potion and downing it. He pulled himself off of the ground growling. “If this is some sort of joke herbivore, you can just take the mixed bouquet and leave!” He growled before his ears flattened a bit. “just leave.” He grumbled.

“leona” his ears perked at how softly they said his name. Looking a mix of disappointed and loving. Suddenly music started around them and they smiled at him as they began to sing. “I will never let you let me leave I promise I'm not lying!” “Go ahead ask anybody who has seen me trying!” They motion to Ruggie who rolled his eyes as he nodded along. “I'm not going, if it seems like I did I'm probably waiting outside.” They smile as hey start to move to the very bouncy music around leona. He watched them a bit uneasily still unsure what exactly they were doing.

“Such a stubborn person you'll likely never meet another” they puffed out their chest in pride as they smiled. Leona rolled his eyes at this. “When we’ve got an overblot you can’t ask any other” “i’m the best! you'll learn more about me on my family history test!” They giggled and smirked at how prideful that verse sounded.

“I'm gonna do this right!” They bow before leona their smirk changing to a genuine smile. “Show you I'm not moving Wherever you go, I won't be far to follow!” They sit next to him and lean into his side. “Oh, I'm gonna love you so! You'll learn what I already know I love you means you're never, ever, ever getting rid of me.” Leona stares down at them as they smile up at him from against his side. He scoffed a bit and turned away, trying to control his pounding heart.

“You can try~, oh, but I~” mc sang softly next to him as they gripped his arm. “I love you means you're never, ever, ever getting rid of me” they stand up and sway infront of the lion man as he struggled agains his own want to pull them back to his side.

“Ready to stop?” He grumbles at them

“Not quite, im confessing infront of everybody!” They say dancing as Cater cheered as he popped up from the doorway with his phone out, obviously recording the spectacle.

“What?!” Leona roared. His anger only calming as mc grabbed his face and got him to look at them and only them as they continued to sing.

“I grew up a lonely child in the suburb of the city.” Leona’s attention was back to them since they usually never shared their backstory. “Spent my days alone my only friend was a stray kitty, called Sardine” they giggled a bit at the memory. “I thought it was hilarious to call a cat a kind of fish” Leona chuckled at how they smirked at him. “She played hard to get hissing while she scratched me” they elbowed Leona’s side a bit as he frowned at their words, scanning their hands and arms for the faded scratch marks. “What she was trying to say was "mc come and catch me"” they smiled in pride and Leona rolled his eyes at their thought process. “I learned quickly, that perseverance stood between a cat and his new best friend, me!” Hey spun around Leona. A bright smile matching the one when he fist didn’t push them away from his usual napping spot. Leona was fighting to not match their smile with a smirk of his own.

“Oh, I'm gonna do this right Show you I'm not moving” they moved to hug his side and he stiffened as his tail swayed happily behind himself. “Wherever you go, I won't be far to follow” they smile up at him and he gently shakes them off looking away and fighting the warmth crawling up his neck. “Oh, I'm gonna love you so You'll learn what I already know!” They Steve back from him and put their hands behind their back. “I love you means you're never, ever, ever getting rid of me” they shove the Bowie back into Leona’s hands as he looks somewhat unimpressed at it.

“When you say never?” He led them on, playing along with them for now.

“You can try~ oh, but I~” mc sang back leaning toward the lion man.

“I love you means blah blah blah yip yap yap yap now get on with it!” Ruggie called out tired of seeing the two dance around each other for so long. Mc giggled before turning to Leona with a more serious look.

“I can try~, but I~” they sang once more. Voice so full of love that it set Leona's heart ablaze. “I love you means you're never, ever, ever getting rid of me!” They exclaimed at the music stopped. They stood infront if Leona panting a bit from their dancing and singing from before. Leona was silent for a few seconds and he watched as mc looked a bit disappointed or upset at the stretching silence and his lack of a reaction. He sighed, breaking the silence.

“Tch, if ya wanted to confess so badly how about a kiss then herbivore?” He teases. Their face warmed at the remark but to leonas surprise and delight they pulled him down by his collar and kissed him hard and quick. Pulling back with a victorious smirk of their own.

“does that work for you, your highness?” They teased a bit. Leonas faced flushed at the nickname and he quickly pulled them back to his chest glaring at the others watching them. They quickly got the message and left, leaving Leona and mc alone together.

