Authors Notes: Hello! After rewriting the plot, I'm finally comfortable enough to share this story. It's a continueation from Maneater, so while it is not necessary, reading Maneater as a prologue will definitely help set the tone for the story! This is my first attempt at writing something a little more heavy, so go easy on me.

Hello good morning/ afternoon/ night. So if ur an engene this might be a very hot topic, #LETENHYPENREST.

To be honest this whole situation is so ridiculous and sick, I want engenes to spread more of this info to other fellow engenes because things r getting extremely serious. Let me give u a little summary of what enhypen has been thru since dark blood.

After around 10 months enhypen had a mini album coming, Dark blood which i know they worked their asses off to and it continued with fate tour. After around 6 months enhypen got out with another mini album, Orange blood. Those albums were amazing and fire but between those 6 months do they get rest? I'm pretty sure they don't have much rest, why? Enhypen literally had fate tours around the world. not only that promotions and shows, filming's, sponsors and practicing, etc,.. just as bad as it seems, things r just getting worst.

After Orange blood enhypen continued with some more fate tours and FATE PLUS?! Not only that between those times they feed our asses with lives, variety shows like enoclock etc. And in those concerts Jay, has been unwell for quite a while, his knee. His knee has been injured for quite a while as his cast can be seen in some pictures as well as in some concerts because.. well he has a knee injury how the flip will he dance? Some k-engenes also have the nerves to mob and be such weird obsessed asses to the members during airport departures and arrivals, flights keep coming and going.

Then, enhypen came out with memorabilia. It's connected with their darkmoon shits and lets say due to their works, they were obv all bops as expected. But during the music show, the members got really abnormal amounts of sleep.. like what do u mean u slept for an HOUR? WHAT DO U MEAN, U DIDNT SLEEP? it's affecting their healths! Guys remember fate hadn't ended, there r still fate plus! Gosh and just like 2 months after that they announced a full album will be coming out... 2. Months. Guys. What the actual hell?! The album is ofc amazing but when they perform I can't help but feel so sad and angry for them. They looked so tired and unwell like heeseung couldn't even walk straight, some members like niks even fainted?!they all looked tired and done and I would be too. And what do u mean enhypen is having another comeback in September like? Oh yay it's in my birthmonth. But I don't even care atp? I swear jay and Jake couldn't even perform a few days ago. park FUCKING jongseong was in the Goddamn hospital, belift count ur FUCKING days. Jake Is unknown but probably sick too which I'm so furious of. Seeing them mention about wanting to go on vacation with no cams just breaks my heart, they just want a break.

I'm gonna be extremely honest, I wouldn't give a fuck if they go hiatus for a year just to rest go vacation or take a break, I just want them to be able to have energy and strength, I really hope they can be all healthy and thriving again. I'm praying for enhypen with my whole heart.

I understand enhypen are kpop idols and have jobs as them, but does that change the fact that they are humans with actual organs, actual living bodies? Of course not! Belift obviously has a problem with that? I understand it's their job but this is over the line, humans have limits and I swear belift is going thru the limit. It's not even a joke anymore, enhypen is extremely overworked and it's so disgusting.

Please give this message a spread and use the #LETENHYPENREST not only in tumblr but other platforms like Twitter TikTok Instagram etc. We need to tell belift that engenes aren't joking because it's getting so so fucking concerning.

lovely anon, I must tell you that I once again went absolutely over the line with pictures I took. There are so many good ones!! I knew a few illustrations from sensei's twitter and knew how well it worked for me so I ordered this book from japan and yes, that is why I can never pick favourites I just like all of them (exception is the series in which the characters are teachers and you are supposed to be their student, not a big fan of those lol). yes its amazing that this fanservice exist. In the interview at the end of the book sensei says they often drew their characters as practise (without lines) and then uploaded them to twitter to find out the people responded so well!! so they continued with it! More snippets from the interview:

they consider this a kind of alternative world that has no space in the manga (since its a gag manga).

they claim they didnt try to make the characters hot on purpose, it just turned out this way. in their head usao and kumao always had old people voices. but now they are glad the characters are hot because of the voice actors choosen.

they come up with a line and then assign it to a character, rarely the other way around.

Every one of their characters has one thing they think is special, something they like to show off when they draw them. for Uramichi its the chest, for Iketeru the slender neck, for Usahara the shoulders and Kumatani the arms!

and shockingly to me: since this manga is running 10 years now they said when they started they felt like Uramichi is so old, but now they are the same age! I cant believe how someone in their twenties wrote such an accurate manga about being in ones thirties.

first of: my favourite has always been ushara. he is cringe fail and i love cringe fail so much. but that also means he has almost no COOL lines because he is kind of an idiot (lovingly said) tho all his illustrations are so cute. so he wont show up here much tho i love everything about his arts of course!!

