Don’t let the consistency fool you, a little goes a long way. I only wish it wasn’t a pump bottle, that’s a personal preference. I loved how it cleansed my scalp and hair without stripping it. My curls were popping after I rinsed it out! ⠀ ⠀ @vanessasessence Knotty Curl can be used as a rinse out, cowash, and leave in. I tried it as a rinse out and leave in, and was not disappointed! A little goes a long way this as well! Slip and moisture were on point too! I loved the clean scent as well. ⠀ ⠀ @curlprep Buttah has the consistency of a custard, which surprised me, but I absolutely loved it! This will give you slip, moisture, and definition! It smells so good too, nice and fruity. ⠀ ⠀ @reclaimhairandbody Curl Elixir is a flaxseed based gel with tons of slip! It has a nice lavender scent and made my curls pop! It didn’t make my hair crunchy and there were no flakes, y’all know I’m heavy handed 😅⠀ ⠀ I truly enjoyed everything in this box, the results speak for themselves. They all have the same amazing grapefruit minty scent which I love. If you’ve been following me for a while you know this RICE WATER & ACV SHAMPOO BAR is my favorite. It has a nice creamy lather, cleansed my hair really well without stripping it. Plus I love the tingling sensation on my scalp. You can also use it on your body too!! The DEEP CONDITIONER is creamy, super moisturizing, has amazing slip, and will leave your curls poppin’! The product that surprised me most was definitely the LEAVE IN CONDITIONER, I’m in love y’all. The slip is everything, it’s super moisturizing, it immediately makes your hair feel like silk. It’s slightly thicker than a lotion consistency, but super creamy and a little goes a long way. The HAIR AND SCALP OIL is not too thick and not too thin. It absorbs nicely and gives your scalp that tingling sensation that I love. My mind was definitely changed after trying the HAIR AND SCALP POMADE as I always scared of them. Fear not y’all, this one is not sticky, greasy, or tacky. It is so smooth and creamy, and my hair was not weighed down. My hair stayed moisturized and looked good for a week! I know y’all want to know my top three, so after much deliberation I was able to finally choose. They are all bomb, but I definitely can’t live without the Shampoo Bar, Leave In, and Hair and Scalp Pomade. Busy making improvements, not excuses.⁣ ⁣ ⬆️ This would have been a bomb caption if it were 100% true 🤭 Here’s the thing. I’m a highly motivated, passionate, and driven individual, but there are a few areas of my life where I consistently make excuses.⁣ ⁣ When I was chatting with my husband last night on the phone, I was telling him how irritated I was with myself for repeatedly setting certain goals at the beginning of each year and never doing what it takes to accomplish them. ⁣ ⁣ For the past four to five years, there’s been this small list of goals that inevitably end up on my new year’s goal list, but each and every year, I fail to make accomplishing them a priority. My other goals always become more important.⁣ ⁣ This short list of goals primarily relate to my health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness. And you know what, it’s not okay that I keep tossing them to the back burner.⁣ ⁣ I’m tired of living out of alignment with who I know I have the potential to become. I don’t want to start 2020 talking about “new year, new me” with that same list of goals. I want to start 2020 already being the “new me”.⁣ ⁣ There’s 6 months left of 2019.