“you know you won’t be able to take this back herbivore.” Leona said seriously scanning their eyes for any hint of remorse or hesitation.

“you never ever getting rid of me leona.” They said smiling st him, eyes full of light and love that had Leona greedily pulling them closer to kiss them. Thanking them and pouring all the things he couldn’t bring himself to say into the kiss. They eventually pulled away with a small gasp and pushed their forehead against his, humming happily. Both now content to enjoy the others company as they figure out their new relationship together. They were never ever going to get rid of each other.

My asks will mostly be an “ask me anything” type ask box. Ask me or my Twst OC about anything, how we are doing, thoughts about the game, Twisted Wonderland if anyone needs specifics, stuff like that.

Overview

For starters, this blog does have some NSFW content, so I'd like anyone who is under the age of 18 to please not participate in anything NSFW, asks, requests etc. As for now, I will only write my Twst OC x canon characters, or canon characters x canon characters, platonic and or romantic.

The characters that I will ship Mirai with are: Cater, Ace, Leona, Jack, Azul, Jade, Kalim, Epel, Idia, and Sebek.

I can and or will write canon x canon i.e. Ace x Deuce and or Cater x Trey.

I will write Crewel, but he will be strictly platonic.

And if that goes to plan, and depending how confident I am with my writing, then and only then will I open up requests outside of my OC. (With rules, of course!)

Formatting

Be specific and follow the rules. For example, don't just write, "I want a fluff fic with Leona." That's too vague.

Instead, write, "Can I get a fluff fic between Leona and Mirai", or "Can I get a hurt/comfort fic between Leona and Ruggie after Leona's Overblot."

Make sure it's thorough and easy to understand. Nothing too overly complicated, but simple. I don't mind a bit of research, but if it isn't something easy to find, it's a no.

If it gets too specific, where there is no freedom for me to write, it's a no.

I don't mind polyamorous relationships, but it depends on the characters involved.

What I will not write.

I don't mind some violence/canon typical violence, topics of bullying, but I will not do all out blood, gore, and violence (i.e. murder between canon characters, torture, severe bullying)

I don't mind topics of mental illness, referencing depression, self harm (like scars), suicidal depression, since my OC has a background of a few of those topics, but I will not write out the act (i.e. i will not write out self harm, or anyone unaliving themselves) and I will always put out a warning just in case and I'll try to keep it vague.

I will not write Yandere, I am really uncomfortable with that trope. Other tropes I don't like are: bullies to lovers, miscommunication, cheating, pregnancy/surprise pregnancy, abuse between characters.

I don't mind Smut, I might actually have several written already, but if it just gets dangerous/nasty, it's a straight no.

I will not write r*pe, SA, discrimination (unless canon typical i.e. Fae/human, but I will not make the narrative worse than what is canon), racism, and anything else that could be labeled as Dead Dove: Do not eat.

Crossovers of any kind, Songfics, villainization of canon character (i.e. making Leona, Vil, Trey, Riddle, Malleus, disgustingly mean just to have a villain in the story), character hate.

Match-ups, anything Canon x Reader or Canon x Yuu, Gender swapping for canon charters, but I don't mind making Mi-Mi female, I don't want to offend anyone.

All in all, keep it nice, keep it clean. Anything hateful, against the rules, will result in the ask/request being deleted, and if need be, you will be blocked.

Also, be nice. Don't demand anything, I will not respond. Sleepy has a fragile heart, so don't make Sleepy cry. I don't need you to be overly nice, but a "hello, how are you" would be nice. Don't request/ask starting with "I want", "Give me", etc. I'll take " Can I get," but "May I" is better.

And more importantly, give me time to write. Don blow up my asks/requests wondering where your work is. I'm human, and I have my own life, so please be patient.

In A Sentimental Mood: A Ruggie/Yuu Oneshot

Some quick Housekeeping! This was originally meant to be a song-fic but the only time I remembered to/felt inspired to write was nearly the middle of the night (as writers do lol) so I didn’t have enough mental energy to splice the lyrics together into the story. Instead, I listened to the song on repeat while writing, like, HALF of the fic but I thought it was cute enough to fit the vibes. The narrator's voice and descriptions were hard to keep consistent as well as concise, but whatever. I don’t think I properly matched Ruggie’s speech pattern but I think it’s close enough to ‘random, working class teenager’ for now.