I love the different way they all do it. Uramichi pretty much goes "I love....you" (cries), Iketeru of course quotes it, Usahara just YELLS at you "HEY I LOVE YOU" and kumatani is like ".............. iloveyou" haskdlfh

generally kumatani has so many cool lines because he is so stone cold. this is also specifically heart wrecking for me because his voice actor Nakamura Yuuchi is my favourite thing since strawberries so if I imagine him doing the voice I want to die.

Three times Kumatani is an absolute tsundere about white day:

i watched bad buddy exactly 3 months ago on the 15th of May, 2023. i watched all the episodes all on the same day and i know the date because after finishing the show i sent a 7 minute long audio note gushing about the show to my best friend. i ADORED it that much. and that's where all of this started. i loved the show so much and the lack of people i knew irl who were interested meant i had to find other people in the fandom to freak out with. i kept posting one after another favourite bad buddy edit of mine on my twitter page, gushing about it, but i got barely any response and that's when i reminded myself that tumblr exists and i should get back on here. and that's how i made this account 2 weeks after i watched the show and voila here i am surrounded by people who are as crazy about the show as i am and i couldn't be more delighted about it :')

Hello lovely people heres my One discourse post!! I want to keep this blog focused on the kind things but i want to get some things off my chest.

I am putting this post in main tags with care. Take care of yourself too.

I dont have twitter but ive heard all the unsavoury things. I am not having fun on tumblr either. Going into my usual tags and seeing so many greyed out posts with blocked terms.... For me the main drawback to enjoying this is the fandoms behaviour, and seeing the streamers so hurt is even worse; having them goof around WHILE talking about getting messages with death threats.

Of course its very important for streamers to address these things, call the fandom out and (if they so wish) talk openly and honestly about every horrible feeling theyre feeling. I wish they keep doing that.

I also wish people were kinder and the streamers didnt have to be this hurt. Please choose to be kind. We all came together to watch qsmp out of love - for the streamers, for the game, for the roleplay, what have you - so please choose to keep loving.

i found it on a tumblr post that seems to credit the artist (warning: theres a somewhat nsfw drawing on the post) but the link is obviously not correct once you click on it. either it was never correct, or the artist changed their username--closest i can get is fennethianell (they've got another drawing with a similar style) but i couldnt find this specific one, unless im being blind T-T

of course, since this is royed art and a lot of people really dont like it, i totally get if you dont want to fulfill this request. im just at my limit and didnt know where else to go Q-Q

Okay, since you already did all the hard work, and to honor the effort you've clearly demonstrated, I shall reveal my trick:

Time. More specifically, timestamps.

Although often ignored by entities that should know better (thanks, Google), the time and date when an image was posted is a very valuable piece of information.

I confess that there are times when it's not really that useful, specially if you're not certain of the precision of your information. But if you are, it's just a matter of knowing where to use it.

In places like Instagram, it's pretty useless. Some platforms are seemingly designed for the now, and unless you have a penchant for scrolling indefinitely, I don't really recommend trying. Now on Tumblr and Twitter (and on the Wayback Machine, my beloved) it could be worth a while.

Tumblr has the archive functionality for all themed blogs, and Twitter has the advanced search tool. On her Instagram profile, the artist mentioned also having a Twitter, so I started there.

The Tumblr post you found is dated to November of 2015, so I set the search range on Twitter from the start of October to the start of December of that year. It's about a nice size for artist accounts, and the date range is easy to set back in case I don't find anything.

And then in the Photos tab, some forty posts down, there it was. The plan was to keep setting the date back until I found it, or to switch tracks to Tumblr if I ever hit the bottom. Luckily, that wasn't necessary.

Hi there. I woke up and saw a twitter trend about Jimin being left out in the BTS chant in 1 of the YTC theater. Just broke my heart. And I saw some twitter trend where some are trying to drown out the happy bday cheers in YTC Busan concert. But my FYP didnt really show me that. I think of you as one of the most objective blogger abt BTS. Is this Jimin hate thing really a prevalent thing? Coz sometimes I also cringe when seeing PJM defending JM by putting others down like the Dior-JHope case. Im pretty sure JM doesnt mind sharing the "spotlight" with his long time roomate. And if the way his entrance and exit was during the Dior doesnt show his (JM) autonomy in terms of being secure with his popularity. I dont know what else. But my heart just breaks when I saw that twitter trend where his name is being left out in the BTS chant. Thanks before.

