I HAVE AN ANOUNCEMENT TO MAKE: First of all, I reached 90 followers! Only ten more, and I will hoist my '100 Followers Event'. I have revisited the list of 50 questions I gave you all for my previous Event and swapped out ones I already answered during the event or in passing on my blog, for brand new questions of course. Considering all the drama I had about personal questions, get ready to invade my privacy! (please be kind ^^) Secondly, I want to announce that to my list of upcoming projects (the Event and my RP blogs), I will be opening myself up for requests from fandoms outside KNB. I still want to mainly write KNB stuff as I have so much god be damned inspiration, but I want to take some requests from the other fandoms I mentioned on my blog too. Especially the dead ones. As a fellow fan, I know we are starved for content so let me give it to you! I know I can sometimes leave requests lay around in my inbox for months, but I genuinely do want them! Gimme, gimme, gimme. And well, connected to my second point, I will soon, aside from my writing schedule (headcanon-oneshot-headcanon-basic instict), be publishing my vision for TWP. To the ones familiar with The Shadowhunter Chronicles, I myself, have been a fan since the first book and made it all the way through (even the hellish ride of TLH). I love the books, yet I also see the flaws in them and Cassandra as a writer being so familiar with her works (I even got familiar with her fanfiction and read the entire Draco Trilogy). She's not as bad as an author as her haters make her out to be, but she really has some sucky areas alright. I can already predict how some of her flaws are going to show up in TWP, and as a long time fan, whilst I am excited for the trilogy and it got me through TLH- I do also want to create my own vision for the perfect ending series and avoiding some of the things I've come to dislike about her work over the years. I hope my fellow Shadowhunter fans are excited! PS: Crossovers are encouraged! -list of fandoms mentioned so far to refresh memory: TVDU Shadowhunters (both books and show) Shaman King Hyperdimension Neptunia Kiznaiver Vampire Knight ElfQuest MLB- (I don't accept requests about real people, only characters) (Also, no Harry Potter. That fandom has plenty of content, it's boring to me) (I don't write for Alice In Borderland, because whilst having seen the show I'd prefer to read the manga first before I start writing for the fandom. I DO accept requests for Alice In Borderland inspired AUs, like I did with my KNB headcanon for who'd survive Alice In Borderland).

 In the past you said that Dru would have a group of friends, but you didn't want to say much because you were far from TWP, now that you've started writing, have you thought about this group (if it was maintained) could you talk a little about it, if there will be Any notable characters? and do Ty and Kit have a group of friends or colleagues? Even if they are not important in the narrative of the story, could they have appeared or been commented on in some chapter, a chapter about Ty in Scholomance and Kit in Devon?

Hi Vanessa! I totally get that you want to know everything about what happens with Kit and Ty and Dru in TWP. All I can say is that in the current draft of LKOF, neither Ty nor Dru nor Kit spends much time at school or home at all. We may meet some people they know at school, and hear about their lives before the beginning of the events of TWP. We do see other students at the Academy with Dru, and we know about Anush and Thais and even Kit's maybe-a-werewolf ex, and may hear about some of the other people Kit and Ty have encountered in the passing years, but they are not important in LKOF. Like you said, aside from Anush and Thais, they may get commented on but that's about it.

Marina: I know TLKoF is a long way off, but just out of curiosity, will Kit and Ty's romantic advance be worked on from the beginning? we might have their first kiss on TLKoF.

We might. You never know. I will say both of them know these are romantic feelings they have, not confused friendship feelings or something, and that yes, this is a romance pretty much from the beginning. For any of you that have read romances, which I'm going to guess is 100%, we all know that takes many different shapes. :)

Josué: Hey, Cassie! I'd like to know if Mina will have some kind of power like James and Lucie. She has Tessa's blood after all. And we know that Mina is too young in TWP, but there is a short chance that one day we meet her power? Thank you for your time! I love your books.

You never know! She is still quite small in TWP. Also, there is the question of the fact that Belial no longer exists and when he disappeared, Lucie and James power went with him. Now, Tessa still has some of her power so whether she passes anything along to Mina at all is to be seen.