Also! It’s an X Yuu but I’m pretty sure I used all GN! Pronouns so please feel free to read it as an X Reader (who’s the Ramshackle Perfect). It felt kinda awkward to not describe the character or use open descriptors (like Y/N, HC, etc.) but feel free to add any notes or styles to try out for an open reader audience. Honestly feel free to comment or message any feedback lol! I don’t have a beta reader atm (I might ask either my gf or my IRL friend who’s also into TWST) but it could be fun to have a random stranger react to my writing so they’re disconnected from personal feelings and whatnot.

 I have a fic introducing my oc a little interacting with the Pop Music Club, but it’s making out to be longer than expected so between writing for my own AU/ocs story I’ll be posting cute lil song-fics as well as crackhead interactions lol! Maybe a few headcanons as well. I’m not sure if I would have ever actually started writing fanfics (or writing in general) instead of simply daydreaming about it if it wasn’t for @twst-beam and @krenenbaker , so a quick dedication for them for lowkey lighting a fire under my ass. Not only have you opened the creative floodgates, but actually gave me the motivation to actually TRY and put it into action. Anyway…. ON TO THE STORY BITCHES!!! ENJOY THE THE SWEET HYENA BOY (who weirdly looks exactly like my Boyfriend, lol) AND COME REALISH IN THE CHAOS~

In A Sentimental Mood:

A Ruggie/Yuu one-shot

It had been a long day. Scratch that–it had been the longest year of Ruggie Bucchi and Yuu’s life! However, there was something especially trying these last 24 hours. Maybe it had something to do with how this was the first day off the both had (that lined up) in w e e k s and they STILL BOTH got called in to run some nonsensical errand. Or maybe it’s because when the First Year Squad were supposed to be babysitting Grim the entire first floor of Ramshackle got absolutely trashed. 

Something about stupid bets, idiotic magic competition, and a prolonged chase. Afterwards, Rugs and Yuu had to help clean up! The aftermath of the wreckage was too much for the Hodge Podge group of freshmen.

What really topped the day off was the mission impossible scheme the couple failed to pull off. Originally, the two were simply planning to “borrow” on one Leonas (numerous) credit cards while the latter was passed out for an all-expenses-paid date out. It’s not like they were about to rob the second prince blind! Just a few trips to their usual thrifting stops, maybe hassle with a local boutique and then some semi-fancy free grub. 

Instead they got caught two shops in when they decided to grab some food before being totally weighed down by paper shopping bags. Since they had a later start, Yuu suggested getting dinner to the new uppity wine-and-dine.

“C’mon Rugs~ When are we gonna have another chance to dine like Kings? And on a Royal Dime at that!” they foolishly (but successfully) tempted the poor Hyena into a little more Mischievous than the two realized.

Too bad their Dinner Date got cut short from one of the waiters recognizing the Sunset Savannah Royal Seal on Leona’s card. It took an hour and a half of being corralled into a backroom, 3 ominous threats of calling the police, snarky back talk and just general arguing before Leona strutted into the Restaurant and vouched for his underclassmen. Seeing the lazy Lion not only WAKE UP, but come off campus was a bit of a surprise for the thief couple. 

What wasn’t as surprising was his smug, diva face while declaring that they would need to pay him back for disturbing his nap. After hasty, and admittedly sheepish, promises to the Prince, he collected his missing card and strutted back to campus. Luckily, he was secretly a bit of a softy towards his unofficial Vice and the magicless Perfect that saved his life (and probably his status for not ratting him out to his older brother). It’s safe to say while making the switch a decent stack of Thaumarks was placed in Ruggie’s wallet.

So yeah, in a word, the day had been a bit of a shitshow. A clusterfuck of misfortunate events (and if it weren’t for Leona, Yuu and Ruggie would not only be in some kind of jail but also flat broke). 

But finally–finally–this hardworking hyena Beastman and the Ramshackle Perfect were about to have some peace and quiet! A moment for just the two of them. A small, precious moment late at night. After the longest night of their collective lives, the two were able to cuddle up and appreciate what they had. Even if all they had was encompassed by long, tiring days and horrendous luck… and having the bend to the whims of some of the brattiest Divas of NRC.

Regardless, this time isn’t about them. It’s about Ruggie Bucchi and Yuu enjoying what left they had of their day off, Damnnit!  

