So the other day someone reached out to us on out Instagram and asked if we had any fic recs for AFTG. So Toria compiled a few of her favs and here they are....

The Travelers 'Verse by @sunrise_and_death

This universe that @sunrise_and_death created is super cool. It reminds me a lot of Sense8 which is probably my favorite show of all time. It's very similar to like a soulmate au but where instead of having a soulmate you have a traveler that can "visit" with when you turn a certain age. The rest of the story is mostly canon and you see Neil on the run and watch the love and admiration grow between Neil and Andrew. It's quite long and wonderful and still being updated.

Neil Josten's Vendetta by Luci_Cunt

This is another au where Andrew is a criminal justice student and is looking for a killer and said killer is Neil. Neil needs a roommate, he gets Andrew. Which is fine, until Andrew is the first person to connect all of Neil’s victims and actually start figuring out who is killing all of the Butcher of Baltimore’s people. Then Neil starts having some issues. It only gets worse when Andrew accidentally discovers a whole new Japanese-flavored layer to Neil's personal vendetta.

Progress comes in Small Steps by Ominous

This 'verse is absolutely hilarious. I started reading it because the second part is Aaron and Andrew in their joint session with Bee and she points out that the twinyards have the same taste in people. You get so many povs and a real insight in the different relationships of the twinayrds, neil and katelyn. It shows a cute friendship between katelyn and neil as well. It is fully complete too.

Summary:

What happens when you only have one best friend and start dating him? your therapist gets concerned, and you have to make new friends.

Andrew and Neil are told to make widen their social circle (that consists of two, maybe three if you count Aaron), and as far as Andrew and Neil are concerned, they are not a fan of this idea, and would really rather not.

There were the jocks, the people he plays sports with, and watch’s Exy with, and does weird straight things with (including the bro back slap ).

Then there were the science nerds and the occasional mathlete.

With these friends, Aaron would watch documentaries with, and blow shit up in the garden and yell at their phones and computers at ungodly times of the night (Andrew and Neil quickly discovered if they made their own kind of bedroom sounds, they quickly shut up).

He and Neil were fine, they watched documentaries together, they played sport together (only sometimes, much to Neil’s dismay), they blow shit up together and they make loud noises in the bedroom together."