One thing I’ve really enjoyed about the TWP flower cards is the meaning behind each flower choice. I feel as tho they’ve been longer and more literal than other series ones. And I kind of want to do a deep dive on what they mean

Obviously we need to start off we THE main character of the series miss Dru Blackthorn.

The fact that her flower is mountain ash and the wording is “With me you are safe” obviously implies her known love interest: Ash Morgenstern. I think this entire thing implies that Ash will find safety and comfort within Dru. This is a really fundamental thing with Ash’s character as his has consistently been around and placed with people who are quite insane, and so I feel as though this implies to us seeing Ash’s vulnerable side.

HOWEVER, this is not about Ash since it’s Dru’s flower card (YEAH… get outta here wanna be Targaryen). I have a feel that the “You are safe with me” can have a lot of other implications. I think the idea that others such as Ash and Thais find safety in Dru would mean a lot to her, especially since she’s a character we’ve seen get pushed to the side lines a lot. So I think others finding safety within her is very a meaningful thing and also shows how she has grown as a person that cannot only take her of herself, but also others.

I also think it could be a self reflection thing. Cassandra has confirmed that Dru will be suffering with panic attacks due to the trauma from the events of the dark artifices. And so I feel as tho the “you are safe with me” could be speaking to herself, almost reassuring herself that she is safe within herself and her own body. So I feel like it also represents a show of finding a lot of self love within herself. Which I think will be a wonderful character arc for her.

GUYS I love Dru and I can’t wait to see how her arc progresses in TWP<3

Mark's sibling relationship with Ty is my everything ♥️ I hope we get to see glimpses of it in TWP. Like, how even though Ty resurrected Livvy and may have set off unimaginable chain of events, Mark will always come back to him, no matter what.

thinking about the fact that Kit will go down in history makes me so happy, he’s the last heir to Princess Auraline and may or may not rule all of Faerie in or after twp. either way he’s already super involved with Faerie for him to be forgotten. i hope that generations of shadowhunters are learning about Kit decades after the events of twp.

I have just had thoughts.

We know that Thule will obviously feature again in The Wicked Powers. CC has said that the location of the black volume of the dead, as well as what happened to thule!simon, will be addressed. What i just realized after rereading TDA for the tenth time is that almost all the clues given so far relate to Thule.

The last king of Faerie? In Thule the Unseelie King united the courts and is currently ruling over them with Erec as his heir. And Julian told Thule!Livvy his true name before leaving. And Thule!Liivvy is around seventeen or eighteen, which is the age Kit and Ty will be in TWP. I cant help but assume that Kit and Ty will encounter Thule!Livvy at some point because they're around the same age- maybe by Kit and Ty somehow ending up in Thule!Faerie?

Also, Thule!Mark is missing and we can assume he's with the Wild Hunt in Faerie, which does not have the blight as the mortal world in Thule, meaning there's a strong chance that he and Janus (due to his extra angel blood) are literally the only two candidates for still retaining their Shadowhunter powers, which may tie in to the third book's title- The Last Shadowhunter. And obviously the second book is related to the epilogue of the Lost Book of the White, and the events of the Black Volume of the Dead.

Besides, the problem that Dru goes to Faerie for at the start of TLKoF? I bet it's Jaime being missing. CC said everyone's looking for a solution to the problem, so either everyone at this point knows about the missing Jaime and can't trace him in Faerie (because Kieran would know where he is on Unseelie lands), or it's another demonic problem. I bet the separate problem Kit and Ty are having is related to Livvy's ghost.

Also, remember the dreams Clary had in the early mortal instruments? Of her seeing Jace and Sebastian circle each other, Jace with white wings and Sebastian with black wings? Well, that didn't happen, but there IS someone who looks like Sebastian and has black wings- Ash. And conversely there IS someone who looks like Jace, too- Kit. Who hasn't sprouted white wings yet, but has fey heritage just like Ash. They're technically related, even- the Seelie Queen is Kit's great great great whatever grandmother, so they even partly trace the same lineage. Somehow I think the prophetic dreams Clary had were not of Jace and Sebastian, but Kit and Ash.

All this to say i have no idea how I'm going to wait 1.5 more years for TLKoF. Istg I'll have finished a PhD by the time this series finally ends