“Ya’ know,” Yuu hummed into where their face was buried for max comfort; Ruggie’s chest. “Today wasn’t a total bust.”

Ruggie snickered sarcastically as his left hand paused its petting motion through his significant other’s hair. He was clearly only humoring his lover's thought process, yet paying attention all the same.

“I’m just saying it wasn’t a total loss,” they began to half-jokingly argue, “I still got to spend the day with you. Besides, you gotta admit it was pretty funny watching that stupid manager’s annoying face drop when Prince Grumpy strutted in all pissy!”

“Shee Shee Shee! Fair enough, Sugar! Good thing he didn’t realize Leona’s always cranky… or that His Majesty~ was mostly just pissed he had to wake up.” Ruggie answered playfully.

“It was kinda sweet of him for letting us, mostly, off the hook though. He even let us keep our goodies along with that sneaky bonus,” Yuu mentioned while lazily motioning towards the small mound of shopping bags and the miscellaneous items inside.

“Pleeeease~ He probably spends more on a single earring than we did with his card and cash combined,” Rugs pouted enviously. To emphasize his pout, he completely encircled Yuu with his arms and clutched them tightly. He was hanging onto them tighter than a swiped snack from the cafeteria on Doughnut day.

“I don’t know,” his partner giggled in response, “Leona’s been such a softy lately… but his whole dark and brooding reputation gets in the way a bit.”

“Dark and brooding?” Ruggie snorted, “Dunno if Leona’s habits of lyin’ around counts as dark and brooding.”

Yuu tried to suppress their elated smirk at feeling the slight tremor of quiet laughter. “True, that’s more of Mal’s stick isn’t it? Angsty and depressed?”

“Nahhh, that’s Idia’s thing! Also, I still can’t wrap my head ‘round you calling Malleus by some nickname.” His laughter died down as he scrunched his nose at the thought of his partner so buddy-buddy with one of Twisted Wonderland’s most powerful mages. And a crown Prince… with servants and castles and-

“You do realize that Malleus is like a GIANT kid right? I mean, yeah he’s some super powerful wizard-”

“Mage!”

“...whatever. He’s an absolute beast when it comes to magic and whatnot, but he’s got this whole ‘homeschooled only child’ vibe going on and honestly? It’s a little pathetic, in a cute stray way.”

Ruggie didn’t really know how to feel about his partner’s revelation. On one hand, he knew they were just friends and had befriended each other longer before Yuu realized Malleus’ status. That didn’t necessarily make it any easier to cover up the inherent inferiority or the slight unsettling fear. Good thing they didn’t feel the usual pressure of this world’s social ladder… but that doesn’t mean they won’t start worrying if he stayed lost in thought for too long.

“.......what was your world like for you to turn out so weird?” 

“Hey!”

Ruggie continued to laugh, but it came out a little bit strained. Yuu finally glanced up in order to catch a glimpse of their boyfriend’s adorable pout.  His lightly scrunched eyebrows and the way his ears seemed to fold-in on themselves made him look like a grumpy puppy. Absurdly cute, but clearly bothered, and they both had had such a long day t wouldn’t be right not to cheer him back up!

“Oh, c’mere!” the Perfect said through teasing giggles as they flipped Ruggie over to switch positions.

Rugs was currently (and quite contently) snuggled face first into his lover's chest; enjoying the sound of their heartbeat along with the comfortable extra cushioning. His arms reached slightly down to wrap around their waist snuggly as the two pairs of legs naturally crisscrossed at the joints. The moment he fully relaxed was when Yuu started to softly pet his bushy hair and scratch along the base of his ears.

Pure Heaven.

“Were you getting grumpy because I kept mentioning Leona and Malleus?” the Perfect lovingly taunted now that he was trapped and attacked (with euphoric head scratches) in his weak spot. Truly, an idiots mirage of paradise.

“C’mon Sweet Cheeks! Ya Couldn’t’ve least let me keep my pride?” Rugs whined, quickly going back to frowning deeply but unable to hold it for long. There was no chance in all of Twisted Wonderland he could stay “upset” while his precious Dandelion Fluff’s fingers softly caressed his sensitive ears. At least he could cover-up the way he melted, burying himself further into their figure. Luckily, Yuu was already squeezing him closure with a burst of affection,

“Don’t worry, my silly Hyena, the only one I was focused on today was you. The only one I wanted to spend time with was you. And the only person I think of from dawn till dusk, and dream about the whole night through, will always be you, Ruggie Bucchi.” Yuu declared playfully, then slowly breathlessly serious with a sappy amount of affection as they watched Ruggie's tail wave faster and faster.