That video taken before/after the YTC screening ended up being a mess and old news by the time I'm answering this. And it's also something that happens often and the arguments are all the same, repeated on both sides. And it's funny because I came across a tumblr post from 2018 which almost made me think it was written today because the blogger talked about noticing Jimin not being that much active on social media and how a certain group of shippers are hating him so much and no one does or says anything.

I know you're a more recent fan and I can understand that you feel this way. And I can also understand how some are angry for years now because of this. As I've said in the past, it's not normal and it should never be. Because it's not just a case of not liking the guy or thinking he's a dick, the hate is a bit more deeper than that and more complex. I don't think Jimin should be universally liked because that's impossible. as someone who spent years having their stuff ripped and reposted to f1twt, i wish someone would've told me this before i went into a months-long spiral about the issue--but honestly, the healthiest thing to do is stop going on twitter and kindly ask ppl to stop letting u know your stuff is being taken.

i know that's easier said than done and sounds wack but honestly! my mental health was literally the stonks meme after i did this!! sometimes you'll come across your shit on pinterest or google again bc of reposters and it'll Suck™, but don't let this stop you from doing things you enjoy, yknow? at the end of the day, twitter engagement (and tumblr engagement too) doesn't mean anything and is completely forgettable. the important thing is, did you have fun making your gifs? sharing insane moments to talk about with friends? did you reach the audience who matters?

The thing that got to me this time is the privacy of it all. I know im posting on socials but here is very different to twt/tiktok. I’ve never really been one for numbers like if something does well great and obvs there’s stuff i want to do well, but for the most part a lot of my stuff does not get main tagged because it is for a small group of people and myself!

what really gets me and maybe its just me, but the possibility for interaction with real people on twt. For me that is terrifying and the thought of rl people seeing some of my content?? … like why are we putting a gif of Mark grabbing his dick on twitter where he or someone related to him could see it? I didnt main tag it and i know its inevitable that more people will see it but that really fucked with me when i saw that. it still haunts me that the video of with me breathing and making noises from goodwood made it to twt too 🤣 thats what really got to me this time and ive tried to not let it get to me but it’s scary!!! lol

Hello, sorry for taking your time, please answer when you want to!! I just want to share my feelings...

Im new to the Bigbang fandom, i discovered them in February 2023... At first i liked TOP (of course) but when i started to discover their personalities, i suddenly was charmed by Seungri. Before getting into the fandom, first thing i did is reading basic info about the group, so before knowing Seungri better, i knew that he had huge scandal in 2019. It didnt stop me digging deeper about Bigbang. I watched variety shows and interviews they did and their performances and i just fell in love with Seungri. Hes so funny, charismatic and charming guy. And hes voice is incredible. When i heard his part in songs and him talking for the first time, i thought "wow he has such a beautiful voice". I liked his voice much more than TOPs (i thought TOPs voice is weird and wasnt sure i like it or not), but i stopped myself liking Seungri from the start because of all the mess that happened in 2019. But. My feelings. Their uncontrollable.

I fell in love with Seungri and i feel sad because I cant talk with anybody about it. Im afraid i would get critisized liking him, so I avoid any Bigbang fans. But I cant help loving him. I wish i dicovered Bigbang so much so much earlier

I'm so sorry you feel that you have to avoid BigBang fans, but unfortunately know all too well where you're coming from; I honestly enjoy liking them more when I'm removed from the fanbase, it's more freeing not to see everyone's doody opinions on every. single. thing! But regarding Seungri, I feel you about being hesitant to like him. I'm a newer fan as well and before I read up on the 2019 debacle felt like I had to dislike him just from a moral standpoint. Didn't take long to discover how much of a farce his role in the "burning sun scandal" was (it's a mislabel to even title it that...); personally the more I learned about BigBang I was just like... this guy? Seungri? Really? The guy who can't even hide his own phone and dms on I Live Alone? It didn't line up, maybe because it didn't line up. It's really too bad some fans put their own biases and agenda above basic morality and a man's innocence, deciding instead to support the smear campaign and bury the real issues like the corruption and lack of women's rights in South Korea under the rug. But such are the sheep. (Sorry for going off on it, I just... I will forever get passionate about that whole thing/similar issues.)

Anyway, you should know that there are a lot of Seungri fans, they just mostly hang out on twitter; unfortunately here on tumblr a bit of an ot4(3?) cult has formed who likes to harass and bully off any ot5s as soon as they appear. There are a few of us here, too, though! ( @topsodapop makes a lot of gifs, and has been gifing the recent Seungri content as well.) But I'd head to twitter if what you're looking for is a large community to love on Seungri/talk about Seungri on the daily with, it's just too dead here at the moment, for any BigBang content, really.