“Shee shee shee,” Rugs bashfully replied, “where did all that come from outta nowhere?”

Yuu wistfully sighed, “I guess I’m just in a sentimental mood.”

The two shared some playful hushed whispers until Ruggie had to turn his head to hide a yawn. His attempt was futile however, as Yuu caught it–but instead of teasing him over it they simply snuggled him closer and quietly sang an old, sweet crooner love song from their home world. Despite the long day, it felt blissfully short as the two peacefully drifted off to sleep in each other’s arms.

Days had passed since they left this world. Life continued on normally in Night Raven College. The students did their own things, attending classes, doing their work in their respective dorms.

It was as if he had gone back to those days. Shut inside his room playing games all day, rarely gaining contact towards other people except his little brother, Ortho. Isolated to the world, hiding from the reality present before him.

Why I felt inlove with you

Standing beside the Headmaster who was carrying a cat, tied up with his so-called whip of love. He wasn't able to see you since his gadget is on his place, where his voice is live playing. By the time the Mirror of Darkness began to assess, it frowned. Their soul had no shape. Therefore, they do not belong to any dorms.

A human who can't use magic taken by the black carriage itself, to this academy. That was a first. He can understand the Headmaster's disbelief. The cat made a huge ruckus, almost setting the Mirror Hall on fire. Thankfully, Azul volunteered along with Riddle to catch the monster.

With the end of the entrance ceremony, he had guided the new freshmen to the Ignihyde Dorm for he was the Dorm Leader.

In Idia's perspective, their first encounter was weirdly funny and awkward. He ran out of snack that night and decided to buy some wearing his lab coat.

Grim who lost in the rock, paper, scissors game had to buy drinks for the group. Being the worrywart you were, you soon went to help the monster in carrying the drinks. As the said monster walked down the dark hallway, he heard incoherent mumbling the end.

Idia who saw the monster wanted to touch him. He had no bad intentions bit seeing the intense look on his face Grim shrieked. The monster fell on the floor, unconscious. He fainted due to fright thinking he was the mad scientist whom Ace told from a horror story.

You heard Grim's frightened shriek and ran. Along the way, you bumped into him. Idia managed to catch you before you could fell on our butt. Deep inside, he was panicking. He didn't know what to do. His gaze landed on yours. His heart felt a thump as if he was hit by Eros' arrow at that moment.

Those eyes filled with curiosity as they take in his features. You gave their thanks before picking up the drinks and the unconscious monster. He watched your retreating figure while he held his chest. What was that he felt just now?

He met them once again at night where they first encountered. It was awkward at first and you are ended up separating ways without exchanging words. Idia wanted to slap himself. That was his chance yet he was too afraid he may scare them off.

A certain robot noticed his brother's odd behavior, he was pacing back and forth talking to himself. He would occasionally shake his head before jumping to his bed and starts smiling like an idiot.

Ortho began to scan Idia and ran an analysis. So far from the results, it seems his brother is showing signs of being in love. Just the thought of that made this precious cinnamon almost want to leap in joy.

"Brother, are you perhaps in love?" His little brother's assumption made him froze and his smile fell. In love? With who? He suddenly thought of your smiling face.

Idia rolled his eyes. That can't be, Ortho must be overthinking things. He better check his system later.

"I'm not, Ortho. I might only be anxious because of something." And that something was you. He was still on denial. Every minute you would enter his mind out of nowhere.

"According to what I researched, when you're in love, you feel like it's not enough, you always think of them, you've been stressed lately" Ortho stated as he read the analysis displayed before him.

"Currently you're in the first stage of liking someone which is denial." Ortho happily announced as he clapped his hands. "I'm glad my brother is slowly opening up!"

Idia merely buried his face on his pillow. "Hmp noszh umn roub..."

The cute robot merely shook his head. His brother would realize it sooner or later.

He was intoxicated with everything about you. The way their eyes gleam in joy that was staring at his own, twiddling a part of their hair whenever they are nervous, shy or excited.

It seems Ortho may have been right, ever since he laid his eyes on you, he had his heart got stolen. He had gathered all of his courage to speak to you. After many days, you became close.

In his eyes, you were too perfect. Too perfect for him. They deserved someone better than him yet you were stuck with him. A shut-in who play games all day, not that popular, hates going out, not as handsome as the other students in this academy. Just what did you see in him?

Negative thoughts began to accumulate in his mind. Ortho seeing this became nervous. He may accumulate blot at this point. Yet you didn't care and fell in love with him. He felt like it was a dream when you two started dating.

Ortho was very happy by the news and called you sister-in-law which made Idia choke on his own spit.

It started slow but surely. Occasionally holding hands when you both find opportunity. At the end of their dates (mostly indoors), the two lovers would end up with red faces yet felt accomplished.

That was the day he felt his whole world somehow stopped. The Headmaster had found a way for his lover to return back to their world. Of course, you would have to go back to your own world one day. He felt like someone took out his heart and shredded it into pieces.

On the day you would leave this world, you bid farewell to your fellow first year friends and acquaintances from the other dorms. Each dorm leaders gave you souvenirs as to remembrance and gave them thanks. With the exception of Leona who said he will not miss them but he gave you one. Even Malleus Draconia was also there to bid you farewell.

You were glancing at the doors of the hall, waiting for him. He was the last one who still hadn't talked to you. Meanwhile in Idia's thoughts as he hide behind the door, you were going to leave and the possibility of you returning in this world would be low.

Crowley tapped their shoulder and reminded them it was time to go. Casting a longing glance at the door, they manage to see him peeking behind the door along with Ortho who reveal himself and began pulling his brother.

You asked the Headmaster to just give them a moment. Without giving him a chance to respond, you ran to the door. Idia froze seeing this. Ortho who was waiting for the right moment, he pushed him. At the exact moment, you hugged him tightly. Idia slowly wrapped his arms around them.

Crowley watched this interaction with a doting smile. He began to mumble about how gracious he was, giving the two lovers their moment.

He held your hand staring at your eyes, desperate. Deep inside, they wanted to stay in this world permanently but they still have their family waiting for them back home.

You said something which Idia didn't manage to hear. He was too absorbed in his thoughts despite staring at them.

They glanced back to the waiting Headmaster who nodded. They shared a brief and chaste kiss before you slowly pulled away from him. He let your hands slipped away from his grasp as you ran back inside the hall.

He watched as you gave him a last glance before smiling, tears welling up in you eyes. Just seeing those eyes made his chest tighten. They went through the mirror swiftly. Idia silently prayed to the gods you would arrive to your world safely. Even though he is not that lucky, he hoped atleast they heard them.

"Brother! I have news!!!" Ortho crashed inside the room. He began waving his arms in the air as to catch his brother's attention from the screen. Idia just blankly stared at the screen as he played.

He pouted seeing his brother was too preoccupied in the game.

"I guess you don't want to see (Y/N) again, brother?"

His hands that were holding the controller paused. The character he was playing, died and huge words GAME OVER flashed at the screen.

Idia bit his lower lip as he hugged his knees close to his chest. Just the thought of you made his heart ache and stomach churn.

"They're not here, Ortho. They went back to their world." Idia bitterly said as he tried to hold in the tears. Barely a week just passed since you returned, he felt so lost and heartbroken.

Ortho was silent for a moment before he smiled. He let the person waiting outside the door to silently enter.

"Idia..." A familiar voice spoke up behind him. Fear and Hope surged throughout his body. Was that what he think it was? Did the Fates love to torture him?

Turning around, his eyes slowly widened and glistened. Standing there at the door frame was you, in a casual outfit. His heart stopped the moment his eyes met yours. His throat became dry, his legs were shaking

Without a care, tears that well up began to flow down to his cheeks. He ran and wrapped his arms around them, wondering if this was a dream. If it was, he would never want to wake up from this.

You gently smiled seeing the tears, wiping them with their thumbs. You held his face, caressing his cheeks. Idia nuzzle his head close to their warmth.

"I missed you so much..." He broke down as he clutched your hand whimpering, as if they will disappear any moment. He felt like he would go crazy.

"Is this real? Am I hallucinating?" They chuckled seeing his cute antics, mumbling incoherent words. Wrapping their arms around his neck and leaning close, their lips met. They shared a long, gentle but full kiss

Ortho discreetly left the room with a huge grin in his face and quietly close the door. He knew both of them need privacy and make up the lost time.

"H-How?" Idia dumbfoundedly asked as he slowly calm down. His lover giggled before pouting.

"You weren't able to hear what I said back then, didn't you?" They said, poking Idia's cheeks. He began to reminisced that day.

"I promised I'll come back." Idia heard it back then but he was too caught up in his thoughts. They knew he was distracted that day. He didn't answer except he brought them close to his chest.

Laying on his own bed, you stare at him with an apologetic expression on their face. "I'm sorry if it took too long..."

Idia held their cheeks as he absorbed their whole features. They had indeed matured a few years which made him think you had grown more beautiful/handsome in his eyes.

"I'll forgive you after you cuddle with me. Also, weeks had just passed..." He turned his head hiding his flustered face. Luckily, you were surprised at the difference on how time runs here and on your world.

"I guess the time flow is here is different from my world."

Idia brought their frame close to his chest. They were stunned but soon burst into fit of giggles. Staring at his eyes, filled with pure love, they pecked his lips and hugged him.

Idia lay his chin above their head in content. A soft smile crawl upon his dark lips. The Fates was somewhat merciful to him this time.

You bribed Grim to hand out invitations to all the dorm leaders in exchange for tuna. Out of all the breathtaking men there, one in particular had your interest in his grasp. Vil Schoenheit

You were so nervous in the back of your mind. “It is quite nice, but could use some more purple decorations.” He says half serious-half jokingly. “Well, I’ll try to remember next time.” You say with a laugh

He’s a celebrity. What chance do you even have with him romantically? Thoughts like that eating you up inside change the moment to bittersweet. After the small interaction, you went back to hanging out with your friends, Ace and Deuce. You weren’t sure how to keep going after squashing your own confidence, so you left things short and polite.

After Ace and Deuce helped you clean up once the party was over, you and Grim headed back to the Ramshackle dorm. It was more like your home than a dorm at this point, since you had nowhere else to go.

You did your nightly routines then laid down in bed. When sleep was about to take over, your phone dinged. It was from Vil (all of the students numbers are programmed in your phone in case you need help).

Vil: You’re so gorgeous💜 I can’t say anything to your face

You: Huh?

Vil: I’m sorry if this seems out of nowhere, but you intrigue me. Getting to talk to you face-to-face, even briefly, makes me want to know you more.

you got sent to another world by a mirror talking about a mission to save whomever

so you expected crazy things to happen once you were fully settled in

but not like this

yuu, yes that is her real name. was such a bitch

not anything petty like rumors, or hair pulling, not even tripping,

she hurts you physically, and you kept quiet about it. cause who'll ever believe the new-comer over the person who'd save them from their overblots?

so as the injuries got worse and worse, you could no longer treat it by yourself

so you went to the clinic to hopefully treat yourself without anyone knowing

flinching as you disinfect scars that looked like scratch marks. you sighed, as you haven't even applied cold compress to the bruises

you sluggishly walk to the mini fridge containing ice packs and kneeled

you hissed as one of the bigger bruise was on your knee, and no it doesn't look like you just 'tripped and fell' so you just hid it

you finally broke down. yes life back on earth wasn't easy, but at least there you wouldn't have these constant injuries

plus you were running out of excuses to tell everyone

you just wanted to be left alone. not wanting anyone to see you at your weakest

unfortunately, you went inside the lion's den

rustling of curtain dividers can be perceived as a scary noise. especially in this situation

so you hurriedly wiped away tears but wasn't fast enough

standing up you fixed your hair and wiped what's left of your tears

you turned around only to be cornered by leona

"i smell blood on you" he said right in your face

he quickly reached for your arm, and there lies scars. old ones that already healed, and new one's that looked like scratch marks

"who did this" he was enraged yet didn't show it. who dares prey on his prey

 you winced, as he was pressing his fingers on your injuries

"i- no one" you paused thinking of a reason "i was just clumsy"

he thought for a second, but lets go the next

so you quickly went back to your not so rundown anymore dorm 

and waited for time to pass to head for class

leona was suspicious, of course as would anybody be in that situation

he became cautious of everyone around you

"bu-but it was them who- I didn't do anything" yuu shouted

"don't lie, I saw what you did to her" leona scoffed at her terrible excuse

everywhere yuu looked everyone's eyes are filled with scorn, disbelief, disgust and anger
